CHAPTER 2
As soon as they got home,Lisa went upstairs into her room. She pu-ll off the trou-ser and the t©p,, she sat on the be-d thinking of what to do,what the hell is she going to re-ad?? She really have interest in the school,if not,she will just ignore it.
Nevertheless, she tried to re-ad her old school text,she knew some basic t©pics in each subject which is likely to come out,,even though she dislike re-ading, she still studied.
Maybe she can still pas-s,,,after studying for some hours, she gave up and walked out of the room. She went downstairs and entered the kitchen to get something to eat,she checked the time and g@sped
” What?? 6:30pm?? Did I study for that long??? ” she shook her head
She opened the freezer and brou-ght out some snacks
She walked back to the sitting room as she eat,,she turn on the TV and started watching the random programs,,, and then the school c@m£ on.
They were advertising the school,,GOLDEN HIGH and a picture c@m£ up. She immediately remember him,he was the one a teacher was talking to, his name is Michel. He looks so handsome in the school uniform,,his smile c@m£ up and she almost blu-shed like he was smiling at her.
” Am sure some people will wanna attend this school just because of him,he’s so handsome ” A voice said behind her
Yeah he’s handsome but a trouble maker,she thought.
” Sis,you’re back ” Lisa stood up and hvgged her
” So,,,how did you see the school. Am sure you love it ” Anna said and she nodded
” Yeah,am going to write the test tomorrow. I wish I pas-s ” Lisa said with a sigh
” Of course you will ” Anna said and pat her hair
Anna went upstairs looking tired ,,Lisa suddenly pity her. Soon she will be leaving her ,,how will she cope alone?? But she still have to leave anyway,she just hope she will be fine..
…………Next Day
She got down from the car and walked into the school, she was able to see the picture in front of the large beautiful,, it’s the same guy,Michel,but in this one,another girl was beside him. She’s also beautiful and she wonder maybe she’s there because she’s pretty or because she’s brilliant. She ignored it and walked in. A lot of students were there alre-ady ,,she have to wait for some minutes before it got to her turn.
They called 6 of them at the same time and they all went in,,they were given the text and a seat for each one of them,just on a system.
Minutes later ,they were done
” You can go out,,you will be seeing the result In the next one hour,,the pas-s mark is 70% so if your mark is less ,,,no admission. If you get 70% and above,,come back to this office.
Lisa sighed and walked out of the way office,,she have never experienced any stress like this before getting admission into any high school, why is this one so different??
She carried her bag and decided to take a walk round the school,, she continue walking and was amazed by the school building.
” So large and beautiful ” She said inwardly
She heard some voices getting close to her and she looked up,,
” Oh ” She g@sped
It’s the guy,,Michel talking with another female student, she suddenly recognize the girl. Her picture was also pasted at the entrance of the school with Michel beside her,
” Wow,,,it’s the two ” She said watching them as they chat and walked beside her,they didn’t notice her because they were really talking about something serious. They pas-sed but she still turned and stared.
” I love the uniform ” She smiled still starring at the girl,,she look really beautiful and she suddenly wonder if the students are in this school because of their cuteness or brilliancies. She find a bench beside her and she sat down,she brou-ght out a chocolate from her bag and started munching on it while waiting for one hour
” This is so boring ” She sighed and just then she felt a pres£nce beside her,she flin-ched and turned to the person sitting beside her
” Who are you??” She asked and the student faced her,,,she g@sped immediately
” Oh my,,,,,” She kept quiet without completing her s£ntence
The guy beside her look so h0t,,she can’t even decided who is more handsome between this guy and Michel, just that Michel have a cute face like a female,,he looks younger than the one sitting beside her.
” Am I that handsome?? ” The boy asked
She cleared her throat and looked away
” You’re a new student?? ” He asked
” Yeah,,the result will be out in the next one hour” She replied like the cool girl she is
” It’s less than 30 minutes now ” he said
” Oh,,,,,”
” Are you sure you’re going to pas-s?? How sure are you?? ” The boy asked facing the other side
” Am not so sure,,but I hope I pas-s,,,” She sighed
” What’s your name??”
” Mona Lisa ” She answered.
” Yours?? ” She asked
” I will tell you after you see the result ” He sm-irked
” Oh,,okay ”
They both sat down talking about some random stuffs,She really enjoyed his company because she keep on smiling at every word
” I think it’s the result ” She suddenly said when she heard her phone ma-king a sound
” Check ”
” I can’t,,,check for me. Am so nervous ” She said and gave him the phone
He took it from her and breath out,,,,
” Pas-s??” Lisa asked but he kept quiet
” What’s the pas-s mark??” He asked
” 70% ” She replied
” Pas-s??” She asked again
” Fail??” She asked
” Hi,,,am Rowan ” The boy said bringing out his hand for a shake
” Does that mean I pas-sed??” She asked immediately
” You got 75% ,,,that was just pas-s ” He smiled
” Wow,,am happy ”
” You should try ha-rder,,I got 88% when I got admitted here ” Rowan said
” Wow,,you’re so brilliant ” Lisa shouted
” No,,,there was someone who once got 99% ” He said with a little smile which faded immediately
” Who’s the person?? ” she asked
” You should know by Now,am leaving, I have a clas-s. See you tomorrow ” He said and walked away
She started walking back to the office but at the same time thinking about who got 99% out of 100%
” Did the person cheated or what?? ,,but what does he mean by I should know by now??” She asked herself
” Wait,,is he talking about Michel?? Wow,,he’s the one,,his picture was used as,,,,no,,,maybe it’s the girl. ” She sighed and decided not to think about it.
