(First love)ā
Horror filled Myles’ eyes as the bullet almost hit Summer, he would have sworn that he almost killed his daughter but the bullet met the hand of the creature.
He winced but didn’t remove his hand that was snaking around her.
“Jake” Summer whispered, anxiously.
“Get your hands off my daughter or I will shoot you again!” Myles yelled but he simply pointed the gun at him without attempting to pull the trigger but he swore that he didn’t do it.
It was like it controlled itself.
“Dad!” Summer turned and yelled at her father, maybe it would put some sense into him.
Summer tried to touch his hand from behind but Jake growled in a low pitch and went away.
“Jakeā¦”
Summer turned to her father and anger was written all over her face.
“You almost shot me!” Summer yelled, then glanced angrily at Lola.āCouldn’t you discourage him from doing something this stupid?”
Myles put down his gun and yelled. āRemember, I remain your father and you should mind the way you speak!”
“And why the f*ck are you defending a creature like that?” Myles asked, raising his voice.
“I am his mate!” Summer yelled.
Myles shook his head in confusion. āwhat?ā
Summer didn’t realise when she blurted it out but the deed had been done.
“I’m mated to him, like we areā”
“Shut up!” Myles yelled at her, he was shocked by her words. āAre you insane?ā
“I’m not!I love him,” Summer cried out.
Lola was also shocked by the outcome of things but she hoped it didn’t get more complicated.
“We should go home and discuss this amicably. ” Lola muttered but Myles would not hear any of it.
“You are insane if you think that you can have any connection with that hideous creature. Except going to school, you would not be permitted to leave the mansion and your security will be doubled”
“You can quadruple it but that won’t stop me from seeing him. Where were your stupid guards when I was kidnapped and almost killed? They were nowhere to be found but he was there to save me!” Summer argued whole, pointing at the direction Jake left.
“You are coming with me” Myles marched to her.
“Daddy, I love himā” her words were cut short by the hard and deafening slap that landed on her face.
Lola gasped.
Summer held her pained and stinging cheek in shock, Myles had never laid his hands on her before. Tears dropped out of her eyes.
Myles immediately regretted it but it was too late, he grasped her arm and dragged her.
“Leave me alone” Summer sobbed and tried struggling with him but her efforts were futile.
“Myles”Lola sighed and followed them.
‘She kind of needed the slap, it was long overdue’ Lola thought and rolled her eyes.
Meanwhile Cameron(Oliver) stood with the vampire watching them.
“You missed the trigger” the vampire said, it had blue coloured skin showing it’s body as void of blood.
“It doesn’t matter, we have other opportunities,” Cameron smirked.

Gwen and Ricardo were in the mansion but this time for a different reason. They had read and found out more about and Gwen had been practising with Ricardo.
The books were hidden in a safe but Ricardo guessed the password and they were able to find the ways of training a nephilim to control his/her powers.
Gwen had been doing a good job on helping to control his anger and emotions, she was like his anchor.
They were presently in the garden.
“Push me” Gwen said and Ricard pushed her slightly, in a harmless way.
“Push me farther and more aggressively” Ricardo was sceptical about her orders but obeyed. He pushed her but not aggressively.
Gwen went seven steps backwards and she smiled.
“You are getting better” Gwen chuckled and sauntered to him.
“I am” Ricardo smiled and pecked her hair. āThank youā
“We still have a lot to do, you’ve learnt control but I haven’t done anything to make you super angry but at least you are aware of whom to direct your aggression at”Gwen said.
Ricardo smiled and hugged her tightly.
” I wouldn’t have done this without you,” Ricardo smiled.
Gwen inhaled his scent and smiled. She was her happiest with him.
“You are welcome,” Gwen replied. She kissed his tender lips for a few seconds.
She was beginning to savour his taste, her feelings for Jake had also faded.
They kissed for some minutes but something tugged Ricardo away from her and Ricardo’s body banged against the fence.
Gwen became alert but there was no visible being around.
Her hair was suddenly pulled from behind and Gwen thrashed her hands in the air but couldn’t feel anyone.
“Aahhh” Gwen groaned. Her stomach was punched next and Gwen cried out.
“Argh!!!” Gwen screamed as the invisible force twisted her arm.
The force pulled Gwen over the fence with her screaming loudly because her werewolf powers had been rendered useless.
Ricardo was able to use his powers to fly over as well and he looked at Gwen who was hanging upwards.
“Leave her alone!” Ricardo yelled and was able to float in the air as well.
“I can see you have developed your skills” The invisible force spoke and revealed itself.
“Father” Ricardo gasped in astonishment.
His father smirked and flung Gwen away and her body slammed into a transformer, electrocuting her immediately. Gwen’s body shook violently.
“Gwen!!!” Ricardo screamed and was about to go to her but he was slammed against a pole by his father.
“You have to die!” He sneered.

Hunt’s mansion>
Summer had not stopped crying since they reached the mansion. She was worried about Jake.
Myles gazed at her, wistful about his reaction.
“Sunshine,I’m sorry” Myles apologised. āI didn’t mean to hit youāMyles said and walked to her.
“Sunshine” Myles sighed and looked beside her. He placed his hand on her hair.
“I love him”
“You can’t love a creature, are you nuts?” Myles yelled. He couldn’t believe that she was repeating the same trash.
“That’s how I feel and he’s a werewolf” Summer cried and pouted her lips.
“Someone should wake me up from this nightmare. I don’t care how you feel but you are never seeing that thing again. In fact you will be homeschooled” Myles rebuked and stood up.
“Daddy, you can’t do this to me”
“Watch me” Myles hissed and left the room,locking her from outside.
“Daddy” Summer cried and thrashed get body on the bed then the floor.āI wanna see Jakeā

Dungeon>
“We are here again” Cameron said, standing in front of Atlas, the vampire was by his side.
Atlas stared at both of them and asked. āDo I promise that I will be able to get my revenge on Myke?ā
“Yes and suck all his blood” the vampire replied.
“Will I die?”
“No but you would become different,” Cameron replied.
“Then I accept, I will give up my soul to you” Atlas said without batting an eye.
Cameron and the vampire exchanged smiles.

Earl’s mansion>
The door opened automatically and Earl stepped into the room with a mocking smile on his face.
He switched on the lights, brightening the room that was dark.
Earl darted his gaze to the woman that was on a chair, tied up, she had bruises on her body and her hair was scattered and muddled with dirt.
Earl walked to her and lifted her chin up. Her weak eyes widened in terror as she saw him.
“Missed me, Anita?”
