” Mr Elias dela questa , you are going to carry that basket like the good boy you are and come with me ” Jessa his best friend said as they walked out of the bakery .
” You know despite how small you look, you sure have the boss lady attitude ” Elias tea-sed and she sma-cked his head making him laugh .
Jessa had been his bestfriend ever since he nee-ded one , they’d met when he was 13 and he could bodly say they’ve been friends for 6 good years .
She’d been supportive and un-derstanding so far .
Although most people think they’re dating , he’d always laugh about it Jessa was like the sister he never had .
” I’m on my way too school , I won’t be staying long it’s not like I attend cl@$$es that much ” Lenora morreti said as she catwalked into her shiny pink car and drove out on the streets .
Her guards gave a nod at each other as they went after her in their own car .
” I said I’m on my way , where exactly are you ?” Lenora said setting her Bluetooth as she drove with for-ce .
She drove into the street ” what are you even doing in such a disgusting area ? Lenora asked as she made a face .
Elias and Jessa walked at the other side of the road and as she drove her car with for-ce ,the dirty water splashed all over them staining them from head to toe .
” Jesus ” Jessa g@sped in shock .
Elias watched the car drive away and he cursed un-der his breath .
He’d recognized the car that splashed the water all over them .
” Oh my goodness so this is what we get for not ri-ding flashy cars ? Jessa asked laughing and Elias felt bad for her .
Why was life so unfair , majority of the rich folks always acted like they owned the world ,and the poor had no say in it .

” Nicole what are we gonna tell Mom when she gets back , she’s definitely going to get mad at you ” Katleah feared for her stepsister .
She knew just how unfair her mom had always been towards Nicole .
They’d lost so much money due to those eggs that the government officials had ruined .
” I don’t know Katleah , zeta is going to get so mad at me ,I don’t know what I’m going to tell her ” Nicole said ru-b-bing her face .
” Tell me what ? Zeta said coming in with a frown on her face .
And as if the devil had plans to finally ruin her life ,her father also entered the same time .
His eyes looked red from probably having too much to smoke ,but he looked quiet sober .
Nicole ru-bbe-d her face in panick ,it would have been better if he’d come home drunk like other nights ,at least the beating wouldn’t have been as serious as what they’d do to her now .
” I asked a question Nicole ? Where is the money from the eggs you sold today ? Zeta asked .
” Zeta …I huh . ….” She ru-bbe-d her ne-ck in fear
” I …the government had finally sold off the place to …a rich man and …” She was saying .
” Carlos ask your daughter what nonse-nse she’s saying before I fu-cking loose my mind ” zeta yelled .
” I’d tried to plead with them to give me time to at least sell the eggs ….but they’d got angry and ran the bulldozer over the shop ….” She said out of pannick .
” You lieing bit-ch ” zeta scream as she gra-bbe-d her hair ti-ght making her Yelp in pain .
” Carlos this good for nothing daughter of yours thinks she can pull a fast one at me ,where is my money ” she yelled as she slapped her .
” Mom stop it , it’s not Nikki’s fault ,it’s that emotionless man at the ….’ Katleah pleaded and zeta stopped what she was doing and turned to Katleah .
” You went to the market to sell eggs ? You went to that dirty place ? Zeta asked as she saw red .
” Nicole you animal ” Carlos said with hatred as he kicked her on the Stomach .
” Dad …zeta I swear I didn’t sell the eggs …I swear ” she cried and Katleah tried to stop her parents as they beat Nicole black and blue .
She kept pleading and pleading and when they didn’t pay heed ,she just let them abuse her ,she was used to it anyways .
” You won’t sleep in this house tonight ,I’d make sure of that .

” Carlos take your filthy daughter out of the house this instant .” She Screamed .
” Dad you can’t do this to her ,she’s your daughter ” Katleah cried .
” Shut the fu-ck up you br@t ,go to your room ” zeta yelled at her daughter .
” Mom ” Katleah cried as Carlos pulled Nicole to the door and threw her out then banged it shut with a loud noise .
She sat on the floor with her back leaned on the door as she bit her l-ips ,her black hair covered her face as she hu-gged her knees close little sobs escaped her mouth as she broke down completely .
” Why was she not wanted by anyone ?
Why did her mom abandon her ?
Why did her own biological father hate her ?

” The meeting should be tommorow Celine ,I don’t think I want to do that tonight , I’m staying in doors of cause ” Daniella said as she typed on her laptop whilst making a call .
” Oh c’mon Ella you work too much, join us tomorrow tonight , Stefano and his boyfriend Mike would be there “Celine said excitedly .
” Celine I’m in no mood for clubbing ” Daniella chuckled .
” Please …baby girl ” celine added .
” You’re just the sweetest thing alife ” she heard Franco said followed with a se-ductive chuckle and her face went pale .

There stood her mom and her lover eating each other’s faces

She didn’t un-derstand her mom ,for goodness sake the guy was just 2 years elder than her .

” Danny ” her mom called and she turned .

” I …will mom ” she said as her eyes watered .
” You’d better do ” she snapped as her phone rang .

She sat back on the chair as she cried bitterly .
Her phone rang again and she picked it sniffing back her tears .
” My offer still stands Ella ”
” I’m on my way just se-nd me the address ” she said as tears rolled outta her eyes .
Maybe getting enough drink in her system would solve the issue .

” God I give up , grand pops I’d just die from breathing heavily ” Manuel said and Tobias burst out laughing .

” The image I just imagined of you twer-king should not be seen or heard by anyone ” Manuel said and they both burst out laughing .
” So how are things with your college girls ? Tobias tea-sed .
.” Nothing new ….got slapped last night , it wasn’t my fault , I told her it was just s-x just to wake up the next morning to her cooking breakfast for me ” he said and tobias chuckled .

Lenora glared at them and just ignored .

” At least he comes over so we get to see him , Marco doesn’t even live his life like he has a family ” Tobias said sadly .
” Well we get to see his life on the pages of a magazine ” Lenora answered without looking away from her phone .
” That’s not enough Lenora , family is very important ” Tobias answered .
” Do you think he’d come grandpa ? Manuel asked .
” I don’t know son ,no one knows how his mind works . I wonder where he his and what’s he’s doing right now .

On the chair at the opposite end a guy clad in black sat down tapping his feets on the floor as he smoked from his pipe.
His sleeves pulled up , few of his black dress shirt bu-tton undone and showing off his sp-otless skin .
His formal pa-nts wasn’t belted and his s-xy hair w£t and falling over his face .
He dropped the pipe showing his fin-gers where lay four gold rings .
He stared at the guy who coughed out blood with no emotions .
His icy blue eyes staring dee-p into the man’s soul , his pointed nose and his pink ki-ssable l-ips .

” Let me go … I’ve told you I had no idea about their plans to betray you ” the man cried in pain .
Marco raised his hands and his men stopped their @$$ult .

Marco looked at his men and they gave a nod knowing what to do .
He walked out of the toture room as his phone rang .
” Hello I’m on my way to the club ” he said to his friends.
He was going attend the dinner at the morreti’s mansion but before that he nee-ded to see the guys .
