“There are a lot of them”. Cindy said in fright.
“Are we gonna fight them?”. Lovely asked as he dropped his gun and pu-ll-ed out the dagger behind him.
“You don’t fight a Lion in its den, you run”. She whispered.
“Run, you mean we should run”. Cindy asked.
“They can hear us”.
“Of course we can”. Tomar said and direct a hvge dust at them but Kapella pushed her hand forward and scattered it.
“You really surprised me by turning out to be a Hybrid Arctic, There have been no Hybrid Arctic in the past except once we destroyed them before they even felt the light of the day”. Tomar said and fli-cked her f!nger.
Kapella gr@bb£d Lovely and Cindy down as a rock sh0t out of it’s position to hit them.
It st©pped above them and Kapella turned to see the rock.
It drop narrowly and tra-p them but she punched it up and it scattered into pieces causing the p@rticles to drop on them.
“re-ady?”. Kapella asked as she gr@bb£d them both.
She clenched her fist and the dust of the earth swallowed them up.
“No!”. Tomar screamed.
They all dropped into a tunnel and gro-an ed as they slide down until they bur-st out at the end and c@m£ crashing to the ground.
Cindy spat out the sand in her mouth as she turned to Kapella.
“She literally took us on a trip throu-gh earth crust”. Cindy said and Lovely sneezed.
He tried to speak again but sneezed ha-rder.
“Hey are you alright?”. She Asked
“After inhaling more than enough dust if I say yes then I’m a lier…”. He said and sneezed again.
“Sorry this is my first time, The Stealers can teleport anywhere un-derground and I tried to do same but hish I couldn’t hold it longer…”.
“And dumped us in… In. In…”. Cindy said and paused as her eyes enlarged.
“Cindy?”. Kapella called and she raises a f!nger up as her mouth opened.
She sneezed loudly and then sneezed.
“Now that’s incredible”. Kapella said
“Watch out!”. Lovely screamed as one of the Stealers appeared behind her.
He threw his dagger at her but she vanished into dust and it stabbe-d the tree.
“How far did you take us?”. Cindy asked looking around.
“um.. I don’t know”. Kapella said re-ady to attack whatever showed up.
The sands bur-st up throwing them into different direction.
They gro-an ed as they c@m£ crashing to the ground and the Stealer moved toward them as she emerged from the ground.
Kapella sprang up launching a punch at her but she blocked it.
She kicked her on her stomach but Kapella retaliated by headbu-tting her.
Tomar appears from the soil and dashed at them with a wave of sand behind her.
“Jump!”. Kapella screamed and they jumped into different direction narrowly escaping.
Tomar direct the entire sand at Kapella but she flew over and landing stamped her feet on the ground.
The dust of the ground pushed up hitting her away but she bouced on a close tree and returning gr@bb£d Kapella against a tree.
Lovely attacked her from behind as he stab a dagger into her back but a hvge sand sl@pped him down as controlled by the other Mermaid.
He struggled ha-rd as with the sand as she tried to bury him alive with it but Kapella twist her hand and the sand reversed sl@pping her away.
Tomar seized that opportunity to tra-p Kapella’s leg into the sand as the gr@bb£d her from behind.
Kapella gro-an ed loudly trying to break from her grip.
Tomar hummed loudly but something heavy landed on her head and she dropped gro-an ing.
Cindy dropped the wood she was holding and stared at Kapella.
“Is she dead?”.
The sand explode throwing them away.
“It will take more than a wood to put me down!”. Tomar roared as rose up with dust behind her.
Lovely appeared out of her dust and kicked her away.
“Run!”. He screamed gr-abbing the two girl’s hand as he jumped over a log of wood.
They turned back to see the Stealers emerging from the ground in their numbers.
“They’re gonna catch up with us”. Cindy cried.
“There’s water close, I think i can try teleportation”.
“And if not?”. Cindy asked as they st©pped at a cliff.
“Turtle Ride”. She said and gr-abbing them dived down.
They crashed into the water fall which washed them into the sea.
Kapella gr@bb£d them and tried to teleport but it wasn’t working as she didn’t know how to do it yet.
Tomar appeared inside the water but Lovely pushed Kapella away and she cut his arm with her sharp f!ngers.
A shark c@m£ out of nowhere and hits her off just as as a turtle c@m£ in front of Cindy.
Kapella beckoned at her to climb and she did.
She gr@bb£d Lovely from behind and swam to the back of a shark that swam off immediately with the turtle.
Kapella controlled the creatures with her mind to attack the Stealers as she was focused on her destination.
She gr@bb£d Cindy from the turtle and the shark bur-st out of the water throwing them away.
They landed on the sand and gro-an ed.
They looked around and saw that they were in a beach.
“I thought she was a Terrestrial Fish”. Cindy said squee-zing water out of her cloth as she got up.
“They’re Hybrids like me but they’re fake”.
“And you’re Original, Original Arctic Hybrid, Fake…um..what do you call them again?.. Well I choose Terrestrial Fish”. Cindy said.
“Can we get a Cab cos eyes are piercing into three mysterious beings thrown out of the sea?”. Lovely said.
“Leave that to the Mermaid Girl”. Cindy said.
“Hish!”.
A Cab st©pped in front of Kapella’s home and she got down with Cindy and Lovely.
“Do you pay Cab men?”. He asked.
“She’s evil but I’m good so I do it”. Cindy said as she paid the man and waved at him to leave.
“St©p advertising me evil Cindy”.
“Duh”.
“So I guess I return home”. He said sliding his hands into his pocket.
“Return home?”.
“I’ve to or Mom is gonna keep s£nding men after me, I nee-d to face my fears, I can’t run forever”. He said and she held his hand.
“I un-derstand she’s your mother and….”.
“plea-se stay away from fighting my Mother Ella, I don’t want anything that would hurt you, she’s dangerous”. He said holding her face.
“I knew that today Um….”. She said not knowing the right word to say.
“Bye then”. She said sharply and he nodded as Cindy st©pped a Cab.
“C’mon”. He said and hvgged her into his che-st as he carr-esed her hair.
“It’s gonna be alright K but you don’t have to be scared, Mother will never kill but punish me, I’ll be fine, trust me”. He said and k!$$£d her forehead.
He let go of her and entered int the Cab as she watched him leave with tears in her eyes.
“Before you find out that you a fish can swim in your tears plea-se do remember they’re also diamond and this is public ground”. Cindy said.
“Cindy, I had plans for the Hunter Woman, I’m re-ady to kill her myself but I can’t.. I can’t… She’s Lovely’s Mother I can’t neglect the fact no matter how evil she is”. She cried as she fell into her arm.
“Shhh don’t stick diamonds into my shi-t We’ll figure this out”.
Arrowood Mansion
Mrs. Arrowood could be seen swimming in the pool when Lovely appeared from the Garden.
“Prodigal son returns home”. She said stepping out of the water in her bikini wear.
Ashley handed over a towel to her and she wore it.
She turned back swiftly and sl@pped him across the face angrily.
“You’re a disgrace to the Arrowood”.
“Then st©p tagging me as one”.
“What? I thought you fortified yourselves against Mermaid’s charm or have now stoop so low to love at first sight”. She roared.
“I fu-cking fired an innocent girl with my wave gun and took her to the hospital for treatment”He said.
“You mean Mermaid”.
“She was caught in cross fire when one ran into her home, why will I take a Mermaid to the hospital, have I done that before, think mother, it’s obvious you don’t trust me”. He said.
“Watch the next word that comes from your stinking mouth”. She said.
“Or maybe I wanted you to chase me believing that I’m with a Mermaid, I so love fooling you mother”. He said walking away.
“Every single Agents deployed to that forest have not report back, what are you not telling me?”.
“Forest? I don’t know what you’re talking about because I never got into the Chopper, I can never trust Ashley, not any of my siblings, I know it was foul pl@ybecause you’ve trained us to be enemies from birth, reconcilation is not an option at the moment and by the way Where’s Roxy? “. He said and she scoffed.
He g@sped and walked away.

