Chapter 19
~Lazy king of Bough~
King Alexander pas-s the letter to Cheryl.
“He declared war on all the kingdoms in the east, he got nerves. Wanting to wage war on 32 kingdoms?”, Cheryl said after reading.
” What guts does he have?He gave each kingdoms different dates”
“I see. Lazy king of Bough”
“Do you think he is Lazy?”, The king asked her.
” Yes. He is stupid too. I wonder what he is Hoping to gain from waging wars against innocent people”, Cheryl said.
“I think he is thirsty for power. I think he wants to take control over Kingdoms on the east.He must have thought we are quite powerless over here”, King Alexander explained.
” Nevertheless, I think our plan can still work”, Cheryl said.
“So what’s the plan?”, he asked her.
” ki-ss me first”, She said.
“I’m serious here”, he told her.
” I’m serious too. Just ki-ss me”
He sigh.
He drew her closer and ki-ssed her.
She smiled.
“Let’s come together and fight King of Bough on the same day and catch him unaware”, She told him.
” You mean all the kingdoms in the east should fight together at the same time and defeat that Man once and for all?”, he asked.
“Yeah”
King Alexander thought it’s a good Idea.
“So you should send him a message to come to the battle front himself if he is sure of himself”
“He won’t come”
“That’s why I ask you to make him. Write words that will challenge and anger him I as-sure you my King, He will show up”
And it hits King Alexander.
His queen is such an intelligent woman.
He hu-gged her and laugh.
“That’s a nice Idea, My Queen”, he said.
Cheryl eyes is wide open as She watched him.
He laughed.
Cheryl was surprised to see King Alexander laughing.

King Lance Laughed when he read the letter. In the letter King Lance wrote of his plan.
” King of Bough you’re in trouble”, the king said.
He had been afraid since he received that letter from king of Bough but after reading this letter from King Alexander, he was relieved.
‘King Alexander is such an intelligent man’, he thought.
He had no idea that His second choice daughter was the Br@in behind all this.

“Kayla”, Queen Cheryl called. She yawned and stretched on the bed.
No response.
” Kayla!”, She called again.
Jade came in.
“Your majesty, Kayla is not around”, She said.
Queen Cheryl sat up on bed.
” What? Kayla os not around to attend to me?”, She asked.
Jade bow her head.
“Go get her for me”, Cheryl said. She is too used to Kayla to use other maids.
” Yes”, Jade said and turned to live.
“No wait. I will go get her myself”

And that’s how She ended up watching R0m-ntic scene early in the morning. She scoffed.
“Kayla is really enjoying herself. I heed to get to my husband too”,
Jade can’t believe her master is being sarcastic even after watching this sinful scene.
The consequence of what Kayla and Owen is doing is death by slaughtering.
How can Kayla be this stupid.
” Don’t let her know that I saw her. Get some girls to help me with my bath”, Cheryl and walked away.
Jade looked ay Kayla and Owen again and shook her head. She then hurry after Cheryl

~conquering the east~
“squee-zefresh oranges for the females that will accompany the kings Later”, Queen Cheryl ordered the Kitchen head.
The 32 kings will be having a meeting in Shelagh.
Queen Aimee asked her to plan everything. Queen Cheryl really liked what she is doing. This is where she belong_Shelagh.
Shelagh accepted her fully. A kingdom where she is not discriminated. The subjects respected her.
“Sweetie”
She turned when she heard the voice.
“mother”, She said and hu-g the woman.
” You are looking pretty this morning “, Queen Aimee told her.
” Thanks”
“I can see that everything is going fine”
“Yes but the wine is not delivered”, Cheryl said.
” Don’t worry. There dare not slack. I’m sure it will be delivered soon”
“Yes your majesty”
“Some kings are already arriving. You have to sure they are comfortable in the royal inn”
“Yes, queen mother”
She is really enjoying this even though her schedule is so ti-ght this days and she didn’t have time to play around.
Even Kayla is enjoying her love life and has to time to spare to play with her. Cheryl sigh and turned to look at Kayla. She saw Kayla and Owen giving signals to each other and sending messages with their eyes.
“Kayla”, She called.
” Yes, my Queen”, She said and hurry towards her.
“Everyone can go back now. Only you follow me to welcome the Kings”, Kayla nods.
” Yes your majesty”
As Kayla walked beside the Queen, she watched her.
She noticed that Cheryl has something to say. She has a kind of mischievious look on.
‘who knows what she have in mind’
“Owen is handsome Kayla, Isn’t he?”, She began.
Kayla swallowed.
” I don’t really know my queen”, she replied.
Queen Cheryl stopped.
“You can’t tell? I think he is handsome though. Do you think he has a good temper?”, Cheryl asked.
Kayla bits her li-ps.
” I don’t know, your majesty”
Queen Cheryl continue walking.
“Here I think you two are close”
Kayla heart skipped a beat.
‘Oh devil of the east’
“We aren’t close my queen” She saw that Cheryl isn’t planning to give up so she added.
“Please don’t ask my queen”
Cheryl scoffed.
Well, she loved playing detective.
She just walked on. She had yet to decide on what to do to this her close Slave that is almost like a bosom friend.

