AYOMIDE

Part 15

There was an uproar in the church Pastor Greg announced that a sister donated two plots land to the church. Members wanted to mention the name of the donor.
“She would like to remain anonymous” the pastor informed them.
Ayo was glad that she could give the land to the church as part of her service to God.

She also impacted in the community. She reached the widow, orphans and the less privilege. She donated exercise books for children. She empowered the youth and women so that they can be self reliant without depending on anyone for survival. Ayo engaged the help of some professionals to train them in different vocations. The community head was very happy with Ayo who impacted on his people.
———————————–
Ayo wanted to spend time alone with God, so she went to the church. There was no activity but she had the urge to spend the time in church alone with God. The church compound was quiet. Apart from the security man, she didn’t see anybody. As she entered inside the church, she heard someone sobbing. She noticed a woman knelt at the altar sobbing. There was no way she could pray when the woman was still crying. She took a seat and sat, waiting for the woman to calm down. Noticing that someone was in the church, the woman stood up to leave the church.

“Can you please hold on ma.” Ayo quickly walked to her. “Good evening ma. Why are you crying?”

Instead of responding she cried more.
“Talk to God instead of crying. Your tears won’t change anything ma.”

“It’s not your business why I am crying. Haven’t I talked to Him enough. He is just there watching me suffer. I hope He’s happy now?”

With that the woman rushed out of the church. Ayo stood even more confused. She didn’t know what to do.
The following Sunday and other days, Ayo tried to look out for the woman but she never showed up. She had never seen her before. She doesn’t know her name or how to locate her.
———————————-
Ayo jumped out of the bed. It was 2:11am. She had the urge to pray but didn’t know what to pray for. She just felt there was nee-d. She went in to warfare prayers then went back to sleep. By 6:56am, she felt a tap on her leg. Ayo opened her eyes and went back to sleep. The Holy Spirit tapped her again.
“I want to sleep”

“This is not the time to sleep child”

“Would you like any soul to perish?”
“No sir!”

“What is the mission of the devil?”

“To kill, steal and destroy sir.”
“The devil wants to destroy Rosemary!”
“Rosemary? But who’s Rosemary?

The Holy Spirit started ministering to Ayo about Rosemary.

“How do I find her?”
“Do you trust me Ayomide?”
“I always do sir.”

The Holy Spirit instructed her on how to find her.

Without bathing, Ayo left the house. Wasting time was detrimental. Since it was about life and death, Ayo didn’t see the nee-d to waste even a minute. In no time she was standing before a big compound with a big brown gate. She knocked and knocked but there was no response. She pushed the gate and it gave way. She entered and wondered why such a beautiful compound would lack a security man.
“Hello, hello! Is anyone in?”she called out but there was no response. She opened the door and found herself in a big sitting room. There was no one there. She looked round and admired the beauty of the place.
“Money is good oo.” She mused and smiled
“Don’t just stand here” she the voice told her.
Quickly, she moved forward opening and closing beautiful rooms. Then she heard a voice sobbing gently. She walked to the direction where the sob was coming from. The pause at the door and listened again.
“I can’t stand this pain. Everyone I love is being taken away. I don’t even know my sins. Why am I being punished for what I know nothing about?” The voice sobbed more and resumed speaking. Just when I was trying to recover from the lose of your father, Pelumi your elder brother pas-sed away. As if the punishment wasn’t enough, Joshua followed. Who is punishing me?” She lamented.
“Look at you my son. Why are they taking what belongs to me? It hurts Olajide.”
“Where’s the sniper mummy? I will just take it and forget about the pain”
“I bought it but I am taking it with you now”
Ayo opened the door as she heard everything.
“No way!” You have no right to take my life. Ah! You were the one I met in the church the other time.”
“What do you want? You have no right to barge into my house like that.”
“Pardon me ma! I was sent here this morning and there was nobody at the gate.”
“To me? Who sent you?”
“You’re Rosemary Ogunriola or are you not?”
“I am”
Ayo moved to the bed and saw the skeleton of a man on the bed. He was as good as dead. He was all bone.
“What happened to him?”
“He has been on this bed for almost a year now. He woke up one morning and discovered he couldn’t move. I have practically taken him everywhere but no solution. I have money but no solution. My money can’t buy any solution. What’s the essence of life then.” She used her wrapper to wipe her nose.
“You have taken him everywhere but have you taken him to God? Ayo didn’t even wait for her response.
“He sent me to you. He said you nee-d help. You’re in captivity.
“You sent you to me?
“The Holy Spirit. Suicide is not the answer to your problems. The Balm of Gilead is here right now and He wants you to trust in Him.” She looked at Olajide and asked. “Do you believe in God?”
“Yes!” He whispered weakly for there was no strength left in him. “God has the power to heal you. Let’s pray!”
Ayo prayed and prayed. It got to a point, Olajide started screaming and vomiting. Rosemary and Ayomide couldn’t believe the strength with which Olajide screamed and spoke.
“I will not leave this body. My mission is to destroy him and I won’t leave until I accomplish my mission”
“I command you to leave this body with all your loads. Whatever you have deposited in this body, begin to pack them. You must not leave anything. Pack them and go now in the name of Jesus.” Ayo prayed violently, calling down the fire of God. By the time she was throu-gh, Olajide had messed himself up.
“Bath him and get him food to eat.” She told Rosemary.”

