Just then Vanni spranged up immediately covering her mouth as she ran into the bathroom vomiting
“Are you okay Vanni?” Mrs Gotlied asked ru-bbing her back, as vanni was throu-gh vomiting
Vanni shook her head thus she uses the water to clean her mouth
“Hmm, hope is not what am thinking” Mrs Gotlied Said as she and Vanni walked away from the bathroom
“What are you thinking mom?” Vanni asked with a confused face, she looked so exhausted and drained of strength
“That you are pregnant” Mrs Gotlied Said
Vanni looked at her for some time and boast out in a mocking laughter
“Seriously mom, so if someone vomits then the person is pregnant?” Vanni asked with a curious face
“Not really but as a woman is possible and you are married” Mrs Gotlied Said
Vanni face changed immediately her mom mentioned she is married
“Not anymore mom, am serving Sylvester divorce papers soon” Vanni said with a stiff and serious face
But de-ep down, only she knows what she is going throu-gh
“What!, You want to get a divorce?” Mrs Gotlied asked with her eyes wi-de open
She can’t believe her daughter wants to divorce her husband
“Yes mom or you want your daughter to live in a home where she shares her husband with another woman?” Vanni asked with her brows crea-sed up
“Not really my baby, but what if Sylvester is never gonna marry Monica” Mrs Gotlied said c@r£ss!ngher black hair
“Mom she is pregnant, she Carry’s his child and that’s what sylves mother ever wanted so she will definitely make Sylves to marry Monica, mom I can’t still believe this” Vanni said as she started crying again
“Is okay, don’t cry, everything will be okay” Her mother consoled her
“How mom, how am…” Vanni couldn’t finish her s£ntence because she held her mouth running off to the toilet to vomit again
“She is definitely pregnant” Mrs Gotlied muttered to herself as she watched her run off
***ONE WEEK LATER***
Vanni was quitely sitting in the doctors office while he went throu-gh his files
“Mrs Vanni the test result is out” Dr. Jack said with a smile as he hand over the paper to Vanni
Who took the paper with a slow pace
She has been seriously sick the past few days, so her mother demanded she come see the doctor
Vanni looked at the doctor’s face as if to take his permission before going throu-gh the papers, when she saw the doctor was just smiling at her
She quietly darted her attention towards the paper studying it
Seeing the contents of the papers her eyes wi-de-ned, her hands was shaking slightly
She couldn’t believe what she had just re-ad
“Congratulations Mrs Vanni, you are a month and two weeks pregnant” Dr. Jack said smiling so brightly

Vanni walked inside as she slumped on the cushion looking exhausted
Her mother walked down stairs when she heard someone walked inside the house
“Mom why now?, why is it like this, why?, Why mom?” Vanni asked knowing her mother was behind her walking towards her
“What’s wrong baby, what did the doctor says that is wrong with you?” Mrs Gotlied asked as she sat beside her
Vanni reply her as she hand the papers over to her
“Omg, I knew it, you are pregnant” Mrs Gotlied said smiling
“Yes mom I am, this is suppose to be a happy moment but why do I feel sad about?, Why do I feel like am been given the worst gift” Vanni said as she covered her face with her palms crying
“Shhh, don’t say that, a child is the best gift given to us by God” Mrs Gotlied said
“It would be a best gift if a father is involved mom” Vanni said looking at her mom
“Of course a father is involved, you are going to tell Sylvester about this” Mrs Gotlied said
“Never mom, Sylvester will never know about, am raising my child alone” Vanni said ru-bbing her stomach
“What!?, You are planning to keep the father of your child in the dark?” Mrs Gotlied asked with her brows crea-sed up in surprise
“Yes mom and don’t even try to change my mind, Sylvester alre-ady has a woman and child besides him, so this child am carrying is mine alone” Vanni said with a serious tone
“What!!?, No you can’t do this Vanni, at least tell Sylvester” Mrs Gotlied suggested
“No!!, am leaving this country next week after serving Sylvester the divorce papers to sign” Vanni said as she got up picking her hand bag
“And I want to be left alone” Vanni said as she walked away ascending the stairs
“Vanni I forgot to tell you that Sylvester was here this afternoon when you left for the hospital!” Mrs Gotlied said looking towards Vanni
But Vanni didn’t say anything as she went into her room and slumped on the be-d with tears dripping down her eyes
“Don’t worry baby I will take care of you” Vanni said with a sad smile ru-bbing her stomach

“You have to be eating alot of fruits, it nourishes the baby” Mrs Oscar Said to the lazily sitted Monica
“Really mother?” Monica asked
“Yes, but you haven’t told me how it happened?” Mrs Oscar Said with her curious expression
“Come Over” Monica said as she whispered something into Mrs Oscars eyes in which she boast out in a heart warming laughter
“You really got your ways my dear” Mrs Oscar Said still laughing
Sylvester was sitting at the other side of couch going throu-gh his l@pt©p
He doesn’t look good, he looked like someone who has he drained of blood and sleep
He has come to accept the fact that Monica is carrying his child, which he is still confused on how it happened
Because a test has been carried out and the child was truely his
But he was sad he wants his vanni, he wants the woman that completes him, he wants her or else he is going to loose it
“Don’t worry you two will soon get married” Mrs Oscar Said with a smile looking toward Sylvester’s direction

