❣?DANIEL’S POV ?❣
“Did Jane mean what he told me? Is Felicia really on here way here to see me” I asked myself thinking of how she’s going to make it here with the heavy rain coming.
“Dr Daniel I’ve gone to the bus stop and I cloudn’t find anyone there I think the person your expecting can’t make it here due to the weather conditions” Mr Gandhi said and I nodded.
“Thank you for your help Mr Gandhi” I said and he nodded.
“No problem Dr Daniel” he said and walk away back to the patients. Mr Gandhi is a local and a noble man in this village who mostly bring the injured people to our camp.
“It’s seems like there is no signal at the moment how am I going to call her. I hope she’s fine and hope she can make it here” I said in worries and regrets of leaving in the first place.
“Dr Daniel are you okay I’ve been watching you stare at the road from my end. Are you waiting for someone?” Lara asked approaching me.
“Yes Lara I’m waiting for someone and I do hope she can make it here before the storm comes” I said and she nodded.
“So it’s a she” she mumbled.
“What did you say?” I asked and she nodded.
“Nothing Dr Daniel, I just want to inform you that you’re needed inside the tent, a patient….” she said and I nodded.
“I’ll be right there, let’s go” I said and walked away but looked at the road one more time before entering the tent.
I went in and applied medicine on the patient injured leg and not long after I was done the rain started falling heavily.
Mr Gandhi brou-ght in three more people from the village who were all injured and bleeding seriously.
“What happened to them? their wounds look very serious” I asked and he nodded.
“There had an accident at the mountain slope and right now it’s impossible for anyone to use that road” he said and I got more worried about Felicia.
“So did you see the person I had talked to you about earlier? “I asked and he nodded.
“I’m sorry but I still didn’t see her. The mountain slope is now blocked and it’s impossible for anyone to pa-ss throu-ghthat road now. I’m sure she must have returned back” he said and I nodded.
“I do hope so” I said looking out the tent hoping she changed her mind and went back but knowing who Felicia is she wouldn’t give up so easily.
“I’ll return now to look for more people Dr Daniel” he said putting on his rain coat and I nodded.
I went back into the tent and me and the nurses tried our best on treating the wounds of the three persons Mr Gandhi had brou-ght.
After some work on it we were done but the rain still haven’t stopped. It showed more sign of storm coming.
I couldn’t hold my worries back so I took in the courage and intention to go look for her myself.
I put on a rain coat and also collected an umbrella from one of the nurse and entered the rain.
“Dr Daniel stop the rain is falling very heavy and it looks like a storm is coming where are you going?” Lara asked entering the rain and standing in front of me feeling concerned.
“I’m going to look for her Lara so please move away” I shouted to her hearing since the rain made it difficult to hear what someone is saying if the person wasn’t very close to you.
“Is she so dear to you that you’re risking your own life? “she asked and I nodded.
“She’s too dear to me Lara I have to go look for her I can’t sit down there knowing that she’s in harms way” I said and she nodded.
“Please go sit down Dr Daniel. I promise to tell Mr Gandhi to go with some other men in the village to look for her. I can’t watch you end risk you life” she said and I nodded.
She managed to convince me and I went back into the tent hoping the rain cloud seizes soon so they could go look for her and I myself will go with them.
The rain became to drop in its degree and the storms had stopped leaving behind just little drop page of rain.
A mini trou-gh(vehicle with a back to carry goods) stopped right in front of the camp as I was preparing to go out and look for Felicia.
A lady walked out with a luggage looking all w-et and muddy. She looked as if she had fell inside a mod pit. That was my Felicia standing right in front of the camp smiling at me.
I quickly rushed to her giving her a ti-ght hu-g not minding her she looked. I ki-ssed her forehead and smiled at her with so much excitement.
“I’m sorry Daniel” she said and I placed my finger on her li-ps.
“There’s no need to explain anything. Jane already told me everything and I believe you won’t risk your life coming here to look for me if you didn’t love me” I said and she smiled.
I ki-ssed her on the li-ps as the drop of rain showered on ours making ours both w-et.
“Come with me so you can clean up and have a change of cloth” I said and she smiled.
“I love you Daniel” she said and gave me bek on my chicks before walking.
“I love you too Felicia and my words can express how much I do until my actions tell” I said and she chuckled.
“where did you learn that from?”she asked as we both walk to the camp and I nodded.
“I’ve been practicing” I said and she laughed making me feel shy on what I said.
“You should keep practicing” she said and I smiled as we both hold hands walking along side each other.

“Hello is anyone home?” I asked knocking on my brothers door but I got no response. I used my own keys to open the door cause I think he must have gone to work.
I look around and everywhere was untidy and my bother is not usually someone who loves dirty.
I went into one of the rooms and kept my luggage.Changed into another dress I cloud work with.
I went back down stairs to clean up the house before my brother returns in the evening at the time he normally close work.