” Hey Lisa,,,you’ve gotten your result?? ” The girl who introduced herself as Florence the other day asked
” Yeah,,am not really bright,,I got 75% ,,” She said
” Wow,,that’s great,,I got 78% though,am just glad I pas-sed,,I will study better when I finally get admitted ” Florence said
Lisa smiled,,she seem like a nice girl
They both entered the office since they were the last,, the lady inside gave them the admission letter,,
” Come here with either of your parents tomorrow,,, you are starting clas-s tomorrow,, so when coming, you should be re-ady not to step out again ” The lady said with a smile
Lisa and Florence bowed their heads before heading out,,
” Wow,,check the other note,,it include the things we should bring when coming tomorrow,,,, ” Florence said
Lisa turned the notes over and g@sped
” But,,the uniforms and shoes are not included,,, and besides why are dresses included,will there be p@rty or something?? ” Lisa asked and chuckled at her own question
” I don’t know,,, but right now,,mom will be busy at work,,how do I get all these?? ” Florence pouted sadly
” Same with me,,my aunt will be busy,,but we can go together Right?? I just have to withdraw out some cash ” Lisa said
” You’re right,,let’s go,,but to my house first ” Florence said
They both walked out of the school,,Lisa told her driver to go home,,and he left
” I guess we are friends now ” Florence smiled
” Yes of course ” Lisa nodded as they entered Florence car
” Wow,,I can’t believe I won’t be seeing this car for a long period of time,am gonna miss you baby” Florence said hvgging one of the seats
” That’s funny,,” Lisa chuckled
CHAPTER 3
Lisa was asleep in her room when she heard her sister talking downstairs, she quic-kly jumped out of be-d and ran to meet her.
” You’re back ” Lisa said and hvgged her
” were you able to get everything? Or you still want my help??” Ana asked and k!$$£d her cheek
” No sis,,you can come with me to check,,, I bought everything, I told you I went with my new friend right??” Lisa said
” Yeah,,,so,,,,you will be leaving tomorrow?? ”
” Yes sis,,,and you are coming with me ”
” I know,,,so I’ve taken a day off at the office,when I leave your school tomorrow, I will come home and rest ” She replied
” Am missing you alre-ady ” Lisa hvgged her with a pout
” It’s fine,,,this was gonna happen anyway. Have you eaten something?? ”
” I made some toast,,yours is safe ” Lisa win-ked
” Wow,,,I can’t wait to taste that ”
” Come on,,let me show you the stuffs,,but sis,,don’t you think it’s too expensive ???” Lisa said sadly
” If I don’t do these for you,,then who should I do it for?? ”
” I love you so much ” She hvgged her and they started checking and arranging the things inside the boxes ”

They both walked into the reception,they have to wait for their turn,after few hours they were called.
” You can leave now kid,,she will take you to where you will be given your uniforms and shoes ” The receptionist said to Lisa
” Bye baby,,” Her sister hvgged her ti-ghtly
” I will always call you ” Her sister whispered
Lisa tried to calm down so as to prevent the tears which was coming down alre-ady
” Oh Lisa,don’t do this,,,you know I care about you right?? plea-se,,don’t cry ” Anna comforted her
” Bye sis ” Lisa said and walked out of the office with lady who’s taking her to the uniform sto-re
After taking you uniforms which were up to five,, they proceeded to go into the dorm
” The dorm will be shared by two,,that means aside you,another student will be there ”
” It’s cool since it’s going to be the two of us alone ” Lisa replied
Finally they got there and she g@sped
” Wait,,this is it??” She asked
” Of course, you don’t like it??” The lady asked
” Like?? This is absolutely amazing ” Lisa replied
It look so large and beautiful,,it was painted with Pink and White ,,
The lady opened the door to the room,,
” I guess your roommate is in clas-s right now,,,,her name is Sharon,,you will love her ”
” Thank you mam,,” Lisa replied and they both entered. She could see different bags and two wardrobes,, she opened the first one and it was filled up,she opened the second and discovered that it was empty
” I will advice you to leave your stuffs on the floor first,, you can arrange them when school is over,,” The lady beside her said
Wondering how the bags got there?? Throu-gh the help of her sister’s driver,,
” I un-derstand,, I will just put on my uniform ” Lisa said softly
The lady nodded and she walked out of the dressing room to give Lisa some privacy.
