The shoot right throu-ghmy heart. I was so shocked. I look at my chest, rubbing it with my shaking hands…. hoping to feel pains and see blood but nothing….. nothing was there….I look at him….he smirk and turn away talking to his men and they were laughing.
“Nina…. are you alright?” Moo asked
“No…..!” I answered. “How dare him try to bully me…..I don’t let anyone bully me….I’ll show him am not afraid of him” i said.
“Nina wait!” Moo tried to stop me but I didn’t stop. I walk out of the room. I didn’t know the way but luckily I saw a lady. She was beautiful….like heavenly.
“Hey you!” I said and she frown.
“Me?” She asked. She had a beautiful voice too.
“Yes….show how to get down there!” I said pointing towards the guy.
“Oh….but….” She look at me and smiled “okay…take this steps….down the hallway…. you’ll see they way down…..”, I didn’t wait for her to finish and ran down the steps.
“Greetings to the crown princess Victoria” Moo greeted.
“She must be the girl the gods sent to Kai?” She asked.
“Yes your highness… please excuse my presence i have to keep an eye on her so she doesn’t create a mess” Moo said
“Yes…. please go after her” she said and Moo nodded.
Victoria crush her hands in her gown. That little slut…she just come into the palace and she doesn’t know her place….how could she call her hey?….., You just wait little girl….I’ll soon put you in your place….Kai won’t love anyone except me.
I got to the big yald. Moo have been trying to stop me but I kick his monkey body off me.
“Hey you!!!” I yelled drawing everyone’s attention. Kai slowly turn around slowly. He was so like a fallen angel…but too bad he’s a devil inside.
“Step aside!” I said to Moo who was dragging my skirt. I walk boldly towards him. Everyone was surprised. This is the second time am close to Kai and not freezing. Victoria watch from up the palace.
“Why did you shoot an arrow at me?” I asked, but he didn’t answer and it made me so angry. “Hey…Kai right?, That’s the name???” He look up at me and his eyes darked. The bright weather began to change.
“What did you just call me?” He asked and walk closer to me. His breath was hitting my face. It was so warm I almost forgot myself.
“Kai….!!” I yelled.
“Say that one more time and I’ll shoot a real arrow into your head!!!” He warned.
“No….am the one shooting an arrow throu-ghyour head….just because you helped me last time gives you no right to bully me!!” I yelled. Thunder strick…I shivered because of the noise.
“Why don’t you shoot me an arrow too…if you can” he said and smirk.
“Let’s do that!” I agreed and drag the bow from his hands. I used force to drag it thinking he was holding it tight but he wasn’t and I fell backwards with the bow…and the men began to mock me.
I took a bow and set it on the arrow. Kai sit down on his chair.
“Am not going to be easy on you!” I said and he smirk. I set the arrow. I stretch the bow and all of a sudden a great wind can and blow the now and arrow off my hands. Before I knew it I was on the ground. My back hurts……
Alex began to miss Nina. It’s the third day…he have switch his phone off so she can’t call him and refused to see any one. Today he finally on his phone, but there was nor call or message from her. But there was lot of them from her family.
‘Alex…..is Nina with you?’ that was from Runa
‘Alex…Nina has not come…is she with you…’ that was her mom. ‘i tried calling her but she left her phone at home…. please Alex tell me am worried’
Alex almost collapsed…..he quickly called Nina’s mother to confirm if she has returned home but she said no. Alex almost cried. He called his secretary….
“Find Nina…..make sure you bring her to me immediately” he said. It was his fault…if only he didn’t tell her not to contact him for three days….what if she misunderstood and hurt herself.
They search for Nina till the next day….the news of Nina’s disappearance was already in the internet and news center. Kate said she want home after see her that day.
Kate was so worried too….just then she remembered what Nina told her about her being trap in a STAR NOVEL, could it be true?,
She brou-ght out her phone and quickly open the story page…..there were new episode of Nina….in another world. She was so shocked that she throw her phone away………how is that even possible. She even mention about her engagement with Alex….. Kate didn’t know what to do….. should she tell Alex about this….if she does everyone will think she’s crazy…..
Kate was so worried and confused.
I opened my eyes and I was in a room covers with herbs and smoke….I jump off the bed.
“Nina….you’re awake….” Moo said. My head hurts like crazy.
“Wh….what happened?” I asked.
“You don’t remember?” Moo asked.
“I…only remember falling on the ground… nothing more” i said.
“Well after you fell down….you challenge the prince for a sword fight….you greed the fight should be till death!”
“What!!!….,…., I….I did that?”
“Yes…..you know how heartless the prince is….he was willing to kill you….” He pointed at my shoulders and it was wrapped with clothes.
