As soon as I left Brian in the entrance, I went to the room to think of a way to leave the palace
He had told me he loved me, if he had told me he loved me before finding out my secret,I would have believed him but he alre-ady knows my secret.
It’s impossible for me to reciprocate that feeling knowing that am just an imposter here,I thought.
Just then my phone began to ring and when I saw the caller,I quic-kly closed the door
“Where are you? Where did you take my father?”I asked angrily
“Firstly if you are inside one of the room in the palace,Leave there right now”
“What are you saying?”I asked
“Just do as I say Emma,What ever am going to tell you shouldn’t be said inside the palace”He said
“But this is a call,Just talk to me right now”
“Seems like you don’t want to know where your father is right?”He asked
“I do! I do want to know where he is,Just tell me where is he and st©p torturing me.” I said
“Go to the court yard,We can talk more freely there”He said and immediately I left for the court yard
As soon as I got to the court yard,I looked around to confirm if any one was there but there was no one.
“Are you there yet?”
“Am at the court yard ,Now Tell me where my father is?”I asked
“Your father is here with me,Like seriously Emma,Why the hell did you have to get caught”
“Its not some thing that I can hide for the rest of my life, Brian has been suspecting me for a long time now”I replied
“And so you made it possible for him to catch you red handed right?”He asked
“Would I be that stupid,I know that my father is with you,So how Brian knew the truth j don’t know,I never told him ”
“Well the deed is done,I want you to leave that place as soon as you can”He said
“If I leave will I get the as-surance that my father will be there waiting for me “I asked
“Your father is right here with me,Still un-der my protec-tion,So you don’t have to worry,Just come to me and all will be fine”
“We will be having a bit of a problem ”
“If you are going to tell me about Brian keeping you locked up that should not be a problem,You have to find a way to get out of there”
“But Brian wouldn’t let me leave!”
“I don’t care how you do it,Am giving you only today,Leave the palace, Do your best to get out of the palace and your father will be fine”He said
“Fine I will find a way just don’t hurt my dad!”
“I won’t until you arrive,I will be waiting for your return my dear”He said and cut the call
For a while I stood starring at the phone.
How am I going to get out of here with out any one noticing, I thought as I sat on the chair.
He wants me to leave today and am sure that Brian had ti-ght£ñed the security so I won’t get the chance to leave.
What am I going to do,I thought as I closed my eyes,Wishing a way out of this mess.
Just then some one pu-ll-ed me up and before I knew it,I was in his arms
“No matter what happens Emma, don’t you dare leave me,Don’t!” Brian said as he held me ti-ghtly
What has gotten into him,I thought as I stood still in his arms
“Brian I…….”
“Just stay still, stay in my arms for a while”He said pu-lling me close.
Knowing that he wouldn’t let me go until he have had l his fill,I held him back
I won’t deny that I enjoy being in his arms too and am sure that this will be the very last time that I would be held by him.
I have a feeling that once I leave,Micheal wouldn’t let me come back
“I got a call from Micheal, The bastard wants me to let you go to him and I won’t let that happen,I won’t let you go,Not now that I know that I love you”
“But how? How can you love some one like me,Am a liar,I took up some one else identity, I pretended to be her and I lived her life, You shouldn’t have love me”I said sadly
“But you love me, What is the harm if I love you ”
“There is okay,Micheal knows that my father is my weakness, once he knows that you also are one of them,He will do his best to harm you and I don’t want that”
“Have told you alre-ady that I will protect my self from now on and I will also protect you”He said
“One thing Micheal asked me not to do when I started this was to fall in love with you and I did my best,I did all I could not to but I still did and am sure that once he knows about it,He will do……..”
“He alre-ady knows”
“But how? Did Nina tell him some thing”I asked
“Nina? What does Nina have to do with this?”I asked
“Not…nothing”I replied quic-kly
“plea-se Emma tell me, There should not be any secret between us”
“Well Nina,Nina have also been working along with Micheal”I said
“Nina! But how did she meet him?” He aaked
“I don’t know, All I know is that Micheal wanted her to be the one who married you,Took your money and then killed you but when she made him believe that she loved you,He re-moved her from the plan and brou-ght me into it”I said
“So Nina had also been a p@rt” He asked
“Yes,I found out that she didn’t love you and that she had made Micheal believe that she loved you so that only she could have all the money and stupid Micheal fell for it,How I wish she had gone ahead with it,I wouldn’t have been a p@rt”I said wistfully
“And I wouldn’t have met you,what ever happen, i will always be grateful to Micheal”
“Why?”
