CHAPTER 2
⭐LET’S MAKE A DEAL⭐
EASTWOOD HIGH.
Thanks to one of her best friend’s silly pranks Kimberly got to school late and unfortunately she was caught while sneaking in and was made to run 50 laps by the gym teacher before releasing her.
“Bad morning…” She mumbles as she walks angrily throu-ghthe Hall. She’s currently on a mission to deal with that fated enemy of hers to vent the anger building up in her. The students pave way as she marched angrily looking for no one else but Jayden.
“Hey..Kimber you look terrible….another successful prank on you uh?” Verna another enemy of hers mocked double crossing her. Kimberly gave her a death look indicating she isn’t in the mood.
“Ohhh…you look terrifying right now…I’m scared” She taunted. Kimberly rolled her eyes and branch to the other way
“If you’re looking for Jay I saw him heading to the music room earlier” She said after her while Kimberly smirk before heading to the music room.
MUSIC ROOM.
Jayden grabbed hold of Ria’s bo-obs. She mo-ans to his mouth. He gave it a ha-rd squee-zebefore nibbling on the nip-ple . Ria squirm her body like a snake trying to hide from the sun.
“Oh sh*t” She mo-ans as Jayden’s mouth explore hers then it moves to her neck down to her chest. She grab hold of his hair interlocking it with her fingers.
“Jay…den…” She called with her eyeballs rolling in its sockets. His eyes went up slowly lust was visible in both eyes…their breathing went high and low synchronously. He smirks and one of his hands went to her mini skirt while the other grab her neck devouring her li-ps in his at the same time.
Ria gripped onto him tightly as he dipped his finger under her pan-t. She started breathing like a bulldog.
Kimberly marched in like a soldier ready to depart for war. She spots the two mo-aning and gro-aning like some fighting bees. She smirks. Removing the band on her wrist she packed her tousled hair, pull down the sweatpan-ts under her skirt then took off one of her boots. She aim it at Jayden’s head. Still kis-sing vigorously Jayden turns Ria over and that turns out to be when Kimberly threw the boot. It hit Ria straight on her occiput and like that she went down slowly with her mouth silently ajar.
Jayden’s eyes snapped forward and it came with the angry lioness’. She was breathing heavily with her eyes emitting embers of vengeance and that of madness.
“Uh oh?” Jayden itch his messy hair nervously. He had li-pstick smeared all over his face which made him look funny.
“Hi there Kimberly Jones” He grins waving.
“Yeah…hello to you Jayden Henshaw…now come here and meet your doom” She moves over to him but he was fast to took to his heels jumping over the chairs. Kimberly took the boot he threw at Ria and chased after him as he ran out of the music room.
He kept bumping into various students as Kimberly hot chase him like a police determined to catch a criminal. Unfortunately Jayden sli-pped and fell and Kimberly caught up with him. He locked him by the shirt lifting him up.
“Ouch!!!” Jayden cried out as she hit her forehead on his nose. Blood started dripping out instantly. She pulled his hair hardly and he yelped in pain.
“Kim let go!!!”
“Tell me…what joy do you derived from troubling me every blessed day uh?” She gritted pulling his hair more.
“Hey! You’re gonna pull my hair off let go you freak!!” The students weren’t much concerned about what’s happening as it wasn’t the first time.
“You think I’ll let you go after what you did uh!!” She gro-aned. Having no other way out Jayden got hold of her hand and gave it a ha-rd bite. She yelped and let him go immediately and he took off his heels.
“That bastard!” She ran after him but had to stop when she noticed who he was taking shield from. Her expression changed immediately to a calm one as she stares at him. Jayden smiles holding onto Diego tightly. He really got her.
“Do you have a problem?” Diego asked flatly.
“Uh? I…I just…you know…um…no…” She shuttered biting her lower li-p. He gave her a look from her head to the toe. Kimberly checked herself up also.
“Move!” He said and she did immediately. He started leaving while Jayden stayed glued to him as he leaves.
“fuc-k why does he have to appear now…fool” Kimberly hit herself making her way to the cla-ss. She already forgot about Jayden already.
“Aren’t you getting off?” Diego said codly to Jayden while he grins.
“Of course I am…” Jayden let go of him.
“Thanks for helping out friend” He pats him before hopping away from him. Diego dust himself and leaves also.