“He did this?” I asked
“Yes… If not for king Vansham the 5th you’d be dead by now….” He said.
“Why….why didn’t I remember anything?” I asked.
“Because it was so horrible….king Vansham the 5th have to wipe the memory….he heal most of you wounds too….the one on your shoulders should be healed by now” he said.
“Am not afraid of him…..and if getting on his nerves and anger him more is to marry him?, Then I will…..” I turned to Moo “he won’t be able to touch me if i marry him right?” I asked and he nodded. “Go tell the Queen I’ll marry her son…but she must keep her part of the deal”
Moo was shocked too…..”you’ll be alright on your own right?” He asked before leaving and I nodded.
Immediately Moo left he appeared into the room.
“What do you want again?” I asked and his face darked. Rain has been falling with heavy thunder and wind.
“Am going you a chance to leave this kingdom and never to return” he handed me a little box. “It will cover all your needs…I’ve told my men to guard you to the neighboring kingdom and never to return!” He said.
“Too late Kai…am already going to marry you!” I said.

“I said I’ll marry you…..” I yelled. I hope this annoys him the more. Hes getting on my nerves.
“You should know what you’re asking for…..” He said
“What are you scared to marry me?” I asked.
Kai was actually the quiet type but he found himself arguing this naive thing.
We lock gaze……I wasn’t willing to break it and neither was he. The door was open. Moo froze as he saw us gazing at each other.
“Kai……!” The mother called from outside. She couldn’t come inside because she will freeze.
“Kai…..” A dee-per voice called. Kai broke the gaze and looked surprised.
“Grandfather???” He called. The old man was grey all over. Kai bowed at him. “Greetings your majesty”.
“Hmmm….looks like both of you are getting along well” he said.
“Grandfather…..”
“What a beautiful girl you are!, What’s your name again?” The man cut Kai shut.
“N…Nina” i said
“What a name!” He smiled. “I heard you agreed to marry this mannerless grandson of mine!” He said and I giggled. Kai throw dagger gaze at me.
“Yes he sure is!” I reply so as to anger him more and it seems to work.
“So you’ll marry him?” He asked.
“Grandfather she’s not my type….I don’t…..”
“Yes…..yes I’ll marry him” I said and the glas-swindow began to crack. Seeing this I was surprised I wasn’t scared. He glaze at me.
“Good……then your wedding we be head in two days….”
“What!!!!”
“Grandfather!!!!” Kai murmured
“I give you two my blessings…..” He said.
“T….tt… two days?” I stammered, “I can’t get married to him in just two days….I don’t even know him…..!” I yelled.
“Don’t worry dear you’ll get to know him after your wedding……” He said. I was surprised Kai was quietly standing there….he wasn’t moving or saying anything. Then Victoria came in. Kai finally Rai his head and look at her. There was so much love and hate in his eyes.
Wasn’t she the girl who showed me the way to Kai?. She look at Kai and lower her head. But Kai never remove his eyes from her.
“Am Victoria…the crown princess of Vansham” she introduced herself. “I’d love to be in charge of your wedding education” she said smiling. She seems nice…..I smiled back at her. She seems nice.
“Am Nina” i said and she sat close to me. I look at Kai again his eyes were still on her. Then he suddenly disappeared.
Victoria was a very nice person. She toured me round the palace and taught me so many things…..in just a day…. luckily I was a fast learner.
“Where is Moo?” I asked after noticing moo was no longer with us.
“I told him to leave us….I have something to tell you about prince Kai” she said.
We sat under a big tree. The air was nice and so was the view.
“Kai once had a girl he loves darely” she said
“What?, Really?, I thought he was allergic to women?”
“Yes….but not to her…..she was his everything” she said smiling.
“Okay…..so why are you telling me this?” I asked.
“To make Kai turn human again you have to make him fall in love again……” She said
“Love again?”
“Yes….I can help you…..” She offered. I was really excited. Victoria was friendly and nice…..I felt lucky.
Kate was following all the chapters.
“Is she crazy?, She wants to get married to a stranger?, This is not happening!” She yelled.
“What is not happening?” Alex said from behind. Kate froze.
Alex came and sit beside her.
“Tell me what’s going on?” Alex asked.
Kate of course had feelings for Alex…..she wanted Alex to fall in love with her but he fell for Nina her friend….well now Nina is gone and is about to even get married, this is her chance. “Am sorry Nina but you don’t even love him” she whispered.
“Kate…..tell me….what’s going on?, I know you know something about Nina’s disappearance” he said. He wasn’t angry…he was trying to be understanding…his voice was calm.
“Am sorry Alex…..but I promise Nina not to tell you…..”
“Tell me what!?” He frown.
“N…. Nina’s getting married to another guy tomorrow!!!”………………TBC