“Because he s£nt you my way,If you hadn’t come Nina would have married me and I would have been dead by now,You were my saviour,My destiny, You belong to me just as I do to you”He said
“Oh Brian,You are too good for me,I don’t deserve you or your love”I said and was rewarded with a k!ss
“You belong to me Emma and I won’t let you go,Promise me that no matter what,You won’t leave me”He said hvgging me again
I knew I couldn’t promise him that cause no matter what I had to get my dad.
“Believe me when I tell you that I will bring your father back to you “He said and I nodded gently
“I know you will” But that will be too late,Micheal would Have done some thing to harm father and I don’t want that
Am sorry Brian,But I will have to leave,I have to go…… I thought with in me
“Tell me how did Micheal know that we both love each other”I asked changing the subject
“He has his spy checking up on us”He replied
“Do you mean that some of the workers here are working for him too”I asked
“Yes,But don’t worry,Am alre-ady having that investigated and once I know who it is,I will make sure one of them pays”
If one of Micheal Spy was here,I have to get him to help me escape,I thought as I faked a yawn
“Tired?”
“Yes,I just nee-d to sleep it out”I said
“Should I come with you?”
“No…..no you shouldn’t, dont worry do your thing while I take a rest,Come get me when it’s time for dinner”I said and k!$$£d his cheek gently before walking off
As soon as I got to the room, I called Micheal
“Brian is bent on not letting me go,You have a spy here right? Get him to help me out of here”I said
“That fool doesn’t want to let go of you yet?”
“He doesn’t,So you nee-d to help me now that he is busy”I said
“Fine,I will talk to him and get back to you,don’t pl@yany trick on me Emma,If you do,you know what will happen”
“I know,You don’t have to remind me”I said and cut the phone.
I stood up and went to take a picture of Brian which had been placed in the room.
I took it and stared at it, knowing that after today I won’t be seeing him again I began to cry.
It had been torture for me when I started this lie and now that I do have a reason to stay am being f0rç£d to leave.
It hurt so much,Hurt to know that in a few minutes time,I would be leaving the man I love so much.
I was still crying silently when the phone began to ring
“Hello miss,I am the spy THE BOSS placed in the palace,He gave me your number and asked me to call you”The stranger said
“Yes,So tell me, How would you help me escape”I asked.

Episode 43
BRIAN POV
As fast as I could,I worked on the important do¢v-ment.
I wanted to be free of any work,So that I can focus on Emma.
Knowing that she is willing to stay with me even when her father is in the hands of Micheal made me happy and I will do my best to help get her dad out of micheal clutches.
I just finished talking to the police and they made it clear to me that soon enough they will catch him, I even offered to help but they refused saying they could handle it all on their own.
I was working on the last important do¢v-ment when suddenly my PA barged in
“What’s wrong?”
“Her Highness gave me this,She said I should give it to you,She was acting kind of strange”He said
“How strange?”
“She said I should only give the letter to you when she leaves and she was holding a bag”He said and immediately I stood up
“Where did you see her pas-s?”I asked
“She went throu-gh the back yard”He said and immediately I began to head to the back yard.
I got there only to find no one, I was about leaving when I saw a guard walking out of one of the bushes
“Your Highness”He said bowing quic-kly
“Where is my wife? Did you see her pas-s here?”I asked
“I……I….. “I pushed him away and went throu-gh the path he just c@m£ out from.
And then I saw her, She was about to get into a car.
“Emma!”I called out to her and she turned to stare at me
I ran towards her and pu-ll-ed her by the arm
“You said you wouldn’t leave,Why the hell are you going?”I asked breathing in heavily
“I have to! Don’t try to st©p me because I won’t stay no matter what you say”
“But you promised that you would stay,Why the sudden change of mind?”
“My father! And I never promised to stay,I never did ” she said
“Well I won’t let you leave,You are my wife”
“No am not,I only stood beside you in the church but the name on the registry is Dora’s not mine”
“I don’t care if the name on the registry isn’t yours,All I know is that I got married to you”
“Don’t make it ha-rd for me to leave Brian, Just let me go”She said as the tears sli-pped from her face
“You really want to leave!”
“Don’t you realise that is not Micheal who is hurting me more,It’s you Brian!”
“I can’t wait until the police find Micheal and what guarantee do I have that he wouldn’t have killed my father before the police finds him, The more I stay locked up in here hearing no news,I will go crazy with worry”
“Am worried that I might blame you for not letting me leave when I had the chance or worse I might hate you if Micheal do kill my father,So plea-se Brian let me go”She said and gently I let go of her.
