Burning affection episode 2 & 3
Kimora slowly took the watering can and started her slow walk into the garden
Suzy’s face formed into a satisfactory smile as she watched her. “I’ll be the one to kill you just wait” she thought
Kimora stepped into the garden and as the strong scent of different flowers hit her nose, she can feel blood running down her nose alre-ady
She t©uçhed the blood and looked at it on her palm and that instant, she can feel something coming out of her ears and it’s surely blood
She started becoming weak as she we-t the flowers slowly, her eyes started becoming drowsy and she tried to hold her breath so she won’t have to inhale the scent again but it’s Impossible
It happens that she’s not capable of holding her breath for even a minute
She coughed loudly and blood c@m£ out of her mouth and dr!pp£ddown on her robe, staining it badly
“My …. My head” she muttered, feeling pains right there as the three places bled heavily
She bent slightly and the watering can fell off her hands since she’s weak alre-ady
The blood dripping from her nose dropped on p@rt of the flowers and Immediately her blood t©uçhed the flowers, the flowers in that p@rt burnt up completely as if someone set fire on them
“My….. My eyes…” She said as tears c@m£ out of her eyes too
She started going down slowly till she fell on the ground and lost consciousness
Princess Suzy smiled wickedly before entering the garden and her smile grew wi-der when she saw Kimora unconscious on the ground
“If there’s a way to steal your beauty I’d gladly do that, it’s not right for a maid to be more beautiful than a princess” she said and frowned
Her frown intensify when she saw the flowers her blood burnt up
“Did she set fire on the flowers or something?, How dare you! ” She ranted and when she looked back and saw some p@rt of the flowers were cut too, she grew wild with anger
“Guards!” She yelled and four of them rushed in
“Take her away and lock her up” she ordered and unconscious Kimora was taken away

King Jung Mal’s chamber**
“You’re not allowed to attend Jimin’s welcoming p@rty tomorrow” King Jung said to queen Rachel who’s sitting in front of him
” I guess Sera c@m£ to tell you that alre-ady, well I have no business with her son’s welcoming p@rty but it’ll be more fun if I attend” Rachel smiled
” It’s a royal order from me, you are not allowed to attend!” King Jung said
“Your highness” Rachel bowed
” What if I promise to comport myself and not cause troubles, it’s not bad if i decide to honour my step son’s welcoming p@rty” she said and though she’s aware that what she just said is not true
“Rachel!, Everyone knows you in this palace as a big trouble and that is why they all avoid you, don’t attend the p@rty.. you and Cal and that’s final! ” King Jung said and stood
” But your highness…..
“I’m going to rest” King Jung said and entered the inner chamber
Rachel stood from her seat and inhaled. “I really want to attend and just destroy the p@rty, I can’t stand his welcome p@rty going well” she thought sadly

