Gold POV 🌟

I breathe in and out trying to calm my nerves if the surgery does not go well. If I perform it he’ll either die or wake up with little side effects.

“I’m calling Joan” Jayden said

“Too late I’m alre-ady here..” Joan creeped behind us and we flin-ched

“How did you get here?” I asked confused

“I’m Aiden’s sister, I put a tracker in him since he was 18 and I stole one of the nurses key card” she said flagging the card

“Gold you’re awake” Joan said pu-lling me for a hvg.
“Since you’re here can you convince Gold not to br@in flash Aiden…..

“You want to br@in flash Aiden!!!!” She coughed at the last p@rt

“Are you crazy??”

“That’s the same thing I told her…” Jayden said

“Shut up, I wasn’t talking to you” she spat at Jayden

“Gold you can’t do this, you’re still a nurse in training, what if you kill him..” she did had a point, embrya had explained to me how dangerous it was to conduct without an expert

“He’s your brother don’t you want him to live..” I tried to convince her

“I’ll love him as much as you do but what if it’s unsuccessful..”

“He’s going to die either way if I don’t!”

“Then what if it’s successful, you know the reason why It was banned, what if he looses memory of you?”

“Let’s think on the good side, Joan plea-se….”

“It’s either you sacrifice Aiden not having a single memory of you in his life , that risk is too big, let the professionals do their job..” Joan cried

“Okay I won’t do it…” I said and Jayden let out a hvge breathe of relief.

Jayden went out first and Joan followed. I looked back at Aiden like slee-ping beauty waiting for his princess to wake him up. I’m Aiden princess charming and his only hope right now.

Joan c@m£ back and caught me staring while Jayden stood by the door.

“Come on gold let’s go before we get caught..” she said and took my hands

“I’m sorry…” I pushed her out of the room and swipped the key card locking me inside with Aiden and keeping them out of the room.

“Gold don’t do this, open this door now, it’s too big of a risk , Aiden will die …..” Joan screamed as she ban-ged the door

I ran across the room to get the flash. It was like pen and a bu-tton in between.

“Gold don’t do this…” I heard Joan scream but ignored her.

I pressed the bu-tton as a res light shone and waved it across his face. It must be done three times and carefully so that it doesn’t pene-tratehis br@in.

I dropped the flash waiting for a sign but nothing. I placed my head on his stomach battling with my tears.
I felt a pair of arms gently tra-p me in a hvg and comb my hair. I looked up to see Aiden wearing a faint smile.

“Aiden……”

“Do you remember me?” I asked as he combe-d my hair.

“What are you talking about Gold and why am I in this hospital…” Myl-ips were on his cutting him off before he could finish his statement.

He remembers me…..

Joan POV 💫

I can’t believe this, Aiden survived the br@in flash with just little side effect. He only doesn’t remember what happened within the last 24 hours. That means he doesn’t remember the misun-derstanding he had with gold and the accident.

The doctor’s were still shocked on how he survived but I’m glad he did.
Gold is with Aiden so I gave them some space to talk while I roamed about the corridor of the hospital.
I’m jealous of Gold and Aiden they truly love each other, I just wish Jayden and I were the same.

A mysterious hand clamps myl-ips and eyes and pu-ll-ed me into a room.

My hands traced down to my abd0m£n for my gun but it wasn’t with me.

“Whoever you are you better hand me my gun else I’ll shock you to death..” the lights switch on and I turned around.

It was Jayden holding ti-ght my gun and shoved it in his pockets.

“You have two seconds to let me go before I break your n£¢k.”

“Pls hear me out first, I’ll let you go after that and stay away from you”

“What do you want?”

“Joan you’re a str!pper, you smoke, you drink and you go wild in p@rties without giving a fv¢k of what the public thinks about you…”

“And why exactly am I being insulted..” I said but he held my hands.

