Kimora’s hand got hurt as a result of the fall and she winced hurtfully before looking at the face of the person but he’s masked, only his eyes are visible
His visible eyes reminded her of someone and her mind went to prince Jimin, just exactly how Jimin’s eyes is, she made to look at the eyes of the slee-ping guy on t©p of her again but Cory held him up and carried him in his arms
“Why is he addressing him as his highness?” Ginelle wondered
” He’s…. He’s my master, my noble master… And I love addressing him like that, he’s just tired that’s why he’s like this… ” Cory said awkwardly and faced Kimora who’s just getting up with Ginelle’s help
” I’m sorry miss, hope you aren’t hurt?” He asked
“Oh… No I’m fine, it’s fine” Kimora replied though her hand hurts like crazy
” I’m sorry once again” Cory said and left quic-kly with Jimin in his arms
The people started dispersing and Kimora inhaled
“That’s surely the prince, the fact that he fell asleep here is an evidence.. his narcolepsy” Kimora thought slowly and Ginelle hit her lightly
” eonni! ” Kimora said
” Why will any normal person fall asleep like that”
” It’s a bad illness” Kimora replied
” By the way how’s the palace doing?, I heard the rumours that prince Jimin is more handsome than prince Cal, how true is that huh? ” Ginelle asked
” Well….. His face is shinning like million stars, and his eyes are so beautiful, like the sunset” Kimora replied, picturing Jimin in her mind
” Whoa!, He must really be handsome!, Well that aside, is that br@t still bothering you?, That ugly duckling” Ginelle said and Kimora smiled, knowing she’s referring to Suzy
“No, I can manage don’t worry about me, at least they feed me and I have a place to sleep” Kimora replied and Ginelle held her face
” If she bothers you don’t hesitate to tell me, I’ll come to that palace and give her a good beating” she said seriously
” I know you’re a troublemaker but can you plea-se not step into the palace?, The king will kill you if you t©uçh his princess” Kimora said seriously too and they both laughed
” Well I don’t mind dying for you cos you’re all I have… It’s ha-rd slee-ping in our small house alone and I always miss you, plea-se, just be ok huh? ” Ginelle said, ru-bbing kimora’s cheeks
” I un-derstand, you have to be ok too and…. You told me you got a job, you haven’t told me what it is” Kimora said and Ginelle smiled
” You don’t have to know now, I’ll tell you later” she said
” eonni…. ”
” I promise” Ginelle said and Kimora nodded
“The strange things kept happening to you right?”
“Yes, just an hour ago I got bitten by a snake and my blood burnt it to ashes, I didn’t feel any pain from the bitten area too, more strange things kept happening” she replied
” It’ll be fine, you’ll be fine ok? ” Ginelle said..
” I know, I’ll be fine” Kimora said and di-pped her hand into the money purse, she brou-ght out some of the coins and di-pped it in her own purse then gave Ginelle the remaining one
“You’re giving me all these?”
“You helped me to collect it anyways, I have less things to do with money cos I eat in the palace, you still have to feed and cloth yourself” Kimora said and Ginelle hvgged her
” I love you Kim-Kim”
” I love you Gin-Gin” Kimora replied and they laughed
” Don’t forget, tell me if that ugly duckling bullies you again” Suzy said
” Sure, I nee-d to return to the palace right now and the next time I come, you’re definitely gonna tell me what your job is” she replied and pe-cked Ginelle before rushing off
Ginelle smiled sadly, watching her till she’s out of sight
“Can I really tell you what I do for a living?” She muttered and heaved
” Kimora…. Are you really not a human like grandma Gemma said? ” She thought.

