Kai has been up for a long time now. Nina was holding his hands very tight making his hands sour. The worse of it all she was still fast asleep. He wondered if she’ll ever wake up.
He wanted to wake her up but seeing her peaceful face when she sleeps and remembering last night, he decided to let her be. Her breath was smooth and relax.
The door suddenly opened it was Baron.
“KAI!!” He yelled
“Shhhh…….” Kai yelled.
“Sorry but you have to come see this!” Baron whispered
“Just go…I’ll be out when she wakes up” Kai whispered again.
When Baron got outside he from. Seeing how Kai now threats Nina…. it’s like they are now getting along well enough.
Kai kept on admiring Nina’s face… maybe because he hates her so much he hasn’t noticed how beautiful she is. He reached out and touch her li-ps, he remembered that night, the kis-s.
He felt the smoothness of her li-ps on his palm. He wanted to taste them again. His hands moved to her cheeks and he rub them. They were so soft….just then she frown, he quickly removed his hands as her eyes slightly opened.
I opened my eyes slightly because of the brightness. I saw that Kai was still in the bed though he was still awake.
“Good morning…you’re still here?” I said my voice was broken maybe because of last night. I could even hardly hear myself.
“Can you let go of my hands now!” His voice sounds angry. I quickly realized his hands.
“So…sorry I didn’t remember!” I jerk off. Kai stood up quickly and started ma-ssaging his hands.
“Get dressed… we’ll go say good morning to the Queen” he said still rolling his hands and ma-ssaging it. I felt sorry.
“Kai… about my dream last n…..”
“It’s just a dream Nina……a useless one” he cut in and entered his bathroom.
Kai and I walk side by side to the Queen’s room.
“It’s been years since you’ve done this Kai” Victoria said as she walked towards us with Kaleb.
“Why are you here?” Kai asked and she smiled
“We were waiting for you two…so we can greet the Queen together” Kaleb said “Nina it’s your first time too right?” I nodded.
I was still afraid so I kept walking beside Kai.
We greeted the Queen. Wished her happy birthday and kis-sed her knuckles. When it was Kai’s turn the Queen shred tears and hug-ged him.
“I missed you so much Kai…thanks the gods you’re getting better” she said.
“Me too mother” Kai replied.
“Nina you come here” she said and i walk up to her……i remembered my dream again….I shiver. “It’s okay…come here” she added and i walk to her.
“My Queen!” I said with my broken voice.
“What happened to your voice dear?” She asked and i looked at Kai.
“It’s nothing mother” Kai cut in.
I tagged along with Kai again.
“Nina….can you just stop following me!” He yelled.
“Kai….”
“You’re pestering me…..” He added
“But am scared” i said
“I told you it was just a dream…..am trying to get things done here….so please go out..don’t make me force the guards on you!” He yelled again.
“Am sorry…I’ll leave!”
Immediately she left Kai told Baron.
“Straighten her guards to 100 men”
“I’ve already done that and a demon have entered the palace….we don’t know it’s form but we know it’s up to no good, three guards were found dead with their heart ripped out of their chest” Baron said.
“Send emergency notice to the shimmer and the master of the animal realm….tell them Nina is in trouble” he said
Han and Eva walk side by side and I was in between them.
“That Kai is so heartless” i murmured
“Nina…do something happen?, Why are there guards around you” Han said
“What?”
“They are almost 100 of them watching over you” he said.
“I guess it’s Kai!” I finally smile…so he cares but he’s still acting like he don’t.
“Let’s sit over there” Eva said.
“The Queen party will be held by night…I heard people from all over the kingdom will be here” Eva said.
“Really….?, Speaking of people I met someone yesterday” i said
“Who?” They both asked.
“He said his name was Zed….we bump into each other, so he helped me up….he kept on asking for my name but i refuse to tell him. When he wanted to leave he put a black rose on my hair….but I threw it away” i said and their eyes wide open.
“Nina…what do you say?” I turned around and it was Kaleb…..” Did you tell him your name?” He asked
“N..n.no..i didn’t…is everything okay?” I asked.
“No…let’s go inside” he said and Dr me along.
Kaleb drag me into a room.
“Kaleb what’s going on?” He asked. And he fell down and changed to Zed. I staggered back in fear.
“Hi….Nina…..your name is Nina right?, My masters would be happy to see you” he said
I wanted to scream but he covered my mouth. “Be good….and i won’t hurt you”
Eva and Han saw Kai and Kaleb walking towards them.
“Where’s Nina?” Kai asked.
They were both quiet.
“What’s wrong with you two, where is Nina?” Kaleb asked.
“You can to take Nina” Eva said
“What?” Kaleb frown.
“You took her with you not too long ago” Han added.
“Kaleb have been with me…..what nonsense are you spitting!!!” Kai yelled and suddenly he felt his heart beating fast……”Nina is in trouble……..”…………..

I glared at Zed. “Kai would find me in no minute!” I brag. My voice was sore….if not I’d have scream to the top of my voice.
“Not if I turn to you….” He said and transform into me. I couldn’t believe my eyes as tears filled my eyes
“Why are you doing this to me?, Who sent you??” I cried in frustration.