“KIKI!” Onda called excitedly as Kimberly walked into the cla-ss.
“Hey” She said in a bored tone taking a seat beside her.
“What’s wrong? Did something happened?” Onda quizzed noticing her expression.
“I fuc-k ed up Onda…he’ll probably lose interest in me now” She face palmed.
“Who?”
“It’s all because of that bastard! I’m really gonna be the one to send him to the netherworld” She gritted clenching her fists on the table.
“Oh what happened to your hand Kiki?” Onda asked on seeing her wounded hand which was now very red.
“I got bitten…by a really obnoxious snake”

Jade blew kis-ses as he walked briskly throu-ghthe battalions of girls following him around in the Hall. Once in a while he would twirl and lower his shades to wink making the girls lose it totally.
“Oh my Jadee you’re too much!!”
“Jade please look at me!”
“I wanna be yours!”
“Just a night!”
“You’re so hott!!” Were the remarks from the girls as they troop around him. He made some poses like a celebrity as they took his picture before finally entering his cla-ss.

Eyes followed him as he whiz to his seat. Silent murmurs and all from the girls. Some posing so he could notice them but seems he wasn’t in the mood for that as he ignored them his eyes searching for a particular thing.
“Where is my partner in crime…?” He said in a sing song.
“Oh! There he is…” He grins whizzing to where Jay is seated.
“Agh! I must be really special…this people can’t literally do without me…don’t you think they love me too much? How am I to deal with this?” He said dramatically looking at his face in the mirror after taking his seat beside Jay.
“Gosh…I’m just too good looking….no wonder they all go crazy on the mere on seeing me…God must have created me on a special day…he really took his time creating this wonderful human” He laughs boastfully.
“Are you done?” Jayden asked dryly.
“Guy what’s up…you look dull and also what’s with that?” Jade gestured to the tissue in his nose
“I did something to deserve it…” He dipped his hand in his pocket and brou-ght out a lolli-pop unwrapping it.
“You came late…what’s up” he asked inserting the lolli-pop in his mouth.
“Ahh…I was testing out a specimen” Jade grins.
“What specimen?”
“Wht do you think?”
“Hey don’t tell me it’s Ramona”
“Bingo!”
“Hey you moron!” Jay hit his occiput.
“We promised to test it out together! You went ahead to test it behind me?”
“Well I’m such an impatient guy what do you want me to do? I couldn’t let go of the Golden opportunity”
“I’m angry at you…don’t talk to me for an hour”
“Hey don’t be mad…we can just do that another time”
“How was it?”
“Sweet” He li-cked his li-ps.
“Yeah…what do I expect?” He took his lolli-pop back into his mouth.
“But I’ve got a way to make it up to you”
“Don’t talk to me”
“A very much better specimen”
“You’re not my friend anymore”
“Mint Taylor”
“Say that again”
“The girl with short legs” Jade said
“But big a-ss” Jayden completed.
“The girl with small bo-obs”
“But got a body to die for”
“The girl with plumpy li-ps”

“Our innocent clas-spresident…”
“Mint Taylor!” Jay’s fact lighten up immediately.
“She’s gonna be waiting at the broadcast room during break”
“Gosh jade…I’m so much in love with you”
“I know…I know”
“But how did you get her? I thought she was holy holy…”
“It was pretty easy…all it takes is just this face”
“You’re a bada-ss!”
“And you’re the boss!” They both giggled
“Make it memorable friend”
“Trust me on that buddy!” Jay winks.

