EASTWOOD HIGH.
Kimberly sighs for the umpteenth time as she walk throu-ghthe hall. She suddenly felt something been sprayed on her and look back only to see Jayden grinning.
“What the hell are you doing?”
“I thought I saw some insects flying around”
“You nut job” She hit his occiput.
“Ouch! That hurts you know”
“That was the goal you fool” She glared before walking away. He ran after her.
“But how long has it been that you’ve washed your hair?”
“Why? It’s gets on your nerves”
“Can’t you see the flies swooning around you?”
“At least they’re interested in me”
“You psycho…” He brou-ght out a lolli-pop and gave it to her. She collected it and was unwrapping it when Jay spotted Diego walking to a corner.
“Oh! There goes one person you’d like to be interested in you” Kimberly looks up and saw him she watched him till he got out of sight then she sighs putting the lolli-pop in her mouth. Jay suddenly started laughing and Kim looks at him in question.
“You’ve gone maniac?” She asked.
“I think you’re the maniac here…hey how could you seriously like someone like him? You?”
“What’s wrong with me?”
“Hey…the only good thing about you is your grade everything else is zero”
“Are you saying I’mma failure?” She asked and he shrugged.
“You dimwit!” She made to hit him but he was fast to get away from her.
“Will you just listen to me first? Can’t you do without getting violent?”
“That is my disease and the only antidote is unleashing it on you!”
“Just listen seriously!”
“It better make sense”
“Guys aren’t after girls who act wild and brute like you”
“Don’t worry I’m only like this to you…I’m not that stupid to act crazy in front of him”
“Ohhh…so I’m the pushover here uh?”
“I thought you knew”
“Seriously! Alright I got that the only way to show your love to me” He walks closer to her putting his arms around his shoulder.
“Being feisty is one…you do you think he’ll ever look at you for a second…have you ever look at the mirror?”
“Are you saying I’m homely?”
“Don’t you think so?”
“No I don’t…I may not be beautiful but I at least escaped being ugly”
“Who is it?”
“What?”
“The one feeding you lies! Who is that jerk?! I have things to settled with that person! How could he…”
“Do you wanna die?” She gave him a death glare and he back off.
“Anyways…you’ll never get him to like you if you continue like this…just give up!”
“Why don’t you leave to your clas-snow?”
“I would like to spend more time with you”
“I don’t wanna be with you so get lost”
“Hey you shouldn’t talk like that…I’m the only one who loves you truly in this sacred world”
“Tsk tsk tsk…what an idiot” She shakes her head leaving.
“Hey! Hey!! She’s always like this that’s why no one likes her…how pathetic” he itch his hair before leaving the other way.

“You’ll regret it” Verna said behind Kimberly who is taking out some books from her locker.
“I thought I made it clear yesterday…you should get lost”
“I could help you get him easily”
“And I already said i don’t need your damn help!” Kimberly said slamming her locker ha-rd getting some of the students attention.
“If you don’t scram between ten seconds you’re definitely gonna have to need these people help to get out of here” She threatens and Verna clear her throat clearly intimidated.
“You…I won’t ever let you be with him. You’ll regret this” She fli-cked her hair before marching away.
“Idiot” Kim mutters closing her locker. She was about leaving when she saw Diego about walking just past her. She quickly held his hand.
“Diego…?”
He looked at her blankly.
“umm….hi…” She said awkwardly and he snatched his hand from hers this made her lose her balance and was about falling but Diego was quick to catch her by the waist. Smiles spread on her face instantly as he held hee in his arms with her heart thumbing like crazy. He let go of her and she wouldn’t cease smiling.
“Got anything to say?”
“Um…I actually would like….if you could teach me…how to play basketball…you can right?” She asked with smiles all over her face.
“I couldn’t stop thinking of that day in the basketball court…can we…do it again?” She added. Diego started walking closer to her while she steps back until her back hit the locker. He placed his palm on the locker behind her leaning closer. Her face turns red and she bit her lower li-p.
“Why would I….” He paused taking a look at her from head to toe.

“Am I in this school… to teach you?”

“Even the sight of you irritates me don’t push me…I’m already holding it in getting tangled with the likes of you” He gave her an unfriendly look before withdrawing. Kimberly breathes out.
“What…what’s wrong with the likes of me?” She muster the courage to ask.
“Do you have to ask? Everything is wrong with you….everything” He said before leaving finally.
“That’s….harsh” She mutters.
“I really just…like you…” She mumbles.

