“Why! How? What if it was poisoned. We can’t just jump into conclusion if is changed or not. What if he’s still after you. You know what extent he went trying to get revenge for Emily. Who knows what length he will go trying to have you to himself.
He can’t be trusted. Not so easy, he will have to prove he’s worthy of my forgiveness”Khalid replied angrily.
“I am sorry, I thought you’ve forgiving him after he learnt the true, I have the feeling he’s feel remorseful about this”Jasmine said looking at Steve.

Khalid who was damn angry keep staring at him furiously. Jasmine was watching looking for the next line of reaction. Khalid make a bl-ow and landed it on his face. He vented out his anger.
“ha-rder bro, ha-rder”Steve shouted. And Khalid keep hitting him more. Jasmine wanted to stop him Steve stopped her.
“plea-se let him hit me. Maybe he won’t be angry again”Steve said and she stopped.
“Are you guys serious at all, this is a hospital” She yelled.
“Dad common, hit him more” Dan shouted In his babylish tone smiling. That’s when they realized he has been awake without them noticing.
“Aish” Khalid punches him ha-rd one more time and rushed out of the ward.
“I wish you forgive me”Steve mumbled tou-ching his cutl-ip.
“You are bleeding, why would you ask him to do that? You know,anyone will want to do that. Common you are going crazy right now”Jasmine said feeling pity for him.
“Atleast that’s a relief that I might got a chance to be forgiven. You don’t have to worry, this only makes me realized how stupid I was since all this while.
And if he believes I poisoned this food I will eat it all. It may look awful because this is my first time of cooking since I have become an adult.
But I prepared it with sincere love for my brother. I am sure he will forgive me. I Know Khalid well. He’s stubborn and can be mad. But he don’t know how to keep malice with someone for long not even when you’ve asked for forgiveness.
He can come back now and say buddy you’ve been forgiven, or he will do it indirectly” Steve said smiling.
“I didn’t hear anything. I covered my ear”Dan said.
“Oh really boy. So how do you know we are talking. And what are we saying”Steve asked smiling. He went to sit at the edge of the be-d pla-ying with his cheek.
“You are trying to get dad to forgive you right?”Dan asked.
“Yes my boy, did you have any clue”Steve asked , smiling. ,
“What will you give me in return if I tell you the best way to do that”Dan said, and scoffed.
“You are really wise, just like Khalid. Okay I promised to buy you something big”Steve said.
“Tell me what you will give me first”Dan said with a pout.
“That’s a secret, but I promise you something big “Steve smiled.
“Can I trust you. Hmmm”He said and put his hand un-der his jaw doing some thinking.
“I am waiting, bring you ear. I don’t want your mum to know”Steve said and took his mouth closer to his ear. He whispered something to him.
“Mum can do it, she’s the only one that can make him forgive you so easily. Trust me when I say that” Dan said pointing to Jasmine.
“Oh I see, but how do you know that” Steve asked smiling at the wonderful words coming from him.
“Because I am smart and can see what’s going on here. Can’t you see when mum shouted he stopped. You both aren’t smart at all. And plea-se I want to go home. I hate the smell of this place”Dan said and rest his back.
“You are as smart as Khalid. Thanks for the advice”Steve nodded his head.
“Jasmine do you have any idea of what he’s saying. He’s a child but we both know he’s right. plea-se can you speak with him for me?”Steve asked.
“What if I don’t agree. Where’s that tasteless food. I am starving”Khalid said coming into the ward. He brou-ght out the food Steve brou-ght and opened it.
“Hmm, It scent so nice” Dan said.
“No my boy, it scent awful. Lemme have a bite”Khalid said and took a bite Pelmeni( Dumpling)..
“Do you see what I am saying. This taste awful. Don’t you even add onions, why is the spicy in a side”Khalid complained. Steve smiled knowing that’s the way he do complain anytime he cook.
“Dad can i have a little!”Dan asked.
“Yes”Khalid replied, and feed him.
“Aww, yummy. I mean it so awful. Who cook this food. That person must be a Chief, no bad cook”Dan said trying to support Khalid.
“I only listen to the first comment. I think it make s-ense for Dan to have said yummy”Jasmine said and also move closer to take a bit. Khalid hold her hand.
“Bend,I will feed you”Khalid said and feed her.
“Oh my God this is yummy. Steve you are really a chef”Jasmine praised, and took one.
“Bro thank you for forgiving me. Can I also have one?”Steve asked smiling.
“And who told you have forgiving you. I only eat this because I was farmish, and the food is not even sweet. Like what the heck?
But if I can finish this, I will manage to forgive you, and if I don’t, you must always make sure you prepared another one everyone”Khalid said with his mouth filled with dumplings.
“Oh my goodness, we haven’t brush” Jasmine shouted eating the dumpling in her mouth.
“Jas you can come and see your uncle anytime you wish, he’s free now”Steve said, and Jasmine and Khalid glare at him at once.

Clara was arranging meals she will take to Khalid and Jasmine In the hospital into lunch bag in the kitchen. Leo stroll in.
“What do you want sir?”Clara asked.
“I have told you not to call me sir. I am just Leo. I mean Leo the lover boy”He said scratching his head.
“Lover boy, as in how?”Clara asked smiling.
“Is it proper to tell her this early morning? Did I apply my perfume well? What if she says my mouth smells. Does it really smell?”He thought and breath out then smells it with his nose.
“What’s that for?”Clara asked.
“Do you see me? Did I do something nas-ty”He asked and rushed out of the kitchen. Clara laughed silently.
“He’s referring to me, why all the strange behavior, or is he checking if his mouth smells. And the perfume,that’s too much.
Like seriously. Leo can be really funny. I think I like him too, why can’t he just say whatever it is. I am desperate to hear this”Clara thought and pouted.
Maddy POV
I was coming downstairs when I bu-mps into Leo, Who rushed upstairs without saying a word.
He didn’t even reply my greetings. And the funniest thing, his perfume was too much that it could suffocate someone.
Why his he like this? I must find out.
I rushed after him. Unluckily for me his door was locked from behind.
How do I get to know what’s happening.
