GRAYSON POV
“Grayson, I almost forgot I didn’t tell you about my never ending dream” Legend said as he c@m£ infront me as we walk along the hallway.
“What’s this dream all about? You sound anxious about it. I’m all ears. You happened to remember this dream, that’s a good thing” I scoffed.
“In this dream, you had a crush on me and you won’t believe you tried to kill me in my dream. That’s ridiculous right” He narrated and my heartbeat skipped for a beat.
“I was trying to kill you, that’s really ridiculous. But why do you think having a crush on you is ridiculous” I asked curiously.
“Do you have a crush on me” Legend asked staring at me and I coughed.
“Sorry for throwing a question like that, I almost made you choke” He laughed and I grinned.
“Why’s a question like that coming from you” I asked and smiled.
“I also have no idea why such a question keep popping on my head. Now that we’ve settled that, I’m good” He g-asped and slide his hands into his pocket.
“Legend” Someone called from behind, we turned around and it was the new boy.
“Grayson we see later but for now I’ve got to run” Legend uttered and ran away surprisingly Axel ran after him.
“What’s going on here” I g-asped and ran after Legend as well.
“Legend what’s going on” I asked pa-nting as I couldn’t catch up.
“Axel can we talk some other time I really don’t think this is the right time to talk to you” Legend pa-nted as he stopped running same with Axel.
“What’s wrong with you Legend? Are you trying to deny the fact that we were friends in grade 6” Axel uttered as he tried to catch his breath.
Friends. I muttered in my mind confused.

“Legend he said you were friends in grade 6 but I thought we bec@m£ friends from grade 6” I asked curiously as we three sat on a sp©t.
“Axel and I weren’t friends in grade 6. We were just cl@$$mates although he’s the clingy type of cl@$$mate” Legend corrected.
“You’re hurting me Legend. We used to be very close friends. You left Big Star when we were in grade 6. I never knew you relocated to Los Angeles. I looked everywhere for you, luckily you’re here in Rock Prim” Axel narrated.
“Why are you following me around? You’re ma-king me feel like a babysitter once again” Legend gro-an ed and I chuckled.
“Wait a minute, Legend you used to babysit him” I tea-sed laughing.
“Who’s he babysitting? I’m same age with Legend. I really don’t have that much time to reminisce on our childhood now that I’m here let’s start a fresh” Axel said boldly and stood up.
“Only you wanted to reminisce on that” Legend uttered almost in a whisper.
“My name’s Axel, nice to meet you both” He said coldly offering an handshake.
“I really don’t like clingy friends but I won’t brush you off because you were once friends with Legend. My name’s Grayson” I said politely receiving his handshake.
“Hope we become best buddies. I noticed Rock Prim, have bullies who ridicule the weak a lot. I can’t team up with bad@$$ dudes like that. I will like to be on your team” He requested and Legend rolled his eyes.
“What do you think Legend? One student is left to complete our team so what’s your opinion about him” I asked curiously.
“I promise to make our team win in whatever game we’re on. Although I can’t promise to behave” He said coldly and I sm-irked.
“Axel you’re on. I don’t reject friends, I only reject those who reject me so let’s do this. This camping is going to be fun because our team got the best of best. Two beauties who are very good in social activities and two handsome dudes, one’s a nerd while the other is a semi genius good at sports while me, I’m all roun-der” Legend g-asped and we all laughed.
“Hope you don’t pick a fight” Legend added with a smile.
“I’m not the petty type” I cut in.
“Me neither” Axel uttered and we both stared at each other.
I can feel it alre-ady, he’s very troublesome and he looks like someone who’s into something never gives up but go for it. I won’t have a problem with that if he doesn’t try to be possessive of Legend. I thought staring at him.
The three of us head back to cl@$$ and the whole school went crazy because our collab is the best. Three most handsome dudes in Rock Prim.
“Legend who do you even think you’re? I was told you’re trying to hit on my girlfriend” Vick threatened as he ru-bbe-d shoulders with Legend and walked to our front.
“What girlfriend” Legend asked sarcastically and Vick c@m£ closer to Legend.
“Melody. You dare hit on Melody” Vicky threatened as he pushed Legend’s shoulder, in a blink of an eye a thun-derous slap landed on Vicky’s right cheeks.
“How dare you talk to Legend in that manner? Didn’t your father teach you not to speak to the middle guy. What the nerve? I’ve only been here today but I’m seeing so many annoying je-rks. With the look on your face one can easily tell that Melody isn’t your girlfriend, go around bluffing like that and you get beaten black and blue. When next you plan on picking on someone, you nee-d to have proper look on the faces. Move it @$$hole” Axel said sarcastically and pushed Vicky to the side. Vicky couldn’t utter a word.
“You’ve gotten what you deserve” Legend g-asped coldly and we walked into the cl@$$.
I must say, Axel isn’t the one Legend used to babysit. He’s really bold. I muttered in my mind obviously impressed.
“Axel thank you for that earlier. He was beginning to get on my nerves alre-ady but are you sure you will be fine to go home alone. Vicky isn’t going to let this slide. You obviously humiliated him Infront of everyone” Legend reminded.
“Axel might nee-d some @$$istance when going home” I suggested and he scoffed.
“That won’t be necessary. My driver will come pick me up, don’t worry about Vicky, he can’t stand a chance of winning when fighting with me not even with his friends” Axel said coldly.
“Oh Grayson I forgot to tell you, Axel’s filthy rich. That’s why he’s a br@t” Legend sneered.
“It’s really obvious in his personality” I said smiling.
“Legend your phone’s ringing” Axel reminded and swiftly Legend took the call.
“Excuse me let me take this call” Legend said and walked to other side of the cl@$$ to the window side.
” I will be right there, give me some minutes” Legend half yelled as his face expression changed.
“Legend what’s going on” I asked curiously as he ran back to his desk.
“I will tell you everything when I get to the hospital” He g-asped and gr@bb£d his bag then ran out of the cl@$$.
“Hospital? Who got hospitalized” I uttered out worriedly and Melody gave me a curious look.
“Do you think it’s something bad” Axel asked concerned.
“I have no idea” I muttered out worriedly.