“Onda!!!” Kimberly ran to Onda hugging her tightly.
“Kiki..”
“Hey what happened? I was worried”
“I’m sorry…something came up”
“Have you resort it? Is everything alright?” Kim asked and she nodded smiling.
“I missed you” Onda held her hand while Kim smiles.
“I know you brat…”
“But Kiki…are you okay? You don’t look too good”
Kimberly sighs.
“I’m just having a ha-rd time”
“With your crush?”
“Why is liking someone so hard? I wish I have the power to make him mine”
“If he’s meant to be yours then he’d eventually will…don’t push yourself too hard”
“When? I’m sure he clearly knows how I feel…virtually everyone in this school does…so why is he being like that?”
“I…really pity you sometimes…why did you have to like him of all guys? I don’t think he’s likable” Onda said and she pouted.
“I wonder too…but he’s just so damn cool” She gushed grinning.

Miss Ina, the English teacher keeps explaining to the cla-ss. However Jade and Jay’s attention wasn’t there as they were busy texting each other.

“What Forty!!” Jayden leaped up staring at his phone. All eyes shifted to him.
“Hey!” Jade whisper called him.
“Jason Henshaw” Miss Ina called strictly.
“Teacher…are you over forty? Seriously” Jaden asked making the students burst out in laughter.
“He’s crazy…” Jade mutters facepalming.
“Jayden Henshaw…OUT OF MY CLas-sRIGHT NOW!!!” Miss Ina roared shocking Jayden himself as he flinched.

The teacher was already in the clas-swhen Diego stepped in. Not minding the teacher he started walking to his seat but was stopped by the teacher.
“Why are you just coming?” The teacher asked.
“I don’t think it’s necessary for you to know that?” Diego replied rudely making the teacher angry.
“You’re as rude as always…go out of my cla-ss. I don’t need students like you”
“Sure…if that’s what you want” Diego said simply walking out of the cla-ss. And the students wouldn’t stop cooling especially the girls.
“He’s soo cool…this really makes me like him more” Kimberly mutters.

For talking back at the teacher he was given punishment to run 50 laps round the field. But he wasn’t the only one as Jayden was already there serving his punishment.
The gym teacher sat on a bench watching as Diego joined Jay.
“Hey…I’m Jayden…i know you..you’re Diego the weird guy my best friend is in love with” Jay said running along with him.
“So?” Diego asked with a bore tone.
“You know who I’m talking about right? Kimberly”
“I know…the pest who wouldn’t let me be”
“Hey…don’t you think that’s a little harsh? She’s has been liking you for a while now”
“Did I asked her to? How annoying”
“Still…do you have any plans on liking her back?”
“Why would I like a girl like her?”
“What’s wrong with her? She’s brilliant beautiful and smart…yeah she may be crazy sometimes but she’s really fun to be with…that’s her charm”
Diego stopped making Jay stopped also.
“Why don’t you date her then? I have no interest so stop forcing me”
“Wow…you’re really mean…so what do you plan on doing? You should at least make things clear to her”
“Who knows…since she wouldn’t leave me alone I’m thinking she might be of some use”
“What? What use?”
“What else do you think?” Diego smirk leaving him he continues running while Jay balled his fists where he stood.
“That jerk…” He gritted before running after him and on getting to him, he turns him to face him landing a heavy punch on his face. Diego fell on the floor with a loud thud.
“You…what did you just say uh?” Jay got on him grabbing his shirt.
“Why…she can be quite useful for some days…I think she’d be happy to be that much” Diego boasted and Jay started throwing punches at him not stopping till the gym teacher came to seperate them.
“What do you two think you’re doing!!” The gym hold Jay back.
“You…stay away from Kim! I don’t wanna see you near her!…I’ll kill you if you go near her you punk!!” Jay shouted as the gym teacher took him away.
“Won’t you keep quiet!! Diego follow me”
Diego spat away blood from his mouth as he stands.
“Fool…” He mutters leaving also.
AT THE RESTROOM.
“Hey isn’t Diego damn cool earlier?” Pinky asked applying li-pstick on her li-ps.
“Beats me…I totally fell for him all over again!!” Rima gushed washing her hands.
“Sure teacher if that’s what you want’ ohhh he sounds soo se-xy!!! I really wanna hear him call my name with that se-xy voice of his”
“But he always stays away from girls…only Verna is the only one close him.”
“They are siblings after all…”
“Do you think they’re dating? Remember they aren’t blood related”
“What nonsense are you spewing? Verna likes Jade everyone knows that”
“Ah right?”
“To be with Diego you’ll have to get close to Verna first that’s the only way”
“Verna is ha-rd to get along with that explains why Diego has no girl except her in his life”
“Hey there’s one…Kimberly”
“Yeah right? She also likes him”
“But Diego can’t ever like her never”
“You seem so sure”
“Hey Diego isn’t into girls like her…I overhead this but he’s into cute girls”
“Cute?? Diego??”
“Trust me…so I planned on acting cute from now on”
“You think that’ll work”
“I bet it will…let’s go we’ll be late for cla-ss”
“Uh..” Both went outside and Kimberly stepped out of one of the stalls.
“Cute?” She mumbles to herself
OUTSIDE THE RESTROOM.
“Do you think she heard?”
“She probably does…let’s go”
“Let’s go…” The girls giggled to themselves leaving.
PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE
“you really did a great job reconstructing his face didn’t you?”
“I’m surprised also…I mean how did this happened I only remember punching him once” Jay said.
“JAYDEN HENSHAW!!”The principal slam his hand on the desk making him flinched.
“He started it first…if he hadn’t said awful things then I wouldn’t have gotten so angry..and also he could just have hit me back it’s not like he couldn’t…is he a baby? How pathetic”
“Can you listen to yourself right now? Uh?”
“Mr principal don’t shout too much…we all know it’s bad for your throat”
“Is this the time to worry about MY THROAT!! you beat up a fellow human being like you”
“You may it sound like a big deal…Mr principal this happens among kids of our age these days…i must be hitting puberty…you can’t totally blame me.” Jay said while the principal rubs the back of his neck.
“Mr principal he threatened to kill me…are you just going to overlook that?” Diego said making the principal clears his throat.
“Did…did you really said that?”
“I only said that on impulse…I was angry and…I just spew rubbish” Jay defended.
“I’m just a fragile guy who can’t even hurt a fly…how can I kill someone?” He added.
“I guess you can’t hurt a fly but can damage your fellow student face…call your parents here tomorrow I need to have a word with them”
“Oh no no Mr principal…Mom would really kill me if she heard of this”
“You should have thought of that first before getting into a fight…go out you’re dismissed” The principal said. Diego bowed then smirk at Jay before leaving the office.
“Mr principal…” Jay called pleadingly.
“Out this instant!!”

