I kept glancing at him, his voice sounds so familia and his behavior too, although am not sure if I have seen his face anywhere.
“I wonder how he meet Chief Varma’s daughter…. He is so lucky, I wanted my son Prince Amerenda to marry her but…..”
“I just don’t know…. Things didn’t work out well”
“Am planing on ma-king him the fifth knight” Chief Varma snapped me out of my thought.
“What….” I said almost screaming.
I kept staring at chief Varma…. No way I have been working ha-rd for that position, I have worked so ha-rd for it, he can’t give it out to some boy just like that.
“You want to make him the fifth knight…. But you don’t even know him”
“He is my son in-law…. He deserve it” he said.
I was astonished, I can’t believe he trusted him so much to give him that honor.
“Do you have a problem with my decision” chief Varma snapped me out of my thought.
“I don’t….. He is perfect for the title” I said

I kept glancing at Emperor Bhalladev wondering if he actually noticed anything…. I pray he doesn’t.
But how did he know chief Varma, all throu-gh my stay in Chennai I haven’t seen chief Varma and Emperor Bhalladev doesn’t seem to talk about him much.
I sighed…. Andris must know something, I just have to make her talk.
The wedding continued and we received alot of gifts from the guest.
Few hours later, the guests started leaving one after the other.
“The driver will drive you both to your new house” chief Varma said smiling.
“New house?” I asked surprised.
“Yes… You can’t leave with me… Take proper care of my daughter” he said dragging Rhea with him.
Although I liked the idea of the new house but I would have been better if I stay close to chief Varma, it would help me know his secrets even more.
I and Andris both walked to the garage and entered the car, just then my phone beeped it was a text message from Siddarth.
đź’¬ Becareful” I sighed…. Who knows what he is up to.
The car st©pped, I looked up on to behold a magnificent house… The lights were on and it look even more beautiful.
We both alighted and the security guard lead the way into the house.

We sat before the television watching Rocky’s wedding ceremony with Chief Varma’s daughter.
We…. Yes.
Rocky doesn’t have any television in his house, not even a radio set so I had to visit mum to watch the ceremony.
I wanted to confirm of he is actually getting married to her, he doesn’t seem to love her and from the girls facial expression, I doubt if she has any feeling for Rocky.
“Rocky… Is that even his real name” I thought staring at him from the television.
From my investigation, he is Mr Phogat’s son so I doubt if he would use his real name… If he does, chief Varma might recognize it and kill him.
“Hmmm… I just have to ask mum, she might know mr Phogat’s son name”
“Chief Varma sure got his daughter a handsome guy” Mrs Blake said sipping his coffee.
“He sure did, but I doubt if they love each other”
“Off course they don’t…. Look at his daughter she is very uncomfortable and his son in-law, he hasn’t smiled at all….”.
“Chief Varma sure has his way of ma-king people do what he wants…. He is very wicked and heartless”
“Wicked and heartless… I guess he must have done something really terrible to you” I asked.
“Something I would never forget even in my death… Something I wish I can revenge for but am too weak to do that” Mrs Blake said.
I sighed… What really happened between mum and Chief Varma….
Anyways that’s none of my problem… My problem is knowing Mr Phogat’s son name.
“Do you by any chance know Mr Phogat’s son name” I asked not sure if I actually did the right thing.
Mrs Blake stared at me, I guess wondering why I was asking such question.
“What’s the relationsh!pbetween Mr Phogat’s son name and Chief Varma’s daughter wedding” she asked staring at me.
“Nothing just that I have been meaning to ask you but it keeps skipping my memory….” I lied.
“Preeti… Why are you so concerned in Chief Varma and Mr Phogat’s relationsh!ptogether… People ha-rd ly talks about it”
“Oh….. I… Nothing, just…. Nothing” I stuttered not knowing what to say.
“The relationsh!pbetween Mr Phogat’s death chief Varma brings back memories I don’t want to remember… It would be nice if you st©p asking me questions about it…. That am the first prosecutor that handled the case doesn’t mean am the only one that knows something about it…. Just quit asking me such questions… Am I un-derstood” she said angrily.
“Yes…” I replied nodding, she looks very angry. It must be bringing back memories but what am I suppose to do… I really nee-d help.
I sighed glancing at the television, the program was alre-ady over… I guess I would just head back home and sort things out myself.

The wedding finally c@mÂŁ to an end, I hissed walking towards Chief Varma’s car…
He was alre-ady seated waiting for me and immediately I entered the car, he welcomed me with a resounding sl@p.
“Sir….” I called in tears, I haven’t done anything to deserve the sl@p, why is he sl@pping me all of a sudden.
“This is just an introduction to what I would do to you, if I see you twenty Kilometers close to my son in-law” he said.
“Your son in-law” I asked surprised…
“He seems to be staring at you, instead of my daughter or you think I didn’t notice… Let’s just presume you both aren’t doing anything in secret because if I find out, I would kill just the way I ended your entire family” He barked at me.
“Am not doing anything with your son in-law and if there is any nee-d to sl@p someone…. You should go sl@p him” I wanted to say but I dear not.
I sighed, “Am sorry” I muttered, he didn’t say a word to me… The car zoomed off.
He’s right…. Andris husband has been staring at me, since the first time we meet.
I didn’t see anything wrong with it although it made me somehow uncomfortable but I really don’t care…. Am used to stares anyway.

