episode 51
Senator Godwin will made an reservation for Marcel and Clarissa where they were served like king and queen, well of course senator Godwin knows Marcel will soon be one.
Immediately senator Godwin set his eyes on clarissa he liked her, and to be freak she was the second girl he has ever seen with Marcel, he tried to remember the other girl’s name…. After de-ep thinking he snapped his fingers “yes Mirabelle, that’s her name, I never liked that girl, she’s too sas-sy and too troublesome”
he said in his mind.
He allowed Marcel and Clarissa to enjoy their meal, after they were done eating, he excused himself from his friend and went to marcel’s table.
SENATOR GODWIN
honestly I’m so happy you came here tonight, miss Rissa hope you enjoyed the meal?
CLARISSA
(She smiled)
yes senator, thanks for having us
SENATOR GODWIN
common, call me Godwin, Marcel and I are mates ooh, just that I became a politician at an early age….i feel embarras-sed hearing you call me that.
CLARISSA
okay Mr Godwin
(she said and Marcel and Godwin laughed)
SENATOR GODWIN
if you will excuse us, I will like to borrow your man for a while.
CLARISSA
You both are excused.
MARCEL
I will be right back babe.
(he said pecking her cheeks)
immediately they were out of sight Jude rushed to the table where Clarissa sat down and took marcel’s seat.
Ever since clarissa walked into the house he hasn’t been able to take his eyes off her, he didn’t know clarissa was this beautiful and curvey yet she hide her beauty in all those big big clothes she wore.
CLARISSA
What do you want Mr man?
JUDE
This feels like a dream Rissa, what happened? I mean the transformation?
CLARISSA
I do not want to speak to you, please leave me alone.
she said and got up from the table, she walked to one conner of the room and stood there alone, hoping that Jude would leave her alone or Marcel would come and be her saving grace.
But Marcel was busy talking with his friend at one side.
Jude walked up to clarissa again, this time she decided to stand out for herself and not be the weakling everyone sees her for.
CLARISSA
I see you have suddenly become stubborn, what exactly do you want Jude?
JUDE
I just want to talk
CLARISSA
about what? beside where is your wife? I haven’t seen her since I came
JUDE
(He frowned a little)
Kenny and I are no longer together
CLARISSA
(shocked)
how do you mean? I mean what happened.
JUDE
you remember Peter right?
CLARISSA
of course, Peter your younger brother
JUDE
I caught Peter and Kenny……
(he paused for a while)
I caught them together.
CLARISSA
caught them together? doing what?
JUDE
I caught them having se-x
CLARISSA
(She choked)
what?
JUDE
I did everything she wanted, I wonder what she saw in my younger brother that she didn’t see in me.
CLARISSA
well, it’s not her fault….it’s the law of karma, ever heard of that word “karma is a bi**h”? karma just gave you the taste of your own posion…..im sure Kenny would get hers soon…..so where is she now?
JUDE
I don’t know, haven’t heard of her for two months now.
CLARISSA
what of Peter?
JUDE
his my brother, you don’t expect me to fight my brother over a lose woman who couldn’t close her legs.
CLARISSA
Well, it’s your cross and your life.
JUDE
I see you have moved on, his cute and he smelled money too.
CLARISSA
who? Marcel? no his just a friend.
immediately she said that Jude felt this wave of joy flow throu-ghhim, his mind quickly told him he could get another chance with clarissa, after he got se-duced by Kenny because of her dressing and beauty, just now he realized Clarissa is ten times beautiful than Kenny.
JUDE
I see…..look Clarissa I know I have been a je-rk in the past, I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me.
CLARISSA
like you said it’s in the past, you are my past and I have gotten over you….so no nee-d for apologies.
Marcel and Godwin got to a conner, Marcel couldn’t help but noticed how his friend was just smiling.
MARCEL
what
(he said smiling too)
SENATOR GODWIN
Why haven’t you told her you like her?
MARCEL
(Shocked)
who?
SENATOR GODWIN
clarissa of course, you like her
MARCEL
is it that obvious?
SENATOR GODWIN
it didn’t take me a second to see it
MARCEL
I love that girl so much bro
SENATOR GODWIN
then what’s stopping you?
MARCEL
The fear of my mum, you know she wants me to marry mirabelle, bro I had to run from home ooh, else I would have become a married man by now.
SENATOR GODWIN
I never liked that girl called Mirabelle, she’s too desperate for my liking, to even think she’s a princess…..look man, if you love that girl I think it’s best you tell her before it’s too late, can’t you see how beautiful she looks? she’s every man’s desi-re…..i’m sure you will regret it if she’s taken by another.