Jayden was on his way back to clas-swhen Kimberly suddenly attacked him. Before he could say jerk Kimberly block his nose with stinky socks. Jay tried to get her off but she was already clung to him that he could not.
“How dare you beat him up uh! You really love annoying me don’t you?” Kimberly gritted as Jay keeps on struggling to get her off.
Onda rushed into the clas-sher eyes searching for jade. The students looks at her in digust but she didn’t mind that. She spotted him at the back and rushes over. Immediately she saw the position he was in she kept her face down unable to look at him. A girl was sitting on his laps rubbing his chest and he keeps brushing her hair.
“Ja…ja…de can I…see you for…a mo…ment?” She stutters.
“What the hell! Hey who are you? Why are you disrupting us!” The girl stood from his lap poking her shoulder.
“Cordelia stop!”Jade ordered standing up.
“Onda…what’s the problem?”
“It’s…it’s Jay….Kim heard about what he did and she’s…angry…you need to stop her…I can’t” She replied.
“What? Then I shouldn’t be standing here…let’s go”
“Babe wait!” Cordelia held him back.
“What about me?” She asked.
“We can always continue later…got to go” He gave her a quick kis-s and Onda took her eyes away.
“Let’s go” He said taking her hand and leaving the clas-swith her.
Luckily they found them and jade quickly seperate them.
Jay started breathing heavily.
“Jade…I think…I’m dying…I’m no more breathing oxygen” He said gasping for breath.
“Kim that’s enough” Jade said holding Jay who clutch to him like a little child.
“You don’t tell me what to do! I have to give that lout some senses so he could stop interfering in my life!”
“Hey I was only looking out for you…that guy isn’t the one you have no idea what he thinks of you”
“Whatever I do with him is none of your business can’t you just get it! It’s my life not yours!”
“I was only worried about you!”
“Keep that cause it does me nothing good!” Kim snapped walking out of there angrily.
“Kiki…” Onda called running after her.
“Hey are you okay?” Jade asked worried.
“That was hell…I almost died”
“What do you do again now?”
“Hey I was only looking out for her…she won’t even listen to my explanation…is that jerk that important to her? More than me she had knew for years?”
“You know how Kim is…she’s probably angry you’re ruining her chances with him”
“Ahh whatever…hey can I clash at your place tonight? I think I’m really gonna get killed if I go home” he said while Jade sighs.
