Calvin was busy working on some docu-ment when the door open and his long time nanny walked into the room beaming a smile at him.
“There you go again, working your as-soff as always ” Nanny Melody said even as she place the cup of juice in front of him before going to stand beside him.
“Just a few more minute and I will be done” he said smiling up at her but Nanny Melody knew that the few more minutes will turn into an hour and so she gently pulled the file away from him.
“You’ve been in here ever since you arrived from school, you didn’t even have lunch” Nanny Melody said.
“I did at school, am a student after all” Calvin said drinking the juice.
“I still can’t wrap my head around this school thing. must you really disguise yourself just so you can find this girl of yours?”
“Yes. It’s the only option I have and the only way I know of finding her”he answered.
“Though I find it risky, I can’t stop you from searching and besides I really want to meet the girl who cured my cute little boy” she said pulling his cheeks.
“I still find it ha-rd to believe that years ago, you couldn’t get close to the opposite s£x and that’s one of the reason that I had to quit back then and if I had known that your sisters were cruel to you, I wouldn’t have left. It still tears my heart apart when I think about it” Nanny Melody added looking sad.
Knowing that she genuinely felt what she said, Calvin got out of his seat and pulled her into a tight hug.
“It’s okay now. Am cured and my sisters are well far away from me and I have you here by my side, what else can I long for” Calvin said which got her chuckling.
“Am glad you think that way. You should have dinner tonight, it’s being prepared” Nanny Melody told him as she pulled back to stare at him.
“I will, right after I finish this” He said going back to the paper work.
“Before I forget, I hired two more maids, you don’t mind right?”
“I don’t. The household and it’s well being is your task” he answered smiling at her.

“And what exactly will she do with that hand of hers?” A maid who had been told to show Beth and her mother around the house asked after noticing her handicap.
“She’s going to do a lot of work. Do not judge her because of what you see” Beth replied hotly hating the woman attitude.
“Well am sorry, I don’t think there’s a place for her in this house hold” The maid replied folding her arms while glaring at Beth.
“Aren’t you being unfair and….”
“She’s right Bethany, am not fit to work” her mom said interrupting her.
“You heard your mom, she has a bit of sense which I doubt you have” the maid said.
“Say that again and I swear I will smash your face in! ” Beth threatened even as she made a move towards her frightening the maid.
The maid was saved from receiving the punch when a middle age lady walk into the room.
“Leave Lizzy, I will handle it from here” the lady commanded which got the rude maid scuttling off.
“Am sorry if Lizzy was rude but to be sincere, your mom can’t work with that kind of …..”
“Are you also going to be unfair? You haven’t test her skills, what you keep starring at is her deficiency!” Beth said feeling angry at them judging her mom.
“It seems like you don’t get me young girl. What I meant is that the work in this house is a bit tasking for your mom and will end up wearing her out, am thinking more of her health rather than being judgemental as you put it” the lady said making Beth think about it.
“Then I will take on her job” Beth declared.
“Beth you’ve got school and….”
“I will take it on even if I have to work till late time, don’t worry mom” Beth said to her mom who still look worried.
“Fine then since you are willing to work your mom shifts too, you can start right now. You must have been shown your room, if so then Beth you can come with me while your mother have her rest” the lady said walking out of the room.
With a quick goodbye to her mom, Beth followed the lady who showed her around the house and told her a bit about the master of the house.
“He works until late in his study and so if you happen to be doing a chore then I suggest you don’t disturb him” she said while Beth nodded.
They were heading back to the kitchen when the lady stop to stare at her.
“Am sorry about what Lizzy said earlier, you didn’t deserve to hear that” the lady said which got Beth feeling warm at her words.
“I saw the devotion you have for your mom and am sure that you will also be devoted into any task a-ssigned to you. Keep on having that mind set and you will make it far” the lady advice Beth and once again she nodded smiling at her.
“You have a cute smile, how old are you?” She asked.
“Eighteen”
“Well then, let me get Lily for you. She’s also the same age as you and will tell you how to prepare for tonight dinner” she said and a while later Beth was in the kitchen helping with the preparation of dinner.
“Am glad I have someone my age to talk to” Lily whispered to her even as they set the table.
“Me too, I thought I will have to ask that Lizzy for help” Beth complained.
“So Lizzy has shown you her true colours? Just because she’s the head maid niece, she thinks she can boss us all around, she’s hateful” Lily said.
“Very hateful” Beth echoed her statement while they both laugh.
“And to top it all, she tries to get the attention of the boss. Each opportunity she gets, she wiggle her a-ss for him but he doesn’t give her one bit of look, serves her right ” Lily said.
“How is the boss like?” Beth asked.
“Cool, kind and extremely handsome. Do you know that he started making his millions at the age of twenty and now he is a wealthy billionaire at the age of twenty five. He’s well respected in the business world. I just wish am much older, I would have gone for him like Lizzy is doing” Lily said which got Beth chuckling.
“Do you intend to stay there chatting all day?” Lizzy asked behind them and reluctantly they went back to what they were doing.

