I scoffed, what does he mean by that… I should be the one not trusting him not the other way round…. He might just be doing things according to my dad’s plan.

“Never mind… Am not interested in helping you” I snapped “Am going to elope with chad anyway” I said in my mind and hissed laying down.

“You sure have alot of explanation to do for your father..make sure you invite your cousin Chad” he said.

“Wait…. Are you going to tell my dad” I asked surprised.

“Yeah… I have to do so first before you do… I can’t risk my plan”

“What plan… Look here, if you like say a thousand words to my dad he would never believe you” I said nervously.

“Let’s watch and see….” he said lying down.

“Fine… I alre-ady agreed to help you gain whatever you want to gain while you end this so called marriage”

I glanced at her… I have no choice than to trust her but I still nee-d to be very careful around her… She doesn’t look too good to me.

“Okey… Deal” I said.

“So… What’s the plan” she asked.

“I nee-d your father’s do¢v-ments, I mean all of them”.

“You know that’s not possible… I can’t get them”

“Look here Andris… This shouldn’t be a difficult thing for you, you are his only child and am sure you know about your father’s dark business right”

“I know about his dark business or whatever you call it but I can’t bring the do¢v-ments to you”

“But you know where they are right”

“Not excately….. My dad has an inner chamber and no one is allowed in, not even my mother when she was alive”.

“Inner chamber??”

Chief Varma has an inner chamber, that’s where all the evidence we nee-d is…

“So where is this inner chamber” I asked.

“Its like an un-derground, you can only access it throu-gh the secret pas-sage in his room”

“Secret pas-sage… It must be very difficult to access” I thought.

“Don’t worry… I would get the do¢v-ments myself”

“So what should I do then” she asked.

“Hmmmm.. Sasha.. I nee-d to speak to her, can you make that possible”.

“I guess I can try, its much easy than getting my dad’s do¢v-ments” she said.

“Good… Make sure you are careful okey” I said getting up.

“Why are you doing all these Rocky” She asked.

I stared at her wondering where the question was actually coming from, “I would tell you when all this is over but before then… You will work according to my command and don’t think of betraying me because that would be the end of you and your lover” I said and left the room.

I walked throu-gh the veranda.. My mind was mostly occu-pied with how to access Chief Varma’s secret chamber.

I quic-kly texted Siddarth, telling him everything Andris said to me.

Few minutes later his call c@m£ in “She said all that….” he asked.

“Yeah… I think we nee-d to access chief Varma’s secret chamber, that’s where all his secret must be”

“But…. Why did you trust her so fast” Siddarth asked.

“Well… I just felt the nee-d to, but we don’t seem to have a choice here”

“I have a bad feeling about this”

“Don’t worry…. Its fine” I said and the call ended.

I took a de-ep breath, i just hope am doing the right thing.

Sasha…. Why does he want to speak to her, is he in anyway in love with her.

No… I doubt, he can’t be in love with her… They are two different people besides he doesn’t look…. No it can’t be” I shrugging the thoughts away.

All this doesn’t make a single s-en-se… How can getting him to speak with Sasha help me achieve my aim with Chad…. How.

My phone beeped interrupting my thoughts… I signed picking it up… “Still picking your call at this hour” that was dad’s de-ep voice.

I signed not saying a word… “Remeber all I have said to you, be sure to produce a son as soon as possible if you don’t want me to rip you ap@rt”.

“That’s all you know how to do… Ripping people ap@rt.. You can’t do more than that” I wanted to say but I dare not…..

I won’t live to tell the story “Okey sir” I replied bowing….

He didn’t say a word and ended the call.

“Arrggh” I screamed.

I headed back to the room, it was alre-ady getting late and I was afraid I won’t be able to find the room which did happen.

I kept opening one door to the other till I finally opened the right door.

Andris was alre-ady fast asleep, I ti-ptoed into the bathroom and took a quic-k bath before heading to the be-d.

I woke up to the sound of my ringing phone… I hissed taking the duvet off my b©dy.

I reached for my phone which was on t©p of the side table “I wonder why he is calling this early” I sighed picking the phone.

“Good Morning Sir” I said.

“Sorry Dad….” I quic-kly corrected. He chuckled “How was your night son” he asked.

“Nice….” “And my daughter” he asked.

“Still slee-ping….” I replied staring at Andris.

“Okey…. A business proposal c@m£ up today, I would like to discus it with you…. Hope you aren’t busy today”

“No…. Am totally free” I said.

“Okey…. See you by noon”.

“Okey dad….” I said and the call went off.

I dashed into the bathroom and had a quic-k bath… On coming out Andris was alre-ady awake busy with her phone.

She was giggling while pressing her phone, I know without being told that she was chatting with Chad… Her so called lover.

“How was your night” I said when I noticed she wasn’t ma-king any attempt to do so.

“Worst than ever” She said not looking at me.

I scoffed “What’s that suppose to mean”.

I walked towards the wardrobe and wore a fresh cloth.

“Am heading out…” I said.

“Where should Sasha meet you”

I turned…. “Did you speak to her” I asked surprised.

