~ HOURS EARLIER ~ WILMER HIGH
Calvin walk alongside the teacher who was taking him to his cla-ss.
“According to what the Principal told me, you just arrived from another city with your parents” Mrs Briggs said telling him about the tale he created with the principal just so he wouldn’t be suspected by anyone.
“Yes” Calvin replied.
“Well since your parents are rich and you are pretty much handsome yourself then you won’t have a problem fitting in this school” Mrs Briggs added while Calvin wondered what she meant.
She led him into a clas-swhich was rowdy even when there was a teacher in it, it wasn’t until he walked in that everyone stopped talking mainly to access him.
“Everyone, this is Calvin and he will be studying here with us from now hence fourth” the teacher said and whispered to him to come introduce himself.
Sighing within, Calvin stood in the middle of the clas-sstarring at them all.
“Hello everyone” he started only to hear the girls say amongst themselves.
????” My Gosh! His voice is sweet to the ears ”
???? “Am glad he’s in our cla-ss”
???? ” He’s just so handsome”
Well at least it would work in his favour if most of the girls go gaga over him, it would help in finding his mystery girl.
Every girl in clas-swere starring at him as if he’s an angel who just drop from above well except for one.
It’s the same girl from earlier, the one who was being bullied by those two guys.
Knowing he was looking at her, Beth rolled her eyes at him before facing her book.
‘Did she just roll her eyes at him’ Calvin thought having seen her action from earlier.
“Take a seat beside Calvin” Mrs Briggs said as she left the cla-ss.
They were two seats empty, one was by Beth side and another was by Karina.
Not wanting to seat with Beth, Calvin decided to go seat beside Karina which got everyone in the clas-swooing them.
???? “With the hottest girl in school by your side, I doubt if you will see the other students”
On hearing that Calvin turn to stare at Karina.
Hot! There’s nothing hot about her? He thought from within.
“Stop it James” Karina said to the student who had spoken earlier.
“But it’s the truth, you are freaking hot and girls like you don’t deserve to hang around people like Jason” James said.
And who is Jason? Calvin thought as he didn’t bother saying a thing to what this James guy is saying.
“Don’t listen to him,am Karina ” the hottest girl as they call her said as she introduced herself to him.
“And am Dexter, though my close friends call me Dex”
“And am Willow at your service”
“Josephine, nice to meet you” A girl whose skirt was way shorter than the others sat her a-ss on his desk while starring at him lustfully.
“It’s nice meeting you all” Calvin said wondering how he ended up amongst this four students.
“Seems like there is going to be a new student amongst the (RFR)” A student cried out excitedly.
“RFR?” The confused Calvin asked.
“Well it means Rich of the Rich. It’s what the other student calls us” Dexter replied.
“And since you are rich like us, you can join our group” Josephine stated.
“Guys, he just arrived. We shouldn’t force him ” Katrina said pushing a strand of hair from her face which stole the attention of some male students.
“Force? If I felt force, I wouldn’t be here and besides, I don’t mind joining your group” Calvin replied earning a smile from them all.
If they are really the rich of the rich like they claim themselves to be then with their help, he could get to find the eleven students who went to Raymond party.

~ LUNCH ~ CAFETERIA
“This is Jason, my boyfriend” Katrina said introducing Calvin him to a tall lanky guy who Calvin thought to be a push over.
“Nice meeting you” Jason greeted while Calvin replied.
“So is he the one who makes up the fifth number?” Calvin asked them.
“No, Eric is the last one and judging by how he’s no where to be found. Am sure he’s probably sleeping somewhere” Dexter replied as the cafeteria attendant came to serve them their lunch.
Since they are the rich of the rich, they are given better treatment than the other kids.
“There goes your messenger Katrina” Willow said suddenly and they all look up to see Beth helping a middle age cleaner carry her cleaning equipment.
“She’s doing the charity work, seems like she’s less busy” Josephine added which got them laughing.
“Messenger?” Calvin asked wondering why they called her that.