The maids chamber**
” Have you searched the sto-re?, Maybe she’s painting drawings there? ” Lady Ambrosia asked the maids looking for Kimora
” Yes, but she’s not there” they replied
“She’s not in her room either and she’s not sitting on the palace fence where she usually sits to watch the moon every night” Tania said worriedly
” Where could she be?, In the forest? ” Ambrosia said
” No my lady, she doesn’t stay late till night in the forest I know her well” Tania said and one of the servants rushed in
” If you’re looking for Kimora then she has been locked up” he said
“What! ” Ambrosia and Tania said
” Yes, princess Suzy ordered her to we-t prince Jimin’s flower garden and she bled a lot, she destroyed some of the flowers too and that’s why princess ordered for her to be locked up” the servant said
” Princess Suzy again” Ambrosia said
“How could she tell her to we-t flowers when everyone in this palace is aware that Kimora is allergic to the scent of flowers” Tania said worriedly
“What’s going on?, Why are you guys not working with the other maids?, Headmaid what’s going on? ” Royalty’s voice said from behind
” Your highness! ‘ they all bowed
“Tell me what’s wrong?, And besides where’s Kimora?” Royalty asked
” She was locked up by princess Suzy” Tania replied
“What in the…..” Royalty said and held her head
” Suzy loves giving me headache” She said
” She told her to we-t flowers and…
“we-t flowers?, When everyone knows her condition” Royalty interrupted and got serious
” Lead the way to the cell” she said to the servant who bowed and obeyed immediately
They got there and saw her in one of the cells, Orbit is beside the cell, looking at her.. she’s still unconcious
“Get the key” Royalty said and Suzy appeared with guards behind her
” The key is with me, open it if you can” she said with a smug smile
” Suzy let her go” Royalty said
“This is none of your business so just leave this place!” Suzy barked
“Get the padlock cutter” Royalty ordered and the servant went for it..
” What are you gonna do?, You don’t dare cut the padlock” Suzy said
“What if I do? ” Royalty replied
” This wench destroyed a lot of my brother’s flowers, the flowers I’ve been taking care of since Jimin travelled, now if he arrives tommorow and finds some of it has been destroyed what do you think will happen” Suzy said
” You know she’s allergic to the scent yet you s£nt her there, that’s the height of wickedness” Royalty replied and the servant brou-ght the padlock cutter
” Don’t you dare cut the padlock!” Suzy said
” Cut it, I’m ordering you now as the second princess of Miryang, cut the padlock” Royalty said
The servant cut it Immediately and the cell door opened
Orbit and Tania rushed in with lady Ambrosia and Kimora was carried away
Suzy c@m£ closer to Royalty and raised her hand to sl@p her but Royalty held it
“Don’t dare” she said
“Let go of my hand” Suzy replied
“Did you just try to sl@p my sister?” Cal said , just coming
“Ugly prince stay away from this” Suzy replied
“Thank your stars that you didn’t succeed in sl@pping her, I’d have cut off your hands” Cal said
“As if you can” Suzy sneered
“Are you ok?* Cal asked Royalty
” That’s none of your business” Royalty replied
“I don’t want to see you in my brother’s welcoming p@rty tomorrow” Suzy said and left hurriedly
Royalty faced Cal
” I told you to st©p calling me your sister!” She said
“But you are my sister! ” He replied
” But I hate you! ” She yelled
” I know” he replied bitterly
“Stay away till you and mother decide to change” she said and walked away
” You hate me your biological brother… But you like Jimin your step brother, that’s enough reason for me to hate Jimin” Cal thought

Maids chamber**
” She’ll be fine” Tania said after cleaning the blood on her nose and mouth plus the ears with a we-t towel
Kimora was placed on the be-d and she’s still slee-ping
“She’s just strong, princesses Suzy is always so mean to her” Tania said
” I haven’t figure out why she hates her so much” Ambrosia replied.
” Well my friend will be ok before tomorrow, and I also can’t wait for tomorrow” Tania smiled
” Cos of prince Jimin? ” Ambrosia said and Tania nodded..
” I and Kimora were employed here as maids after he travelled so I’ve never seen him for once but I heard he’s so handsome” Tania said
” Well yes he is, he travelled since he was sixteen and back then he was so handsome and cute, no doubt that he’d have grown more handsome, he spent four years over there alre-ady so he’ll be twenty by now” Ambrosia replied
” So…. How old is prince Cal?, Is he older than him? ” Tania asked
” No, they’re same age” .
” How come both princess are same age and both prince are same age when they have different mothers” Tania said
” Like I heard…. When queen Rachel was pregnant with prince Cal in the palace, king Jung secretly impregnated queen Sera outside the palace and when they gave birth, it’s coincidentally the same day” Ambrosia said
” So prince Cal and prince Jimin have same birthday?” Tania said shockingly
” Two years later, queen Rachel got pregnant with Royalty and at the same time, queen Sera got pregnant with Suzy outside the palace, that was when King Jung Mal brou-ght queen Sera into the palace as the second queen and queen Rachel hates her immediately” Ambrosia said
” So queen Sera was really a royal concubine before she bec@m£ queen” Tania said
” Sure,… Nine months after she c@m£ into the palace, she gave birth to Suzy and that same day, queen Rachel gave birth to Royalty” Ambrosia said
” What!, The princes where born on same day and the two princess were born on the same day too… But they hate themselves… That’s… Crazy” Tania said shockingly

