“Let me go Reuben!! I want to see my daughter!! What did you do to her!” Beatrice forcefully removed her hand from Reuben’s grip.
“That daughter of yours is a slút! How dare she ruin our reputation this way” Reuben shouted angrily.
“Huh?” Beatrice furrowed her brows.
Reuben brou-ght out his phone and played the video sent to him. Beatrice eyes wide-ned, she could recognize the boy as the vendor at the jewelry sto-re.
“Who knows how many boys she has slept with!!” Reuben shouted angrily.
“My daughter isn’t like that..” Beatrice said.
“Beside I don’t see what’s wrong if she has a thing for this boy. She’s going to be 18 in few months from now, she’s not longer a kid…” Beatrice said.
“What!! You mean you support her in having a relationship with a commoner!!” Reuben shouted.
His vein was already standing out due to so much shouting.
“Yes, I’ve seen the boy before and he’s very polite and good-”
Reuben chuckled suddenly
“Now I understand where our daughter gets this slútty attitude from.. It’s obviously from you!” Reuben said and what followed next was a loud slap.
He touched his cheek and looked up at Beatrice who was glaring at him.
Well their marriage was never a marriage out of love.. They had a one night stand in a club and that resulted to her being pregnant
As such, both their parents forced them to get married. Reuben kept saying Arianna wasn’t his daughter but the DNA results proved it all thereby pinning him down in this marriage.
“I’ve been tolerating enough of your sh*ts for too long. You wanted to raise Arianna fine, I allowed you do whatever you want with her… But don’t you dare call me or my daughter a slüt ever again!! Remember, you’re where you are right now because of me!! I did things I’ll never imagine myself doing because of you!!” Beatrice said angrily, pointing her index finger at him.
She glared at him before moving to the exit of their room.
Just then, a maid ran in their room with a fearful look on her face..
“Ma’am,, it’s…it’s Arianna.. She harmed herself!!” The maid stuttered.
“What!!” Beatrice exclaimed and ran out of the room.
The maid followed back. Reuben watched them as they left.
“I’ll put you back in your place Beatrice,, just you wait and see” He muttered and left the mansion
Beatrice barged inside Arianna’s room and a gasp escaped her li-ps when she saw her lying on her own pool of blood.
“Arianna!! No!! Call the ambulance hurry!!” She shouted and the maid ran off to do so.
The other maids began gathering and gasps escaped their li-ps at what they saw..
Beatrice rushed to Arianna and lifted her up. She checked her pulse and it was beating faintly..
“Hang in there Ari… I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.. I’m the worst mother ever!! Please don’t leave me,, please..” Beatrice began crying.
A guard came in to help her carry Arianna. He carried her in a bridal style and they both rushed out of the house to the ambulance waiting outside..

REMI’S HOSPITAL**
Beatrice kept running behind the nurse who were pushing the stretcher toward the emergency room.
???? That’s the first lady!!
???? What’s happening? She has blood stains on her dress.
???? fuc-k !! Is that her daughter??
???? What’s happening!!
“Ma’am, you can’t go further” The nurse stopped her.
“Please save my daughter… Please” Beatrice kept crying.
“We’ll do our best” The nurse said and went in.
Beatrice sat down on one of the chairs beside her as she cried her eyes out, silently praying for her daughter to be safe..
An hour pa-ssed, yet no results. She stood up impatiently and made to enter the room but the doctors came out at once.
“How’s Anna… How’s my daughter??” Beatrice immediately asked.
“Well if she was brou-ght here a minute late, we could have lost her coz she lost almost all the blood in her. She’s currently been transfused with blood and the cuts have been taken care of. We’ll transfer her to her ward in few minutes from now” The doctor sad.
Beatrice heaved out a sigh of relief..
“Thanks so much doc”
“It’s a honor serving you, first lady” he bowed respectfully before leaving.
Beatrice sat back on the chair, feeling so relieved..

MORNING, STAR BRIGHT ACADEMY**
“What!!”
“Yes, check out the news.. The first lady and Arianna were both spotted at a hospital with a bleeding Arianna..” Linda said.
The topic has become the talk of the town as people kept wondering what happened..
“I’ll call aunt Beatrice. Her and mom are friends, she’ll surely know what happened” Dean brou-ght out his phone and made a phone call.
Nathaniel looked beyond shocked at what he was hearing.. He could feel his heart breaking
They waited patiently as Dean spoke on the phone with Beatrice. Once he was throu-gh, he hung and they could see the shocked look on his face..
“So…” Linda muttered worriedly.
“Arianna,,, tried committing suicide” He said slowly.
“What!!!” They all chorused..
“Why? What’s happening!!” Jasmine asked.
“Which hospital is she?” Nathaniel asked calmly, his veins coming out on the side of his forehead
Theodore noticed it and looked up at Nathaniel. Once his veins began showing like this, it means he’s angry.
Nathaniel is someone who rarely gets angry. Since Theodore and him were friends, he saw him angry just once and truth be told that side of him looks really scary and it’s a side of him he never wants to be on the receiving end.
He got angry at a guy who bullied his mother and out of anger, he beat the guy till a point that the guy became blind on one eye for life.
“She’s at Remi’s Hospital.. It’s not far from here” Dean said.
“Okay” He muttered and began leaving.
“I’ll follow him” Theodore said and went after Nathaniel.
“I’ll tag along with them” Dean said.
“Let’s go” Lance said to Cole and Jasmine.
“Looks like there’s no school for us today.. I’ll go look for Gianna and we’ll go” Linda said and left to look for Gianna.
She walked in their blog and she furrowed her brows when she saw her talking with Amber and Julia..
“I thought you said it won’t hurt anyone!! What I’m I hearing that Arianna is in the hospital.” Gianna said angrily.
“What? I never knew her father will go till that extend” Amber shrugged.
“Well it’s even better,, right?” Julia smirked.
“No!! It’s not!! I just wanted to make something that’ll make her stay away from Nathaniel. I didn’t want something that’ll harm her” Gianna snapped.
“Do I look like I care?” Amber rolled her eyes and Gianna gasped.
“What did you do?”
Gianna’s eyes wide-ned and she turned to see Linda behind them with a furious look on her face.
“Linda?” She muttered but Linda ignored her and went straight to Amber.
“What did you do to Arianna!!” She grabbed Amber by the collar
“I’m just getting started with her” Amber laughed.
Linda punched her really ha-rd and she fell on the floor, loosing consciousness immediately.
“Are you gonna talk?” Linda looked at Julia.
Julia out of fear began saying everything without leaving out details.
“Bastard!!” Linda punched her too and she went down with Amber.
She now turned to Gianna..
“Lin-”
Linda slapped her really ha-rd on the cheek before she could say anything more..
“How could you!! All because of a guy who feels nothing for you!! How can you stoop so low!! It’s all your fault!!” Linda shouted angrily.
Right now, she felt hurt, angry and really disappointed in her best friend.
“I never wanted things to end this way.. I just wanted her and Nathaniel apart” Gianna said, already in tears.
Linda slapped her again and grabbed her by the hair.
“Ahh!!” She kept wincing as Linda pulled her out the school.
Students began staring at them..

