Lovely could be seen washing his face in restroom as he shook his head.
“No! No!”. He whispered and bit his lowerl-ips.
He punched the mirror angrily and it shattered down in pieces as his hand bleed.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to”. He cried putting his hands on his head.
He opened the door and walked out of the restroom as he found his way to hallway where different patient were seated.
It was a hospital.
He sat down with his head down as he shut his eyes trying to get an image of his head.
“I didn’t mean to do it, Kapella”.
“I swear I’m fu-cking idiot, what the hell have I done”. He said angrily.
“Mr. Lovely”. He heard the doctor’s voice and sprang up.
“Tell me she’s okay, I’ll pay whatever you want even if it requires every damn medical hands in that room”. He said.
“I know Mr. Lovely we’re trying our best but….”. The Doctor said and paused
“But what?”.
“What happened to the girl exactly, we might have to inform the police?”.
“You’re really eager to lose your job and feed on peanuts Doc Ezra”. He threatened.
“Mr. Lovely I really nee-d to know what happened to that girl?”.
“Does it really matter?”.
“Of course it does cos I don’t think she has more than an hour left”. He said wanting to walk away but Lovely gr@bb£d him by the shoulder and pu-ll-ed him back.
“What do you mean by that?”.
“Her cells are greatly damaged by whatever radiation she was expo-sed to, this is beyond our field Mr. Lovely “. He said and walked away.
“Can I at least see her? “.
“Yes you can, you might want to spend the last moment with her”.
Lovely rushed speedily as he pu-ll-ed open the door of a ward and entered.
He slowly closed the door behind him as his hand vibr@tion.
“I’m fu-cking done, I killed her”. He said turning back slowly to see the girl on his be-d.
Hisl-ips shock as he stared at her face with tears dripping down his.

Flashback
Mrs. Arrowood climbe-d the ladder attached to the tunnel with Dahlia when her device bec@m£ active.
“Gamma 064, Ma’am one Mermaid…”. A voice said but it was caught short by gunsh0t.
“What?”. Dahlia asked.
“Let’s go”. Mrs. Arrowood said as she hurried up.
They got out of the and looked around to see Diaz, Finn and Ashley who were struggling to get out of the flood.
“What do you see?”. She spoke into her Walkie Talkie.
“Group of women headed for the southern monastery”. A voice replied as she looked to see the airsh!pahead.
“Don’t let them out of sight and for the main time deploy two ride”. Mrs. Arrowood said and turned to her kids who were behind her.
“Where’s Candy?”.
“He went after them”.
“Weaklings!”. She cursed and turned to Dahlia.
“Let’s move”. She said and they raced off.
The Airsh!pin the air let out two bikes from it as c@m£ down with a attached to it.
“We’re losing visual of them, Boss”. The Pilot of the sh!psaid as he watched the moving images on his green screen.
“Buy time for us, we’ll catch up with them”. Dahlia said as she increa-sed her speed with Mrs. Arrowood.
The bikes landed in front of them as the airsh!pspeed increa-sed as well
Dahlia and Mrs. Arrowood dived forward and landing on the bike cut off the rope that helped the landing.
They rode off speedily as the Suzuki splashed water down.
The airsh!paimed at the running Mermaids ahead and fired missile ahead of of them forcing them to turn back and take another path but it fired missiles into a skyscr@p£r and it coll@psed on the path.
Mrs. Arrowood and Dahlia pu-ll-ed out the MP40 SMG attached to the bike and opened fire on the Mermaids as they appeared from behind.
The Mermaids dispatched into different direction as bullet hit two them.
Lady Benita f0rç£d out the water in a tank with her hands and swept Mrs. Arrowood and Dahlia from their bike.
The Mermaids seized that opportunity to escape as Lady Benita raised the water up throwing them high but Dahlia fired down and it hits her arm.
She crashed to the ground as the water from the tank flowed over her skin causing her legs to turn to fin.
She tried to rise up and Dahlia placed her foot on her che-st and hit her head with the gun causing her to pas-s out.
“Frank, tell me you know where they went”. Mrs. Arrowood spoke into her telecom as she looked around.
“I lost Visual ma’am, they cloaked themselves into the waters”.
“$h!t!!”.
Meanwhile
“Lovely, it’s me”. She said slowly taking off her mask.
“No, No, it isn’t Kapella Elijah, whoever you are st©p messing with me head?”. He roared pointing the gun at her.
“It’s me, plea-se lower the gun, I know you’re not evil”. She said..
“Just say the s£ntence Ella, tell me you’re not a Mermaid, you’re just a human who just got entangled in their business or using your faceless identity to help them”. Lovely said hurriedly as sweat formed on his head.
Kapella pu-ll-ed the arrow of the arrow in her leg and gro-an ed as it healed up.
She staggered to her feet as she stared straight at him.
“No! No! The arrow is coated with salt, how did you?”. He said but she didn’t allow him to finish as she gr@bb£d him swiftly to the wall and began to sing but he stared blankly at her.
“No, tell me it isn’t true, you’re not a Mermaid”. He cried as he dropped his gun.
Kapella was shocked as she took few steps back, her charm was not working on him.
“Don’t try to charm me Kapella Elijah, it won’t work”. He cried.

