” That’s not happening Frederico ….” I laughed and he only chuckled in return .
His phone rang and he switched it off .
” Fred is everything okay ? I asked with concern . I noticed throu-ghout the time we spent together at the island ,he was trying his best to hide something from me .
” I’m fine , everything is okay , I think it was the Don ” he said and I smiled .
” Awwwwwwwwn he’s such a big brother , I think he’s missing you already ” I said and he chuckled for some reason I thought it didn’t reach his eyes .
What is bothering Frederico ? Did it have something to do with the mafia ?
Is it that his life is in Danger ? I wondered and when he pulled me close in the car , I let it go .
We both talked about building our relationship already …and I knew he’d never hide anything from me …He loves me and I love him too ….
I stared at my wedding ring in our entwined and ran my fingers in his hair Sweetly .
” I love Fred …I love you ‘ I said and he smiled .
” You say that a lot lately ” he chuckled .
” Because I want to wipe every sad memory we’ve had during the time we spent apart …” I said and he smiled .
” I love you too Aria ” ye said and I laughed .
” You look cute when you say that ” I said teasingly .
” Stop calling me cute I’m handsome ” he said and I threw my head backwards as I laughed .
The Car drove into the De Luca estate and I couldn’t wait to meet my son .
Immediately We came out of the car I rushed in to meet my son .
” Hey Grace …” I said excitedly.
” Omg Aria ” She said excitedly as she engulfed Me in a hug .
” Is so good to have you back I mean ,you’re glowing ” she said teasingly .
” Bad girl ” I said and we both chuckled softly.
” Where’s Fred ? I asked and she smiled .
” He went out with Emelio …” She said and I gasped .
” What ? I asked worriedly .
” Calm down ,if there’s any Deluca with excess security it’s definitely Emelio …even his brothers find it ha-rd to locate I’d whereabouts when he decides to go into hiding … Fred’s safe …I think they’d be back soon ” she said with a smile and I gave a nod .
” Okay ‘”
” Look who we have here …the honeymoon couple ” Yvonne said teasingly as she sight Frederico coming in throu-ghthe door and I laughed .
” Hope you did a good job Frederico …we want a result soon ” she teased
” Yvonne ” we both said Whilst Frederico laughed .
” Where’s Mas ? He asked.
” Out of the country …he went to Russia with Sergio….” She said and they both exchanged a knowing look at which Frederico sighed softly .
” Is everything okay ? I asked with concern .
” Ya everything is fine ….Aria …” She said and pulled Frederico with her .
They left for a while and I decided to play with Aldo and Axel instead .
” Awwwwwwwwn they’re such healthy babies ” I said kis-sing their Chubby cheeks .
” You’re back ” I heard my mother inlaw voice and turned .
” Yes ” I said and she gave a nod .
” Welcome ” she said and picked Aldo in her arms .
I carried Axel and smiled …they both reminded me of Red when he was still a baby .
I feel sad that Frederico wasn’t a part of our boy’s life …
But that was now in the past , this is our present now and it’s up to us to make a difference.
Maybe even give Red a younger sibling …I thought with a chuckle .
” Momma” I heard Red’s voice as he ran into my arms .
” Hey Red danger ” I cooed sweetly and he smiled.
” I missed you mummy , where’s Daddy ? He asked and I gestured towards the stairs .
” He’d be downstairs soon ,he’s talking to your aunt Grace ” I said and he ran upstairs.
” Red …” I scolded .
” Oh let him be yes just a kid ” his grandma said and I for-ced a smile.
The De Luca’s where already pampering Red too much .
I’m even thinking of talking to Frederico about it .
” We should definitely hang out alot now that you’re back in Sicily” Yvonne said with a smile and I gave a nod .
Not too long Grace came back and Frederico walked behind her.
” Love I’d be back in the evening …” He said and I wondered where he is off to.
” It’s work ” he said and I kis-sed his cheek.
” See you soon senator ” I said teasingly and he chuckled as he left.
” C’mon baby we have a lot of catching up to do ‘ I said and took Red with me after handing over Axel to his mom .
‘ momma what where you guys up to on your honeymoon ? Was it fun ? Grandpa said something about you coming back with my baby brother ,where is he ? He asked and I chuckled.
” Grandpa was out teasing you sweetheart ” I said and he gave a nod .
” Really but I want a sibling ” he pouted cutely.
” Babies don’t just come Red ” I said and he frowned .
” I know where babies come from ” he said and I frowned
” Jeez who told you ? I asked almost fainting and he chuckled.
” I’ve known since …..” He said and I placed my hand on my che-st .
” What ?
“Momma don’t you know the baby factory in the hospital ? Remember my cla-ssmates mom back then went to the hospital and the baby fairy gave her a new born baby …” He said and I burst into laughter.
Children are so naive …. hahahaha he thinks there’s a baby factory and baby fairy .