She literally dragged Gianna from school all the way to the hospital. The nurses stared at them as she dragged Gianna to Ariana’s ward.
They stopped in front of the ward. Throu-ghthe window, they could see Arianna sitting on the bed.. Looking so pale as the other swoon around her
She woke up just few minutes ago..
Beatrice left to freshen up and also grab some stuffs for Arianna..
All except Nathaniel who left for the restroom. Probably to calm down before he could face Arianna
She shoved Gianna’s face to the window..
“Look at her!! Look at her very well!! That’s the person that despite all what she did, she still came to you and apologized even though you were partly at fault.. How could you connive with those wítches Gianna!! Do you know because of what you three did, we almost lost her!! Huh?!!” Linda shouted.
“Linda..”
“Don’t call my name!! You already severed the bond we shared all because of what, a guy? Is it her fault that Nathaniel choose her and not you? Why did you do that… Is it how black your heart is??” Linda asked, tears glistening in her eyes..
“I’m sorry” Gianna cried..
“Leave..” Linda said and looked away.
“Lin-”
“Just leave… Gianna” Linda cut her off.
Gianna turned to leave in tears and she saw Nathaniel standing in front of her, glaring at her.
“Nathan..” She called.
“I’m so disappointed in you Gianna” He muttered and walked pas-sher.
Gianna looked back and cried as she exited the hospital.
Nathaniel walked in the ward and all eyes turned to him.
“Can you give us some privacy,, please?” Nathaniel said calmly.
They all nodded and exited the ward. Theodore stopped to pat his back.
“Don’t be too harsh on her Nat,, it’s her dad’s fault” He muttered before leaving.
Well Arianna finally opened up to them, telling them what she has been going throu-gh.
Arianna stared at Nathaniel who slowly walked towards her. Another bag of blood was being infused in her.
Nathaniel sat down next to her and looked at the bruises on her face. He raised his hand and brushed his hand on the bruises.
“Does it hurts?” He asked.
“Not that much” She muttered.
“Hmm” Nathaniel nodded.
“Nathan,, I.. I’m sorry” She said and looked down.
She knows he’s màd at her but he’s just trying to keep it in
“Sorry for what exactly? Are you sorry for the fact that you failed to your words? Are you sorry for the fact that you almost took your life away? Or are you sorry you almost shattered me? Which one are you sorry for?” Nathaniel said coldly.
Arianna took in her li-ps.
“I was just tired of living a life where my own father treats me like I’m an object.. I couldn’t take it anymore” Arianna said, fighting back her tears
“Why don’t you just report that anímal you call father!! This is clearly abuse!! Just report him to the police!?” Nathaniel raised his tone.
“He’s my dad Arianna,, despite all that I still love him. I can’t do that” Arianna cried.
“So taking your life would have been the best decision huh!! Even if you did it, I’m not sure it’ll change anything. All he’ll do is organize a grand burial for you and then the next day he’ll continue his life like nothing happen. Is he really worth taking your life for?!!” Nathaniel shouted this time..
“What about those who care about you huh? What about your mother, what about your friends, fans, cla-ssmates… What about me?! You were just going to leave us behind because of one foolísh being you call father!!” Nathaniel shouted, fighting back his tears.
Arianna kept weeping more. She has never seen him raise his tone, talk more of raising his tone on her.
“Have you ever thought how I’ll feel? Or I’m I that insignificant that you don’t care about how I feel?” He said.
He took her hand and placed it on his chest.
“This heart here was just at the verge of breaking into million pieces but you didn’t care at all when you tried taking your life.. Your life doesn’t revolve round your father you know that?? There are many other people who love you. You mom loves you,, our friends loves… I love you” Nathaniel said.
“I don’t even know what you did to me but the first day I saw you, my heart swoon completely for you. I thought it was just a crush, that it’s normal and it’ll pas-sbut at each pa-ssing day I find myself sinking dee-per and dee-per into feelings I never knew existed.” Nathaniel said.
“I knowing you loving me back will be too much to ask so I’ll beg you to please, never pull this stunt again.. Please?” Nathaniel said.
He released her hand and stood to leave. Arianna cleaned her tears.
“Natha-”
Arianna paused when the door swung open and her eyes wide-ned when Nathaniel came face to face with Reuben.
