I was slee-ping in my room when dad called me on phone.
“Hi dad”
” Don’t tell me you have been slee-ping?”, father asked.
” Kinda, I didn’t feel like going out with the girls, so after watching my favorite movie, I just decided to rest a little”, I said.
“Well the gardener is at the house alre-ady, hope you like him as well just the way you like the new driver”
“Come on father, I like everyone you employ, I only hate them when they fail to carry out their duties”.
” See you when I get home pumpkin”
“Alright dear, don’t come home empty-handed,” I said to him, then we hang up.
I hope the gardener is cool as well, it’s long I took pictures, maybe next week, I will just do shopping this weekend.
I said to myself, heading to the garden.
From behind the person looks so familiar, so I just said, ” Hi my dad called me that the new gardener will be in the garden now, so happy I will get to see the flowers back to life, call me Nora”.
I waited for response still smiling but when he turned around, the smile ceased,I was surprise seeing Damian as my gardener.
We just starred at ourselves for some minutes.
” Damian are you the new Gardner? Or what are you doing here in my garden”.
He bent his face and raised it, ” Yes I am, I would be working here for some time but as p@rt time, hope you don’t have a problem with that”
I don’t really have a problem but am super excited his here, I would be seeing his cute face almost all the time,this is beautiful but I would pretend that I am not happy.
“Okay, hope you good at the job, bye”, I said to him and took my leave.
” Should I tell the girls or keep it to myself”, I thought about it.
“But why will he choose to work as a gardener, what exactly is happening to him, seems he has lot of secrets but don’t want to share, maybe this is my opportunity to get to know him,I just don’t want to fall for him again”.

I can’t believe that Mr Addison is actually Nora’s father, but how.
We always cross path, well I will make sure I just do my job and avoid her by all means, I can’t afford her flir-ty with me in her house, I endured her in school, meaning I can do same here.

I went to see my mom at the clinic before going home…
I had to get re-ady for the dinner I promised the green snakes earlier.
I brou-ght out my phone to take it of silent,I saw missed calls from a familiar number,” This should be Nora number, why is she even calling me?”.
“Well thank God I did not answer the call”.
I boarded a taxi to the place we are having dinner,” Seems I c@m£ late because they were alre-ady sitting”.
“Hey come over here”, Said by the one who told me about the dinner.
I walked to them and the main boss of green snake ask me to sit beside the girl.
The girl thanked me for saving her life and I just made her know I had no choice.
She was indirectly flir-ty with me, we ordered what we wished to have in the menu.

“You are lucky Damian, my only heir loves you”.
” I don’t really get you sir”, I said but I hope is not what am thinking.
“The lady you saved is my daughter and she has interest in you, so you can join us now but won’t stress you because you will be heading the boys allocated to you so you can have time for my daughter”. He said bodily.
” I guess I was invited here for a match ma-king. Well sir thanks for dinner but am sorry I don’t have interest in her, can I go know”.i said.
“You can break up with the person you are with and we compensate them,just make my daughter happy”.
” And if I say no”, I asked.
He smiled and said,” Am not asking for much, I want you to be my son in law and you must marry my daughter otherwise any girlfriend you have will answer to her and you know what that means”.
“Then no, I won’t and you can’t threaten me to have a relationsh!pwith someone I don’t love okay”
“We know your mother is ill, just accept and we pay her bills.
” To hell with you all money,I can take care of my mother myself”,I said and walked out, am so angry.
Now how am I going to face Nora in school tomorrow.

I truly like Nora but Ellie is right, I nee-d to act fast, come to think of it, why is she falling for him anyway, he isn’t nice to her in any aspects, he is no friend with her so why would she fall for someone who is not re-ady to do same.
Maybe I should start ma-king a move, she might actually like me, she c@m£ to talk to me the other day leaving him behind.
I nee-d to have her, I can’t lose her to anyone, not even my best friend I know nothing about his pri-vate life.

“I didn’t expect the test will come so soon”, said Damian.
” I don’t think you should be bothered about it, besides you are always re-ady”. I replied to him.
“What if your fact about me fails this time around?”, he asked.
“Whatever”, he added.
Then we heard the normal scream from the students when Nora and her friends walked in, other guys crushing on her.
I decided to make my move to talk to her while Damian waited with his cold face.
” Nora hi”, I said with my hands in my pocket.
” Seems your friend is still cold”, she said.
Why is she asking about him anyway?
I decided to change the t©pic.
” So how are you preparing for the test”, I asked.
She replied fine still looking at Damian who threw his face when I turned.
I was shocked when she said, “, Damian can I have a word”
He said no and about leaving when she said,” j£rk, do you want me to tell them, fine, Damian is my….”, he didn’t allow her to finish the statement when he gr-abs her hands and left with her in a hurry leaving with a question of, “What’s going on with both of them”.
I sighted Ellie who gave me a look of, I told you so.
” What if they are d@t!ng?”.
“No that can’t be”.

it’s time for school, I kept walking to and fro in my room, thinking of what I can use to get Damian attention now that his working here, I know it will be difficult for him to talk to me.
He’s really something else or maybe I should use this as an opportunity to talk to him in school, then maybe as times go on, I will think of more strategies.
I can’t believe am falling de-eply in love with him alre-ady, I can’t admit this fact to anyone else but I will do my best for Damian to admit that he loves me.
I did a little makeup and made sure I was looking so beautiful, my driver drove me to school, Piper and Ivy alre-ady waiting for me so we can go to the clas-sroom together.
The students took some pictures of us, normal popular stuff.
Then I sighted Damian with Xavier, he’s handsome.
I was expecting Damian to walk to me and not him.
Even when Xavier walked to me in other to start a conversation, my eyes were still glued to Damian.
I reply to Xavier when he said something but heavens knows I want this conversation only with Damian.
I don’t know what c@m£ over me when I said,”, Damian can I have a word”.
The j£rk said no.
” j£rk, do you want me to tell them, fine, Damian is my….”, he rushed towards me cutting me off in saying anything else, he gr-abs my hands and we left.
I saw the look on Ivy and Piper’s eyes like they were surprised seeing him of all people like this.
“I know the rumor will think we have a relationsh!p”.

” What the hell is wrong with her, she wants to tell on me”. I quic-kly rushed to her gr-abbing her hands out of sight.
We got to the school open space close to the lab, “What was that for Nora?”, I asked looking at her eyes.
” Aww I love the way you are looking at me now, I see no anger or coldness in them, I guess you can’t resist me”.She said smiling.
” That’s not what I asked you, Nora, what simply do you want from me?”, I asked her but I felt a little happy inside, the only girl who is re-ady to be with me despite my attitude, and she is indeed pretty.
“Simple let’s become friends or you face something you would regret later”.

On my way home I got st©pped by one of the students and she asked me some questions.
I smiled when answering her and then we bid goodbye, “Am fine she didn’t flir-t with me and glad to help, test is around the corner.

“St©p the car”, I yelled inside the moving car and he st©pped.
” Why is she talking to him and even smiling at her, he doesn’t look at me that way,” I asked.
“Maybe they are a couple or something”
He answered.
“Damn it, that can’t happen, he can only be mine”.
He is gone, capture her and make sure you beat her close to death.
No one stays close to my man, I commanded.
Truly, he captured her to the car and she begged for help.
” You should have stay clear from him”, I said before giving her a slee-ping injection, then she pas-sed out.