If only he knows the reality .

I was really worried after what Grace told me ….The De Nero’s where threatening to bring us down to nothing especially after the Alliance between Veronica and I was called off.
Ma-ssimo had sent back their threat telling them we where ready for whatever they had coming.
I can’t believe the nerve of those De Nero’s.
I told Aria I was going to the office ,but no I was going to see Veronica at a club …right after I meet up with Dimitri .
” You did what ? Dimitri asked as he ru-bbed his forehead frustratedly .
” She looked and acted like she was the one night stand kind of girl Dimitri ,I did my research …I knew what I was doing …she Just got obsessed with me …after what happened …plus now her Dad and brother wants to ruin my life ” I said frustratedly .
” Ruin your life ” he repeated after me.
” Of course what’s worse than Aria finding out I slept with Veronica ? Or that ….The De nero’s killed her brother ….I just ….I wasn’t even thinking of that when I slept with Veronica ” I said and sat down with a thud.
” How about you let Aria on about everything happening …I mean c’mon ….she’d be hurt but hiding it for long will only cause more damage …” He adviced.
” Dimitri …..c’mon I can’t …we just got back together recently …I don’t want her to hate me ,I might act all strong and emotionless , but when it comes to Aria I’m a complete su-cker …..” I said and he stared at me.
” What are you gonna do ? He asked.
” I’m meeting up with Veronica tonight , I need to know what she has up her sleeves ..” I said and he drank from the gla-ss of Alcohol on his table.
” Are you fu-cking serious Rico ? You told Aria you where going to the office ” he said and I shook my head .
” I know okay …..she won’t find out ….I just need to get everything un-der control trust me ” I said and he put off the ciggerrate on his table.
” Fine just be careful and I think you should Make sure you don’t end up on the tabloids you have a political career to protect” he said and I gave a nod as I left his mansion.
As I drove towards The Club , I checked my watch and it was already getting late .
I need to get home ontime or Aria would be worried .
I packed my car outside the club and called Veronica .
” I’m outside the club” I said with a frown .
” Come inside Senator….or are you scared ? She asked suprised and I gritt my teeth Angrily.
” I’d be expecting you ….” She said sensually and I nearly threw up at the rotten feeling in my stomach .
I regret the day I ever thought of sleeping with Veronica ….I hate myself for it .
And i hated the fact that I caused this for myself …
Now she feels like she has a right over me because she knows I wouldn’t want Aria finding out .
” Mr De LUCA ” the Waitress said and escorted me towards the VIP section .
Immediately I walked in ,there she was dressed like a prost*t*te.
” Frederico ” she smi-rked.
” Veronica” I spat with nothing but pure hate .
“Oh c’mon frederico ….if not for that foolish woman you call a wife…. wouldn’t you have considered this roman-ce …..you dont even need to be faithful to that …’ she trailed.
” I’d really Appreciate it if you shut up Veronica ,I wouldn’t have you insult my wife ” I spat angrily and she glared at me.
” Wife ? Fred isn’t she the same woman that dumped you on the Alter some years ago ? I did my research Frederico isn’t she the Sister of …” She trailed.
” That’s Enough…I only came here to tell you to stay away from me ….stay away from my wife and son too because I won’t hesitate to sieze the life in you ” I said and she laughed.
She threw her head backwards and laughed like a lunatic.
” What did you take me for frederico ? A newbie to this game ? I’ve known what I wanted for the past six years and with the help of an old friend we have waited for the day to come to pa-ss …..where I’d be your wife…
” Everything was going on as planned until you fell inlove with your personal a-ssistant during your… emergence into office …” She spat and I looked at her.
” Six years …wow ” I said in self pity .
” Six years frederico I love you till my death and I won’t back down without a fight …even if it means killing someone” she said and I knew this wasn’t an empty threat.
” I’m leaving” I said and she Chuckled.
” Wait ” she said and I turned.
” I have a suprise for you I’m sure you’d love it ” she said and played something on her phone .
She dropped it on the table and my eyes followed it .
” Oh frederico ….ahhh” I heard mo-ans and I looked at the video frozen on that very sp-ot .
It looked somehow dark and nobody could see Veronica on the video but I was visible .

I lic-ked my lower li-p and stared at her .
” You got a video of the night …” I said with a bitter chuckle.
” I knew you are no fool Red , I knew before you decided to give me a night, you knew about my inability to bore kids ….
What better way to tie you down ? She asked and I threw the phone on the floor where it shattered she stared at my face and laughed.
” It’s funny how you think that’s the only …one my love ” she said and walked over to me.
” Let’s talk frederico …Aria , Doesn’t need to know …. Everything would be fine …”
” Get your filthy hands off me ” I said angrily.
” Fine I’d just post this video online Fred and let’s watch your political career go down the drain ” she said and at that point I knew I was in de-eper sh*t.