“Well, that’s Beth and she’s the daughter of the maid in Katrina’s home and since she got into this school thanks to Katrina, we decided to use her as our messenger. She’s pretty good with the things she does, you can use her if you need her. She can’t possibly say no” Willow explained while they all laughed except Jason and Calvin.
Apart from being the most richest in Wilmer high, they are also bullies. Calvin thought now hating the fact that he’s among them.
“Well I kind of need some thing from the sto-re, why don’t I call our messenger” Dexter said pulling out his phone to call Beth.
“Just let her be, you can get your stuff yourself right?” Jason said suddenly which got them starring at him.
“Babe, are you talking about Beth?” Katrina asked slowly.
“I am” Jason added before excusing himself from the table leaving Katrina dumbfounded.
“Why is he suddenly defending her?” Dexter muttered.
“Maybe he’s feeling guilty for leaving her for Katrina” Josephine said truthfully while they all sent a glare her way.
“If you don’t mind, I need to use the rest room” Calvin said excusing himself from the table.

Putting the cleaning equipment in place, Beth turn to the storage room only to see Jason standing there.
Ignoring him, she made to walk past but he pulled her back, pushing her against the wall.
“How long will you keep on studying here?” Jason asked.
“And why do you ask?” Beth asked in return.
“Cause your presence here is disturbing. You keep bothering me” Jason stated.
“Why? Is it because you feel guilty?” She asked.
“And why would I feel guilty”
“Cause you left me, you left me in the most cruellest way and began dating Katrina” she said and at that moment Calvin who was pa-ssing saw them and decided to eavesdrop on their conversation.
“Are they having an affair?” Calvin muttered still starring at them
“Is it because of that night? You left me because of that night two months ago. If I hadn’t gone to that masked party, would you have believe my words? Uh, if I hadn’t gone to that party with the others would you have believe me?” Beth continued oblivious to Calvin who was eavesdropping outside.
And Calvin who still stood outside listening in on them, let out a slow smile.
He’s finally found the one person who would lead him to the ten other students.
“Never mind me asking that, it’s all in the past and I….”
“Yes. I would have believed you if you hadn’t gone to the party” Jason said which got her starring at him.
“I told you that I was forced to go, if I had my way then I wouldn’t have gone” Beth said.
“But you went there and ruined whatever thing we both had. It’s your fault that am dating Katrina now, you pushed me to her” Jason said blaming her.
“I pushed you? You should just admit it. Ever since you met Katrina, I no longer meant a thing to you. You’ve always been ambitious and you saw Katrina as a chance to get what you want which is power and money. You couldn’t get that with me and so you discarded me using the party as an excuse” Beth said.
“You know have been nurturing this in my head that you will certainly come back to me, you will realise my worth and come back to me but have realise now that you aren’t worth it” Beth added.
“A guy like you doesn’t deserve a girl like me and am sure that when you are of no use to Katrina, she will discard you like the piece of thrash you are” she ended fiercely.
Not having a thing to say to that, Jason left the room leaving the furious and hurt Beth alone.
Beth was still trying to calm down her anger when she noticed someone by the door way and it turns out to be Calvin.
“What you said to him was awesome” He said walking into the room.
Ignoring him, she began to leave but he took hold of her hand.
“Don’t go, I need to speak to you” he said and immediately she pulled her hand out of his.
“We have nothing to talk about, am not part of the RFR” Beth said as she turn to leave only for him to pull the arm of her dress off revealing her bare shoulder.
“You don’t have it” Calvin muttered while Beth move away pulling back her uniform over her exposed shoulder.
“What the hell are you doing?” She yelled at him.
“Am sorry, I just wanted to confirm something and since you aren’t the one am…..Ouch!” Calvin yelled out when she gave him a punch on the face.
“Dirty pervert” Beth screamed at him before running off.
Calvin touched his bruise cheek wondering why her punch hurt.
He had only wanted to see if she’s his mystery girl. One thing he noticed on the night they made love two months ago, she had a black mole on her right shoulder.
He had thought it beautiful on her that night and it’s also the only thing he can use in recognizing her since he didn’t see her face.