“Tell a hunter that I’m a Mermaid”. She said and he paused.

She coughed out and it was blood.

“Kapella!”. Lovely called out as he caught her from falling to the ground.

“The Wave Gun re-leases radiation that weakens the cell of creatures, we use it un-derwater for Mermaids, the water reduces the effect but I used it on land, your b©dy absorbe-d it and… and….”.
Kapella g@sped loudly as her eyes popped out.

She clenched ti-ghtly to his che-st as she felt her muscles tearing up.
Lovely could hear incoming footsteps from afar.
He hurried to the edge of the wall and strafed to see his siblings headed for that place.
He quic-kly carried her and hurried up the stairs.

Lovely held her hand ti-ghtly as the beeping sound of the machine behind compete with his sob.
“All I wanted to do was save Roxy, all that I had in mind was doing anything mother asked of me but now now Lovely you’ve ruin the only good thing In your life with your own hands “.

“Even before I get to the Hospital they might be gone but now, they’re coming right straight to me, the Chopper brings them to me”. She said and chuckled.

“Take us to my pent house at Keith Street”. Lovely told the Pilot as he rest his head on the seat.
“Lady Ashley says I should bring you to a warehouse”. He said.
“And I’m telling you, my penthouse”. Lovely said.
“I’m sorry sir, she says the only place you can find safety is the warehouse”.
“Maybe she’s right, your mother might s£nd people to your house”. Cindy said and Kapella agreed.
Lovely called Ashley and placed the phone on his ear.
“Hey are you on the Chopper?”.
“Yes, you asked your pilot to…”.
“Bring you to warehouse, yes, Mother just found out you’re not at the warehouse and she’s s£nding men to every possible place, the warehouse is the best refuge till you find a good lie like you always do”. She said.
“Have you now tag me as a master of lies?”. He asked and she chuckled.
“You know you’ll win in a lie battle Lovely, think of something before you land, this is how far I can help you”.

He paused seeing there was only two Parachute Bag.

“Take, Go!”. He said throwing one for Cindy.

They landed on the ground as the parachute covered them until Cindy pushed it off.

Kapella pushed Lovely off her as she hurried up speedily.
She squat low and puked as she closed her eyes.

“I feel like my intestine are rotten”.

Mrs. Arrowood paced left and right as she tapped her foot on the ground.

“The Agents following the Chopper just reported that it crashed in a forest but only the pilot’s b©dy was found, two people had escaped out with a parachute before it happened”. She said and Ashley exhaled in relief.
“Now I’m gonna ask for the last time, what do you have in this?”. Mrs. Arrowood said moving toward her.
“I swear mother, what else could I have done, I’m right here with you, My Pilot must have freaked out or behave in a suspicious manner, I don’t know”. She cried.
“Very well”. She and picked her phone again.
“Deploy every single agent into that forest, I nee-d to to secure the perimeter and return with them else I’ll serve you your heads on a beautiful platter”. She commanded andand disconnect the call.
“Now call that Bastard brother of yours”.

Lovely stretched his head down and helped Cindy climb up the to the t©p of the cliff and they exhaled.
“You abandoned me because you have some stuffs called Mermaid Ability”. Cindy said and she scoffed.

