I was at home still in tears, Milton called me on phone but i refuse picking it up, she lie on her bed staring at ceiling when the door which was David.
“David! I said then sat down wiping away my tears.
“are you still crying. Delphine we need to be strong at least for grandma,” he said while i just fake a smile.
“David the worst of it is that i caught Milton and a girl in bed,”
“you did? He asked very surprise while i just nodded in tears, he pulled me closer to him then hug-ged me.
“i don’t know why Milton will have to turn out that way,” he said patting my back.
I suddenly heard a knock on the door, i just hope is not Milton. David opened the door and i was filled with much anger when i saw the person.
“Milton! I called out while he move closer to hug me but i push him away followed by a slap.
“you’ve betrayed me Milton, i knew you never love me. Am so ashamed of you,” I yelled at him as tears flow down my cheeks.
“am sorry Delphine, it was all temptation and i regret it, but what important is my love for you, i still love Delphine and my condolence,” he said which make me more angry, i pushed him out then close the door and went to back to my room in tears.
“you need to help me talk to your sister, i know she’s hurt but i didn’t plan for any of these to happen” Milton said to David.
“to tell you the truth, you’ve broke your trust, Delphine will never trust you again, you’re just a bad luck and you’ve added more to her pains,” David said then walked back to meet Delphine in her room. Milton smiled to himself then left.

? Delphine’s POV?
I was seated next to my grandma with David by my left, i already told my grandma about what Milton did.
“it a good thing you’ve seen them yourself and glad he didn’t try to hurt you,” grandma said holding my hand.
“i only wish Clark is here with me, it would have been much better, life would have been much easy with him, it already a year and some months and he haven’t showed up,” i said trying to hold back much tears.
“Delphine, Clark has always been the person that truly loves you but then you didn’t show any sign of you being in love with him before he left,” David said and i think he’s right.
“i was so confused then,”
“then you need to be much careful with Milton,” my grandma said while i just nodded. I went back to my room then thought about what happen, i really don’t understand this kind of life.
The next day at school i and Amy walked down to the library, i told her about Milton which she was surprise to hear that.
“this isn’t the Milton i knew, he has changed a lot,” i said as we stopped at the door of the library while i was surprise to see Milton coming towards my direction.
“Delphine, we need to talk,” he said.
“about what Milton? Nothing else to talk with you because i don’t trust you again,” i yelled at him.
“i still love you Delphine and i will do everything to win back,” i heard him say that, my eyes we filled with tears as i walked pas-shim.
.==========A year later?
“i will forever cherish you mom, your memories still remain fresh in
our brain,” i said in a cracking voice as i drop my flower.
It actually one year remembrance of the death of our lovely mom. I,David and grandma usually visit her
at cemetery. This was the day we could never forget.

❇It was such a hectic day at school, i return back home in the evening, i guess David is still at school. I was shocked by what i saw when i went inside the sitting room. Grandma was lying death the floor, she was stab with a knife i quickly ran to her in tears
“grandma who did this to you? I asked in tears as i held her but she wasn’t breathing nor saying anything. I cried and felt like killing myself, i quickly call David to come over.
Our life was a total mess, can i really survived this with my brother, who might be doing this to us,” i cried.

The death of grandma was something i and David can never forget, it left us with a scars that may never go. We badly affected by this, throu-ghour studies, thinking and lots of things, i only had David and Amy by my side and no one else, now i actually believe ha-rd times reveal true friends, Milton was just jerk, i hate him so much even thou he tried his best to plead for my forgiveness but i refuse to accept him even as a friend again, i don’t trust him anyone.
❇Two weeks later.❇
⏭️I was at the sitting room with my family photo album, i fixed my gaze at some of our family picture, my mom, grandma, i felt so useless and i think committing suicide is the only option but when i remembered what my mom always said: Trials and trouble will come but don’t ever leave your brother alone, accept how life goes on you’ll scale throu-gheverything,” that was the only thing that make me moved on with my brother. We have plan to packed out of the house so live in a more secret place so that no one can know about our whereabout again, well am still working ha-rd to get more money, who knows who might be next between me and David. I stared at this picture and cried, my family is finally shattered. Just then the door went open and i was surprise to see Milton, who bashed in and moved closer to me.
“just get out,” i yelled at him as i stood up.
“for how long will you continue to chase me out of here? he asked while i landed a heavy slap on his face.
“okay Delphine. I guess you want me to go the ha-rd way, I’ve i tried enough even when Clark isn’t around, Clark has left you because he’s no longer interested in you, it been a long time he left and he never showed up,” he yelled.
“please Milton, just leave,” i yelled while Milton slapped me back, he pushed me to the ground and slapped me again and again.
“you’ll gonna pay for hurting me this way, you’ve betrayed me Delphine let see who will get hurt,” He yelled at me then ki-ssed me forcefully.
“i love you and i will make you my slave, you will do whatever i asked you to do,” he yelled then to-re my dress.
“let go of me Milton, you’re hurting me,” i yelled in tears

“am taking you home with me, you’ll follow my orders, you’ll be my se-x slave form now henceforth,” he said, he dragged me to the his car and inject me with a drug i don’t even know, i felt so dizzy and my head was seriously aching me, my vision was already blur but i could hear him laughed, i finally close my eyes and i guess he quickly zoomed off..⏭️