My phone rang just as I started washing plates and I pick it up because to see Mary calling.
?Hey Mary
?Hey Jessica, Alexis is looking for you. What do you think I should tell him?
?I’ve told you that you shouldn’t tell him where I am. I know he wants to ask me why I resigned.
?”But why don’t you tell him about the reason for you resigning and how are you so sure he wants to ask you only that she” asked.
?”Mary I can’t, please don’t tell him where I am okay. There’s no other reason, I thought he loves me but I found out he doesn’t.
?”I think he is heading to my house cause he just asked of you and I told him I don’t know where you are. How are you so sure he doesn’t love you?” she said and I smiled.
?”Thank you for doing that I know you won’t want to lie to him but you still did it for my sake. Can we talk about this some other time right now I’m busy” I said.
?”It’s okay. aren’t you afraid he will see you at my house?” she asked.
?”I’m not at your house anymore. I have already moved to my brothers place” I said.
?”Okay that’s good, I have to hang up now I got work to do too, good bye” she said and I nodded.
?”Okay bye….”I said and she hang up the phone.
“So Alexis wants to see me? why would he care about where I am?” I asked myself looking worried.
He doesn’t love me and now he’s trying to look for me. I won’t want to see him, I’v really been hurt by him.
I placed my phone down and continued washing dishes but got stopped by the ring of the door bell.
“Hold on I’m coming” I said walking to the door.
I opened the door and meet my big brother standing right in front of me.
“How come your here Jessica?” he asked walking in and surprised to see me.
“I just got here and noticed second brother was not around” I said and he nodded.
“Does grandma know you’re here?” he asked and I nodded.
“Not really but I’m sure she must have found out by now’ I said and he snug.
For how long have you been here he asked and I nodded.
it’s been about two months I guess I said and he snuff.
“And second brother didn’t tell me about it, Come with me” he said and I frown.
“Big brother” I called out his name in a childish way trying to make him not to take me back to grandma.
“I’m going to let you stay here but you have to go and visit grandma first before coming back” he said and I smiled.
“Where is your second brother? why does his house look all like a mess” he asked after looking around.
“I don’t know where he is. I guess he must be at work” I said and he nodded.
“When he gets back tell him I want to see him.we need to discuss on his marriage, my health is not getting any better” he said and I nodded.
“Big brother are you feeling okay?” I asked and he nodded.
“Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine. Have you had dinner?” he asked and I nodded.
“No I haven’t” I said and he nodded.
“Go and change your cloth I’ll take you out so you can have something to eat” he said and I nodded.
“But I can cook big brother. I have learnt how to cook” I said and he chuckled.
“I won’t want to be the first person to die of food poisoning, it’s better your second brother comes and taste your cooking first since he’s your favorite brother” he said and I nodded hitting his arm playfully.
“I’ll go upstairs and change now” I said and he nodded sitting down on the couch to wait for me.
?? DANIEL’S POV ??
“It’s a good thing you’re here I’ve really missed you” I said and she chuckled.
“I’m really sorry you have to stay in a hotel like this for the night. There’s no other hotel than this one” I said and she nodded.
“It’s okay as long as I’m with you I can stay anywhere” she said and I nodded.
I placed her luggage at a Conner and looked around the room.
“I think I’ll have to go back to the camp now” I said and she nodded.
“Why don’t you just stay here with me for tonight” she asked moving closer and holding me.
“Don’t worry in two days time we are going back to the city and I’ll be all yours” I said and she nodded.
She ki-ssed me and made way into my che-st and I ki-ssed her back pa-ssionately holding her by the wai-st.
My phone rang as we both ki-ssed each other and I had to disengage from the ki-ss so I cloud answer my call of which she didn’t want me too.
“I’ll sorry Felicia but I have to answer this call it’s Lara” I said and she nodded.
“why is it her?” she mumbled.
“Why does it seem like you don’t like her?” I asked and she nodded.
“Not like I don’t like her but the way you introduce me to her and the way I saw her look at me and the way she treats you it’s different from the way she treats others” she said and I chuckled.
“That’s jealousy, you’re being jealous I said and she chuckled.
“I’m not being jealous, I just don’t find it appropriate” she said and I nodded
I talked to her over the phone looking at Felicia who changed her clothes on the other side of the bed.
“Felicia I really need to go” I said and she turned looking at me putting on just her p@n-t and bra.
“What happened that you really have to leave” she asked searching inside her bag for a dress to wear.
“Something came up at the camp and my present is needed” I said and she nodded.
“It’s okay you can go. I guess I’ll have to share you with your work this two days” she said and I nodded.
“I’m really sorry Felicia but don’t worry I’ll make it up to you tomorrow” I said and walked to her ki-ssing her forehead before leaving.
“Take care” she said and I nodded walking out of the room and rushing to the camp.