“You know what, I’ll deal with you when we get home so gets get going before some crazy gorilla attacks us in this forest”. Kapella said looking around.
“It’s Winter but there are no green gras-s here, talk less of trees with canopies, they’re all dried up like it’s summer letting the red h0t sun torment us”. Lovely said as he looked back.
“There’s something strange about the forest, there’s no single life, everything is dried up”. Kapella said.
“A desert Forest?”. Kapella said putting her hand around Cindy’s n£¢k for support.
“Ain’t you Mermaid, cause some flood or….”.
“I can’t feel a mole of water on this land girl, it seems like every single water have been drained”. Kapella said as she t©uçhed the ground.

“Watch out!”. Lovely screamed out pushing them into different direction as they narrowly escaped the net that would have landed on them.
They crashed to the ground and looking up they could see the airsh!pletting down nets in the air as armed men with parachute dived out of it.
“Let’s go”. Kapella said as she helped Cindy staggering up to their feet.
The nets landed on tall trees while some where able to get to the ground as they continued running.
They paused abruptly hearing the sound of bikes and turned to see them, men in black coming from the left as they opened fire at them.
“Here!”. Lovely said as they jumped over a log of wood and changed direction.
Kapella covered them as a man appeared from their front opening fire.
The pins pierced into her b©dy but had no effect as she kicked the man and his bike crashing to the ground.
“They’re not trying to kill us”.
Kapella said as they continued running.
“They’re trying to capture us, it’s my Mother’s people”. Lovely said as they hid behind a tree.
His phone buzzed and he took the call.
“Sister Dahlia I’m busy right now”. He said as pins hit the tree from different direction.
“Busy running from Mom’s people cause they have you surrounded”.
“What do you want?”.
“No it’s what you want from me Brother, Just tell me you ain’t fu-cking helping a damn Mermaid as the rumour goes and I’ll s£nd my army to put a golden bullet into the skull of Mom’s people”.
“I’m sorry D, I gotta go”. Lovely said and disconnect the call.
“They’re closing on us we have to move”. Kapella said.
“Let’s go”. He said and they took off as pins flew past them piercing into trees.
“They have us surrounded”. Lovely announced.
“Who was that?”.
“My Step sister Dahlia, no matter how ha-rd I try to hate her, I can’t”. He said as they hid behind another tree.
“Do you have a Gun?”. Kapella asked.
“I don’t think I have more than five bullets left in my magazine cli-p”. He said.
“Clear, let’s go”. Cindy said.
Lovely turned back and fired at the men as the girl’s ran.
“Lovely let’s go! “. Kapella screamed as she returned and gr@bb£d him by the shoulder.
They continued running but paused seeing the army of armed men in front of them.
Lovely raised his gun up and fired but it cli-cked only.
They wanted to run back but there was another army.
“Damn it!”. Cindy cursed looking around.
“You all have compas-sed us like hungry wolves but blind to see that you just chased the wrong Mermaid”. Kapella said and raised her hand swiftly causing a wave of dust to dash up around them hitting them away.
More men ran from around but then the rocks rose up smashing their heads against the trees.
“Kapella!”. Cindy screamed.
“No, that’s not me”. She replied.
“Of course it’s us”. Kapella heard a voice in her head and turned around as the rocks attacked the men.
Two trees sh0t out of the soil like launched missiles and destroyed the Chopper above them.
“That’s still not you?”.Lovely asked as he took few steps back.
“I think i know who”.Kapella whispered and one of the trees fell down flat as it uproot.
Hands sprout out and they jo-lt back as a woman crawled out.
Two women also crawled out from where the first two tree had uprooted from.
The Woman with scales rose up slowly as she snared loudly.
“I can see you have new friends”. She whispered.
“Do do you know this Terrestrial Fish?”. Cindy asked staring at the scales in her b©dy.
“Be mute lady, we hate humans”.
“Tomar”. Kapella said.
“Beautiful remembering my name shows how much you admire me”. She said and grinned.
“What do you want from me again?”. Kapella asked.
“That’s funny because you just waged war by bringing humans into my land, the good news is no human leave here alive, Did you see the skeletons, no, we honour by burying them”. Tomar said.
“This is no time to talk, run!”. Lovely said as he pu-ll-ed Kapella but a tree fell on their way causing them to stagger back.
“You’re not leaving here alive”.
“Non of you will”. Tomar added as the trees around began to fall one after the other.
“What’s happening?”. Lovely asked as he held on to her hand.
Woman began to crawl out of the sp©t the tree had uproot from and soon they were surrounded.
“Welcome To The Forest Of El Voleuse, Arctic Girl”. Tomar announced.
