bethel POV
” This is your room, it was Shawn’s room.” Mrs. Jefferson said. I walked into the room with my luggage, Mrs. Jefferson also helped me with some.
” Mrs jeffer–” she cut me short
“I told you before bethel, call me mom, I prefer mom, okay,” she said and I nodded. Rico walked into the room and he groan loudly.
” do we have to stay in the same room??.” he asked and his mom looked at him angrily.
” manners,” she said and Rico entered the bathroom.
” do you need some help with your clothes?.” she asked.
” no thanks,” I said, she nodded her head.
” see you later, I will go and prepare dinner,” she said and left. I arrange my clothes in the wardrobe. Rico came out of the bathroom with his white towel tied around his waist and his wet body, I could see his abs and muscular body, so attractive, I felt like running my hands on his body, he smirk immediately he saw me staring at him.
” you like what you see babe” I looked at him again, he just called me babe, it sounds so good on his lips. his lips?? I looked at his lips so damn red and attractive, he licked his lips sexily I felt like kissing the hell out of it, I quickly snap out of my thought and replaced the lust on my face with a frown.
“I think you should get dressed,” I said
” and why did you say that?” he asked and started coming closer to me, I moved backward.
” you can’t run away from me forever, babe,” he said, I roll my eyes and finally my back hit the wall, he put his right hand right beside my face.
” you seduced me not long ago and you turned me on,” he said, I just kept quiet because if I talk now, I would either die of nervousness or die of him being too sexy. he licked his lips again, why do I feel like kissing him, why?. he still had that smirk on his face. my face was beginning to heat up real hard. he saw I was blushing and he brought his face closer to mine.
” ewwwwwwwwwn” we heard Katherine yell, we turn around and looked at her, an irritating look was plastered on her face.
” where you two morons about to make out??” she asked yelling, she closed the door.
” mom, bethel, and Rico are about to make out” we heard her yell.
” oh, shit” I heard Rico murmur.
” So where were we?” he asked staring at me and putting his hands in the same position.
” We were where when you forgot to lock the door when you were about to seduce someone, like who does that,” I said.
” it wasn’t my fault that I didn’t lock the door,” he said.
” you know what??.”
” what?” I hit his hands off, i could hear him winces in pain before closing the bathroom door.
we ate silently in the dining room, I look at Katherine who was pressing her phone, Ricky was eating silently with his earphone on his ear, and Rico staring at his food as if I wanted to smash it.
” Katherine eats.” mom said.
“I don’t want to eat, you forced me to come for this stupid dinner,” she said looking back at her phone.
” Katherine” dad called.
” but dad”.
“I don’t want to repeat myself,” her dad said, she groan loudly before dropping her phone.
” This is why I always tell mom to not take her on a play date when she was two (2)” Rico said.
” shut the fuck up Rico, can’t you just be quiet like Ricky?” Ricky smiled and Rico rolled his eyes.
” language Katherine,” her mom said.
” can someone please tell Kate that she is insulting a married man,” Rico said and Katherine rolled her eyes. ” Kate?? really??” Katherine questioned.
” do not call me Kate, it reminds me of that old strict man,” she said talking about her grandfather. Rico smirked.
” so you hate him as much as I do?” he asked.
” no, I hate him more than you hate him” Katherine argued.
” no, I hate him more” Rico said. always behaving like children.
” well you are his little sweetheart, remember you are the last grandchild,” Rico said.
” and you are his first grandchild, definitely his heir,” she said.
” can you both stop talking about my dad like that” dad said frowning.
I lay beside Rico who was looking at the ceiling, I switched off the light and then lay down properly. I turn around and looked at Rico who wasn’t sleeping, I sat on the bed and switch the light on.
” what’s wrong?” I asked him, he stare at me but didn’t say anything.
” are you okay?” I asked again
” do I look okay to you?, do you know how it feels like when you find out that your annoying and strict grandfather and cousins are coming to spend two months with you, it is like hell,” he said, I felt sorry for him, I don’t know who this man is but from what I have heard he is like a nightmare
” do you want me to cuddle you?” I asked like I don’t know where that came from. he looked at me before nodding his head. I switch off the light and then went closer to him, he puts his head on my chest and his large hand around my waist.
” don’t worry everything is going to be right” I comforted him touching his touch soft hair. I could feel his soft breath on my neck which means he was already asleep, I closed my eyes and finally fell asleep!!!.
