Wait mother! A voice echoed, Mother and I turned around and saw Nathan standing right behind us.
What is it Nathan? Mother asked eagerly as Nathan quic-kly snatched the jewelry from her and took to his heels.
Get out of there Isay! Unless you want mother to deal with you…. Nathan yelled as he ran far away with the n£¢klace and I followed him.
Nathan! Isabella!!! How dare you both? You will come back to this house and meet me…. Silly children… Mother screamed angrily as she watched us run as fast as we could.

Mom am re-ady… I shouted as i rushed out with one of the maids holding my backpack which was used to pack my lunch.
Get into the car baby! Mom said smiling as the car door was opened and I turned to enter but I st©pped.
What’s that Susan? I asked the maid meanly… Her name is Susan actually.
It’s your lunch box sir Eric! She said
Just shut up! Take that away, am big enough now… Am no longer a toddler whose always given a lunch box… I snorted as the maid Susan nodded and walked back inside.
I sat inside the car and smiled happily as I brou-ght out my c@m£ra 📷 and smiled, it was a gift from my dad..
This picnic is really gonna be nothing but fun… I muttered to myself
By the way, my name is Eric Sebastian and am the only son and heir to the wealthy Sebastian family.
Actually for the first time in my life, we were going out of town for a picnic… a family picnic at uhmm.. San… San Francisco I suppose.
I heard its a kind of rural area but it’s really fun cos it has beautiful mountains and rivers.
Am so excited so finally mommy and daddy agreed to go for picnic.

We drove into the gates of San Francisco as i chuckled in excitement.
Daddy! This place looks so beautiful and the air here is fresh…. I said as i quic-kly picked up my 📷 c@m£ra and snapped.
Yes son! You’re gonna have fun here for sure and you will have lots of stories to tell your friends.. Dad said

We got to the beach and spre-ad a mat on the ground..
The air was so fresh and the moment was so enjoyable.
Mom! I wanna go take a better view at the turtles over there… I said and mom nodded as i walked to the other side.
Isabella’s Pov
Nathan dragged me along and we st©pped by a beach and saw some children looking at life turtles that were washed out of the sea by a wave.
Nathan! Let’s go take a look at those… I said as i dragged him with me.
They are so lovely! I said as a smile escaped myl-ips ma-king me forget the problems we will face when we get home
Suddenly, I missed a step and fell on a kid there too.
You little pig! He yelled angrily as Nathan helped me up.
Am really sorry sir! Nathan and I apologized on seeing that he’s a rich kid.
Shut your filthy tra-p, do you know how much this dress cost? He screamed in annoyance as he gave me a resounding sl@p and i held my cheek and gobsma-cked…..

Isabella’s Pov
Tears gradually dropped down my cheeks as I stared at him with anger.
You get out of here!! You bunch of morons… The rich boy said rudely as he quic-kly pushed Nathan and I aside and walked away.
Eric! Come over here son… A rich looking lady waved at him from afar
Am coming mommy! He said as he turned around and gave us a dangerous stare.
Just then, something fell… It looks like a c@m£ra, it was hung to his w@!st and he didn’t notice it.
Hey! Mr arrogant… I screamed at him but Nathan hushed me
Let him be! Nathan said
But he dropped his c@m£ra and… I said but Nathan eyed me.
The rude boy and his parents left and Nathan rushed to the c@m£ra he dropped and picked it up.
This looks really nice! Nathan chuckled and I frowned
Nathan that’s not yours you know, father once told me that is bad to take something that’s not yours… I said folding my arms and feigning anger
I know but this c@m£ra is not actually for me… Nathan said and paused as i wondered in silence
Who is it for then? Don’t tell me it’s for Kim cos i know you have a crush on my friend Kim… I said tea-singly
Of course not Isay! It’s actually for you so that you can use it as a payback for the sl@p he gave you… Nathan said and I laughed
That’s true. I said as i took it from him and we ran along.
FIFTEEN YEARS LATER
Unknown’s Pov
I took my bath, applied a nice expensive cream on my skin.
I wore my lovely go-wn worth almost a million dollar as i smiled warmly in the mirror.
I picked up my hood and wore it then I picked up my eyeglas-ses and wore it.
Just then, the land telephone rang aloud and i slowly picked it up.
“Hello” I said calmly
“Good morning ma’am, your flight is in an hour time” A voice echoed
“Alright! ” I said as i hung up
I walked out of my well furnished room and headed downstairs.
As the maids followed me to the garage with my luggage.
The car door was thrown open for me as i hopped in.
“Let’s move, we heading straight to the airport ” I said strictly to the driver
“Yes Ma’am” He replied as we speeded off

My pri-vate jet landed and I got down from it as I looked around and smiled slightly before frowning.
I got into another clas-sy car and we drove off.
“Uhm… Ma’am welcome to the Phili-ppines” the driver said cheerfully and I nodded in a frown
“Madam! You have a meeting with Mr Wong in San Francisco”… My secretary said as she looked into my schedule
“Alright, we will be heading straight to San Francisco right now before going to Manila” I said as they nodded
I picked up my cell phone and dialed a number.
“Hello bestie” I said cheerfully this time
“Where are you babe? You said u are returning Phili-ppines today right?” She said excitedly
“Yes! Actually am in the Phili-ppines but I have a meeting in San Francisco so after the meeting so I will there soon” I smiled
“I can’t wait to see you including Nicole, he’s so excited, we prepared a special food just for you.. ” she skrie-ked
“OK bestie” I said as i hung up
I re-ad the signboard “WELCOME TO SAN FRANCISCO” innermindedly.
We kept driving and suddenly the driver ran into someone and I g@sped.
Isabella’s Pov
Kim and I were carrying our big bags of charcoal on our heads heading to the buyer’s house.
We crossed the road but then a bundle of charcoal fell from my bag.
Oh no! I have to get that… I said running back to pick it up
Isay let’s just go! It’s just a little piece of it…. Kim said
You don’t know how my mother can react to it… I said as i quic-kly rushed back and alas! A flashy car in high speed knocked me down as I coll@psed in the pool of my own blood.
Isabella! Kim yelled in tears as she rushed to me.

I quic-kly got down from the car and rushed to the bleeding young girl.
You nee-d to be more careful Marcus… I shouted at the driver
Oh Isabella… the young girl with her cried as she held her
Are you her sister? I asked her
No she’s my friend… the girl said
Suddenly the bleeding girl slowly opened her eyes as blood gushed out of her mouth.
Mother! She called as she lost consciousness….