“Joan wait…”

“You are also more than those things, you’re a great cook, great friend, great sibling and you’ll also make a great mother and I don’t care what others say about you… I’m sorry i couldn’t express myself earlier, this baby is a ticket to start a new life. I love you Joan, I always did and I should have told you all his while. I cherish you and will treat you as a queen till the day you die, WILL YOU MARRY ME??”

“Of course I will…” I said as he slides the ring in my f!nger.

“I love you Joan…”

“I love you too..”

Aiden POV 💥

Gold sat down next to me the entire time, she wouldn’t even leave when Joan suggested.

“Can I get you anything” she asked and I shock my head
“Are you sure?”

“I’m fine I don’t nee-d anything….

“I’m just glad you’re alive”she said smiling

“Promise me you’ll never scare me like that again..” she said

“If you promise you’ll never br@in flash me without my permission…” I said and she giggled

“Next time I’ll wipe you with a plank” she said as Joan and Jayden walked in holding hands

“What are you guys back together?” I asked

“You guys broke up?” Gold asked confused

“Yes we broke up but now we’re back and engaged” Joan said screaming

“That was so loud, I bet the zygote in you also heard the scream” I said as gold g@sped.

“Wait you’re pregnant, is it a boy or a girl” Gold screamed excitedly

“Oh my goodness, for God’s sake I just woke up from a comma” I said and they all bur-st into laughter

“Aiden….” I heard a familiar voice ask traced it to a familiar face as my eyes wi-den in shock.

Gold POV 🌟

I twirled as my eyes darted to a woman standing at the door, she wore a light make-up. Her skin was as white as snow.
Her long blonde hair neatly parked up, she wore a black demon dress revea-ling her perfect b©dy.

A smile crawled in her face, she looked happy and excited as she made her way to Aiden but Joan c@m£ and stepped in her way.

“Ava…” Aiden said in shock. Joan who wore a bright smile slowly turned into a frown but the Ava didn’t seem to be bothered.

“Joan get out of my way…” She growled and glared at her

“What did you say to me?” Joan asked a gave a devilish chuckle

“I nee-d to see Aiden okay”

“And why should I…” Joan persisted

“Joan plea-se…” Aiden tried to intervene but joan sh0t him a glare and he immediately shut up.

“Joan get out of my way right now I nee-d to speak with my fiancee…” Joan immediately landed her palm on her left cheek.

“You have the guts to call him your fiancee after you cheated on him, with Richa-rd of all persons, and even after he forgave you, you still left him at the altar and left the country. You messed with Aiden and you have the right to come back here and call him your fiancee….” Joan flared.

“I had a reason to leave and I’m back now…” Ava said

“So tell me what’s the reason you left..” joan asked

“That’s confidential, I never meant to hurt Aiden and I still love him and I’m back now so we can still be together…

“Well he’s not interested..” I spoke up before even thinking

“Excuse me, the adults are talking and who the hell are you??” Ava said and I walked slowly to her.

“The name is Gold and Aiden is not interested.” I repeated and she let out a mockery laugh.

“What do you this is a child’s pla-y, who are you to Aiden??” She asked with all confidence

“I’m His…”

“Gold that’s enough, leave, all of you….” Aiden said

“Five minutes is all I’m allowing” Joan said and Aiden nod.

Everyone began walking out but I decided to stay.

“Whatever you want to say to her you say to me too..” I said

“Gold plea-se leave, this is between me and Ava…” He said with a plea

I slowly made my way out but st©pped at Ava .
“Don’t try to do anything funny..” I said in a whisper and walked out.

Aiden POV 💥

“What are you doing here in New York?”

“I c@m£ because of you” she said with a smile

“You left me and c@m£ back when I’m about to die, why exactly are you here Ava??”

“Because I love you and I know you love me too..”

“You are gravely mistaken, loving you was my biggest mistake, if you had loved me you wouldn’t have cheated on me or left me on the altar or at least ran away, you made me cuss the day I fell in love”.

“I left you because I wanted to protect you..”

“From what Ava??”

She went mute and heaved in frustration as tears c@m£ dripping from her eyes.