Royal palace**
” Here you are, I’ve been waiting since forever” Janis said Immediately Kimora entered the palace, Janis is waiting in front of the maids chamber
“Janis…” She smiled, going to him
“Where have you been?, Tania said you went to deliver a painting” he said
” That’s true, aren’t you going home? ” Kimora asked
” You don’t want me around? ” Janis said
” Oh.. no no no… That’s not what I meant, I mean… It’s getting dark alre-ady so… ” She said slowly
” I plan to sleep in the palace tonight so I could watch the stars with you” he replied
” Jinjja? (Really?)” She smiled
” Yes”
” What about br@yden?” She asked
“He’s writing as usual, into stories again” Janis replied
” I’d love to have a copy of his book, by the way I have to join the maids in ma-king dinner, I’ll see you when the stars come out, I’ll meet you by the fence” she replied
” Ok, I’ll be waiting” Janis replied and Kimora left

Prince Jimin’s room**
“The heavens should help, how come it got worse?, My son sle-pt off in a the marketplace?, what if he didn’t use the mask?, You should have let him go in the palanquin” queen Sera said, looking at Jimin who’s still slee-ping on the be-d
“I tried to persuade him that do that your highness but he insisted on trekking” Cory replied
” You called yourself his personal b©dyguard, you should have known what to do to make him agree, can’t believe you’re s-en-seless” Suzy said and Cory went quiet
” He told me he went to various treatment places in France but they all couldn’t cure it after taking tons of medicine, is it a curse then?, Was my son cursed with this illness?, It doesn’t seem normal he has been battling with it since I gave birth to him, and he’s allergic to rain water too, is that another curse?, My dear son” Sera lamented
” I witnessed the day a drop of rainwater t©uçhed him, it was a pitiful sight” Cory said ..
” Keep quiet! ” Suzy said
” Suzy st©p” Sera replied and Suzy rolled eyes
Royalty entered the room and Suzy flared up
“I thought I told you to stay away from my brother, what are you doing here in his room”
” Queen is he ok? ” Royalty asked worriedly.
” He’s fine, his illness is at it again, he’ll wake up soon” Sera replied and Royalty sighed then looked at Cory who has a look of worry on his face
“Get out” Suzy said
“Suzy…” Sera replied
” Her pres£nce makes me feel uncomfortable” Suzy replied
” I’ll take my leave your highness” Royalty bowed and left the room.

King’s chamber**
He’s currently in a meeting with his men including the ministers and generals
“The rice supply was st©pped from going to the city” king Jung said
” Your majesty, who’d dare st©p your orders?” Minister Joo said
“Queen Rachel though she has been punished, the supplies will be doubled and will be distributed tommorow morning” King Jung said
” Yes your majesty”
” The King’s festival is coming up some days to come, i hope it’ll rain before that day or on that day” King Jung said
” I summoned the shaman as you requested your majesty” minister Joo said and the royal shaman c@m£ in
” My respect your majesty” she bowed
“What did you see?” King Jung asked
” Your majesty I saw a dark cloud and many people un-der it, hoping for rain but it didn’t rain till a creature appeared un-der the dark cloud and the clouds immediately let down rain” the shaman replied
” A creature? ‘ king Jung said
” Yes, it’s not a human but it has the appearance of one, a powerful mythical being, if she attends the festival, it’ll rain that day” shaman replied
” Who’s she? ‘
“Her face was not revealed your majesty, it was covered by the dark cloud and I think there’s a reason for that, I tried to use the fan of light to b!ow away the cloud from her face but I almost lost my sight, her face.. is hidden” shaman replied
” A non-human? ” King Jung said as his men murmured among themselves.

Cal’s room**.

Cal laughed loudly after Darrin told him about Jimin’s sleep in the marketplace
He laughed so much that he had to hold the table ti-ght. “I knew it, he’s still battling with the illness, that bastard I just have to get rid of him” he said
” But that guy, Cory seems not easy” Darrin said
” Are you easy? ” Cal said, giving Darrin dangerous looks
” No I’m not” Darrin replied
“When father dies, Miryang belongs to me, it’s my rightful place and I’m the rightful owner as the son of Rachel, not that filthy son of a concubine” Cal said, smiling
” What’s the next step your highness? ” Darrin asked
” I’ll tell you soon” Cal replied