MELODY POV
We’re done with our morning cl@$$es, I stared at Legend’s desk and he wasn’t there. It’s two days now he’s abs-ent from school.
The school camping would be taking place in two weeks time and I have no idea what’s going on with Legend. He’s not taking his calls neither is Grayson willing to tell anyone what’s happening to Legend.
What if something bad really happened to him? I muttered in my mind staring at his empty desk.

“Legend don’t you get enough sleep. You sleep in cl@$$ like you don’t sleep at night” Mr Richa-rd scolded.
“I’m sorry sir. I just don’t seem to un-derstand anything you’re saying” Legend g-asped scratching his cheek as the whole cl@$$ boost into laughter at his statement.

“Legend let’s have lunch together” Grayson offered and Legend rolled his eyes looking away.
“I don’t want to eat with you. You make me look like a very nau-ghty and silly dude” Legend pouted.
“Come on Legend” Grayson said softly holding Legend’s shi-t gently.
“Who cares if you make me look silly. Let’s go” Legend g-asped and they boost into laughter.

“You miss him, don’t you” Jasmine asked snapping me out of my thoughts.
“I used to watch him from afar without his notice but it didn’t matter as long as I saw him everyday. The way he behaves, the way he cracks jokes, the way he walks, talks, smiles, eat and even do silly things in cl@$$. Those were things I saw as a blessing in disguise but now he’s not even in school” I muttered out as my eyes bec@m£ teary.
“Legend might have been an ugly @$$ dude but he made this cl@$$ a bit fun. Now that he’s not here everyone definitely misses him and his slee-ping addiction” Jasmine affirmed and I stood up from my seat.
“Where are you going” Jasmine asked curiously and I glared at Grayson.
“Follow me and do as I say” I said seriously and walked to Grayson’s desk, gr@bb£d his hand and dragged him out of the cl@$$.
“Jasmine gr-ab Axel’s hand and follow me” I shouted and dragged Grayson to the top roof.
“Melody what do you think you’re doing” Grayson asked curiously and I walked closer to him.
“Melody, here’s Axel” Jasmine announced as she brou-ght Axel with her.
“I can’t just seat and wait for answers to fall on my lap-s so the both of you should better start talking before I lose my cool” I said seriously glaring at the both of them as I raised one of my eyebrows.
“Melody this isn’t right. This is called personal har@$$ment and blackmailing because what you’re asking of us. We also have no idea what the answer is so don’t push it” Axel said sarcastically and I stepped on his foot.
“Ahhh! Take your foot away” Axel winced and I stepped away.
“Melody you’re also friends with Legend so why come to us for answers” Grayson hinted and I glared at him.
“You thought I haven’t tried getting in contact with him but he’s not taking my calls. Grayson you’re both close and I’m pretty sure, you live close to each other so you must know what’s going on” I yelled.
“Stop yelling, you’re going to hurt my ears” Axel said bluntly.
“We’ve also tried reaching to Legend but he’s not picking up” Grayson lamented.
“Why do you think Legend is avoiding everyone? Have you tried visiting him at home? Did something happen at his house” I asked curiously and Grayson looked at Axel.
“Go ahead and tell her. After all she’s also Legend’s friend” Axel uttered.
“Legend’s mum is been hospitalized but no one knows what her illness is and Legend is no where to be found” Grayson explained.
“He’s no where to be found and you didn’t report it to the police” Jasmine cut in swiftly.
“Exactly” I affirmed.
“The police don’t have to get involved in this. Legend is always like this. When he’s sad or troubled he goes somewhere far where no one can find him” Grayson uttered sadly.
“Will running away change the situation he’s in? He’s only ma-king those who care for him worry. How on earth are we going to comfort him if he’s no where to be found” I uttered frustratedly.