“What about those things we shared, the memories, our adventures, is this because of that bit-ch” she asked

“Your time is up, so now you nee-d to leave” I said getting annoyed.

“Maybe since you woke up from a comma you’re a bit confused, I’ll give you some time to think about it, when you’re re-ady here you can call me…” She said dropping a piece of paper at the be-d and exit the room.

Jayden walked in as soon as Ava walked out.

“So did she s£dûç£you?” He asked

“No!!” I answered almost immediately

“Good I thought she would use some of her charms to try and convince you to get back with her. So you told her about Gold?” Jayden asked

“Gold nee-d to l@ylow for a while, Ava is a very jealous person, the last time we d@t£d she landed a girl in the hospital for looking at me..” I said and he laughed

“Where is Gold and Joan anyway?” I asked

“Gold went to the hospital cafeteria to get something to eat, by the way she’s resuming her training tomorrow and as for Joan she just walked out of us leaving me confused, I don’t know where she is, she seems off..”

“Wait I nee-d you to do a research on why Ava is back, I don’t trust her motive and I know she’ll do anything to get back at me even if it means killing Gold.”

“Wow more work to do, fine but I nee-d to go find the girls first, see you” Jayden said and exit the room.

Joan POV 💫

Gold went to get lunch while I went to check on the test I took earlier concerning my baby gender.

I was directed to Lukas office as I made my way throu-gh the corridors. I’m really getting sick of this hospital.

I tapped gently on the door but got no reply. I put my ear on the door but still didn’t hear anything. I opened the door slightly and still contemplating if I should go in.

The office was dim and dull because of the window blinds. The room was cold and smelled like paper. I placed my hand on my nose to prevent myself from breathing the dust.

I searched and turn the light switch on. There was nothing in the room ap@rt from a desk drawer which took almost the room space. I sat on the drawer waiting for Lukas.

Bored waiting for him I scanned throu-gh some files as my eyes caught one of them in a binder.

“Richa-rd is doing a plastic surgery….” I laughed as I fli-pped to the next page, I g@sped and blinked to make sure I was seeing the right thing.

“Richa-rd willed his property to Lukas…” Something is definitely wrong here, I know Richa-rd will never be foolish to do such a thing, how did this happen.

I fli-pped the pages fas-ter scanning throu-gh the files and c@m£ across a file about Gold, I dropped Richa-rd file and picked the one of Gold.

“Delilah will…” The name sounded familiar.

“I Delilah will the following un-der Lukas for future purpose in case anything happens.
The do¢v-ments of my hospitals around the world.
My house and last but not the least my most valuable treasure, my daughter Gold…” My eyes wi-den in shock.

This Delilah is gold mother, then that means Gold mother owns this hospital, that’s why Lukas is back it makes s-en-se now.

“Delilah willed Gold un-der Lukas that means she’s Lukas property…..” Immediately a metal collided against my head as I staggered, I turned to see Lukas holding a metal rod.

“You’re only trying to get Gold for yourself” I said dizzy and nauseous.

“Congratulations Joan knight, you figured it out and now you’ve earned your ticket to the land of death….” He sh0t a wicked grin at me. I sl@pped his hands and tried to push him out of the way but he took my hand and pu-ll-ed me back and sank a nee-dle into my upper arm pushing me to the ground defenseless.

“What did you do to me” I asked about to pas-s out

“I injected you with carbonyx, in a minute you’ll be paralyzed and I feel bad for you seeing that you’re pregnant with twins…” I was in shock as I couldn’t move again.

“Why are you doing this??” I asked in tears

“I want to take back what’s mine, I want to make sure your brothers suffer for what they did to me especially Aiden..”

“Aiden never did anything wrong to you…” I said

“That’s where you are wrong, he killed Delilah before my very own eyes. She took me in when everyone turned against me and your bastard brother killed her. One way or the other they will pay starting with you….”

“I will kill you” I growled out

“That depends if you don’t die first” he said and sh0t me a devilish grin and just like that my whole b©dy bec@m£ paralyzed.