“Why are you doing this to me?, who sent you??” He sounded exactly like me.
“Let me go…..Kai will surely find out!!!” I said.
“Oh will he….?,” The wall opened and Victoria came in.
“Victoria…. I should have known…you evil witch” i cursed as she slapped me.
“You’ll rot in here Nina….don’t blame me….Kai made a deal with the south witches so am just helping out” she smiled. “I warned you….but you won’t listen Nina…., Zed…go act like Nina…Kai is beginning to sense she’s in trouble!” She added and Zed went out like me.
I panick as I struggled to free myself but the ropes were too tight. The more I struggled the more I get injured. I didn’t want to die like this…….
Zed who was now Nina ran to the guarden.
Kai hold his chest.
“Look…. isn’t that Nina?” Eva pointed.
“Nina…..” Kaleb and Han yelled together.
Nina ran to them “am fine…am here” she smiled.
Kai eyes darkened as he walk to her.
“Where the hell have you been….did you know how worried i was?, Didn’t I told.you to stay with Eva and Han?, Why are you so stubborn!!!!” He yelled.
“Am sorry…..the guy looked like Kaleb….but I was suspicious because he was dragging to the end of the palace so I escaped” she lied.
“Are.you hurt….did the demon bastard ha-rd you?” Kai asked
“No am fine” Nina said.
“You must have been scared….am sorry…, I’ll catch that demon myself” Kai said and hug-ged her. Kai could still feel his heart beat racing, maybe she was just scared.
The party has started. Kai has been holding Nina’s hand.
Kai began to feel his heart sore, his heart beat was slow. He rub his chest. He looked at Nina. “Nina are you sure you’re okay?” He asked.
“Yes…am perfectly fine!” She smiled cheerful but why was his heart down….or was she lying to him. Kai was suspicious. He looked at Nina….he grab her jaw and kis-sed her surprisingly. Victoria sure this and was angered. Guess this Nina of a girl was succeeding in seducing Kai but it won’t be long.
Kai kis-sed her ha-rd and finally let go. Then he noticed, it wasn’t the same. Nina would always whine if he kis-sed her too ha-rd and her li-ps was always warm but now her li-ps was cold and hard.
“Am sorry i push you away earlier” he pretended not to.know.
“It’s okay your highness” she said. That’s it. Nina always called him Kai…she has never called him your highness… “I love you Kai….” She added and he faked a smile.
It was time for Nina to serve the queen a drink. She was smiling brightly and her beautiful emerge with the moon. Everyone admire her.
“STOP!!!” Kai yelled. Ge walked to Nina.
“What wrong your highness?” She asked smiling.
“You’re not Nina…..” He said and Victoria was shocked. Seeing things was not going as planned she ran out.
“What do you mean?” Nina asked.
“If you’re Nina….drink the wine in your hands” Kai said.
“But I….it’s for the Queen” she acted innocent
“Kai….what nonsense is this…stop bullying her already!!” The Queen yelled.
“No mother….this is not Nina……” Kai said and drew out his sword “you can fool everyone demon but not me!!!” He added and Zed smiled as he transformed into his real self.
“Busted” he smirk and everyone shivered in fear.
“Where is Nina!!!!” He yelled
“I don’t know…..you made a deal didn’t you….?” Zed smiled.
“I won’t ask you again!!” Kai warned
“If you kill me you’ll never find her….. she belongs to the southern witches now…you traded her….., Oh you should see how she kept on saying Kai is going to.find me…I believe in Kai…Kai… this Kai that….you should see her tearing face and sour voice as she forced herself to scream……” He laughed and Kai stoke his sword and cut his legs.
“Where is she!!!!” Kai’s eyes began to turn blue again. Thunder began to rumble, wind began to blow…the ground he stands began to.freeze. “I SAID WERE IS NINA!!!” He yelled
“Kai you have to calm down!!!” Kaleb yelled but Kai wasn’t listening.
“Kai…….we have to fine Nina together…..Nina needs you…. please calm down!!” Kaleb said again and the wind stop but his eyes were still dark blue. He was breathing heavily. He was still holding Zed as wasn’t going to let go until he sees Nina.
I opened my eyes….I was very weak….I saw three people in black and Victoria pointed at me.
“Oh special one…..let’s go!” The loses me and hold my hands tight, I tried to move my body but it wasn’t moving, it was like i was paralyzed.
“No….no….Kai……Kai…..please…..Kai…..” I was barely whispering but I kept calling his name…..I don’t know but I just kept calling him. It was like my dreams….they drag me along with them…….I looked at Victoria…she was smiling, more like happy.
“No….let me go…..” I cried again.
“Going somewhere?” I heard a voice. I wanted to turn and look but I was paralyzed from head to toe only my eyes could move. I recognize the voice as shimmer voice, I was a little relief.
“Get away shimmer…. she’s our” the three people said I one voice.
“Well last time I checked she belongs to.kai…and he’ll soon be here…..nice work Victoria but let me just tell you that your plans failed!” She said and Victoria disappeared…………………..