MARCEL
I can’t afford to lose her, she means everything to me.
SENATOR GODWIN
Then talk to her.
MARCEL
what if she doesn’t like me and just sees me as a friend and tenant.
SENATOR GODWIN
You never can tell until you try….wait, you are her tenant?
MARCEL
yeah, I rent an apartment in her house.
SENATOR GODWIN
I like her already, she’s not even a gold digger, she’s a boss coupled with her pretty face….look man, you can’t afford to lose this girl.
MARCEL
I will talk to her about it and I pray she accepts me .
Marcel and Godwin spoke for a while before he decided to go meet clarissa, when he got there he met her talking with the guy they saw earlier, he saw how free clarrissa was with the person and that got him jealous, he didn’t want what happened with Benjamin to repeat itself, he couldn’t seat back and watch someone take the woman he loves.
He walked up to Clarissa and the young man, before clarissa could say anything, Marcel ki-ssed her so de-eply, she was shocked at first but soon she ki-ssed him back….after some time Marcel pulled away from the ki-ss and stare at Clarissa’s eyes….. Their ki-ssing scene had drag plenty attention to them, even camera men have fucos all their attentions on them, they believe stuff like this will make a good story line and plenty money for them.
MARCEL
I love you so much clarissa and I would die if I kept silent and watch someone take you away from me.
CLARISSA
You are kidding right?
(she asked getting teary)
MARCEL
I love you so much Rissa, with everything inside of me….i can never joke with something like this.
Clarissa started to cry, she never un-derstood her feelings till he ki-ssed her, she has ki-ssed different men in her search for love, but the moment Marcel ki-ssed her she knew she has finally seen her Mr right.
CLARISSA
With everything I have done to you?
(She asked crying)
MARCEL
(He chuckled)
it has made me love you even more baby
she hu-gged him ti-ghtly, he hu-gged her back, everyone just stood in their positions looking at the drama as it unfold….senator Godwin loved what he was seeing but was not very convinced until clarissa pulled from the hu-g and held Marcel’s cheeks
CLARISSA
You have not just being a friend to me Marcel, you have been everything, you have showed me love and care that no one else have ever showed me….which better man is there for me to love if not you marcel….
(she sniffled)
I love you so much marcel….
Marcel cut her shut by ki-ssing her, everyone clapped and roar in excitement.
senator Godwin raise a glas-s to the celebr@tion of the new dating couple in town.
Jude was so pissed off he had to leave the scene, just feel minutes ago clarisssa was telling him they were just friends, the next minute she’s telling him she love him….”Clarissa was once mine and she will always be mine, not you or anybody can take her away from me”
he thought in his heart before leaving the scene.

The next morning Clarissa woke up with the smell of fresh coffee, a toast bread and egg sauce, she had spend the night at Marcel’s place, when they got home, he invited her over to his apartment and she accepted, they talked and talked, she told him who the guy she was standing with is, and what Jude told about his marriage, they laughed over it and did some ki-ssing, singing, no intimacy just ki-ss because Marcel knows as a crown prince his not suppose to go against the rules and traditions of his kingdom.
clarissa too wasn’t ready to open her body, it was too early.
she smiled at Marcel and sat up on the bed
MARCEL
good morning angel
CLARISSA
(She smiled)
good morning, when did you wake that you have made all this….beside who taught you how to make egg sauce?
MARCEL
You of course, have you forgotten you made it the other day?
CLARISSA
And you learnt it just that once?
MARCEL
yes my princess
CLARISSA
(She smiled)
you are a fast learner then…..i haven’t brush yet
MARCEL
it doesn’t matter babe, you can eat then brush later.
CLARISSA
okay boss.
Marcel ki-ssed her li-ps quickly and went into the kitchen to get his own food.
All throu-ghthe night kimberly could not sleep to her satisfaction because Derrick was in her room, she tried to make him sleep on the bed but he refused, he said he would rather seat on the chair till morning, Derrick couldn’t bring himself to lay on the same bed that Kim was fu*k*d the previous day.
the two times Derrick slept at her place, he slept in the visitors room, she couldn’t send him there tonight because she knows he won’t even listen to her.
so she had to endure his presence till morning….they didn’t talk to each other, except if she M0-n in pain he would get up from his chair to touch her and ask her if she was okay.
the coldness between them was killing her but she didn’t know what to do.
the next morning Derrick ordered food, he didn’t know how to cook he would have done it himself, he order for light food and within minutes the food was delivered, he served her on the bed.
