“I’m glad, you understood” Lord Stone mocked.
“Stay right here” He commanded as his phone rang, he quickly left study too.
Beauty wiped her tears and looked around for security cameras but there were none in the office. She gr-unted and walked to his desk, she opened the drawers and started searching them, she slid open a part of the desk and it showed a safe.
“Safe” Beauty muttered and quickly slid the wood back, she closed the drawers and went back to where she stood.
Lord Stone walked back in and Darian was with him.
“Beauty” Darian smiled at her.
“Good evening, lord Darian” She greeted.
Darian wondered what she was doing in lord Stone’s study.
“You may leave” Lord Stone ordered and Beauty rushed out.
“What was she doing here?” Darian asked, perplexed.
“None of your business” Lord Stone growled.

Slaves’ chamber **
Beauty got to the slave’s chamber feeling pains in her stomach again, it was her menstrual cramps bothering her again.
“Ah, my stomach” She, mo-an-ed and squee-zed her stomach in pain.
“It hurts” Beauty whined.
“Are you alright?” Jessi asked and walked to her, Jessi is beautiful, has black short hair and is really pretty.
She laid her hands on Beauty’s shoulders.
“My stomach hurts” Beauty said,teary eyes.
“Come with me” Jussu said softly and took her to the other section of the slaves’ chamber.
“Sit” She said and Beauty sat down.
“l will go prepare some herbal soup for you, we will drink it together, I am also having my P too “Jessi giggled.
” Really? “Beauty shine her eyes.
” Yes “Jessi smiled at her.
” That’s, cool, can you get an injection for me too, one that would make me, sleep immediately I get of shot of it “Beauty requested.
“It hurts that much” Jessi said worriedly and she nodded.
“Yeah”
“Alright, I will get the herb soup and the syringe” Jessi smiles and left the chamber.
Beauty smirked and held her tummy in pain.
“I hate these cramps”
Few minutes later Jessi comes back with the bowl of soup and syringe, she’s also in charge of giving drugs and food to the guards when they are injured from a mission or back.
“Thanks” Beauty smiled and took the herb from her.
Beauty took a sip of it and spat.
“It’s so bitter” Beauty spat out.
“I know right” Jessi chuckled..
Beauty drank more of the soup and handed it back to her.
“This is disgusting”.
Jessi drank the rest without getting irked by the taste,, she handed the injection to Beauty.
“My name is Jessi and yours?” Jessi inquires.
“Beauty, that’s my name” Beauty grinned.
“Can we be friends?” Jessi asked but Beauty kept note.
“I’m not sure” Beauty said cautiously.
“Why?” Jessi asked sadly.
“Because my friend Katie betrayed me and put me in a whole lot of trouble” Beauty pouted.
“Katie, I think I heard that she’s dead”
“What!!!”
“Yes, I heard she was beheaded by Lord Ruben” Jessi whispered and Beauty gasped covering her mouth.
“It’s true, her body was thrown away and left for the flies to feast on” Jessi said slightly irritated as the image replayed in her head.
“Damn!”
“You should use the injection and sleep, I’m going to bed as well” Jessi yawned and kept the bowl aside.
She laid on the bed and soon drifted off to sleep.
Beauty sighed and hid the injection in her gown.

Next morning.
“These cookies look tasty” Jessi smiled.
“I know”
“Thankfully, the Mistress has been quite busy these days, we have less work” Jessi smiled happily.
“That’s cool, you know I think I like you” Beauty giggled talking more maturely.
“I think I like you too” Jessi giggled and hug-ged her.
“Who are you making these cookies for?” Jessi asked curiously, her eyebrows are raised waiting got an answer.
“For someone special to my heart” Beauty blus-hed.
“Awwnn” Jessi smiled.
“And may I know who he is?” Jessi winked.
“I won’t tell you” Beauty laughed.
“You are secretive” Jessi pouted.
“Are we friends now?” Jessi mouthed.
“Yes, high five girl” Beauty chuckled and slammed her palm on Jessi’s.
“Do you know how to speak Latin?” Jessi asked and Beauty nodded in positive.
“You are my sister” Jessi screamed and squee-zed the life out of Beauty.
“My bones” Beauty screamed.

