“Eddie, do you think this shirt matches with my new hairstyle?” Jace turned from the mirror to Edward.
He was actually dressing to go out.
“This is the third time you’re asking me this and did you just called me Eddie?” Edward replied as he looked at him.
Jace sighed and faced the mirror again.
“You know I don’t know why you’re worried about your looks all of a sudden, you’re not going to see the president! You’re just going to see Jenis or don’t tell me you’re falling for her already” Edward rolled his eyes.
“What!?” Jace immediately turned to face him.
“No one is into anyone, we are just friends and I told you before that I love looking good no matter what, okay?” He shook his head with a frown.
“Okay okay, no need to eat me” Edward muttered and faced the laptop he was pressing earlier.
Soon there was a knock on the door.
“It might be Jenis, let me go get it” Edward stood.
“Don’t let her see me, I’m not done..” Jace was talking but Edward already went to open the door.
He met Lucky standing there and the first thing he did was to look at her hands.
“If you didn’t bring me any food then why are you here?” He asked.
“Is Jace in?” Lucky asked back.
“Yeah I don’t think it’s a good idea to see him because he’s going out” Edward replied.
“Oh I don’t want to disturb him, I’ll just come back later” Lucky smiled and stepped back.
Edward shrugged and closed the door before going back to his bed.
“Who was that?” Jace asked.
“Lucky,my project partner, she wanted to see you” he shrugged.
“Why?”
“I don’t know, she wanted to see you and not me so I don’t know” Edward twitched his li-ps and took his phone.
“Okay, I’m done with dressing, she can come see me later” Jace said, he took his perfume and spray on his body before leaving the room.

When Lucky got out, she met the girls sitting outside on a bench together.
“What’s wrong why did you come back?” Gwen asked the moment she saw her.
“Jace was going out and I couldn’t stop him but maybe when he’s back” Lucky shrugged and sat with them.
There was silent for a while before Naomi’s face suddenly brightened up.
“That’s it I got it! I know what to do!” She said and everybody looked at her.
“Lucky how about we confess our feelings to Chase and Jace in the party on Saturday, we’ll look really irresistible that no one would be able to take their eyes off us then somehow since it’s a party, we’ll find something special to tell them” Naomi said.
Lucky slowly looked at her with a smile.
“Why didn’t you think about that earlier? When should we go shopping?” She asked.
“Like Friday evening” Erica said and they all nodded.
They were all talking about the shopping expect from Gwen who was just quiet.
“Gwen are you alright? Why so quite all of the sudden?” Naomi held her shoulders worriedly.
Gwen looked up and slowly shook her head.
“It’s nothing” she muttered.
“Maybe there’s a guy, who’s the guy tell us let’s know who you want to confess to” Lucky shouted and the girls began bugging her.
“True, I’ve never heard Gwen talked about a guy before” Naomi gasped.
“She don’t even look like the falling in love material, she’s always so serious” Erica said.
“I know right, I mean Gwen and a guy? Who’s this lucky guy” Lucky winked.
“Yes Gwen tell us, come on!” Naomi poked her shoulders.
Gwen shut her eyes tight and held her head.
“Stop” she said slowly.
“Awwn, she’s shy, don’t be shy!” Erica laughed.
“Yeah, tell us the guy, you already know ours!” Naomi laughed too.
“Seriously guys stop” Gwen breathing was a bit shallow.
“I never knew I bestie can be as shy as to just tell us this one guy! I know this is your first time crushing on someone but..”
“When I say stop! You stop okay!??” Gwen suddenly stood up and yelled at Naomi.
“Woah, calm down” Erica and Lucky looked surprised with Gwen’s sudden outburst.
Naomi stared at her with an unbelievable gaze and Gwen breathed in, her cold eyes softened up immediately.
She fell on her seat and shut her eyes tight then there was silence for a while before she finally spoke.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it” she muttered
“It’s fine” Naomi said slowly.
Gwen looked elsewhere and coveted her face.
“I feel so ashamed of myself right now” she muttered again.
“If something is bothering you, you can always tell me, you can always tell us, I mean we are your friends and we’ll understand, we always will” Naomi said softly.
Gwen looked at her with w-et eyes.
“I’ll tell you but not now, maybe later, please don’t pressure me okay?” She said and Naomi nodded.
“Are you sure you don’t need a hug?” Lucky’s voice slowly came up.
Gwen stared at her for a before shaking her head.
“I’m fine, don’t worry!”
The atmosphere became dull again and Erica stood up.
“Let’s not let our day end like this, is anyone not hungry? Let’s go get something to eat come on!” She clapped her hands loudly.
“Yeah, I’m pretty hungry” Naomi stood up, followed by Lucky.
Gwen stared at them before nodding and standing up too.

Jenis was sitting on the swing and pressing her phone when she heard some footsteps.
She looked up to see Jace coming towards her and she smiled and tapped the empty space beside him.
Jace smiled and sat down next to her.
“Hey, thank you for agreeing to hang out with me today” he said.
“Sure, I was bored too” she shrugged and he nodded before looking at her.
“So we can do something else apart from games like talk about something else” he said.
“Something like?” She asked.
“Like you, me, tell me something about you, I want to get to know you more” he said and her heart skipped a tiny beat.
“I don’t have much thing to say, you can start first” she cleared her throat.
“Same here I’m so boring but I’ll tell you about myself, my dad is the owner of Leo X gaming company, he use to be a gamer, really good one and I wish to be just like him” he said and Jenis smiled.
“What about you? Who are your parents, what do they do for a living?” He asked.
Jenis smiled and looked elsewhere, a sweat dropped from her forehead but she immediately wipped it off.
“My mother.. she.. she’s an investor in a big company in country Z, can’t really remember the name because I don’t pay attention to most things and my father… He’s a founder of rain money company, yeah” she nodded nervously.
“Rain money, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that” Jace said.
“I mean, who’d have time to look up various companies” Jenis laughed and Jace chuckled slowly.
“Any past relationships?” He asked and she shook her head immediately.
“Never had not like I don’t want to but I’m not just ready” she replied.
“Well I’ve dated two girls in the past, that thing were you’ll just wake up and be like, I don’t feel like doing this anymore, we don’t feel like it” he said and she nodded, following up with him.
“So.. how do you see me as? Do I look like someone you want to have something with me?” He asked and her eyes a bit.
“Hey I’m not saying it’s for real, I’m just asking” he chuckled.
“Great, I mean I don’t know you look like a great person, it won’t be bad I guess it’s just that I su-ck” she said and laughed.
“No one is perfect and I think you’re cool too” he said and she smiled.
The both of them began talking about other things later on and each time, Jenis was stylishly look at his face.
‘I’m sorry Jace, you might not forgive me when you learnt that I lied to you’ she thought and concentrated on what they were doing.