“How come you have all these with you?” Kimberly asked Onda who cover her wound with bandaid after applying ointment on it.
“For people like me…it isn’t new” Onda smiles adjusting her gla-sses.
“Tell me do they still bully you…who is it? I’m gonna deal with that motherf_”
“Calm down Kiki no one is bullying me…how can they when I have you behind me…they’re all scared of you actually”
“I’m not that scary…” She itch her hair.
“I really appreciate you Kiki…my days in this school became peaceful ever since I met you” Onda smiles cutely and Kimberly got infected with that.
“You adorable little thing…don’t worry about a thing I’ve got you okay” She draw her cheek while they both giggled.
The door opened and Diego walked in together the Verna linking hands with him.
Kimberly beamed in smiles on seeing him.
“I think if you’re gonna get him to look at you then you’ll have to win his step sister’s favor first” Onda said making her frown.
“I don’t like her…she’s annoying”
“Then do you have any other way…Verna is the only one close to him”
“And she’s such a brat…” She paused and signs.
“Isn’t him handsome Onda?”
“I don’t know…maybe because he’s always wearing a poker face I can’t see any handsomeness in him”
“You are blind to good things” Kimberly nudge her while she giggles
“But on a serious note when are you gonna confess…you’ve been crushing for months now”
“I don’t know…I don’t know how to about it” Kimberly replied staring at him as he walks over them to his seat behind. She kept smiling like a loon. Diego discover her not taking her eyes not him and signal for her to face her front. She nodded and did so but within a second she looked back at him. Diego ignored her and just place his head on the desk.
“Stop looking now…your face is gonna wear out…you’re drooling girl” Onda said and she clean her mouth.
“He’s mouthwatering…” She gushed and Onda shakes her head.
CAFETERIA.
Kimberly was eating together with Onda when someone suddenly placed a milk on their table. Kimberly looks up to who it is and frowns.
“Peace offering” He smiles down at her while she rolled her face.
“Do you want your nose broken too?” Kimberly asked facing her food back.
“Of course not…I value it more than anything else” Jade replied taking a seat beside her.
“Hey pumpkim” He greeted Onda whose face turned red immediately.
“H…hi…ja…de…” Her voice came out tiny that one could hardly hear what she is saying. She adjusted her gla-sses well biting her lower li-p.
“I apologize so no more bickering”
“What are you? His spokesman?”
“His buddy” Jade grins.
“Can you get lost? Because of you I’m getting unnecessary attention” Kimberly said and Jade looks around only to find the girls attention already on them.
“Oh come on don’t be like this you’re breaking my heart” He touch his heart.
“Do you want me to break your ribs too?” She threatened showing him the fork in her hand.
“Alright…cool down…I’m leaving” He stood up surrendering.
“Work on your attitude babe…goodbye pumpkin” He winks at Onda who wouldn’t stop blus-hing and smiling.
“Fool” Kimberly mutters.
“You don’t have to send him away” Onda voiced out.
“Yeah don’t remind me you’ve got a silly crush on that nitwit”
“It’s not like that…it’d just be nice if we’re all friends”
“That’s explains why your cheeks are burning up”
Onda touched her cheek and smiles.
Kimberly sneers but that was short lived when she discover a presence next to her.
“What do you want?” She said rather harshly while Verna smile.
“Let’s make a deal” Verna smiles.
“I’m not interested in you so fuc-k off”
“You like my step brother right?”
“So?”
“Hook me up with Jade and I’ll help you out with Diego” Verna said confidently folding her arms.
Onda eyes wide-ned and she looks over to Kimberly expecting her answer.
Kimberly stood up and face her smiling.
“How would you like to fuc-k off?” She smiles at her.
“It’s okay…you can take your your time to think about it” Verna smiles back then Sashayed away from them. Onda bit her li-ps.
“I’m…I’m gonna…use the…rest…room” She said before rushing out of the cafeteria.
RESTROOM.
“Hey nerd” Verna called entering the restroom. She had actually followed her earlier.
Onda stopped washing her hands and made to go out but Verna double crossed her.
“I’m talking to you nerd” she said again.
“Wha…what do you…want…from me..?”
“You seem relaxed…why? Happy now that you’ve got a friend?”
“I…I gotta go…” Onda said in a rush made to run out but Verna grabbed her by the hair back.
“Ahhh! Let go it hurts!!” She cried but Verna push in into one of the stalls locking the door.
Forcefully, she dipped her head into water closet. Onda struggled to set free but Verna was much stronger. She started to become suffocated as she couldn’t breathe in the water. Verna pulled her head up and dipped it in again.
“You think I don’t know you’ve got a stupid thing for Jade uh?” She gritted holding her neck tightly.
“Do you think you’ve got the right to do that?! Jade is mine…mine alone people like you don’t even deserve to look him in the eye!” She yelled as Onda continue struggling.
She was already gurgling and wasn’t breathing too well. Verna pulled her out again and she started coughing.
“Verna please! I promise to stay away from him…I won’t even look at him so please sto_”
Her statement wasn’t completed before her head got dipped into the water closet again.
“Don’t think I’m a fool because I let you off…you know I haven’t gotta play toy ever since you’ve got a hero…maybe I should just take you back uh!”
“Listen attentively…the next time you act out of your place I’mma kill you myself got that!!!” She spat.
“B**tch” she got out of the stall while Onda sat on the floor coughing repeatedly. She coughs so ha-rd that she didn’t realize when she started crying along.

