Linda managed to get back home before damien, hurrying upstairs to their be-droom, she pu-ll-ed out of everything she was putting on, putting it in a plastic bag, she threw it in the waste bin, hopefully, damien wouldn’t notice.
She went into the bathroom to take a cool shower, she truly nee-ded it, or maybe a warm bath to sooth her so-re muscles.

Done with everything he nee-ds to do, damien began his journey back home, truly he felt really tired and all he wanted was to get home and have a warm bath, he remembered his mate and hisl-ips broke into a smile.
“linda must be home waiting for me”. he thought as he began to imagine all the things he would love to do to her when he gets back home, he pictured so many n@ûghty things in his head, and his wolf wasn’t helping as he also contributed extra n@ûghty things in his head.
“fv¢k”. he muttered, this crazy pictures were enough to make him go ha-rd .
“you freaking per-vert, you had better st©p with the crazy imaginations”. he heard linda yell in his head throu-gh the mindlink.

”what ?,I would love to do those things to you when I get home, I’m gonna make you scream my name babe”. he said throu-gh the link, and before she could hurl another insult at him, he brou-ght his wall back up, thereby blocking her out.
“alpha”. his beta mindlinked him, sounding urgent.
“what’s it”.
“something happened alpha”.
“speak jayden”. he growled.
“someone broke into the building”. he said, and damien nee-ds no one to tell him which it was.
“who dares that, and what about the guards”. he yelled in anger.
“they were knocked out with wolf’s bane, and right now, they’re all in the pack clinic”.
“I’ll be at the building”. he replied, cutting off the link.
“who could have dared to do this, this means his secret is about to be revealed, no, I’ll find her and I wouldn’t spare the person who dares to go against my orders, they would pay for this treachery”. he growled as he broke into a run, heading towards the building.

“alpha”. his beta and gamma said, bowing their heads and they were the only ones here.
“what happened here jayden, I trusted those wolves could guard here very well, now what’s this nons-en-se I’m hearing”. he yelled in anger as he felt the urge to spill some blood and it was the blood of the person responsible for this.
“alpha, they were knocked out with wolf’s bane, clearly the person had it all planned out”. Jacy, his gamma said.
“did they see the face of this person”.
“no alpha, she was putting on a mask, and she had masked her scent, so they couldn’t tell who she was”.

“yes alpha, a woman”. jacy said.
“alpha, this lady knows what she c@m£ here for, she took the prisoner”. jayden said.
“I know jayden, whoever did this must be in this pack, because only the pack members knows about this place and it’s prohibited, now someone has decided to challenge me by going against my orders”. he growled.
“jayden, jacy”.
“yes alpha”. they replied.
“search every pack house and find me the prisoner, because if the person who did this is from this pack, they must be here somewhere, bring her to me alive, I would punish her and make her an example to others, so that no one, no one would dare to go against me again”.he said, his voice laced with the authority of an alpha.
“yes alpha”. they bowed.
“who could this person be, do they know about my secret, a secret I’ve been hiding for years, I must find and kill this woman, whoever she may be”. he thought.

damien walked in feeling very angry, and just as he had predicted, Linda sat in the living room waiting for him.
seeing his beautiful mate helped calm him down, he didn’t want her to know something was wrong as he had always kept this a secret.
“hey”. she said, getting up to hvg him.
“hey”. he gr-unted, burying his face at the crook of her n£¢k, taking in her scent.
“ahhh”. he sighed in satisfaction, just what he nee-ded to keep calm.
“are you alright babe”. she said, still hvgging him.
“yea, i am”.
”you know i literally felt your distress in waves before”. she said.
“no, it’s nothing to worry about love, I’ll go take a shower and come down for dinner”. he replied, placing a k!sson her forehead before heading to their be-droom.
Linda watched him leave, she knew he wasn’t ok, he probably didn’t want her knowing about it.
hmm, if only she knew she’s found the truth even if not all.
“what are you hiding damien”.?She whispered.
“linda”. megan called in her head.
“yes megan, what’s it”.
“linda, I’m getting a bad feeling, there’s a great storm coming, something terrible is about to happen, I can feel it”. she whispered in fear.
linda has never seen her wolf this way before, what is megan talking about.
“what, megan, i don’t un-derstand”. she said but got no response from her wolf.
“megan”. *no response*
”megan plea-se talk to me”. *no response*
“Megan plea-se, I don’t get what you’re saying, tell me more”. *no response*
“darn it, now she’s getting me really scared”. she muttered, taking a seat.
*i better ask Clara how the lady is fairing* she said as she mindlinked Clara.
“Clara, what happened,i didn’t get any reply from you”.
“I’m so sorry luna, i got caught up in what I was doing, she’s awake and she’s demanding to see you”.
“i don’t know Clara, Damien’s found that she’s missing and now i can’t tell what’s going to happen”.
“luna, it’s alright, I’ll keep her safe”.
“thanks Clara, I’ll find a way to come see her, but for the meantime, plea-se stay safe, both of you”.
“yes luna”. c@m£ her reply as she cut off the link.
“everything will come to light soon, I’ll find out who that lady is,and why she was being held”.

