“stop it Clark,” i yelled at him then dragged Milton back.
“how could you Delphine, how could you do this to me? Milton yelled at me then left in anger.
I stood their very angry with myself then looked at Clark.
“am sorry Delphine, i shouldn’t have fought with him,” he said.
“it not your fault, but you shouldn’t have fought try that,” i said.
“am sorry,”
“i have to go,” i said while i hurriedly left and meet Milton sitting alone he seems so angry. I need to pull of Clark’s shirt first, i quickly went to the girl’s room to remove it.
“hey Delphine why are you wearing on Clark shirt? Amy asked.
“something came up and he just helped me with it, it nothing don’t take it the other way,” i said then rolled my eyes.
“love! love! love is on the way,” Sarah said looking at me i just glare at her then went to have my shower, i quickly changed into something simple, a top and a bum short then went out to Milton.
“are you still angry with me? am sorry,” i held his hand while he just looked at me saying nothing.
“am sorry, i almost got sting by a bee so Clark just offer to help with his shirt,” i said still holding his hands.
“Delphine do you truly love me,” he asked me which make me surprise.
“yes, of course i do,” i quickly answered while he just stood up.
“we will talk about this later,” he said then left. Why is Milton acting this way, Clark was only trying to help. Gosh! i covered my face with my palms.
? {Clark’s POV}?
The next morning we all went out in sharing things to the poor kids, in some of the villages and slum area, i and Delphine were the one working on this.
“i never knew some people could be this poor,” said Delphine to me.
“Yes Delphine, some are still struggling to survive, well we just have to thank God for for such a golden opportunity,” i said while she just looked at me saying nothing.
After the distributions, we had lunch with the kids and also some of the adults, they were all grateful for our help.
“are you couples,” one of the little girl asked me, Delphine looked at me, she wanted to say something but i quickly speak before she could say anything.
“do we look together? i asked the kid.
“yes, you look so nice,” this time they all replied at once, i just look at Delphine then giggle.
“kids, we are just friends,” she said then glare at me but i just burst out laughing which make Delphine more annoyed.
“you’re so annoying,” she said holding my left ear so tight.
“ouch! that hurt you know,” i fling her hand and ran while she went after me.
OMG i just bumped into someone and i nearly fall down while Delphine also burst out laughing at me.
“that’s serves you right,” she said walking closer to me.
“so sweet, you guys look so good playing,” said Sarah whom i just bumped into.
“we aren’t playing i just want to teach him the lessons of his life, Clark is so annoying atimes,” she pouts while i just smile looking at her.
“you know, i like Clark so much but i never like that Nicole for him, it a good thing they broke up. Well it better the two of you just this way,” Sarah said while i just shrugged.
“whatever, well we have to go, it already getting dark,” Delphine said then hit me so ha-rd on my shoulders.
“ouch! Delphine! i yelled.
“serves you right,” she said while i just smiled.
❇That evening Delphine and i went to the river to catch some fish for dinner together. She seems so perfect in doing that. My eyes caught something on her ne-ck which was a ne-cklace, it looks pretty on her.
“Milton gave you that? i asked while she smiled.
“sure,” she replied.
“am sorry again for everything i have made up my mind not to fight with him again,” i said.
“thank you for that, cos i don’t like seeing you fighting,” she said.
“i caught one, i did,” she shouted as she drop the fish she caught in a basket.
“Weldon fisher woman, you’ve been the doing this alone, you seems so perfect in that so have you been fishing? i asked her while she smiled.
“sure, i and David love fishing, well this will be enough for us and also Milton,” she said picking up the basket.
“Delphine said Milton moving closer to her.
“Delphine, can’t you see Clark just want to destroy our love, he keep on getting close to you each day so i can be angry,” Milton said so angry, he looked at me then smirk.
“Clark i have to go,” Delphine said while Milton held her hand and they left.
“Clark” i heard someone call my name.
“Nicole,” i was surprise to see her.
“i have told you this Delphine doesn’t love you but i can make her love you, if only you side with me,”
she smiled.
“you’re so smart Nicole, so who is your mom, and why did you want to have Delphine’s mother death? i asked her.
“you’ll get to see my mom when we return home after this camp and i thought you also hate Delphine’s mother,” she said.
“yes Nicole, i hate her so much and i don’t ever want to see her with my dad, but then when you told me it was Delphine’s mother my dad was in love with, that hatred melted,” i said looking at her.
“why? she asked so furious.
“because i love Delphine, i can’t hurt her mother, well we’re still in this plan, if hurting her mother means to have Delphine i will do that,” i said to her while she smiled.
“thank you Clark, this will be so easy for me,” she smiled then left. I never knew Nicole could be this evil, i need to find out who her mom is, because even back then when she was my girlfriend i never care to know of any of her family member. I want Nicole to be caught in the act with her mom or whosoever she’s planing this with. I can’t for-ce Delphine to love me cos i have already accept the fact that i can’t be with her again, we are just friends, good friends i will never do anything to hurt someone dare to her.
Who knows if Nicole is also trying to kill my dad, but if she dare try to do that then i will become a murder just to have my revenge and kill her back cos my dad is the only person i’ve throu-ghout my entire life, no lover, no mom, no siblings am just alone. I hate my life,” i yelled to myself as tears
drop down from my eyes.

It was a lovely evening, the series of activities done today wasn’t eventful because i wasn’t with Delphine throu-ghout the whole day, she have been with Milton all day which i felt so sad seeing them together. Being with Delphine is like being in paradise, she’s the reason why i laugh each time am with her. I sat down on a swing bed outside enjoying the cool breeze while some were in the room packing their things in oder, cos we leaving tomorrow, i wish i could also spent the last night here in the camp with Delphine just the way we did in Singapore but hell no, Milton is her watch guard and maybe Delphine won’t also agree to that.
I picked up a small tray beside me, which has two apples on it. I don’t feel like having dinner and i just suggest this to eat then sleep and dream of mom. I just miss dad. I was still lost in my thought when i was surprise when Delphine came and sat down beside me.
“here, thanks for the shirt,” she said holding the shirt in her hand.
“you can have it,” i said.
“no Clark, i hate seeing you and Milton fight and i don’t want to hurt Milton again,” she said while i just nodded and collect my shirt back.
“have some apples i will just drop this in my bag, i don’t want to forget any of my clothes here,” i said then stood up and went in.

❇OMG, the sky is filled up with heavy clouds and lightening while the trees were already bending due to he heavy wind everywhere, i was too scared of this and i quickly went back to the room..
. When Delphine left Nicole saw all that happen and smile to herself, she went and picked up the two apples kept by Clark then inject them with poison meanwhile Clark saw all that happen and was wonder what Nicole might inject in that apple.
“Delphine,” Nicole called out as she went in to the room.
“this for you, from Clark,” she said then gave it to Delphine.
“i forgot the apples outside, well thank you,” Delphine smile then have a bite of the apple, Nicole smiled to herself.
