Continue witch, my dad said ignoring the presence of the nurse, she stood there in confusion then left to get the doctor, minutes later, she arrived with the doctor who told my dad to excuse the patient, but dad ignored him and continue questioning step mum, who at this time crying like her life depends on it
Doc, dad called with a very deep and angry voice, with all due respect, your patient won’t die, all I needed is for her to answer my questions and then I will leave her alone.

Henry gathered the whole pictures and we left from the hospital, just before we drove inside the compound, dad stopped the car and get down from the car, he took the items, broke the bottle and brought out his picture and together he set them ablaze
Through out that day, nobody talked about food because the event that took place made each of us to lost our appetite
What a world of evil, for the first time in my life, I wished that step mum had died in that accident instead of loosing just her legsš„¹

Dad phoned a pastor later that evening who came and prayed for us and break every covenant or agreement between step mum and her dibia against us so that it won’t have any effect whatsoever against us
After the Pastor left, there was an absolute silent and quietness every where.
After a long while, dad spoke up…. I am filing for divorce
That send a cold shiver all over me, I was taken aback so was every other person, nobody say anything, sensing the tension, dad said.
The reason why I voiced it out before you all is so that each of you might give your views, suggesting or objections about what I want to do, because I know that you all are adult and are as well entitled to contribute to matters relating to family.
Yet nobody said anything….
Alright then, your silent means that you are conceding and concurring to my decisions right?
Dad, I won’t blame you for that, you are a good man by only giving her divorce papers because as far as I’m concerned, not every man will want to leave her free, some men will not even bother to treat her and pay all her medical bills in such am expensive hospital, some men might even strangle her to death with their bare hands while some will send her to life imprisonment as soon as she’s been discharged from the hospital, honestly I really admire and appreciate your type of person. He paused and wiped his tears, then signed and continues…. Dad you are my hero, my mentor, my ideal man
Yes is true that she is my mum, she carried me for 9months and gave birth to me, I suckled in her bosoms for months but that does not mean that I will support her in her evil ways or ask you to change your mind and give her another chance, many chances has been given to her, I warned her severally like I saw these coming. Dad please go on with the divorce I am her son and I’m in full support of what you are doing,he said finally trying to hold back the tears that’s trying to find its way down to his cheek.
I can’t believe that Henry could agree with dad, any way he made the right choice
Angel interrupted my thought…. Yes dad, I totally agreed with what Henry said, mum stoop so low, she went extra miles in what she deed, what of if she had succeeded, what would have been our fates… I have learnt a bitter lessons from what she deed, I know I took after her in having a mean and wicked heart but today I’m letting go of such heart and I’m breaking any ties linked with evil and wicked heart, Lord please heal my heart, change it to good and make me a better person…. She said sobbing.

Well dad, said Steve… Step mum has always been mean and heartless but I never knew she could be so wicked and black hearted…. I forgive her though but she is not coming back home, he said bluntly
I know it’s my turn to say something, but what should I say now…. Step mum went overboard by what she deed, I can’t imagine my dad been caged by her, my brother dead and I myself running mad in the streets probably naked or with tattered cloth.
She is worst than devil and can bring more havoc if allowed to be part of the family again, her type of person can not be changed because she’s already in a reprobate mind according to the Bible.
Trying to control my tears, I just said dad, I think your decisions are very right and acceptable by you and everyone but
Immediately I said but, every one turned to me in full force I was confused, I hiccup and swallowed hard
I have to say what’s on my mind just like everyone else has said theirs…. I whispered inaudibly to my self