“I can’t wait to be Mrs Sylvester” Monica said giggling

Sylvester stood up immediately going to the door to open it
“Barrister what…what are you doing here?” Sylvester asked with a panic in his voice
Because the mab standing before him was know other but vanni’s lawyer
“Vanas-sa s£nt me Mr Sylvester and you know the reason why” The barrister said handing some papers to Sylvester
“To sign the divorce papers” the barrister Added
“No!, Vanni can’t do this to me, No!, No am not signing those barrister” Sylvester said shaking his head
“Of course you are signing them now and here” Mrs Oscar blurted out
“Mom st©p it!!” Sylvester said as he ran his f!ngersthrou-gh his hair

Vanni was lying on her be-d with her eyes closed, just then her phone beeps indicating there was a message
She quietly turned towards the headboard with her eyes still closed and took the phone
She lazily opened her eyes and unlock her phone
She saw that the message that c@m£ in was from Sylvester
She hesitated before opening the message
🗨️Vanni I love you so much, you know very well that I can’t even cheat on you, plea-se for the sake of our love and what we shared don’t leave me baby, I miss you so much, I can’t live without you🗨️
Vanni kept re-ading the message over and over again
Tears were now flowing down uncontrollably from her eyes down to her phone screen
She inhaled de-eply and looked up blinking back the eyes in her eyes
She looked down and cleaned her eyes with the back of her hands
She also cleaned her phone screen, as she started typing with tears dripping down her eyes
🗨️ Sylvester I can’t take this, I know very well that you can’t cheat on me, that’s why I can’t digest this, am in a big mess sylves, you f**ckingly got another woman pregnant not just another woman but your ex girlfriend, well why can’t I act like this, the child she is carrying is actually yours, I heard about it and you are still lying that you had nothing to do with her, how then did she carry your child huh?, Sylvester you of all people should know I can’t stand to share my man with another woman, I can never do that!!, and most especially you can’t abandon the woman who carries your child and I know you will definitely marry her, even if you don’t want to your mother is there to make it happen Sylvester, the vow is alre-ady broken Sylvester, there is nothing between us again, so plea-se take care of the woman that is carrying your child and forget about me, after all you are the one who brou-ght this upon us, you shattered my heart, goodbye sylves and plea-se sign the divorce papers, am moving out very soon because I can’t bear it anymore 🗨️

A black limousine pu-ll-ed over at the airport

When an elderly woman in her 60s alighted the limo
She smiled immediately as she saw the two beautiful women she loved so much approaching
“Granny!!” The young girl called and ran towards Mrs Gotlied and hvgged her so ti-ght
“O.M.G, my little sunshine” Mrs Gotlied said smiling so brightly
The young girl dis£ngaged from the hvg smiling so brightly at her grand mother she has just seen for the first time
“Wow moon my love, you look more beautiful in person than in pictures, you are actually a moon” Mrs Gotlied said c@r£ss!ngmoon’s beautiful black silk hair
Moon is such a pretty girl, she has a milky skin
“Awwww granny you are looking so young, I can’t believe you are in your 60s” moon blurted out with a smile
“Hahahaha, your grandma doesn’t want to age at all” Vanni laughed at moon’s words

Her daughter is now looking more mature and strong than the last she saw her 17 years ago
Mrs Gotlied was happy that vanni actually left the country to heal herself

They all walked inside, settling at the couch
Just then a woman at her 40s walked over them smiling.
“Welcome mama, welcome ma, welcome miss” the woman greeted
“Who is she?” Vanni asked as she has not seen her before among her mother’s maids
“Her name is Nanny Morin, for our little moon” Mrs Gotlied said, as she gestured Morin to go
“Oh!” Vanni said holding her laugh
“No oo, I don’t want a babysitter, am no longer a baby” moon said pouting herl-ips
“Of course you are baby” Mrs Gotlied said
Vanni couldn’t hold herself again, as she boast out laughing non-st©p
“Really mom, plea-se tell granny I don’t want a nanny” moon said looking at her mummy as if she is about to cry
“Don’t worry moon, the nanny is not going to carry you and put di-ppers on you, calm down baby, she will just be running some errands for you, you know I will be seriouslly busy running the company from on because granny is now old” Vanni explained to moon ru-bbing her hair
“Yes baby and tommorow you will be going to the shopping mall with Evelyn to get somethings you want, like your school stuffs” Mrs Gotlied said in other to light up her spirit
“Woohoo, I can’t wait!!” Moon said giggling

“Dad plea-se I want to go alone” Emily said as she walked over her father hvgging him so ti-ght
“No baby you have to go with the driver, you know daddy has alot of enemies” Sylvester said ru-bbing her hair
“Just this once dad” Emily begged again
“Honey plea-se allow her to go alone” Monica said walking over them
But sylves didn’t reply nor look at her
Emily dis£ngaged from the hvg and looked so excitedly at her mother
“Emily you will go with the driver, but he will be outside the shopping mall” Sylves said smiling at his beautiful daughter
Emily ni-bble her innerl-ips and thought about it, the idea is good
Is more better shopping alone, than having someone following her around
“So when are you going? ” Sylves asked his daughter who is lost in thoughts
“Tomorrow” Emily replied
“Then tomorrow is it” sylves said
“Yahhhh” Emily giggled and ran inside her room
Immediately she left, the smiles on Sylvester’s face disappeared
He started walking away
“Sylvester!, Honey!” Monica called but Sylvester didn’t halted nor st©p to look at her
“Damn after 17 good years he is still distancing from me, I won’t give up, afterall we are married that’s what is more important” Monica muttered to herself smiling
“Emily baby, do you want mummy to tag along tomorrow?!” Monica asked walking towards Emily’s door, she wanted to pu-ll the door open
“No oo!” Emily yelled
Monica immediately withdrawed her hands that were about to open the door