When King Lance saw Cheryl welcoming the Kings into the great hall, he was pleased.
“Father”, She called when she saw him.
He gained more confidence after he heard her call him like that. After all, his daughter is now the queen of Shelagh. As of now Shelagh is on of the leading kingdom here in the East.
” Daughter”, he said as she approached.
Cheryl smiled.
She was happy to see him.
She looked behind him and saw mistress Karen. All the kings brou-ght their Queen but King Lance probably bring Mistress Karen here so tht she could see her.
“Cheryl, I missed you”, Mistress Karen said.
Cheryl smiled.
Seeing Mistress Karen smile, She felt somehow. After all, this woman was always frowning at her and cursing her.
” So how are you doing here in Shelagh”, She asked.
“I’m doing good.”, She said.
” Can’t you exaggerate a little uhn? You’re doing very good here Cheryl babe”, A voice said.
“Your majesty”, Mistress Karen Curtsied.
” Mother-in-law”, Alexander called.
king Lance was more smug when he saw King Alexander.
Perhaps, he has some importance.
“You don’t nee-d to come and receive us yourself”, He said.
” I nee-d to. You’re my in-laws after all”, King Alexander said.
“Cheryl, you can go rest now. The meeting is starting. You did well today”, he told her and ki-ssed her fore head.
She smiled shyly.
” Thanks”, She said.

The meeting with the kings went well. King Alexander took off his royal garment. He is so tired. They’ve made several battle plans. They have their plan A, they have plan B and also plan C in case something happened and a plan failed.
He had also taken to the queens Idea and had sent a message to king bough.
It took two weeks before he got a reply. The king of bough had showed his anger.
Alex smi-rked.
It seems the queens plan will work.

King Jack of bough is angry.
‘How dare that rat? I even killed his father’
He can still remember that though they lost that battle then, he made sure to stab king Noah with a poisonous knife before he retreated.
Jack wanted to take control of all the kingdoms of the east. That’s his grand plan.
Those in the east has a good climate and he wanted more power. He wants to be king over all the thirty two kingdoms in the east. He had tried to start with Shelagh fifteen years ago and was defeated by King Noah and his army. He gathered more army and he had trained them all this years. The coup de tat can start now. The king of Shelagh had no chance against him.
He walked to the training ground and saw that the army are not training.
He called their commander.
“Why are they not training?”, he asked.
” We are taking a short break”, the commander replied.
“Break? What’s that?What do you nee-d it for? The great day is near. Train with all you have!”
“But they nee-d the rest…”
“We can only rest after conquering the east”, he said.

~a goal~
Training is going on in all the thirty two kingdom in the east.
King Alexander is also training with his soldiers.
“During this war, we must fight earnestly. We have to conquer this war.”, he encouraged his soldiers.
Queen Cheryl arrived with some maids carrying some containers.
” I brou-ght food for you. The beverage is made by me. I hope you all enjoy it”, she said.
“Thank you, your majesty”, the soldiers said.
The queen smiled and turn to her husband.
When he saw her beautiful smile, he muttered un-der his breathe, ” temptation ”
She walk to him
“Let’s eat together”, She told him.
” So you’re here to distract me during training huh?”, he asked her.
“I just brou-ght food”, She replied blinking innocently.
” But I’m tempted you witch. Why do you have to wear red? You look as if you’re dressed to Se-duce me”, He said.
“Well, I miss you. You’ve been on the training ground for days. I guess I did not dress up for nothing. Sleep in my pavilion tonight”, She told him.
” You’re a temptation “, he told her.
” If I don’t tempt you, who will?”, She asked
“You”, he replied.
” Only you”
She blus-hed.
“I’m capable you don’t nee-d to tell me”, she said and move closer to him.
” So Xander, do you dare cone to my pavilion tonight?”, she whispered in his ear.
The king felt aro-use d when her gentle breathe graze his ear.
He swallowed an unknown lump.
“Why wouldn’t I dare?”, he asked her.
” It is just that If I come, I won’t be able to guarantee if you will be able to get out from bed for days”, he said.
“Bring it on”, She told him and gave him a wink.

Even during the soldiers Journey to Shelagh, they were not able to rest at all. They trained all night.
King Jack made them drain in the rain and used several brutal methods to train them.
” Now face each other with your weapons and fight. I want to see how good you’re “, King of bough said.
The soldiers fought each other tirelessly.
King Jack was glad.
” We will get to Shelagh tomorrow. Let’s win this fight”, He said laughing.
‘Finally, I will be the most powerful king of the west if I can conquer the 32 kingdom of the east. Then I will go back to the south and conquer all of them. I will be the only king on earth then and all the kingdoms will bow down to me’
He didn’t tell the soldiers of his plan to turn against the south. If they knew none of them will follow him because it is wrong to for someone from the same side should fight his people.
“My king. We nee-d to rest for a while. Some soldiers are sick. We can’t risk bringing this men to the battle ground. Let’s rest for two days at least”, The commander said.
” No. My victory is near. If we are able to defeat Shelagh then the other kingdoms will be a piece of cake”, He said.
“No rest. We shouldn’t tarry”, King Jack said.
” But….”
“You have to obey me”, he gnarled.
The soldiers wanted to rebel. They felt that they are not treated well. For the past fifteen years, King Jack had been training all powerful men in his kingdom,most of them against their will. They all obeyed him and trained because he threatened them with their family members and promised to rele-ase them the moment they conquer the east so that has been their goal for years.
” Some of them will not be able to make it to Shelagh. We’ve not only been travelling for days but the soldiers were also training. Travelling on foot alone can be tiresome not yo talk of training at night when suppose to be sleeping. I’m afraid most of them will collap-se”, the doctor told the commander.
“What can we do. The king had refused to allow us to rest”
That night King Jack asked them to live two soldiers that sprained their ankles while training alone in the forest. They hesitated, after all, they are comrades that trained together for fifteen years. Some volunteered to carry them on their back but the king refused and they have to live their colleagues in the forest to become food to beasts