When he first heard Beth talking about attending the party, he had thought her to be his mystery girl and that’s why he tried to confirm but she didn’t have the mole on her shoulder which makes her one of the student which attended the party and who will surely lead him to the rest of the students who were there that night.
Calvin left the room wondering how he would talk to her without receiving a punch from her.

~ KATRINA’S HOME ~
Beth was in the kitchen, helping with the dishes when another maid her age ran into the room.
“You’ve got to hurry, your mom is in trouble with the witch” the girl said referring to Katrina who she also didn’t get along with.
On hearing that, Beth left what she was doing and ran into the house, up the stairs, straight into Katrina’s room.
“There comes your daughter” Katrina said on seeing Beth.
Beth saw her mom kneeling on the floor, tears in her eyes while Katrina sat majestically on her chair.
“Get up mom” Beth said moving towards the frail woman who was kneeling on the floor.
“I can’t, I shouldn’t ” Her mom replied as fresh tears filled her eyes.
“Dumb as always! Aren’t you suppose to ask what her offence is?” Katrina asked Beth who turned to her.
“Even without me asking, you will certainly tell me right? So do tell me” Beth said.
“Fine. I told your mom or better yet, the maid here that you won’t be studying at Wilmer high again and that got her weeping and begging me to think twice about my decision, pathetic right?” Katrina asked a mocking smile on her face.
“Yes. It is pathetic ” Beth replied surprising both women.
Moving towards her mom, Beth took hold of her one good hand and lifted her up.
“Wilmer high isn’t the only school in the country, there are other schools which are more better than it and besides isn’t it time we stop being indebted to her? ” Beth asked as tears shimmer her eyes.
“But this is your future ” her mom said.
“Leave my future for me to handle, it’s time you start thinking about yourself. It’s time we quit and go somewhere else” Beth said and when her mom still look a bit doubtful, Beth added quickly.
“Trust me mom, I have this covered”
“Fine then, I will trust you” her mom said in reply.
Wrapping her arms around her, Beth made to leave but Katrina stood in their path.
“Are you really leaving?” Katrina asked.
“You aren’t deaf” Beth returned smoothly.
“And who will take in an handicap and a drop out like you?” Katrina asked.
“Someone will and you should stop showing how pathetic and low you are” Beth said which got her widening her eyes in shock.
“Did you just call me pathetic?” Katrina asked.
“Of course. You are pathetic, a spoilt brat and a big time loser. You think I don’t know the reason why you hate me when I did nothing to you. It’s because you know you are inferior to me, you know am better than you in everything and that’s why you keep bullying me, why you went as far as to steal my boyfriend”
“Shut up!” Katrina warned moving towards her.
“Does the truth hurts? Someone has got to tell you the truth, you’ve got to know that you are nothing without your father’s wealth backing you. Katrina you are nothing but a loser” Beth ended fiercely.
“I said shut up!” Katrina screamed wanting to slap Beth but she held her hand, pushing her on the floor which got Katrina bruising her hips on the floor.
“Have only held back because of my mom and now that we are leaving, I see no reason not to fight you back. Let’s go mom” Beth said as she pulled her mom, they were at the door when Beth ran back and taking hold of some of Katrina hair, she pulled ha-rd which got Katrina screaming out in pain.
“Enjoy the pain, bit-ch ” Beth said with a triumphant smile on her face even as she left the room with her mom.
A while later, Beth and her mother stood outside with their luggage while waiting for their transport to arrive.
“I love what you did back there to Katrina” her mom praised.
“She deserves it” Beth replied with excitement.
“Am sorry, I stayed on thinking we need their help. I knew you were suffering but then I didn’t want us to leave, my arm being useless won’t be….”
“It’s okay mom and have told you severally that you shouldn’t say your arm is useless. I know a lot of people whereby they had stroke and didn’t make it, you went throu-ghthe same thing and you are still here, am glad to have you here momma” Beth said which got her mom teary.
At that moment their taxi arrived and they put in their stuffs in the booth.
“Where exactly are we going?” Her mom asked.
“A place which am sure will be better than Katrina’s home” Beth said which got her smiling.