As Lovely walked throu-gh the Garden a hand gr@bb£d him and pu-ll-ed him down.
He gro-an ed and turned to see Dahlia in a blue go-wn.
“You know you can deceive Mother to believe because she has no concrete evidence against you but we both know you’re lying because I always know when you’re lying brother”. She said and squat low staring at his face.
That Night
Choppers land in the forest as armed men jumped down with Mrs. Arrowood.
“Spre-ad out, Find out anything and report back to me”. She commanded and the men spre-ad out with their M4A1 Rifles With thermal scope to help see in the Dark.
Mrs. Arrowood pu-ll-ed the pistol behind her and held her torch ti-ghtly as she moved forward.
She suddenly stood seeing a coagulated blood on a stone.
She looked around and could see more rocks like that.
“Retreat!”. She roared turning back but shocking enough there was no one.
Her Agents had all vanished leaving her alone in the forest.
Her torchlight fell from her hand and the dust of the earth swallowed it up immediately putting the entire place in darkness except the small p@rt the moon’s illumination is able to get to.
“Minerva, have you come to settle your debts?”. She heard a gloomy voice and turned back slowly to see a woman walking out of the darkness.
“Tomar, you’re still in existence”. Mrs. Arrowood said retreating her gun.
“The only reason I haven’t come for you is busy with Mermaids all over the world, I hold them in high esteem than humans like you”. Tomar said.
“And what could have drawn you down to the Phoenix again, the last time you showed up was when….”.
“An Arctic, El Voleuse is drawn to them and I guess you know there’s one in your City”.
“And El Voleuse knows everything about her”. Mrs. Arrowood said.
“El Voleuse knows everything about her just like the last one Anita, how did letting your cousin marry her work out?”.
“Danny 2.0 ruined the Arrowoods plan She escaped and plan ruined and I suggest you haven’t found her cause the last time we met was eighteen years ago at the Atlantic “. Mrs. Arrowood said.
“Always cunning as always Minerva, we haven’t felt her pres£nce, it’s obvious she’s dead but why do we care when there’s something much more better”. Tomar said moving around her.
“And what could El Voleuse want more than an Arctic?”.
“Don’t try to spark friendsh!pMinerva, you are indebted to me, we nee-d similar things, I nee-d beauty, voice and power and you nee-d the knowledge about Arctics and the teary diamond or just pearls of normal Mermaids”. Tomar said.

