We both dress up and headed to the hospital we were directed, honestly we got into the ward and was marvelled by what behold our eyes, it was a fatal accident and I doubt if those legs could walk again, it will definitely be amputate by the look of the severe injuries it had.
I’m sorry Henry, I held his shoulder and consoled him, Angie was also in shock as she cried her eyes out sitting on the bed
Stephen held her and consoled her why I tried to console Henry who was not even feeling sorry or touched by the state of her mother, my dad himself had emergency at work and left even before our arrival
What is happening, how can dad abandon his wife in such a state and left for work, and why is Henry in such a hurry to leave the hospital while his mom is in such state
She’s sleeping though when we arrived, because according to Steve, she was Induced with sleeping injection.
I can’t hold my feelings anymore because of what’s going on between the two brothers, including my dad’s absence as well while his wife is in such a state of health
Henry, what’s going on, we should stay for sometime and watch her until she wakes up, forget about what she has done to you and find a place in your heart to forgive her please
He signed and said, if not that dad asked us to wait for him here until he returns, I would have left here ages ago….. Henry said with no remorse or sympathy in his voice
Is that all you have to say, Angel cuts in. No matter what mum did to you, at least her condition is very critical that she demands some forgiveness and sympathy from you, after all she’s your mum, she carried you for nine months, gave birth to you and you sucked her breast, don’t forget that, Angie said to Henry with a cracked voice and swollen eyes
It’s all a waste, I wished there’s something I could do about it, I wish I can change it or be given the opportunity to choose who my mom would be, I swear if I was given the whole thing in the world I won’t chose her rather I will choose not to come into existence than coming from her womb, Henry said coldly
Oh that’s too harsh Lil bros, stop it and don’t use such adjectives again, I said with a scolding voice
Don’t mind her big sis, Angie sharply cuts in
What makes the both of them different then? She said eyeing him badly and hissed, then continue crying again
That’s enough guys, you both should both cut the crap, the deed is been done already, what we should pray for is for her survival and not fighting about an already spilled milk
Every where became quite as Steven urged every one to, he just spoke like dad and indeed he possessed a mighty air of authority
It’s been an hour plus now that I and Angie had arrived to the hospital and dad is not forth coming….. Every where is now boring because Steve and Henry left the ward for some fresh air
About 30mints letter, I had dad’s voice conversing with the doctor as they walked towards the ward…. They came in and Henry and Steve followed silently behind
The doctor announced that they will be taking step mum to the theatre to amputate her two legs
It was so sad, Angie cried the more, I also cried while dad, Steve and Henry stood silently with a stone face
Finally she was wheeled to the theater and for the surgery
What’s really happening dad, you don’t feel a thing for mum, so does Henry and Steve, why are you three showing little or no concern at all for what she is passing through,. Please I suggest that you should find place in your heart to forgive her
What are you trying to insinuate darling? I wouldn’t had been here in the first place if I don’t care, I am paying all the bills myself and you know pretty well that is not a chicken change he said trying to cover up
But dad, you know what I’m talking about…. I was still talking when he cuts in furiously
Would it have been better that you or any of us are in this condition or dead?
No dad, but at least she’s still family
No she is not family, wait until after successful surgery, then she seizes to be my family, this is the last favor I’m doing to her in her entire life ever again
Please dad, forgive my mom, Angel said crying.
Yes dad, every one deserves a second chance I cuts in
Yah, my daughters, we have given her much more than second chances but this one is final, your mom is evil and her evil has caught up with her….. He said and walked out excusing himself

What is actually happening, did step mum did or tried to do something terrible that landed her into this mess? Why is dad and his sons so cold hearted towards her situation, I pondered about in my worried mind
I have no option than to keep quiet and watch, one thing I’m certain about is that nothing is ever and eternally hidden forever, I know soon enough everything will unveil itself and the reasons behind their cold hearted towards step mum will be revealed.
I held Angies hands and prayed silently in my heart for her mums successful surger
After about 2hours, the doctors came out from the theater all sweaty and looking exhausted, wearing a very narrow Smile, he approached my dad and shook him, congratulations sir, your wife’s legs has been amputate successfully.
Thank you doc, dad said, shaking him, can I see her, he added.
Of course, replied the doc as he removed his stethoscope and walk towards his office.
Just then she was wheeled in a a stretcher to another room and we followed suit, we got into the room as the nurses lay her on a bed, and gave us some minutes to converse with her after which she would return to inject her.
She left and shut the door behind her.
Dad moved very close to her, and asked Henry to get some stuff which he reluctantly brought out from a bag which he has been carrying all along since my arrival to the hospital, he handed it over to dad who signed before bringing it out
Oh my gosh, I marvelled and shivered at the same time, Angel clinched to me, while Henry and Steve stared like they already know about all those things
The items were five different horrible items, they are all scary and an eye saw
The first was an empty bottle of schnapp and inside of it was dad’s picture with red tiny substances like alligator pepper
The second was my picture, pinned with the smallest nail and also marked with red marker with a date written on it, and at the back was written, everlasting madness Stacy!
The third was my brothers picture, also marked with red marker and at the back was written death on a certain date
The fourth and fifth was Henrys picture and that of Angel written, love them forever beloved husband
Seeing all these, sincerely speaking, I peed in my panties out of freight …. And Angie is crying and standing far away as possible from her mother
With a voice like that of thunder, my dad screamed, woman! I demand some explanations right now!!!
