Bethel POV
mark kept ranting about how Rico has been sleeping with different women, i did not want to believe but I saw it, i am really his pet, why will I even believe Rico, he is man whore. he drives the car to a silent street, there wasn’t light or any person.
” are we close?” I asked.
” yes honey” he replied.
” don’t call me that” I said.
” I guess you will be hearing more of them soon” he said and I immediately looked at him.
” I don’t understand what you’re saying mark” I said.
” you will soon” he said. I stayed quiet then search my pocket for my phone, shit!! I left it in the room. I felt mark hand on my thigh and I quickly remove it.
” don’t touch me mark”.
” why sweetheart?” he asked smiling.
” I’m married to your grandson” I said.
” he is cheating” he said again. I kept quiet and Mark stopped the car and I quickly looked at the environment. there was a house, it was an abandoned warehouse.
” what are we doing here?” I asked and looked at him, I felt something pierced my skin and I immediately started becoming dizzy.
” what Did you do to me ma..” I didn’t Finish my word and I blanked out!!.
Rico POV
I feel so exhausted, I didn’t know what happened, one of our big and important client decided not to work with us anymore, my dad is going to kill me if he had found about that, I had to wait for the stupid man, I tried calling bethel but my phone died. it was already 10:30, when I got home, bethel must have slept, I miss her so much, I entered the house which was damn quite, everybody must has slept off, I opened the room down quietly and tiptoe into the room, I turn on the light then looked at the bed. Bethel wasn’t laying on the bed as expected, I entered the bathroom but she wasn’t there, she might be with Jasmine. I came out of the room and walked towards Jasmine room. I knocked on her door severally before it opened showing a very tired and sleepy Jasmine.
” is bethel in?” I asked pointing at her room.
” hm? bethel?” she asked rubbing her eyes.
” yes” I answered.
” no” she said.
” when last did you see her?” I asked now getting worried.
” I guess 5pm or so” she said now looking worried.
” is anything happening to bethel?” she asked.
” no, nevermind” I said. she wasn’t convinced out all, she nodded looking at me suspiciously. I walked to the room again, I checked the closet but she wasn’t there, something caught my attention. her phone, I quickly took it, she wasn’t even having a lock the first thing I saw was a call log, she has been trying to call me for how long but she stopped when the time was exactly 10:02pm.
I became frustrated when I saw the time was 11, where the hell is my bethel. suddenly it struck my head, granddad!! I ran to his room and knocked, grandmother opened the door.
” good evening”.
” good evening” she said then hugged me.
” where is grandfather?” I asked.
” he went out” she said.
” what time?”.I asked and she stood there for a while.
” I think 10″ she said and I suddenly became stunned, he took her away.
” he took her grandma” I said and she became confused.
” took who?” she asked looking so concerned and confused.
” he took bethel grandma, he f**king took her, he wants all the women I get all the women that I have loved, why does he hate me so much”.
” oh my baby” she said before hugging me, I felt tears come out of my eyes, I don’t know were he has took her too.
” I hate him so much” I said sobbing.
” I’m so sorry Rico, but I think you try asking Finn, he is pretty close to your mark” she said and I nodded.
” thank you Grandma” I said. I ran to Finn’s room and opened his door without knocking, the fool was sleeping peacefully on his bed, when my bethel is with a stupid Man. I walked to his bathroom and took a bowl full of water and poured over his body, he jumped out of the bed and I quickly grab his collar of his pj, I started punching him, he kept on screaming in pain, I didn’t stop until I saw blood coming out of his nose and his lips torn.
” where the f**k is my bethel?” I asked and he looked at me confused.
” do I look like bethel’s keeper” he asked and whine in pain trying to wipe the blood off his mouth.
” playing dumb huh?” I asked and intend to grab him again when he said.
” fine fine but don’t touch me again” he said.
” grandfather took her to one of his Abandoned warehouse” he said.
” at where?” I asked.
” 12 streetfold Rd” he said, I angrily gave him one last punch and rushed out of the room.
” you promised” the mother f**ker yelled. I entered my car and zone off!!.
bethel POV.
I slowly opened my eyes and the first thing i felt was pain in my Head. what happened? I asked my myself. I tried to move but could not, I was tied to a chair, almost naked, I was just with my bra and panties. tears roll down my cheeks as I remembered everything that happened, he tricked me and I foolishly fell in his trap, I thought I was smart. the door opened showing mark smiling foolishly as he walked into the room.
” you are awake” he said and walked very close to me.
” what do you want from me ” I asked.
