Myles quickly pulled away, surprised by her action.

Lola had enough of their stupid romantic display before her eyes, she couldn’t take anymore.

Aunt Marie was also dissatisfied with everything even though she had realised with time their alliance was fake, she sensed that they had feelings for each other especially with those loud sounds they make almost every night.

“Please excuse me” Lola said and left from there.

Summer frowned and faced Anita. “Why did you do that?”

“Do what dear?”

“I am not your ‘Dear’, you have no right to kiss my Daddy after appearing out of nowhere. Do you know what my Daddy went through? Where were you at that time?.”Summer fired.

” Sunshine” Myles cautioned.

“I wasn’t living a perfect life either” Anita said with tears welling up in her eyes. Summer and her had not experienced the best relationship.

“Wait!Come to think of it. After so many years of absence, how did you find out where daddy stayed?”

Anita was taken aback by the question. Myles became thoughtful over what Summer said, he had not really interrogated Anita because of our health.

” You don’t want to know,” Anita sobbed.

Summer rolled her eyes, unmoved by those tears. “Sincerely you might be my mummy but I don’t feel anything for you. Daddy has finally found love and happiness with Lola and you aren’t gonna ruin that”

Everyone was stunned by Summer’s attack. It was fierce and void of emotions.

“Summer, that’s enough,” Myles cautioned.

“Choose wisely Daddy, I know you are confused but you should follow your heart” Summer muttered and stood up.

She took her food along and went to her room.

“She hates me” Anita cried,her tears were half forced and half sincere.

Myles shook his head and hugged her. “No she doesn’t”

Hennessy smirked while staring at them; Anita would be easy to get rid of, after getting Lola out of the way.

Gwen held hands with Ricardo as he walked her home.

Gwen’s body was back to normal and the angelic personality had been helping Ricardo with his training. Everything was perfect except for the fact that the angel’s identity remained unknown.

“I really don’t want to leave you, Gwendolyn” Ricardo kissed her lips but he definitely thought that the name annoyed her.

“Quit calling me that, it makes me feel old” Gwen rolled her eyes and laughed.

“You are older than me, well I mean your wolf age” Ricardo snickered and kissed her lips. He still remained happy that her safety had not been jeopardised by him.

“Are you certain?,I’m not actually eighteen in human age either” She taunted him.

“Then, how old are you?” Ricardo asked and stared sceptically at her.

“I’m fifty years old,” Gwen roared in laughter.

“Stupid” He poked her head and brought two bracelets from his pocket.

“That angel gave me this, he said you should wear it and anytime you are in danger. I would know” Ricardo said and wore one of the bracelets and wore himself the other.

“Press the button and I would be instantly alerted” Ricardo instructed.

“We could definitely trust that wingman, he saved my life”

“Wing man???” Ricardo laughed.

After chatting, they bid each other goodbye with kisses and hugs.

Gwen continued her journey home but then something happened. Something suddenly pierced her back and she halted her steps abruptly.

Gwen stared at her back and pulled out with the arrow. She spat out blood and before she could think of pressing the button; she collapsed to the floor.

She heard some footsteps but couldn’t move.

“That sh*it was more effective than I thought” Dread smirked and clenched the bow in his hand.

“Put this animal into a cage” Dread frowned.

His men moved closer to Gwen’s body and carried her away.

Summer and Jake rolled their tongue in each other’s mouths, savouring each other’s taste.

Jake was becoming more heated by the second and he could scent the arousal from his mate. Their kiss intensified and their hands rubbed around each other’s body.

“She f*cking kissed you!” Lola yelled, unable to contain her anger.

“I know but it means nothing to me” Myles said truthfully and finally she allowed him to hold her hands.

“Lolita, look at me, ” Myles urged,desperately.

Lola sighed and faced him. She became more irritated about the kiss.

“I might have loved Anita but that was in the past. I can’t deny the fact that you are my present and you’ve made me feel things that I never knew existed” Myles confessed and pulled her close to him.

Lola’s stomach churned and she felt more irritated than earlier, this was no longer about the kiss.

“Lolita, I love you”

Lola shouldn’t be surprised by his confession but she was.Myles was about to kiss her but a bile rose in her throat.

Lola covered her mouth and rushed to the bathroom, locked the door and began vomiting. She threw up almost all she had eaten into the sink.

“Lola” Myles called and twisted the door knob but it was locked.

‘That chicken made me sick’ Lola shuddered and vomited again.