After much persuasion from Nanny Melody, Calvin left what he was doing and went to dinning room.
Just like always his food were placed on the table and four maids were standing by waiting for when he needs one or two things.
“It’s quite spicy” He said when he ate the beef stew.
“The water” Nanny Melody who was by his side said and immediately a maid came to pour the water.
She stretched it to him and he took it only for him to pause when he saw who had given him the water.
The glas-sfell from his nerveless finger which got the glas-ssmashing on the floor startling them all.
Beth who had turn into a statue after seeing Calvin got startled when the glas-sbroke spilling water on her leg.
“I….I … I will go get some thing to clean it” she said scurrying off to the kitchen.
They were other maids in the kitchen doing one or two things but Beth who had gone to take some thing to mop the w-et floor stood idle by the wash stand.
How on earth did a high school student end up being her boss? She thought still trying to grasp the situation.
“Everyone should leave!” On hearing Calvin authoritative voice, Beth stared up at him to see him starring at her and as soon as the last maid left, he bolted the door before walking towards her.
“My cover has been blown and it turns out that you are the one who caught me” Calvin murmured starring at her.
“Why aren’t you asking?” Calvin said again when she kept quiet just watching him.
“It’s still quite a shock” she admitted slowly.
“Is it me being older than I claim to or me attending your school as a high school student when I graduated years ago that is shocking to you?” He asked.
“It’s everything” she admitted.
“Then I suggest you accompany me to my study so we can talk about it” he said turning to leave but what she said next stopped him.
“I don’t want to know”
“Uh?”
“I don’t want to know about it. As far I know you are the boss here and since am your maid you can count on it that I will surely keep my mouth shut” she said.
“Really? I don’t think I can trust you on that?” He said folding his arms as he stared down at her.
“You will have to cause I don’t stick my nose in other people affair, I have my own problems to deal with already” she said.
“Problems like what?” Calvin found himself ask.
“Problems that doesn’t have to concern you, just like I said am just a maid in your house and at school, am the girl who just happens to be in the same clas-sas you. So if you don’t have anything else to say, I would take my leave” She said taking the kitchen back door.
As soon as she got outside, she slump on the wall while putting a hand on her chest.
She still finds it ha-rd to believe that the new guy who had pretended to be a student in her school is her new boss.
To think that she had punch him earlier, she thought as she silently hope that he won’t fire her.

“I can’t believe that you’ve been caught! It’s just been a day” Raymond said sighing out in frustration.
“I know. I never thought that she will end up working for me” Calvin said as he paced around the room.
“What did she say? Will she tell everyone?” Raymond asked.
“She says she won’t tell anyone but I don’t trust her. Ever since our first meeting, she’s been rude to me and I was even slapped by her” Calvin confessed.
“How does it feel to be slapped by a woman for the first time?” Raymond asked jokingly.
“Are you kidding me! My sisters have done worse than that “Calvin retorted.
“Oh! I forgot all about the evil witches but put that aside, what are you going to do?” Raymond asked.
“Have I told you that she’s also one of the student who attended your party?”
“Really? She’s not your mystery girl then ?” Raymond asked.
“She’s not! While checking if a mole was on her shoulders I ended up being punched ” Calvin explained.
“So she’s not your mystery girl which means she’s gonna lead us to the others”
“I already thought of that but she won’t budge. She won’t even let me explain” Calvin said.
“So are you going to give up? She’s the only one who can lead us to the other students, we can’t lose her” Raymond said.
“We can’t and that’s why I plan on using my persuasion wiles” Calvin told them.
“Have never failed in the business world whenever I persuade someone and am sure I won’t fail In persuading her” Calvin added starring at his friend who gave him a thumbs up in reply.