” to f**k you, what else” he asked. he disgust me so much. he brought his lips to mine and kissed me. I bit his lips and spit on his face.

“please mark, I’m sorry” I pleased as tears roll down my cheeks.

Rico POV
I kept driving like a mad man, what if he does something to her before I get there, what if he r*pes her, I will never forgive myself, I swear I’m never going to that company if something happens to my bethel, she is the woman I f*king love, the love of my life, although I haven’t told her yet but I will surely tell her today, i Saw the bastards car, I swear I won’t spear him, I park my car in another place so he won’t see it, I walked quietly close to the warehouse until I saw him walking happily out of the warehouse, I hid quickly so he won’t see me. he entered his car and started it before driving off. this guy suppose to be my grandfather, I wanted him to be nice to us like grandmother, I hate him so much. I walked to the entrance, the old fool couldn’t even lock the door, I opened it and entered, everywhere was Dusty and dirty, I can’t believe my bethel is here inhaling this dust and dirt. I opened different doors leading to different rooms but didn’t find bethel. where is she.
” bethel” I yelled. no reply.
” beth” I yelled again.
bethel POV
” bethel” I heard my name the first time. who was that, I couldn’t even hear my name clearly.
” beth” I heard again. that was Rico, he found me.
” Rico” I yelled back. ” I’m over here” I yelled. I held his heavy footsteps as he kept on walking faster, the door opened showing Rico beautiful face, I tear up immediately I saw him, he quickly ran to hug me and attempt to kiss me but I stopped him.
” please don’t” I said.
” why?” he asked with concern.
” he kissed me Rico, I feel so dirty” I said but Rico kissed immediately I was done talking.
” we will be dirty together” he said and a big smile appeared on my face. Rico untied me and the nausea’s came again this time it came heavily, I saw a bowl and I quickly started throwing up into it. I felt Rico touch my back and held my hair back as I kept vomiting all my food into it.
” what’s wrong?” he asked. what was wrong with me.
” I think it’s the environment, you know the dust and so” I said and he nodded before hugging me to him.
” I won’t leave you, okay” he said, I can’t actually believe I didn’t trust him after everything, I feel like I’m not good enough for him because I betrayed him for believing what mark told me. we walked out of the room, Rico hand was around my waist.
” do you want me to carry you?” he asked.
” no” I said.
” well well well, see who we have here” mark said as he walked in front of us.
” leave us alone mark” I said.
” I would handle it” Rico said and immediately walked to him then began to punch him on his face.
” let’s go Rico” I said but Rico kept beating him up on the floor, I quickly took Rico phone that was on the floor and called the police. after trying to explain where we were to the police. I stopped when I held a gunshot twice, who was shot, I looked at Rico and Mark that was looking at me silently, I didn’t f**king know who was shot. Rico coughed out blood and my eyes widened, Rico was shot twice. Rico manage to hit the gun out of mark hand and the gun ended in front of me.
” take it bethel and shot him” Rico mumbled out. I haven’t held a gun in my life before, I haven’t shot anyone before. I took the gun and points it at mark who was standing.
” seriously Rico, this” he chuckled. ” she can’t even use a gun” he said. I angrily pressed the trigger and it hits him on his right leg, he groaned in pain and I shot him again hitting him on the second leg. mark fell on the floor unable to walk, I ran to Rico who was almost closing his eyes.
” i-i am proud of you bethel” he mumbled smiling. tears kept on falling from my eyes, I’m at fault, what have I done.
” save your strength Rico please” I Said. I heard the sirens and the police started entering into the house, the ambulance was called and it didn’t take time for it to come, Rico was put on a stretcher, and I kept following him, they put him into the ambulance and I entered too, I saw them taking mark out, he needed treatment before they will take him to jail. I sat beside him.
” beth” he called and i quickly looked at him.
” I wa-want to tell you something” he said.
” please save your strength please” I said and he nodded negatively.
” i-i lo-lo” before he could complete his words he stopped breathing. and closed his eyes.
” stop it Rico, you’re joking right, I don’t wanna lose you, I can’t be a widow, I swear if you don’t open your f**king eyes, I won’t let you have s*x with me anymore” I said angrily.
” seriously you want to starve me of s*x?” Rico said and I hit on his arms.
” you almost gave me a heart attack, I guess you would be the widower soon” I Said. he tried to laugh but couldn’t instead he smiled, I could see the pain in his smile
” bethel” he called and i looked at him.
” I love you” he said, he loves me, he loves me, my head kept saying.
” say it again” I said forgetting about his condition.
” I love you” he said again.
” I love you too” I said then quickly kissed him.