“gwen plea-se hurry up”. lily yelled from downstairs.
gwen nee-ded to see her friend in the human town and the alpha wouldn’t want her going alone, although it wasn’t easy convincing him, but then, gwen must have worked her charms on him ?, funny how they are getting along so well and the alpha is certainly a different person ever since she arrived.
“lily”. grace called, nudging her arm and snapping her out of her thought.
“what’s it grace”.
“look”. she said and Lily followed her gaze, that was when she saw her.
“wow”. they both whispered as they stared at gwen, she looked freaking h0t in the bright sunny yellow dress she wore, it was an armless dress and it was just above her knees, she had on matching yellow heels, she had curled her long dark hair and it bounced as she walked, she applied no make up, except for the l!pgloss, she had also put on some weight and truly, she looked beautiful, just like a goddess.
“lily, grace, you can st©p staring now”. she smiled.
“gwen, you look ravishing”. grace complimented.
“yea grace, I bet the alpha wouldn’t be able to keep his eyes off her”. lily said, causing gwen cheeks to glow a bright shade of pink.

“yea right, no kidding”. gwen said as they all went outside to the supposed to be parking lot where lance, asher and leo stood waiting for them.
“wow”. asher said, staring at gwen with admiration.
“you know asher, if you don’t look away right now, I’ll pluck out those eyes of yours”. grace said and they all laughed.
lance walked towards gwen, taking her hands in his while lily and grace went to their mates.
“you know love,you truly look beautiful, just like a goddess”. he said and gwen blu-shed.
“thanks”. she replied shyly.
“hmm, as much as I hate you leaving the pack, I still have to let you go”. he whined, pouting his plump pinkl-ips.
“??,Lance”. gwen laughed.
“I’ll be alright ok, and besides, grace and Lily will be there with me”.she said, giving his cheeks a little pinch, she had no idea where the boldness even c@m£ from.
“come home soon ok”. he said, he was alre-ady missing her even when she was still there.

“of course I am”. he replied with all seriousness.

“lily, grace,plea-se start the car”. she win-ked at them, and they immediately got the signal.
“you got it luna”. they both replied as lily got into the drivers seat, starting the car while grace hopped into the pas-s£nger seat.
“I’m coming, I change my mind”. lance said.
“gosh, i can’t let Lance come, at least not today, i would love to explain it all to emily first before introducing lance”. gwen thought.
“well, I better distract him”.
“lance”. she called sweetly.
“hmm”. he replied, looking at her suspiciously.
“just stay for today, pretty plea-se”. she said, c@r£ss!nghis cheek, slowly she brou-ght her hand down, drawing invisible circles on his che-st.
seriously, she has no idea what she was doing, well, she was just following her instincts.
lance closed his eyes, loving what she was doing, she brou-ght her hand up to his ear, ru-bbing the back of it and lance purred in plea-sure, quic-kly she placed a k!sson his cheek before running off giggling.
she hurried opened the back door of the car and hopped in, while lily zoomed off immediately.
lance stood in shocked seeing she tricked him, he could hear their laughter and he smiled mischievously.
“well pla-yed mate, I’ll punish you when you return”. he sm-irked.
“oh my lance, sorry”. asher mocked and lance turned to glare at him, he also noticed leo had on a mocking smile.
“oh really, this looks funny to you guys”.??.
“of course”. asher replied, laughing seriously.
“seriously lance, you’ve got one hell of a mate”. Leo smiled.
“yea, one hell of a beautiful and S-xy mate”. asher said , causing lance and Leo to glare at him.
“what ?,it’s true”. he defended.
“you know, I still remember what you did the other time”. lance growled.
“oops,I’m outta here”. Asher said as he made to run away, but leo gr@bb£d him immediately, and lance had on an evil sm-irk ?.
“any last words”. he growled ???.
“you sneaky wolf, you betrayed me”. asher yelled, glaring at Leo who in return gave a shrug.
“you’re an idiot”. leo said.
they both heard a low growl and turned to stare at lance who was smiling sheepishly at asher ???.
“I’m so dead”.