Jimin’s room**
The night has set in alre-ady when he opened his eyes slowly then spranged up
“Jimin you’re awake” Cory said beside him
“Did I…. Sleep off again?, In that rowdy marketplace? ” He asked slowly and Cory went mute, meaning yes
Jimin’s tears fell immediately and Cory wiped them
“You’re crying again”
“I just can’t help it, I’m weak and not fit to be a prince don’t you think?, How can a prince sleep around?, I have many weaknesses and illness and I’m…” He said and st©pped, remembering he fell on someone
“Did I fall on someone?” He asked
“Oh.. yes!, That maid, but she’s ok” Cory replied
Jimin closed his eyes ti-ghtly and heaved
“I nee-d to go see the stars” he said, standing and Cory started dressing him up

Kimora’s room*”
She finished ma-king dinner with the other maids and she c@m£ in after eating
She applied medicine on her wounded hand and tied it with a blue piece of clothe
“All done” she said, standing up
“The prince… Narcolepsy” she said and took her medicine book
She searched for where she had written everything about narcolepsy and when she found it, no specific drug but…
“Kiwi fruit and jujube can help reduce the rate” she thought, dropping the book
“Jujube and kiwi, I should go into the forest and search for the them, if I make the medicine, will he take it from me?, Well I’ll try first but right now I nee-d to go see the stars” she smiled and left the room
She walked down the path that led to the back of the palace and surprisingly she met Prince Jimin and Cory on the way
“Your highness! ‘ she bowed respectfully..
“The maid from earlier” Jimin said
“We used mask, she’s not supposed to know it’s us” Cory whispered
” Oh… ” Jimin said, noticing her tied hand
“Is there a wound on your hand?” He asked
“Your highness it’s minor” she replied, still bowing
” You said she’s not wounded, she obviously got it from the fall” Jimin whispered to Cory
” I’m sorry your highness” Cory replied
” Jimin? ” Janis said, coming over
“Hyungnin! ” Jimin said brightly
” Guess you’re on your way to see the stars again, star lover” Janis said
” Yes brother, you didn’t tell me you’ll be slee-ping in the palace tonight” Jimin said
” Well I planned to do that just an hour ago, I enjoy watching the stars with this cute girl here” Janis said, holding kimora’s hand
” You both are friends?” Jimin asked
“Yes, she’s closer to me than br@yden” Janis whispered and Jimin smiled before looking at Kimora again
“We’ll get going” Janis said
“Ok, see you in the morning” Jimin replied and Janis left with her
He pu-ll-ed her to the fence and faced her
“You should climb first” he said
“No go first” Kimora replied
” Oh oh, stubbornness doesn’t apply here, climb first cutie” Janis said
” I’ll obey you tonight” Kimora replied and started climbing while Janis held the ladder
When she’s alre-ady sitting on the fence, he climbe-d up too and sat beside her
“The stars are extraordinarily beautiful tonight” she said, looking up at the starry sky
“I know right, but why do you love the stars so much just like Jimin? ” Janis asked
” Prince Jimin loves the stars?” Kimora said
“Of course, he has loved them since he was younger” Janis replied
” Whoa!, Well I love the stars cos to me they’re the most beautiful things that ever existed” she replied
” No they’re not, you are” Janis said
“Sh0t!, It’s late alre-ady are you trying to make me blus-h by this time of the night? ” She replied and Janis smiled
” You’re beautiful” Janis said
“Gomas-seumnida ahjussi (thanks sir)” she replied with a bow, ma-king funny faces and Janis laughed
“Oh!, The di-pper!” Kimora said, pointing at it
Janis looked up and nodded. “Whoa!”
“It’s beautiful right?” Kimora said, staring with interest
“Sure” Janis said, staring at her
“To me you’re the most beautiful sight on Earth” he thought and continued staring at Kimora who’s busy staring at the stars with a big smile on her face
“Did you hurt your hand?” He said, noticing her hand
“Oh this?, I… I fell and hurt it slightly but don’t worry I applied medicine and it’s just a matter of minutes before it’ll heal” she replied
Janis held her hand and sighed
“Don’t get hurt again ok?” he said
” Yes sir! ‘ she replied loudly and that made him laugh
She returned to staring at the stars and felt glad that such beautiful things exist
Since she knows herself as Kimora, she has been in love with them and can’t just st©p
Janis head suddenly landed on her shoulder and she looked at his face, he’s slee-ping alre-ady
“Sleepyhead, he c@m£ to watch the stars with me but instead he sle-pt off on my shoulder, well I’ll enjoy the view alone” she smiled..
” They must be so close” Cory said, st©pping with Jimin to watch Kimora and Janis
They’re actually just coming back from where they went to view the stars from
“I know right?, Let’s go” Jimin said, leading the way in