“You don’t really love me,If you did,You would have stayed with me “I said sadly and turned to leave
“Brian……I……I do…….the guard you saw just now is the spy Micheal put in the palace, Make sure you arrest him” she said but I didn’t turn back to look at her.
As soon as I got back to the back yard,My P A along with some of the guards stood starring at me
“Your Highness,Did you find her?” he asked
“No I didn’t”I lied.
I saw the guard whom Emma had told me that he is a spy..
“gr-ab him, He is a spy”I said and immediately the other guards held onto him.
“You know what to do”Was the last thing I said before going back to the study.
I saw the letter which she had given me and I opened it
‘if you are re-ading this I will be gone alre-ady ,I don’t know how to tell you that I was leaving so I decided to write to you.
Am sorry that I couldn’t keep my promise, I have to leave to protect my father from Micheal,If you were in my shoes you will certainly do the same, forgive me if I causing you pain but believe me when I say that am more hurt, Brian take care of your self and I will always love you’
As soon as I finish re-ading the letter,I clutched it to my che-st, No matter what,I just can’t let go,I let her go like that,I thought sadly.
EMMA POV
The car which had been s£nt by Micheal st©pped right in front of a building
After hours of driving throu-gh unfamiliar roads,We finally got to our destination.
I cleaned the rest of the tears and got out of the car .
As soon as I did,Two of Micheal men c@m£ to drag me
“I can walk by my self,Let me go!”I yelled at them but they didn’t listen
Nina walked out starring at me ” You shouldn’t have come,You should have stayed with Brian”
“So you were here hiding”I asked
“Of course I had to,That stupid Brian doesn’t feel a thing for me and it’s all thanks to you”
“I did nothing,It’s just so bad that your stone of a heart couldn’t love him the way he deserve,It’s a good thing he found out the truth,people like you don’t deserve love”I said and she laughed
“That makes the two of us Emma,People like us don’t deserve love and am sure that Micheal will make sure of that,After all you are his property”She said
“What do you mean by his property?”I asked
“You will know soon,take her in”Nina said and they took me into the building
All throu-gh the way,I kept on wondering what Nina meant by me being Micheal property.
I was expecting them to take me to meet Micheal but I was surprised when they took me to a room and locked me in there.
It was dark and I couldn’t see a thing, I began to knock on the door frantically but no one c@m£ to open up
I stood by the door,Hoping that some one would open up when some one wra-pped his arms around me
“Ahhhhhh………..”I screamed
“Shhhhhhh…….it’s just me”Micheal said pu-lling me into his b©dy
“Am glad that you are here my dear”He said calling me his DEAR for the second time.
Angrily I pu-ll-ed away from him and moved back to the door
“St©p with your ru-bbish and tell me where my father is?”I asked and I heard him laugh.
He moved towards a table and turned on the light
I could finally see his face and I saw that we were in a be-d room and judging from the way it looked,I could tell that the room belonged to him.
“Your father?”he asked starring at me
“Yes my father,I agreed to come only to see him “I said
“Am sorry to say but you won’t be seeing him for now”
“What did you just say?’
“You heard me perfectly Emma, if you want to see him,You will have to be a very good girl”
“You bastard,You promised me!”I said alre-ady regretting coming here.
It felt strange,Micheal had never addressed me as his dear and now, The way he was starring at my b©dy got me feeling scared.
“I never promised you any thing but on the other hand if you promise to give me what I want I might just change my mind”
“What do you want me to promise you?”I asked and he walked towards me and stood in front me.
He was very close and it made me uncomfortable, I would have moved away if he hadn’t pu-ll-ed me to him
“What are you doing Micheal”
“Am trying to show you what I want from you in exchange of you seeing your father”He said and before I could st©p him, He k!$$£d me
It was the most disgusting k!ssever, Have always thought of him as a step brother and him doing this now only made me feel disgusted.
I tried to pu-ll away but he drew me close and he punished me by k!ss!ngme more r0ûghly
When I couldn’t take it any more, I bit hisl-ips and he let go of me
“You bit-ch!!!!!!” he yelled at me
I turned towards the door and tried to open it but it was locked
“There is a reason. Why they brou-ght you to my room,Did you think I would be so foolish and ask them to not to close it”He said and I turned to look at him
“Let me out right now!”
“You still don’t get it right? I didn’t ask you to come back here so you can see your father but I did for my self Emma,I want you and now that you are here,I will have you ,No matter what”He said starring at me lvstfully .
It finally dawned on me what Nina meant by me being his property
The bastard wants me to sleep with him, I wish I had listened to Brian…….
Now more than ever I nee-ded him.