“His mum’s illness might be a serious one that’s why he ran away” Jasmine added.
“I think so as well” Axel concurred.
“Is there anything we can do to help? Maybe financially or bringing breakfast or bathing his mum. I know the nurses can handle that but it will be more…” I suggested and Axel cut in.
“If they have financial issues do you think I wouldn’t do anything but when you speak of bringing breakfast, Legend have never introduced you to his mum so how’s she going to trust you and bathing her, do you think the family will let you do that. Grayson and I weren’t even allowed to see her” Axel said coldly.
“You’re right about that but we can still be of help in one way or the other”I g-asped.
“Let’s just stop bringing suggestions and wait for Legend to show up. Because if Legend finds anyone at the hospital without his permission. He’s really going to lose it” Grayson uttered seriously.
KAIDEN POV
“Mum I promise to make sure you come out of here soon in good health” I uttered and sniffed holding mum’s hand.
“Kaiden have they seen a donor” Mum asked in a low tone.
“Don’t worry about that Mum. Just concentrate on getting better” I said smiling.
“Kaiden you have to answer me” Mum said slowly.
“Not yet Mum but we’re working on it” I said softly and tears roll down from mum’s eyes.
“Kaiden you haven’t been missing cl@$$es right? What about Legend? He has been going to school right” Mum g-asped and tears roll down my cheeks.
“I haven’t seen Legend for the past three days now but I know he’s in his room. Mum you expect us to go to school after seeing you in this situation. Going to school and pretending to be concentrating, we’re only lying to ourselves if we do that” I uttered slowly.
“Kaiden you and your brother can’t miss cl@$$es because of me. It will affect your grades” Mum g-asped in a low tone and Legend batched into the room.
“Kaiden let’s talk” He said seriously.
“Legend you’re finally here. I just asked Kaiden of you just now” Mum said smiling and Legend walked to her and held her hand.
“I’ve missed you so much mum. Don’t worry Mum, we will do our possible best to give you the best treatment. Luckily, your boss @$$isted with your hospital bills. Mum you have to promise me that you will be fine” Legend uttered softly placing mum’s palm on his cheeks.
“You’ve lost weight. Haven’t you been eating” Mum asked curiously and Legend stared at me.
“I have Mum. Kaiden made sure he always makes breakfast for the two of us” He said smiling as tears escaped his eyes.
“Mum we will be right back” Legend added and we went out of the room and got into the elevator. Luckily it was just the two of us in the elevator.
“Legend you finally showed up” I g-asped looking away.
“I rushed here immediately I got a text from the hospital” He said seriously.
“What text” I asked curiously.
“Kaiden don’t even think about it. What are you planning on doing with your life? Are you crazy, did your scre-w loose somewhere” He yelled and the elevator was about to open but he closed it and pressed multi-ple numbers.
“Pour all the curses on me, I really don’t care but I must save Mum. The replies from the hospital is really pissing me off. We can’t wait for mum to lose her last breath before we do something” I shouted looking away.
“Mum nee-ds a kidney transplant and you’re definitely not that donor so don’t even think about it” He said seriously.
“Why can’t it be me? I’m very healthy” I exclaimed.
“Yes you’re healthy but you were once a neukemia patient. Do you want to die? You know perfectly well that you can’t donate your kidney to Mum that’s p@rtially suicide” He said seriously.
“You’re not doing it and that’s finale. You don’t want me to report this to Mum or the hospital. I will think of something” Legend said and the elevator door opened and he walked out.
“I’m losing patience” I g-asped in a low tone as tears roll down my cheeks.