The house was neatly arranged with expensive things… Chief Varma must have spent alot on it.
We walked into the room, “The maids will see to your nee-d” He said with a bow.
“Okey…” I simply said nodding, he bowed again before leaving.
I glanced at Andris… She doesn’t seem that happy or maybe she is shy.
“I will shower first” she said heading to the bathroom with her bathing box.
“Hmm..” I muttered not sure if she actually heard it.
I sat on the be-d staring at the whole room, from the television to the wine shelf filled with expensive and clas-sic wines to the designer wardrobe.
I sighed lying down… “One step taken, four to go….”I said staring at the celling.
My phone ringed, I quic-kly reached for it “Hi Rocky” that was siddarth.
“Am fine don’t worry, its just me and Andris here” I said.
“Even at that…. Chief Varma can do the impossible… Be careful”
“I will…”
“Anyways we have to be very fast with everything, It won’t take long for chief Varma to catch us…”
“Yeah… that’s true… I will try my best to get informations from Andris tonight”
“Okey… I meet someone whom is willing to help, according to her she knows someone that can tell us everything we nee-d to know about Mr Phogat’s death”
“Someone… That’s good, I will meet you up at the amusement park tomorrow by….” I was saying when Andris phone beeped.
I glanced at it… “I will see you tomorrow night” I quic-kly said and ended the call.
I walked towards the the bathroom, Andris was still very much busy in there.
I quic-kly reached for her phone, luckily for me there was no pas-sword protec-tion on it.
I went throu-gh her phone checking her call history, she doesn’t receive much calls from her dad but she has alot of call history with Chad… Her dad’s spy I guess.
I moved to her messages, re-ading them one after the other till my eyes caught a p@rticular message, it was sÂŁnt few minutes ago and it was from Chad.
đź’¬ “I have everything planed out… We would leave Mumbai in a week time, just stay strong for me… Love from your beloved Chad” I was astonished… Like I couldn’t believe what I was actually seeing and re-ading.
Does this mean, Andris isn’t in support of this marriage.
Well I went back to her previous conversation with the so called Chad to clear my doubts and know what was happening excately.
đź’¬ “Am sorry Chad… My dad disagreed, he alre-ady found a husband for me and I doubt if we would ever be together… Am so… ” the bathroom door cracked, I quic-kly dropped the phone and rushed to the other side of the be-d pretending to be busy with my phone while stealing a glance at her.
Andris walked out of the bathroom fully dressed, her hair tied with a white towel.
“You can shower now” I heard her say.
“Okey…” I muttered, I glanced at her as she walks towards her phone, after a while she glanced at me… She must have noticed someone
No not someone, she must have noticed that I tampered with it.
“Who is Chad” I volunteered, the stare was getting quite uncomfortable and I really don’t like it.
“My brother….” she said after a few minutes of silence.
“Your brother…. Your father said you were the only child” I said.
“Cou….sin bro…ther” she stuttered nervously.
Yes nervously, its written all over her and she was alre-ady sweating despite the air-conditioning in the room.
“Do you seriously want me to discuss this with your father” I threatened.
I had to act ha-rd to get the informations I nee-d from her, its a good thing she doesn’t support this marriage at least it won’t be that difficult to walk away.
“Do you think you would make me scared of you just the way that monster did” she said almost in tears…. No in tears.
I was speechless, I least expected that statement from her.
“I…do…n’t un-der…stand” I stuttered.
“You don’t un-derstand…. You just walked into my life and the next time is marriage… Tell me Rocky, Are you that desperate for power huh”
And that’s what I have been looking for, its certain she alre-ady hates her dad and she would do anything possible if I offer her the deal to call off the marriage.
Hmm I just nee-d to pl@ymy card very well to avoid mistakes.
“So… You don’t what to marry me?”
“I thought you got the message when I told you I was getting married to you because my dad said I should do so…” she snapped.
“So… I guess the chad is your cousin lover not your cousin brother…”
She hissed without didn’t say a word, well I wasn’t expecting much from her thou.
“What if I help you with your plans with Chad”
She stared at me, surprise written all over her… “Why would you do that” she asked.
“Its simple Andris… You help me… I help you” I said.
“So what’s the deal…” she asked.
I opened my mouth to talk but something st©pped me, I stared at Andris for a while.
What if all this is planned out and a CCTV c@mÂŁra is somewhere here capturing everything we discuss.
“Why aren’t you saying anything” Andris asked.
“Tell me, why should I trust you”