Queen Rachel made sure she positioned the powder well on her palm before knocking the door
She has been locked in since the king’s order and right now her only wish is to kill Sera and her son but she has somewhere more important to go
She knocked the door and a guard opened it
“I nee-d to pee” she said, surveying the guards with her eyes
There are a total of ten guards there
“Yes your highness, I’ll lead you” their leader said and Rachel quic-kly blew the powder into the air, they all sle-pt off and she rushed out of the place
She covered her head with a cloak as she stepped out of the palace throu-gh a secret route
She walked for over thirty minutes till she got to where she’s coming to
The door opened and she entered the old house..
“Lioness I’m here” she said and a woman appeared before her
Black robe, curly short hair, pretty face, green eyes, her face exudes powers as she settled down on a chair
She’s a witch who works with the power of Lion and that’s why she’s addressed as Lioness
“I knew you were coming” she said in a bold dark voice
” there’s a problem” Rachel said
” Your rival’s cursed son is back?’ Lioness said
“Yes, and you know how much I hate him, that’s why I employed you to curse him since he was born” Rachel said
” The curse is still on him, you don’t have to worry about your son, Cal Jung will be the future King of Miryang, no one will want a sick king like Jimin, not even Jung Mal himself” Lioness said
” Is that true?”
” Trust me but…
“What?” Rachel asked
“I can feel a pres£nce in the palace that’s trying to interfere, I mean a powerful pres£nce, not human” Lioness said
” Who’s it?”
” Her face is veiled anytime she’s revealed and that makes it ha-rder, there’s a powerful strong aura surrounding her” Lioness said
” What do we do?”
” Leave that to me” Lioness replied, smiling slowly

Next morning**
” Why are you suddenly searching desperately for kiwi and jujube?” Tania asked, roaming the forest with Kimora who’s searching keenly for the two
“I nee-d to help the prince, though the two can’t st©p it, but it’ll lower the level of it” she replied
” But the two seems to have gone extinct, we’ve searched for over an hour let’s go back” Tania replied
” No, let’s search for two more minutes” Kimora replied
” That’s what you kept saying since we c@m£, I’m fed up” Tania complained
” Ok go back to the palace I’ll search alone” Kimora replied.
” How can I go back without you when we c@m£ together” Tania replied
“Then st©p complaining” Kimora said
” You’re a nut job seriously” Tania said and st©pped, her eyes wi-de-ned
“That’s a kiwi tree!” She exclaimed, pointing at it
Kimora turned to her direction and saw it, a big smile covered her face
“I knew we’d find it!” She said
Tania started rushing to the tree but some steps to it, it’s like something turned her upside down, she went up and started dangling in the air
“Tania!’ Kimora screamed, watching as an harsh wind threw Tania around in the air
“Tania what’s happening!” Kimora screamed fearfully and right in front of her eyes, the kiwi tree caught fire and burnt down
The wind st©pped and Tania fell on the ground, bleeding from the mouth
“Tania!” Kimora shouted and rushed to her, she’s bleeding from the mouth alre-ady but she’s still conscious
“I’m….I’m…I feel….weak” she said and lost consciousness
” Tania no!, You can’t lose consciousness you’re too heavy I can’t carry you!!” She screamed
” Quit trying to help prince Jimin, it’s a useful warning” a de-ep female voice said and it echoed throu-gh the forest
Kimora looked around and found no one, the kiwi tree is still burning
“What just… happened?, Someone help!!!” She screamed