Jay got out of the broadcasting room with smiles all over his face. He straighten his neck then brou-ght out a lolli-pop unwrapping it.
“As usual…nothing is sweeter than sweet itself” He chuckles inserting the lolli-pop in his mouth.
“Oh it’s my bestie” He grins on spoting Kimberly. Swiftly, he ran to her linking hands with her.
“You stink get off” Kimberly said trying to get him off her.
“Did you get my message?”
“Tell that player of a friend of yours not to show up in front of me anymore or I’ll just kill you both” Kimberly said while he chuckles.
“But you aren’t with that nerdy friend of yours?”
“Do you like her?”
“Do I look like someone who could like someone like her?”
“Then buzz off” She shook him off leaving.
“Where the fuc-k is she?” Kimberly mumbles bringing out her phone. She dialled Onda’s number but got no response. Just then a message came in.
“Kiki I think I’m gonna leave first…i got a emergency at home…I’ll see you tomorrow”???? the message says. She sighs and another message came in.

BASKETBALL COURT.
Kimberly got to the basketball’s court but saw no one.
“How strange” she mutters looking at the message an unknown number sent to her.
“How lame” She mumbles before keeping her phone back into her pocket. She was about heading out when she suddenly stop and look back at the net. An image of Diego playing played in her mind. She had always watch him secretly while he plays. A smile creeped to her li-ps and she went towards the ball picking it up.
“If I could score a goal within three hits…then I would just go for it” She said to herself peering at the ball. Determined she threw it at the net but it flew off somewhere else. She ran to the ball and picked it up throwing it again..it went off the net. These continue for a while that she started to feel frustrated. She mussed to her hair in exasperation that it became a mess. Tired she fell to the floor breathing heavily.
“Why is it so damn hard!” She exclaimed peering at the ceiling.
“Your body is too rigid” She heard a manly voice behind her. It sounded familiar. She sprang up and look behind her only to find Diego coming from a corner. He had actually been watching her.
“Di..di…die…go?” She called shockingly.
“Pick up the ball” He said and she did immediately.
“Here”
“Throw” He said maintaining the same expression. A blank expression. Kimberly turns back at him and aim the ball to the net. The fact that Diego is with her right now is enough to make her go loco. She released a light gasped when he suddenly held her hand from behind. Her heartbeat increases as her face got heated up. His breath slowly fan her face she shudder as their body touches.
“Oh no…I’m going crazy seriously…” She thought within biting her li-ps.
“Concentrate” His voice sounded to her earring and she nodded trying to.
“Relax…don’t be so stiff” He said placing his palm on her stomach. She went totally out of it.
“Breath…calm your nerves” He added and she exhale trying to comport herself.
“Now take a shot” He said again throwing her hand with the ball. It went directly into the net.
“Wow…” Her face lightened up. He released his hold on her pocketing his hands.
“Thank…you..Die…go” She said shyly but he says nothing walking out of the basketball court. Kimberly face got heated up on remembering their proximity earlier.
“Gosh I’m going crazy!” She slaps her cheeks repeatedly grinning at the same time.
Diego met Verna who was waiting outside already.
“Don’t make me do this anymore…it’s lame” He said before walking away. Verna smiles and walked inside the basketball court meeting the excited Kim.
“So have you thought about it?” She asked behind her with her arms folded. Kim turns over to see her.
“I could give you tips to win him over…all I need is your corporation” She smiles at Kimberly who just su-ck on her lower li-ps.
Onda sat at the amphitheatre..her eyes were already red from crying. She had finally thought she’ll have peace ever since Kim saved her from Verna who makes life unbearable for her everyday but seems it was just all her wishful thinking. Maybe it’s just not her fate to be happy.
“Hey pumpkin!!” She heard a familiar voice snapping her out of her thoughts.
“Jade?” She mutters to herself and snap her face forward to see him waving at her. She let out a smile but it disappeared on remembering Verna’s warnings. She stood up and made to leave but he ran to her. Eventually he catches her by the shoulders and turns her face to face with him. She avoid his gaze.
“Hey what’s with you? Didn’t you see me? I was waving” He quizzed bending his face so their eye level are of the same. She looks at him and their eyes met.
Verna warnings rang in her ears and she immediately stepped back.
“St…stayy aw…way frrr…om…mee” she said with shaky voice and before Jade could say jerk. She ran away.
“What’s wrong with her?” Jade thought watching her run away as he itch his hair.