“And we always had a deal, 50 Mermaids monthly in exchange for the identity of the Arctic”.

“Cut the cra-p! Mid way you begged that you nee-ded it more than ever and you’ll pay but then you st©p bringing Mermaids Minerva because your family now had the Arctic marrying Danny or whatever he’s called, I don’t know what your plans were but you didn’t keep to your deal and I have all the right to kill you at the sp©t “.
” I know Tomar but what about reinstating the deal “.
” You haven’t paid for previous debt “.
” We were business p@rtners for years Tomar, now I’m going to pay for my debt and st©p at nothing to find this new Arctic, I saw her today, she’s nothing but a teen girl enough time to manipulate her into the life of my son “.

“Not yet, My Daughter is preparing a bride alre-ady but she doesn’t un-derstand my behind the curtain plans when I mean bride, I mean an Arctic bride”.
“Dahlia isn’t it? I so much miss the way she composes herself”. Tomar said
“I nee-d the Arctic as fast as possible so I can eliminate the current bride before Dahlia stamp her as my son’s bride”.
“Seems this your Dahlia is the second Mummy”.
“Just answer me Tomar”.
“What do you want?”.
“The Arctic”.
“She wants the Arctic”. Tomar said and the rest of the Stealers laughed.
“Pay your debt Minerva and pay the price for this one and she’s all yours, you’re going to like her, perfect match”. Tomar said and fli-cked her f!nger.
“What’s the cost?”.
“I’ll just give you a discount for the debt, a hundred and thirty Mermaids”.
“C’mon Tomar, you just finished killing my men”.
“That’s right, um I killed first set and buried this once alive but let’s see how many are still alive”. Tomar said.
The Stealers raised their hands up and men crawled out of the soil coughing out sand.
“In total sixty men gone Minerva so let just cut the chase, Fifty Mermaids to pay your debt”.
” Alright so what’s the cost of this Arctic?”.
“Arctic?”. Tomar said and the Stealers laughed out.
“Let me make this straight Minerva, it’s a Hybrid Arctic”. Tomar whispered and her eyes popped.
“That’s right so imagine the cost for the first true Arctic Hybrid, I was stunned, I didn’t believe it, we wanted her for ourselves Minerva but trade by barter should do”.
“Just name your price Tomar”. Mrs. Arrowood said.
Tomar whistled as she moved around her and st©pped behind.
“A hundred Mermaids will do Minerva or one the other hand tell me the plan of the Arrowood and the Hybrid Arctic is yours”.
“Payment Option two sounds enticing but I’ll go for one with a compromise”.
“Not again Minerva”.
“Your pres£nce here must have chased a lot of Mermaids away leaving little so let’s make it fifty”.
“Fifty… Fifty… We’re taking about a Hybrid Arctic here”.
“When I’m done she’s all yours”.
“What are you up to?”. Tomar asked.
“You don’t nee-d to know”.
“Have you seen a Mermaid that controls the sea without the singing but not an Arctic I have her”.
“Lady Benita hmm Anita has always protected her from us”.
“Do we have a deal?”.
“That’s Fifty one, Lady Benita and Fifty Mermaids in exchange for everything about the Arctic, her name, identity, family, location every single thing about her, we have a deal Minerva”.
“Welcome back to business old Friend”. Mrs. Arrowood said and they shook hands.

