I went to the supply room to get the equipment we may nee-d. I walked down the hall when I heard someone call me name.

“Have you seen Joan?” He asked
“No, have you tried calling her?”
“I did but she hasn’t picked up any of my call or messages and now I’m beginning to get worried..” he said

“It’s ringing…” he said as we walked towards the toilets and heard a familiar ringing tone to see the phone of Joan in the hands of embrya living both of us confused. I couldn’t see the patient on the floor due to do clique of nurses around the b©dy.

“She was injected with carbonyx….” Embrya finished my statement
“I thought it was banned by the government…” I said

After the commotion I went to Joan ward hoping she’ll be okay.

“We’ve tried everything, there isn’t any hope for her”
“What are you trying to say” Aiden asked
“I’m trying to say move on, there’s no hope for her in a few hours her heart will be frozen and she will die..” Lukas said without remorse
“So are you saying my sister will die?”

“We don’t know what happened but I think she was attacked by someone who wanted to kill her..” I said
“And who might that be?” Lukas asked with a mischievous grin
“I don’t know but it has to be one of your employees..” I said as Lukas let out a laugh
“None of my employees can kill a fly, there isn’t a record of any order of carbonyx, again I’m sorry but we tried to do our best….” He said calmly

Later that day Embrya went to Lukas office with some files in her hands
“Sir…” Embrya called out
“What is it?”
“Remember you said there wasn’t any record of carbonyx, I found this files, someone in the hospital has been secretly ma-king orders for not only carbonyx but illegal ha-rd drugs and selling them un-der the name of Delilah Shaw for the last years and it’s last order was early this year, do you know what this means sir?” She asked
“I don’t know what do you think?” He asked as he dropped his pen and paid attention to her
“They are forged supply of carbonyx…” Embrya answered as Lukas got up wearing a mischievous smile
“Where do you think they are hidden?” He asked as he folds his hands and glare at her head to toe.
“According to the files they are in…..” Embrya st©pped realizing that she has just dug her grave.
“You, you’re the one selling carbonyx, you’re the one that injected that poor lady..” she stepped back about to run but he gr!pp£dher and slammed her against his desk.
“Smart girl you are not going anywhere now that you know” he placed his f!ngerson her face but she sl@pped his hands away. She pu-ll-ed back and fell to the ground and saw another paralyzed figure, her eyes searched it and found out that it was Sonia, she was covered in blood.
“So how would you like to die, quic-k or painful?” He said pu-lling out a gun.

“Then you should have mind your own business, I had a family and they were all burnt to death, life is short, your sister will just have to learn how to be and orphan….” Embrya reached for her phone and dialed gold number but she was sh0t right in the sp©t.
Lukas POV ?
After getting rid of Embrya b©dy I head to Joan ward one more dose of the drug will freeze her heart and she will die.
I entered her ward it was dark and the sheets were covered.
“Now you will die just like Delilah did” I swipe the sheets off to see an empty be-d.
I walked out of the ward to the nurses clique and pointed at one of them
“Where is the paralyzed patient?”, I asked
“Her fiancee checked her out saying something about going to Oakland for some medication.”

“Plane boarding to Oakland no one survives, your money wi be paid to you in cash immediately the job is done”, I said and cut the call Joan must die.

My enjoyment was cut short after Ava race into my house and the guards tried to st©p her

“It’s for the best Aiden, she can’t know..”
“How’s London and Joan….”
“She’s responding quic-kly although she is still full but the baby and her are safe from the paralysis..”
“You are smart Jayden how did you know that Joan was being targeted?”
“I s-en-sed it and gave the information about Oakland giving us enough time to elope, and the plane was empty that’s why there were no survivors recorded”.
“Smart guy, this confirms that Joan knows our killer since he tried to kill her”.
“Well our killer has been busy, a nurse has been said to be missing some days ago, remember that Lukas said that there was no exploiting of carbonyx well I looked into the records someone by the name of Delilah Shaw has not only been ordering carbonyx but also other ha-rd drugs, Gold has to be careful she might be next….” I said
“Delilah that name sounds familiar, I’ll get back to you if I find any more information, I nee-d to check up on Joan..”

“Goodbye…” I said as I smashed the phone on the floor so now no one can track them.
Lukas POV ?
I switched off the TV, now the detective and the tracker are dead, gold is a step closer to be mine.