“What do you think….”

Wow… It was easy than I thought, “Just somewhere your dad doesn’t know off…. Text me the address”.

She stared at me for a while before facing her phone. “Strange..”.

I drove into the amusement park ma-king sure I wasn’t followed by someone.

I parked at the parking slot and walked to the pl@yhouse where we usually meet.

“Hy… You are here alre-ady” Siddarth said standing.

“Yeah… So where is the girl” I asked looking around.

“Oh… That’s her” Siddarth said pointing at a shabby looking girl.

“her….?” I asked surprised.

“She is Odeya and she is very s-en-sitive so mind how you stare at her” Siddarth said whispering the last p@rt.

Well am glad he noticed the way I was staring at the girl, she looks so tattered and doesn’t look like one that can help us.

“Am Odeya…. Your friend alre-ady said that” She said and sniffed.

I blinked my eyes, clearing my throat at the same time. “So… What information do you have” I asked.

“Everything you would nee-d regarding Mr Phogat’s death….” She said.

I glanced at Siddarth whom nodded his head, I stared back at the so called Odeya.

“Name your price”

“Even if you are tired of living you should make the world a better place for those still willing to hustle and make their life worth living….. Its free”.

“Free??” I said almost screaming… “So you just feel like getting rid of Chief Varma” I asked.

“I want him to know a single man’s death costed alot their future…..”

“Mr Phogat’s death death costed me my future… Mr Phogat had a foundation, ‘tou-ching Lives’ throu-gh the foundation he took care of the poor, paying their school fees and other fees”.

“I was one of the kids in the foundation, I was alre-ady in the university when he died, I dropped out from school because no one paid my fees, the foundation ended because there was no one to continue from where he st©pped…..”

“I did odd jobs trying to survive in the process I got cut up in a crime I didn’t commit”.

“A drug business…. I went to jail and there I found out Chief Varma was the one handling that drug business that landed me in jail”

“I got re-leased two days ago and that was when I meet Siddarth” She said in tears.

I was baffled, I never knew my dad had such foundation. “Am sorry…” I said, I didn’t know what else to say or do.

“Its okey…. I plan on taking chief Varma money and starting up another foundation…. Even if am not going to benefit from it, at least others will”.

“Don’t worry… That dream would come true” I said and she nodded.

“So.. What information do you have” I asked.

“After Mr Phogat died, A prosecutor investigated his death, Mrs Blake… She c@m£ to us interrogating us…. She was alre-ady close to putting Chief Varma behind bars for his crime but chief Varma was smarter than she thought”.

“Few days to the court seating, her only child was kidnapped and her corpse was found in front of the court on the same day of the court seating”

“She ended the whole investigation to mourn her only daughter, she never c@m£ back for the investigations”

“So… How will this Mrs Blake help us” Siddarth asked

“I believe she still has some things against him also she has great res£ntment against Chief Varma for killing her daughter”.

“Do you know where this Mrs Blake lives” I asked.

“Yes… I asked around, she live down street where she runs a day care school”

“I can take you there whenever you want”

“Lets get going….” Siddarth

“No… Not today, I have somewhere to go now” I said.

“Where…. Rocky you know how important this is” Siddarth said staring at me.

“Look I have an appointment with Andris father and I can’t miss it”

“Okey….. I will go with Odeya to Mrs Blake’s house now maybe you can join us some other time” Siddarth said.

“Okey…. Take care” I said and left.

I parked at the parking slot and one of Chief Varma’s man took me into his seating room.

“You are early son” Chief Varma’s voice ushered me in.

I walked in smiling only to behold the last face I ever want to see…. Emperor Bhalladev.

I opened my mouth to talk but no word c@m£ out of it.

“Seat….” Chief Varma said.

I sat down praying Emperor Bhalladev doesn’t notice anything.

“Am sure you alre-ady know my friend here” Chief Varma said and I nodded.

“He is the one in charge of the new business so you would be seeing him more often….”.

“So… What’s this business all about” I asked not sure if I was actually saying the right thing.

“Drugs…..” He said sipping his wine.

“Drugs… But…” I was saying when chief Varma cuts in.

“No buts, Rocky…. When you agreed to marry my daughter, you as well agreed to take over my riches as well as my dark business…. Isn’t that true”.

“I agreed so I could take my revenge, I don’t want to soil my hand in bad things”.

“Offcourse….. So what am I going to do” I asked.

Chief Varma might think he is smart but he doesn’t know my plan yet…. ma-king me p@rt of his drug business would help me get into his secret chamber.

“Its easy…. The drug’s would be arriving in few days time, arrange some men to help smugle it into our secret warehouse from there it would be transported to various places” He said.

I nodded my head, So that’s how it works…. I pressed my phone ma-king sure it was still recording everything….

“Okey… I will see to that” I said getting up

“Emperor Bhalladev is here in case you have any problem….”

“Isn’t he going to travel back to Chennai”

“Not until the drug’s arrive…. That’s his mine reason for coming”

“Okey….. I have to take my leave now..” I said and left.