She immediately dressed up ,,put on her socks and then the snickers,,
She arranged her hair neatly and checked the mirror
” I guess it look good on me ” She smiled before going back into the room
” You look beautiful ”
” Thank you ” Lisa replied and carried her bag
” Your texts and notes,with your l@pt©p is in your locker,,so here is the key. Only you have access to it ” The lady gave her the key ,,her number was written on it
Number 005 ,,she immediately cram it
After walking for about 5 minutes,,they finally got to the main school building
” This is your clas-s,,grade 5B ” She said and entered the clas-s telling Lisa to follow her.
The teacher st©pped immediately they entered, the students also were murmuring among themselves,, Lisa immediately felt shy ,she buried her face to the ground.
” Bye new bae ” The lady said with a smile and walked out of the clas-s
” So,,can you introduce yourself to the clas-s ??” The English teacher said
Yeah,,English was written boldly on the white board
” Am,,Lisa ” She said softly
” Just Lisa??” The teacher asked
” Mona Lisa ” Lisa added
” Well you’re welcome,, I guess you’re the last student in this clas-s,,only one locker is empty so I think it’s yours ” The teacher said pointing at the locker just at the middle of the clas-s
” Thank you mam ” She said silently and walked to her seat
She sat down and noticed some ha-rd stares at her back,, she hated attention oh Lord.
” Now,,,back to our lesson ” The teacher said and the clas-s bec@m£ Silent again.

” Gosh finally ” Most students said
The electric bell just jingled,,after having five clas-ses without break.
The maths teacher walked out and the students doesn’t waste time before rushing out of the clas-s,,
” What is happening now??” Lisa asked the girl beside her
” It’s lunch time,,I guess you’re not hungry ” She snapped and walked out
” she’s rude ” Lisa muttered and sighed
She didn’t even see neither Michel or Rowan,maybe they are not in the same clas-s,,,,maybe
But just as she was thinking about that Rowan c@m£ in looking angry,,and then Michel followed,also looking angry,,why are they both angry??
She thought within herself,,, she watched as they both walked to different seats ,what’s wrong??
” Hey,,you didn’t even try to look for me,that’s bad you know?? ” Someone said sitting beside her
She turned and smiled,,
” Florence,, am sorry okay” She said
” It’s fine,,but you are not going to eat??” Florence asked
” Am not hungry ” She replied
” Come on,,it’s our money right?? ” Florence joked
” Am not really hungry ”
” So,,,where is your dorm?? And who’s your roommate?? ” Florence asked
” I’ve not seen her yet,,but I heard her name is Sharon ” Lisa replied
” Well,,I’ve seen mine. But she’s rude,,I don’t like her ” Florence said and hissed
” I hope mine is not like that,, I don’t like trouble” Lisa said
” Did you see those two guys who walked in just now??” Florence asked with a flu-shed face
Lisa knew she was talking about Michel and Rowan
” What about them??” She asked
” Are you kidding me ?? They are h0t!!” She screamed silently
” Shut up Florence,,,” Lisa snapped.
” I was only ,,,anyway,,,,” she was interrupted by a girl who walked in
” Hi,,,am Juliet ” The girl smiled
” Where’s your Romeo??” Florence asked and she laughed
” He got lost, ” Juliet replied
” Am Lisa,, and she’s Florence ” Lisa said
” Well,,,I will be the one to show you two round the school,,,I hope we get along well ” She smiled
Lisa liked her alre-ady,,she seem nice
” Right now??” Florence asked
” Sure,,let’s go have fun ”
They all walked out of the clas-s,,

” Wow,,this school is amazing ” Lisa finally said after walking round the school telling them everything about the school,libr@ry, and labs
” So,,,that’s all ” Juliet concluded
” Thank you,, but,,,can you plea-se tell us about the students also??” Lisa asked curiously
” It’s nothing,,,, but ,,you saw the large picture at the entrance of the school right??” Juliet asked.
” Yes” Lisa and Florence answered at the same time
” That’s Michel and Vanessa,,, Michel is most brilliant male student while Vanessa is the most brilliant female student. But when you want to compare,,Vanessa is really nothing beside Michael,, so Michel is the most brilliant in Golden High. He’s also the h0ttest,,but many students doesn’t seem to know who’s more handsome between him and Rowan,they are both h0t. But ,,,,”
” But what??” Lisa asked.
” They are rivals,,,, they hate each other so much that even the teachers are fed up,,They always fight anywhere they meet each other,,, they are both good in soccer,,but in the end,they will always fight,, nob©dy knows the reason why they are like that ” Juliet sighed
” That’s bad,,,,,” Florence said while Lisa kept quiet
” Let’s go back to clas-s,,three more clas-ses and we are done,,” Juliet said and they all walked back to the clas-s.
