Ruben screamed louder and Beauty burst into laughter.
Ruben, who was still shivering and slightly opened his eyes, looked up and saw her pink clothes that weren’t covered by the darkness.
Beauty laughed har-der and hiccupped, she staggered a bit feeling drunk…
Ruben clenched his fists and sprang up.
“Are you crazy?” He yelled and she flinched.
Instead of responding she started laughing all over again.
“Ruby, you are scared of ghosts,” Beauty laughed.
Ruben touched his chest and let out a sigh.
He stormed out of the uncompleted building and Beauty followed him.
“Do you think it was funny?” He whined and she bit her inner cheek to stop her from laughing.
“I thought you were the strong one and I’m the weak one, who’s scared now” Beauty chuckled.
“You are annoying, little brat, ” Ruben hissed and walked away.
Beauty smiled and ran to hug him from behind.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings” Beauty pleased, cutely rubbing her cheek on his back.
Ruben kept a straight face.
“Ruby” Beauty pouted and moved to his front.

“I didn’t like what you did at all” Ruben frowned heavily.

Nicolas whimpering reduced, Betsy’s blouse was we-t with his tears.

Betsy wiped his tears and smiled sadly.
“Are you alright now? ” She asked.
Nicolas simply stared at her, a sudden surge of hatred filled his eyes, seeing her is like seeing a part of Lord Stone.
Nicolas gr-unted and stood up to his feet, the gun shots had ceased, he regrets his phobia right now.
Betsy stood up and cupped his face but he yanked her hands off.
“Don’t touch me” He muttered coldly…
“What, Nico, what’s wrong with you?” Betsy asked, confused.
Nicolas ignored her and stormed out of the restroom, she followed him.
“Nico” Betsy called but before she could come out, he was already gone.
“Nicolas!!” Betsy yelled looking around, the place was in shambles, blood and people’s corpses, the cop’s siren was making a loud noise towards the bar.
Betsy ran out but Nicolas was gone, like has vanished.
“Nicolas!!!” Betsy screamed and pain struck her head.
“My head” She gro-aned and held her head, everywhere became blurry like before.
Tears gushed out of her eyes, the pain was excruciating.
“Betsy” Ruben called.
She fainted before she could respond.

Stone’s mansion **
After two hours, the doctor arrived, she checked Betsy and took a sample of her blood for a test.
“Is she alright?” Ruben said, concerned about her.
“No,her blood pressure was high and her heartbeat too, but I can’t make any conclusions till the tests are carried out,” the doctor replied.
“Thanks, Rachel,” Ruben smiled.
Rachel nodded, she took her things and left the room.
Ruben turned to Beauty who was staring into space.
“Doll”
“Beauty” He called and she snapped out of her thoughts.
“I will take my leave” She pouted and turned.
“Why, stay with me,” Ruben said.
“Don’t talk to me until you are ready to accept your feelings for me” Beauty hissed and stormed out of the room.
“She’s crazy, Arg!”
“Love” He muttered and touched his heart.
“Do I really love you?” Ruben thought and shook his head.
“No I don’t or do I” He asked himself and scratched his hair.

Adam’s house **
“That was such a scare” Mabel mutters and hug-ged him, she was stark nak-ed on the bed.
“I know right” Adam smirked and ki-ssed her li-ps.
“Do you think your ex boyfriend would be angry about us?” Adam asked, referring to Ruben.
“No, he doesn’t care about me” Mabel frowned..
“I need some money” Adam requested and took his finger to her honeypot.

Adam smirked cunningly.
“I need like half a million dollars” Adam requested and started twirling his finger in her p*ssy.

Beauty stood in front of him, her gaze to the floor.
Lord Stone grasped the necklace on her neck and she held his hand firmly.
“Do you know Amelia?” He asked and she nodded
“She’s my mother,” Beauty replied calmly.
Lord Stone looked shocked and retracted his hand, Beauty noticed it but he quickly recovered.
“Stay away from Ruben,” He said sternly.
“I can’t, I love him” She argued and he clenched her chin.
“Ah” Beauty gro-aned.
“You will do as you say if you don’t have a death wish or do you want him to die?,because it won’t take me anything to finish him up” Lord Stone said cruelly.
He needs Ruben to be focused and defeat his enemies, his training can’t go to waste on him.
“Why are you so wicked?” Beauty asked, teary eyes.
“Do as I say, betray him, cheat on him like Sofia did, break his heart, do whatever is possible and turn any feeling he had for you to hate” Lord Stone sneered.
“Either you do it or I will get rid of the both of you” He spat.
“Is that understood?” He barked.
“Yes” Beauty replied and tears escaped her eyes.