Next day**
The palace is filled with so many activities alre-ady cos of prince Jimin’s arrival that’ll soon happen
The maids are cooking and tidying up everywhere and everywhere is getting settled though in the middle of all these, prince Cal and queen Rachel are just angry and thinking of ways to ruin everything
Kimora woke up in her room and smiled without opening her eyes
“Smells like my room” she thought, inhaling the scent of ink and medicine but when she remembered she’s supposed to be in the cell , she spranged up and her eyes wi-de-ned, it’s morning alre-ady
“Lady Ambrosia and Tania must have saved me again, what can I do without them” she said, tou-ching her che-st
” Angels in human form I love you both” she said before getting down from the be-d
” I lost a lot of blood last night, I should take some herbal tonic to replenish my lost blood” she said to herself and went to her table where varieties of medicine bottles are sitting
She took one of them and shaked it before pouring it into a cu-p, she drank it and stretched herself
“Yes!, I feel better” she smiled and entered her small bathroom, she took her bath quic-kly before coming out to dress up in her second robe since she has only two
She rolled up her hair into a bun and applied black gel then on it then she coloured herl-ips
“But why did the flowers burn up when my blood t©uçhed it yesterday? ” She wondered
” Maybe it’s insignificant” she thought and stepped out of the room
She walked down the hallway that led to the kitchen ..
“Oohmm!” Someone suddenly said, appearing in front of her
She held her che-st and cringed
“You scared me!* She said
It’s Janis, the son of the king’s s£nior brother whose name is Morris Jung
Janis is actually a twin and his twin brother is br@yden
“Hi cutie!” br@yden said, appearing too
Though they’re both close to her and friendly but she’s closer to Janis
“Bowing to your highness” she bowed
“I hate when you address me like that, call me Janis” Janis said
” And call me br@yden, I’m not a prince so addressing me as your highness is out of it” br@yden said
” So you both are expecting me to call you by your names when you’re the sons of the king’s elder brother, br@vo!, I’m not re-ady to die by the king’s sword, you both c@m£ to welcome prince Jimin ” she said
” Yes, I’ll see you around” br@yden said with a cute smile and left
” Well…why are you always growing more beautiful?, You look even more beautiful today” Janis said
” Oh he’s here again with his compliments, re-ady to make me blus-h” Kimora said, fanning herself with her hands
“It’s so ha-rd here with princess Suzy right?” Janis said seriously, stepping closer and tou-ching her hair fondly
“I can manage, you know I’m strong” she smiled, looking up at him
Janis smiled and t©uçhed her cheek
” I trust you” he said
“I told you to st©p doing that your highness, it tickles me” Kimora chuckled
” You’re so cute, so much that I can’t help it” he replied and Kimora smiled
“I made a new medicine yesterday…gosh I forgot to sieve it, it’d have lost it’s potency, I’ll have to make another one” she said
” Medicine goddess” Janis said and she smiled
” I nee-d to go join the other maids, I’ll see you around your highness” she said and rushed off to the kitchen
” Kim-Kim, you’re awake” Tania said immediately she entered
” Yes, and don’t bother to ask if I’m ok cos I am, what should I do” she asked
” Join Tania and make the candies, prince Jimin loves it so there must be no mistakes” Ambrosia said
” Yes my lady” Kimora replied and rolled up her robe arm
“Let’s get to work” she smiled.

