I saw Nicole injected my apples with something i don’t even know, she took the tray to girl’s room, my heart was beating fast-er i just hope she won’t give Delphine or any other person. I quickly turn to leave but someone dragged me back and push me to the ground.
“why are you always ahead of me when it comes to Delphine, you’ve always pretend to be so romantic and helpful to her, Milton shouted at me.
“because you don’t deserves her love, and because am much better than you, you’re nothing but a weakling,” i yelled so annoyed i just felt like slapping him but i have already promise Delphine never to fight with him again, i quickly stood up and turn to leave in order to save whoever Nicole is about to give the two apples she injected something into.
“let me go,”
i yelled at him then turn to leave but he dragged me back and punch me on my nose. Gosh! this pains a lot i touched my nose and i discovered i was already bleeding , i was so angry but i still have to hurry up to stop Nicole from giving anyone that apple, i turn to leave in haste but Milton dragged me back again and slapped me so hard, i fall to the ground hitting my head on a stone, this time i was so dizzy, the wind was blowing so heavy and it began to rain heavily.
“stay away from Delphine because i will do anything to protect her from you. son of a bitc-h! he yelled then left me their. I was still lying on th floor while the heavy rainfall poured on me mercilessly. The only thing i could uttered was Delphine’s name because i felt something might be wrong with her. After like ten minutes i managed to stood up and left, i saw some people crying while i saw Amy already dressed to go somewhere.
“where’s Delphine? that was the first thing i asked.
“she taken to the hospital, she lose a lot of blood, she was bleeding throu-ghher mouth and nose,” Amy said in tears.
Tears ran down my cheeks, my head was really aching i quickly left and went in search of Nicole.
“why? how could you? why will you try to kill Delphine,” i yelled at her, i grabbed her by the arm and pushed her to the wall.
“because i hate Delphine,” she yelled back at me.
“really! then i will press charges against you, you will pay for this,” i yelled at her.
“you can’t do that to me…” she cough then pushed my hand away from hers.
“if you dare try i will say you order me to do that because you hate her mom so you will want her death, we are into this Clark, you’ve already accept to work with me, if i said that i have people to back me up and you will also get involved,” she said smiling.
“you can’t threaten me, but believe me Nicole you will pay for this if anything bad should happen to Delphine, i will tell the whole world who you are, just pray she survives,” i yelled then punch her on the face and pushed her down on the ground.
Clark quickly hurried to the hospital because Amy has told him earlier where they’ve been to.
“she has lost a lot of blood and thank goodness we were able to stop her form bleeding now, she’s poison and the poison seems so dangerous, this might caused death,” the doctor said.
“we need a donor someone who will denote blood for her urgently,” the doctor said.
“i will doctor, am a universal donor, just take my blood am ready to save Delphine,” Clark said while Milton was surprise to see him.
“you poison her, you gave her those apples,” Milton yelled at him while Clark just kept quiet after all he caused it if only he shouldn’t have fought me this wouldn’t have happen to Delphine,” He thought.
“calm down, just decide and don’t take too long because we might lose her, the poison is very dangerous and has harmed her a lot, when the doctor said that tears drop from my Clark eyes but he quickly wipe it away. Three of nurses ran to her room and one came to inform the doctor that Delphine is still bleeding throu-ghher mouth and nose.
“you need yo be fast,
the patient need blood transfusion,” the doctor said again then left us in a haste.
“why? why are you so concerned about her, she’s my girlfriend, not yours,” Milton yelled at Clark.
“yes Milton but i love her, i love Delphine so much, even more than myself, i have always love Delphine right from the first day i saw her,” Clark yelled at him.
“am not surprise cos i’ve already know that de-ep down my heart, you might love Delphine but you can never have her,” Milton yelled back but Clark was just quiet hearing that.
The doctor quickly rushed to us and ask about the donor.
“Doctor since am not having same blood group with her i will just call her mom and brother to come here,” Milton said.
“that will take time, we need this urgently, the patient might die,” the doctor yelled at us.
“okay doctor am universal donor we need to do this,” Clark said while Milton just looked at him fuming in anger.
”the nurse will take a sample of your blood for screening,” the doctor said as he called one of the nurse and directed Clark to follow him.
“After that Clark came out from the room while the blood was rushed to Delphine’s room. I sat down on a bench and felt so angry with myself for not saving Delphine on time. Just then Livvy, Delphine’s mom and David entered.
“where’s Delphine? Livvy asked in tears.
“no one is allow to see her for now the doctor said she’s in a critical condition, Milton explained to them.
“please don’t let anything bad happen to my sister, she’s all i’ve got,” David said with teary eyes.
the doctor came out with a sad face then he looked at Livvy.
“are you her mother? he asked her.
“yes doctor,” Livvy replied in tears.
“she’s in a critical condition, she has lose so much blood, the poison given to her was very dangerous, we are scared this poison might destroy or weaken her cells or probably destroy a lot in her body system,” the doctor said while Livvy did nothing but to cry.
“poison!, who did that to my daughter, why will someone have to poison Delphine, what wrong has she done to deserves this,” she said crying.
“poison! please doctor just save Delphine, save my sister,” David begged in tears.
Clark was still seated alone all he could think of was Delphine and no one else. Just then his phone rang and he received the shocked news of his life as he quickly stood up and left…