Kim was surprised, she thought he made it
KIMBERLY
you cooked?
DERRICK
Good morning, I ordered it…..I don’t cook remember?
KIMBERLY
Oh I see.
DERRICK
how do you feel?
KIMBERLY
My head still hurt and I still feel dizzy.
Derrick moved closed to her and tou-ched her body, she was still burning up.
DERRICK
Your temperature is high again, let’s go to the hospital you say no
KIMBERLY
Don’t start please
(she said taking a fork to eat her spaghetti)
DERRICK
I’m going home now, I nee-d to go freshen up and have a change of clothes, then I will go to my hospital and get you some medication.
KIMBERLY
sounds like a plan.
DERRICK
Will you be okay by yourself?
KIMBERLY
I guess I will just stay in bed till you return I guess.
DERRICK
if you nee-d anything call Usman please.
KIMBERLY
I will
Derrick picked his phone from her Mimi table and left.
TIME 10:27AM
Mrs Elizabeth sat in her living room watching a program on the TV, when Mirabelle barged in angrily.
MRS ELIZABETH
What is it my dear? you look very disturb
MIRABELLE
take a look at this mummy, I told you Marcel has always been in this town but nobody believes me.
MASON
(Coming out from the throne room)
what are you saying princess
MIRABELLE
(She turn go look at him)
greetings my king.
MASON
what is it I just heard you say about my son?
MIRABELLE
my king, Marcel has been in this town close to a year now….last night he attended a party where he profess his love to a young woman, my king watch the video for yourself.
she said handling her phone to king Mason….King mason took the phone and watched the video, he gave it to his already provoked wife, she watched it too and got up in anger.
MRS ELIZABETH
How dare Marcel try to bring shame upon this house hold? how dare him?
KING MASON
calm down woman, I’m disappointed at our son for lying to us, bug let’s not forget his a man and old enout to take decisions for himself.
MRS ELIZABETH
(Shocked)
is that all you have to say? your crown prince who is supposed to remain a V¡rgin is out there ki-ssing a woman who I’m sure has no clas-s, and you say this? I’m disappointed.
MIRABELLE
I will not seat back and watch anybody take my man away from me….never.
KING MASON
my daughter, love is not something we for-ce, I’m sure if Marcel loves you he wouldn’t have ran away from home.
King Mason has always been know as a just and upright man, he hate lies and hypocritical people, when something is black he will tell you it’s black and not lie about it….after seeing the video he realized how much thru have been so ha-rd on their son to marry the woman he has no feelings for.
his parents never for-ced him to marry their choice, thru just didn’t accept his choice because of her background but later on they bless their marriage, he won’t seat back and push his son away because of another person’s selfish gain.
Mirabelle ran out in tears, she couldn’t believe king Mason would say that to her, as she was heading out she ran into Derrick blindly, Derrick wondered what could be making her cry…he got to where his dad and mum sat and greeted them but Mrs Elizabeth answered him with a slap.
MRS ELIZABETH
that’s for lying to us that you didn’t know of your brother’s whereabout.
(she said and walked out)
Derrick was in shock, everything was confusing to him, how did his mum come to the conclusion that Marcel didn’t leave the country.
DERRICK
(Robbing his cheeks)
dad, what’s going on
KING MASON
I know you know your brother is still in Nigeria, and I know you know how to reach him…..i want you to call him to come home now.
DERRICK
(Was more shocked now)
what’s going on dad, how did you and mum come….
KING MASON
You at my staff of authority and lie to me son….go ahead and do it.
Immediately went down on his knees, it was an abomination to lie before the king while his holding his staff of authority
DERRICK
I dare not father, just I as I can’t lie to you, I’m un-der an oath not to disclose where my brother is to anyone….father, as a man of authority you will un-derstand how important it is for one to keep an oath…it can’t be broken….i’m sorry father.
king Mason was no fool, he un-derstand the implications of one breaking an oath, he would not risk the life of his second son for anything in the world.
He got up angrily and left, he was angry because he had failed as a father, if he had stopped his wife long enough when she was forcing marcel to marry Mirabelle he wouldn’t have ran from home.
Derrick sigh and got up, he went to his room and packed a few clothes, he nee-ded to leave so they atmosphere will be cleared….staying un-der the same roof with his mother would mean pressure and he didn’t want that.
before Mrs Elizabeth would realize it Derrick was already out of the house.
All throu-ghhis ride to Lagos he couldn’t help but wonder how his parents got to know about Marcel still being in Nigeria.