Lord Ruben’s suite ***
Beauty reached his room and gave Ruben the cookies.
“They look yummy” Ruben smiled staring at the chocolate cookies.
“I made them, myself” Beauty said proudly with a smile.
Ruben took one and three a piece into his mouth, he just wanted to trust her..
“How does it taste? ” Beauty giggled.
“It tastes so good,” Ruben chewed and smiled.
“Thanks” She blus-hed, he ate a piece and ki-sses her li-ps, both exchanging the chocolate taste.
“Eew”
Beauty pushed him away and pouted her li-ps.
Ruben snickered and ate them one after the other, Beauty smiled watching him, she couldn’t even stop herself from feeling this way towards him.
“Stop staring” Ruben smirked.
“You are not that handsome” She glared at him.
“Says the one who said, I have se-xy pink li-ps…”
“And green eyes” She chuckled.
“Yap, green eyes,” Ruben laughed along.
“How is Betsy now?” Beauty asked.
“She’s fine now but I don’t know if she’s lying,”Ruben sighed sadly.
” Don’t get worried, she’s a strong girl and I know she will be gone “Beauty smiled and pecked his li-ps.
She didn’t bother asking about Katie because she doesn’t feel sorry for her.
” I have something to give you “Ruben said and stood up, he walked his drawer and brou-ght out a small box.
He came back to Beauty and sat in front of her” I bought this for Sofia when I thought we would get married ”
He opened the box and brou-ght out two necklaces one with a heart shaped locket attached and another with a key.
Beauty smiled broadly and collected them from him…
” So beautiful “She snickered, they are gold in colour and attractive.
“Only that key can open the heart” Ruben said and she opened the heart with the key and she saw her picture and smiled.
“What does this mean?It’s supposed to be a Sofia picture right?”
“Yes but, I don’t need it in here” Ruben smiled and locked the heart locket, he wore it on his neck.
He wore the key shaped necklace on her neck. Beauty touched it in her chest and smiled.
“It’s beautiful,” Beauty muttered, touching the key.
“I’m the key to your heart” Beauty beamed.
“Don’t take any of this to heat” He said with a straight face.
She nodded and blus-hed.

Ronnie’s house ***
“You should finish her up already” Ronnie said, displeased by the fact that he’s spending time with Betsy.
Nicolas kept mute staring into space..
“Are you having second thoughts?” Ronnie yells in disbelief.
Nicolas palmed his face and walked away from the sitting room.
“Lucian, I’m talking to you” Ronnie shrieked and followed him into the room.
“Lucian!”
“Ronnie, get out” He said softly.
“What!”
“Get out!!!” He yelled and she flinched.
“Since you came, you’ve been like this but let me tell you something, if you don’t kill her, I will get rid of her and her god forsaken family, myself” Ronnie yelled back and stormed out of the room.
Nicolas gripped his hair and gr-unted.
“What’s wrong with me?”

Stone’s Mansion ***
Later that night, Beauty had injected the sedative into the food,Jessi served the guards, that guard lord Stone’s office, they are the only guards in the mansion who guard by place.
Beauty walked cautiously to the study and opened it with a hairpin she took from Jessi’s closer.
She unlocked the door and walked in , the guards were sleeping and snoring loudly.
She walked to the desk and slid the wood back, she started trying the pa-sswords of the safe but all were wrong.
She remembered how he asked her mother.
“Amelia” She typed it and it opened.
Beauty was shocked, she never knew her mother was that important to him, she didn’t think further but ransacked the safe.
She took a ha-rd drive and checked his computer, it was the same pa-ssword, she took everything she needed and kept the things back in their place..
She had gunshots and quickly hid behind the desk and grabbed the gun in the safe, suddenly the door flung open.
Lord Stone looked around his study and suspected something strange, first his guards were sleeping and now, he is sensing a strange scent in his office.
Beauty had to seize her breathe for a while, Lord Stone brou-ght out his gun and started moving close to the desk.