AYOMIDE
Part 16

Ayomide was very tired. She nee-ded to sleep but she noticed that four strange women stood in her room looking so bizarre.
“So you’re the little girl daring us” the leader said pointing her finger at Ayomide.
“How dare you snatched the prey from my mouth. He is our meat and we must eat him” she fired beating her che-st.
“Rosemary is too pompous and I killed Dele her husband because she snatched him from me. I killed her first and second son too” the meanest of then said laughing. Did it hurt her? Hahahaha! She laughed wickedly. I am ready to wipe everyone including her. Hmmm! Joshua her second son was very yummy and his blood tasty. She foolishly ran to me thinking I was her friend but I consoled her then killed him. I didn’t pity her. Look at Olajide, he is too intelligent for my liking. Everytime Rosemary would rush to me telling me how he is doing well. If he gives her money, she will show me. Haaaaaaa! She told she was confining in a friend. How can she be telling me great things about her Children when mine are not doing well. Among her Children, Olajide star shone brightest. He single handedly built a big house for his parents while mine couldn’t build even a mud house for me. Rosemary kept boasting about her Children. Telling me what her husband does for her when mine isn’t even responsible. So i took away what will pain her. You can’t take away Olajide from our hands.” She told Ayo. She wanted to bounce on but there was a strong for-ce that would not allow her go close to Ayo.
“You’re wasting your time.” She told them.
“We can’t allow him go free” they chorused.
“He is free already. Whom the Lord has set free is free indeed. Olajide is free and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
“Rosemary and his son will die” they started making incantation while Ayo went into prayer.
“The battle is mine Ayo. Hold your peace and I will fight for you” the Lord told her.
Suddenly, they started screaming. Fire fire. Where’s is the fire coming from. Gr0-ning in pain, they all disappeared.
———————————-
Ayo was constantly checking on Rosemary and her son. She prays with them before leaving. Olajide knew he was healed and his recovering was gradual. She never told them how she was visited by four strange women but she constantly advised Rosemary not to disclose anything about herself and son to anyone.
“You can see ones teeth – whether white or brown but not the heart ma. The word of God says that the heart of man is desperately wicked. Who can Know it? Ma, forgive me but learn to hold your mouth.” She told her. That is how blunt Ayomide was.
———————————–
It was announced at the church that corper Ayomide who served actively in the church was leaving Lagos State. She was throu-ghwith her NYSC. Alot of people were sad. Those who knew her knows they were about to lose someone great. They still talk about her activeness and service to God and her community.

“It’s not me but God. God will bring another co-labourer to this church.
She was gifted with lots of money and other things.
” Please stay connected to the source always. Be prayerful and support the church in your own capacity. Cheer up! You have God on your side” she told the members encouragingly.
———————————–
“I am leaving Lagos ma.” Ayo announced to Rosemary. “I am throu-ghwith my NUSC.”

“Oh dear” she said hu-gging Ayo. So soon! Stay a little please.” She begged with tears dropping from her eyes.

“I can’t ma. I missed my parents. My service for God didn’t allow me to see my parents. I have not gone home for a year and I missed my parents.”

“Everyone I love are living. Why? She sobbed.
“Don’t cry ma. I am the only child of my parents and they missed me too ma.” “Your tears will make me restless.” She wiped the tears from Rosemary’s face.
“Come” Olajide who was still like a skeleton said” he beckoned with his bony hands.
He took Ayo’s hands in his.

“Thank you Ayomide. I can ask you not to go home to your parents. You healed me. Thank you!”
“No. God healed you not me” he told him quickly.
“Alright. God healed me. If I was up on my feet, I will take you to the finest place on Earth. Thank you. Give my mum your home contact details and I will try and reach you when I am finally on my feet”
Before she left, she prayed with them and encouraged both of them to cling to God.
———————————–
Bro Kola and his wife were happy to welcome their daughter back home. They had moved to their new home before Ayo’s arrival. Sis Adenike own a big supermarket at the front while bro Kola was into transport business.
Ayo’s joy knew no bounds for God’s hand was clearly visible in their lives. Now that her parents are settled, she will go in search of job.
“Don’t worry. You will get a job” her parents would encourage.

Whenever Ayo is sleeping, Adenike will enter her room and start decreeing upon her daughter.
“My daughter is great. Her light will never dim but will reach to the ends of the Earth. The gate of hell will not prevail over her. She will not be mocked. The wrong man will not cross your path.” Sis Adenike would pray and pray….
