Zoe
Yawning I stretch my body then rise to my feet, second day of pains, I walk to my bathroom, take my bath, did the necessary then put on a blue shot and white top
” Ares?” I walk downstairs robbing my hands on my eyes ” morning ” I muttered when my gaze land on him sitting on his favorite couch, water dripping from his hair as put on a black trouser and black shirt
He didn’t reply like usual so I just sit next to him smiling ” good morning Ares” I mumble again, his gaze met mine and he smile
” what is it little mouse ”
” let’s go out ” my parents decided to send me to a boarding school before then I want to spend time with him ” let’s go to a orphanage ” he furrow his brows then sigh
” No ”
” pretty please ”
” No”
” I will ma-ssage you in return ”
” No”
” when my moon day is over I don’t mind if you eat me ” he didn’t respond for awhile and I thought I just won
” No ”
I sigh in defeat ” fine” I muttered hugging my knees to myself ” am sad Ares ”
” oh ” was his response
” I wanted to spend time with you ”
” is that so ”
” you’re mean ”
” oh am I? ”
The door bell distract me as I slowly walk towards it and to my surprise Fred stood there smiling at me ” hey” he put on this blue jeans trouser and black top that hug his ti-ght body revealing Hus muscles
His brown eyes seem to beam as he stare at me ” what are you doing here??” I asked, Ares haven’t notice His presence yet
” I came to check on you, can I come in ” nodding my head I step aside and he walk in then something surprising happened ” Mr hell huh” Fred muttered then stare at me strangely ” who would have thought you moved here ”
Ares didn’t turn to face him ” Fred” his voice cold ” long time, thought you died ”
” aren’t that easy to get rid of me hell” Fred muttered while Ares rise to his feet , their gaze met and Fred didn’t flinch, he is the first man that stare at Ares without blinking
” what are you doing in my home Fred ” Ares shove his hands into his pocket then move towards Fred ” I don’t remember me inviting you ”
” came to see my woman ” Fred muttered and I step back, things are about to get ugly, I should leave the men alone to talk
” who is your woman ” Ares asked, anger emitting from his body,Fred didn’t back off, he step closer to Ares and shove his hands into his pocket
” Zoe will be mine ” Fred said smiling ” she already is ” clearing my throat the both men stare at me
” am no body property and am off to the orphanage ” I muttered but Fred words surprise ” am coming to..wanted going there, I could drop you ”
” she don’t need your help, we decided to go before you showed up ” Ares said, jealousy in his eyes, I don’t like seeing him like that, he should know I want no one else
But it’s kind of fun tho
Ares hold my hands, grab his keys then straight to his car, closing the door, I watch him still frowning ” how did you meet him ”
When I ran out of hospital, he helped me” , Ares nod his head, didn’t look at me, just keep driving
……..
” oh no, uncle Ares doesn’t like oranges ” I chuckle as the little princess frown then look at Ares who is sitting quietly on a chair, head placed on his hands
Fred on the other hands is playing with the children, making them laugh and sharing gifts I had no idea he brou-ght
I watch jasmine move to Ares then pull at his trouser, his gaze drag down to meet hers, she lift her both hands up signaling him to lap her which he surprisingly did ” will you be my daddy ”
Ares furrow his brows then shook his head but said nothing, from his face you will know he is fascinated by the girl. When we first step into the orphanage most of the children got scared of Ares and ran to Fred but jasmine kept smiling at him ” you look sad and am always sad here” she muttered ” we could be a good father and daughter besides the children always bully me ”
” why is that ”
I had no idea why am listening to their conversation but its interesting ” they say am a weirdo with brown hair and eyes that why my mother throw me into the garbage ” tears were forming in little Jasmine eyes
Ares wipe them off ” let me tell you a secrete ” Ares lean and whisper something into her ears, she beam up then nod her head ” I will do that “I wanted going over to ask but Fred stopped me
” Zoe can we talk ” I stare at him ” about what happened earlier in Ares house ”
” I know it was a joke ” he shook his head ” I want you to be with me Zoe, Ares isn’t any good for you, you do know what he is right ”
” Fred you….” He actually shut me up with a kis-s, a kis-s on my li-ps, the whole children clapping their hands as I push Fred off me ” what are you doing ” I turn around to find Ares cold gaze on me not Fred
He said nothing nor did he do anything, he avert his gaze and continue chatting with jasmine, he isn’t happy ” I like you Zoe, the moment I set my eyes on you, I saw stars, you’re my mate ” my gaze drag back to meet Fred, is he insane?