Some hours later**.
” The palanquin that went to get the prince will soon arrive, everything is set” lady Ambrosia said
” I can’t wait” Tania said
” I hope he’s as handsome as they’ve been saying, I hope it’s not just exaggeration” Kimora muttered
” The prince is here!…gosh he’s so handsome!” Some maids said, rushing into the palace
“He’s really here” lady Ambrosia said as queen Sera c@m£ out of the palace with Princess suzy
The palanquin carriers entered the palace and dropped it gently and out of it c@m£ the most handsome man
His eyes are beautiful like the stars, his face is gorgeous and sp©tless, he has a gorgeous beautiful stature too and the smile on his face is just so cute!
“eomma (mother)” he smiled and rushed to Sera who wi-de-ned her arms
He hvgged her ti-ghtly
“adeul (son)” Sera said, hvgging him more
“Mother I missed you” Jimin said gladly, finally breaking the long hvg
Sera held his face and smiled
“You’ve grown more handsome, my son is now a man” she said and Jimin smiled.
” You can say that again mother” he replied..
” I missed you more son, I missed you” Sera said, hvgging him again
“Oppa! (Elder brother)” Suzy smiled
” My cute little Suzy?” Jimin said and she nodded before rushing into his arms
“I missed you so much, thanks for coming back, and as you can see, I’m not little anymore, I’m now eighteen, I’m a grown up” she replied
” I know, I missed you more” he replied
Another handsome dude walked to Jimin and stood beside him, he bowed respectfully.
“Oh mother, he’s the guard who was employed to guard me in France but he choose to follow me home and here he is, his name is Cory” Jimin introduced and Cory bowed again
” Welcome to Miryang” Sera said
Suzy looked at him somehow and started debating on weather to hate him or not
“It’s a plea-sure to come here your highness” Cory smiled
” Let’s go in” Suzy said
” Sure” Jimin replied and they started walking in
” Bow, it’s rude to make eye contact” Ambrosia said to all the maids standing by the hallway and they all bowed but Kimora felt the nee-d to catch a glimpse of him again
He’s too perfect!
She raised her head and her eyes met with Jimin’s, she quic-kly turned her face down
“Is he a human or an angel?, His eyes are so beautiful” She said inwardly.

The King’s chamber**
“I’m back your highness” Jimin bowed immediately he entered
King Jung Mal smiled shortly. “Your journey wasn’t stressful right?” He said
“No your highness, just that I was slightly seasick, the cold was much” he replied and Jung smiled
” You’ve always been like that, enjoy today it’s yours, have fun with everyone and like you know, this palace is unpredictable, you can’t predict what’ll happen in the next minute, avoid clashing with Cal” he said
” Yes father” he smiled.

The hall is full of noblemen and the king’s men who c@m£ to welcome Jimin and they’re all seated alre-ady, chatting in merriment
Jimin c@m£ in and they all bowed in respect, greeting him from every angle
“I’m glad I met the palace in peace, and I’m glad to be back” he said and they all smiled as he took his seat, Cory is always beside him so he sat beside him
“Son of the great king” Janis said, sitting in front of him
” Hyungnim (elder brother)” Jimin said, smiling brightly
” Great Jimin, welcome back” br@yden said
“It’s good to see you again”
” How was France?” Janis asked
” Best place to be, and thanks for the letters” Jimin replied brightly
” By the way you grew up into an handsome young man” br@yden said
” You can say that again br@y” Janis replied
“The narcoleptic son of a royal concubine is back” queen Rachel said, entering the hall
Everyone turned to the devil as she made her loud entry
” Rachel I think I said you’re not allowed to disrupt this p@rty* Sera said, standing up
“Don’t do anything funny queen, step out” Suzy said, standing up too
” What if I don’t? ” Rachel replied arrogantly
By now, the maids are carrying the meals and wine into the hall in a long line and Kimora is in front of the line, carrying a jug of wine on a royal tray
“Get out of here” Sera said
“Can’t believe a lowlife is talking shamelessly to me, how disrespectful” Rachel said just when Kimora st©pped beside her
Rachel gr@bb£d the jug of wine and poured the contents on Sera’s face …
“Mother!” Jimin and Suzy chorused with wi-de-ned eyes…