Kapella yawned loudly as she covered herself with the duvet.
“It’s time for school, get up, right away”. Mrs. Elijah said trying to pu-ll off the duvet.
“I’m tired Mom, my bones”. She said stretching out.
“” And what could have made you so tired? “.
” Mom I literally fought….. Um.. Nothing “. She said scratching her head.
” Are you lying again? “.
” Alright Mom up I go “. Kapella said as she rolled out of the be-d and took her IPhone 12.
She looked at the time and scoffed as she dropped it on the be-d.
” Is that…..? “.
She quic-kly picked it and hid it behind her.
“Its nothing Mom”.
“Where did you oh my God!”.
“I Um bought it”.
“Don’t even think of lying, you don’t have such money in your account or have you started selling your diamond tears?”.
“C’mon Mom, Cindy helped me and I got it”.
“Your lie does not impress me still, Just take your bath and be re-ady for school”. Mrs. Elijah said and left the room.
“Damn!”. Kapella said and dropped it angrily.
She str!pped herself n-ked and raced into the bathroom.
Meanwhile
Lovely could be seen wearing his bow tie after putting on his red suit.
A hand appeared from behind him and helped his with the hook before arranging his collar.
“Dahlia”. He said as he turned back.
“You look stunning”. She said standing akimbo.
“Thanks and what could have made caused you to be awake by this time of the day “.
“So I’ve been tagged as slee-ping Dahlia, maybe I wanted to see if you’re re-ady to speak”. She said as she moved to his front.
“Speak about what?”. He asked.

“No matter how much I try to show the sister love you still act stubborn like I’m the enemy”. She said sitting on his be-d.
“I’m going to be late for school Dahlia”.

Francis gro-an ed as his stomach rumbled and he raised his head up.
“I think i got my appetite back”. He said dropping his bag.
Lovely walked out of his room and closed the door, he turned and almost bu-mped into Roxy.

“Hey, how was your night?”. He asked adjusting his bag.
“Um.. Nightmares but I think i finally sle-pt off”. She said and he nodded.
“About yesterday um…”.
“I’m fine Lovely, I’ve suffered a lot and getting kidnapped by your mother don’t sound surprising”. She said.
“Are you returning to Spain?”. He asked.
“No, It’s better down here than the lone life, I haven’t seen my Father for a long time now, he only calls to say high while I’m held prisoner at home”. She said and he held her hand.
“It’s gonna be alright, Okay?”. He said and she nodded.
“Ain’t you re-ady for school yet?”. He asked.

“Take enough, should I call a Doctor?”.

” Don’t thank me, Mother is going to find out one day and I’ll suffer for it “. She said and he st©pped walking.
” Those things you said, Did you mean it? “. Lovely asked and they resumed walking.

“About we st©p fighting”. He said and she scoffed.
“You know it’s impossible, we’re born to conflict, Candy”. She said tapping his arm.
She paused midway and turned back.
“If fighting is the only way we survive, so he it, don’t keep me waiting I think I’ve fell in love with school”. She said walking away.
“Mom I’m off”. Kapella said as she opened the door.
“I’m almost done with Steve’s as-signment, Just a little more”.
“If you had done it for me last night I’ll….”.

“Off I go”. She said and walked out.

The window slide down revea-ling Ashley who chew a gum.

Kapella scoffed and got into the pas-s£ngers seat.
Lovely starts theignition and drove off speedily as Kapella wondered what Ashley was doing in the vehicle.
“Are you st©pping at Cindy’s place?”. Kapella asked.
“Let’s see to it”. He replied as he turned to steering.
“Are you the Cabman now?”. Ashley asked.
“I asked you to be at your best behavior Ash”. Lovely said.
“I’m trying to”. She said.
They arrived at Cindy’s home and he sound the horn.
Cindy c@m£ out with Francis and they froze seeing the vehicle.
The window slide down and Ashley waved with a creepy smile.
Francis heart raced as he stared at her face.
“Taxi.. Hop in!”. She sang.
“Ashley”. Lovely called out.
“Can’t I be friendly or have I been pinned as Miss Villianous alre-ady”. She asked.
Kapella got down from the vehicle and approached Cindy.
“Let’s go”.
“I’m not staying in that vehicle with her”.
“C’mon Cindy”.
“That girl is evil”. She whispered.
“She saved our as-s yesterday, I just can’t ignore that”.
“Lovely not us”. She whispered.
“It’s just a ride, you all don’t have to take your crises personal”. Lovely said..

The bell rung loudly for break as the students trooped out of their various clas-ses.
“I can’t just imagine we got into the same vehicle with Ashley”. Cindy said as she c@m£ out of the clas-s with Kapella.
“You were the one who told me to face my fears and not be scared of bad guys”. Cindy said.
“I just don’t like her, she’s up to something definitely, she can’t be just nice or she’s just after Lovely”.
“Here you go again”.
“She sat at the front Kapella with your b©yfri£nd, her smile was annoying “.
” She’s his Sister “. Kapella said.
” Whatever.. I’m off to refill my stomach, what do you want? “.
” My regular order, I nee-d to go, I can hear this Mermaid voices calling out to me “.

Lovely took the call from Mrs. Arrowood as he walked out of the clas-s.

“Fernando just returned into the country and wants to raise a new company at Phoenix, we were once business p@rtners at Keystone so it’s my turn to host his Family, they’ll be here to inspect the site”.
“Seriously you know our family hates….”.
“Point of correction, your siblings hate the Fernando Twin, let’s call it a reconciliation dinner,This an opportunity for us son to p@rtner with one of the biggest billionaire, I’m going to kill anyone of you who ruin it”. She said and disconnect the call.
Lovely scoffed and retreat his phone as he walked away.
Two teen girls could be seen watching him from the balcony above.
“We just escaped captivity Anna and s£nt to a school by Madison to find the Arctic not stare at some handsome”. One of the girl’s said.
“Have patience Esther I was trying to recognize the face”. Anna said as she pu-ll-ed off from the balcony
“Did you?”. Esther asked.
Anna poured the water she was holding on her palm and placed it on her Esther’s fore head thrû-sting her into a vision.
Anna could be seen standing ba-refoot in front of a market stall when Lovely approached the stall.
“Ice cream plea-se”. He said as he gave the woman at the stall a dollar note an stylishly t©uçh the girl’s hand other hand that had a t©uçh of salt.
She flin-ched and he turned to her.
“Um is all well”. He asked and she nodded.
“You looked scared, are you lost?”. He asked.
“Who are you? What do you have on your hands?”. She asked.
“My hands nothing except probably salt, I work for a salt manufacturing company down the street”. He said and she exhaled.
“Is everything well?”. He asked and she nodded.
“By the way, I love your hair, you’re beautiful”. He said and she nodded.
“You can’t lie, you’re scared, what it, I can help you”. He said.
“Someone wants to capture me”. She said.
“You mean kidnap”.
“Yes”.
“Oh my God! Have you called the cops?”. He asked.
“They’re dangerous”. She screamed.
“Hey shhh it’s alright”. He said as she fell into his arm as she sobbe-d.
Someone appeared behind and plugged a Stun Gun into her back pressing the trigger.
A stun gun works by attacking the nervous system, delivering high-voltage electricity to a b©dy.
She screamed as the electric shock caused her to shake vigorously.
He pu-ll-ed it and she stood immobilized.
“You lied”. She whispered and dropped unconscious to the ground as there was a sharp blackout.
Anna let go of Esther’s head and cleaned the tears in her eyes.
“He’s the reason I was caught, he tricked me but I’m going to have my revenge”. Anna said as she used her f!ngersto control the water on Esther’s face back to the bottle.
“What are you gonna do?”. Esther asked as they turned and walked away.
“I’m going to kill him but first let’s find the Arctic”.