As promised the girls went to the shopping mall to look for clothes for the party.
“Remember guys, we are here to look se-xy” Lucky said as they stepped inside the boutique.
“You mean, the both of you are the ones that wants to look se-xy because I’m not going to party to confess to any guy, I’m going there for fun right Gwen?” Erica asked and Gwen nodded.
“Whatever, oh look at that” Lucky pointed a red dress and they rushed over to it.
“Looks so se-xy, who do you think it’ll fit in me and Naomi?” Lucky asked.
“I think Naomi” Gwen replied.
“Really?” Naomi asked.
“Why don’t you go try it out first” Erica said and Naomi nodded and went to the dressing room.
Few minutes later, Naomi came out in the red gown, it’s not bit-ch y but se-xy, it has this cut on her clea-vage and her tummy and the dress was short, stopping at her thigh.
“Do I look good in this dress?” Naomi asked.
“Good?? You look really se-xy!” Lucky screamed
“I know right?” Erica said with an unbelievable look but Gwen didn’t say anything.
All of them turned to look at her.
“Oh, I mean there’s nothing for me to say again, they’ve said it all, you look so good” Gwen shrugged and moved to another cloth section.
“Is it just me or is Gwen acting weird?” Lucky muttered.
“How weird?” Naomi asked.
“I mean she sleeps so late in the night and she’s even more quiet than usual, she even yelled at Naomi yesterday, I just feel like something is a little off with her” Lucky muttered.
“She might just be in her time of the month, Gwen is usually cranky when she’s seeing that stuff” Naomi replied with a simple shrug.
“But still, we should still try to look out for her and know if she’s really okay or not” Lucky muttered.
“She said she’ll tell us and we should not pressure her so let’s leave this for now and think about the party, remember there’s a confession coming up” Erica reminded them.
“Guys over here, I’ve seen something that Lucky can wear” Gwen called from afar with a smile.
“Let’s go” Naomi said and they all walked over to her direction.

The party was on already, the coloured lights and loud musics could be seen and heard along with some students chatting, talking and having fun.
“Dante’s house is quite big but not as big as mine” Xavier said as he stepped in with the boys.
They were all dressed se-xily apart from Edward who only came because of the food.
“I bet his party would be so lame” Jace rolled his eyes.
Chase didn’t say anything, he was just looking around, waiting for the girls to come.
“Let’s go get a drink” Xavier said but Chase didn’t answer.
“Chase are you with us?” Edward asked and Chase nodded immediately.
“Let’s go” Jace said and Chase went with them.
Soon the door opened and the girls stepped in.
“Dante’s place is just like I imagined, really ugly” Erica scoffed.
She was dressed in a crop shirt with Palazzo while Gwen was putting on a blue dress.
Lucky was in a gold flare dress and Naomi red, they were wearing make ups that suit them really well but Naomi and Lucky’s own was the thing to talk about.
“The guys are over there, do you wanna say hi to them?” Erica asked.
“I’m not going, I’ll just sit over there” Gwen pointed a chair.
“Let’s go” Naomi said to Lucky and Erica and they all went to where the guys were staying.
Xavier and Chase cheered their glas-stogether before drinking, Jace was about to help himself with a glas-swhen he saw Naomi and her friends walking over to them.
He tapped Chase to look at them.
Chase and Xavier raised their head up in slow mo. Chase eyes were on Naomi while Xavier on Erica.
“Naomi” Chase called when she got to him, he gave her a good stare.
“You look so beautiful, I almost didn’t recognize you” he said with a sincere smile and she blus-hed a little.
“Erica, you must be here to dump piranhas in the party?” Xavier said with a smirk.
“The party is too innocent, your pan-ts will be okay” Erica smirked back and Jace chuckled.
Lucky cleared her throat and Jace looked at her, she stared at him and he kept looking at her in confusion.
“This is the part where you complement her dummy” Erica rolled her eyes and Xavier laughed.
“Oh I’m sorry, Lucky you’re looking breath taking this night” he said and Erica rolled her eyes.
Chase was stylishly looking around for Gwen until he saw her sitting on an empty chair and pressing her phone.
“Is your friend not feeling well?” He then asked Naomi.
“She is, she just needs some alone time. Hey what are we doing with the music, let’s go dance” Naomi grabbed Chase’s hands but Chase didn’t stand up.
“Come on Chase, now is not a time to be playful, the music is wasting” Naomi pulled him again.
He smiled and stood up then went to the dance floor with her.
“Let’s dance Erica” Xavier stretched his hands out.
“No thank you, I’m not dancing” Erica slapped his hands off and walked away but Xavier stood up and went after her.
Jace and Lucky were alone, Lucky was starting to think if it’s the right them to tell him yet.
Making up her mind, she breathed in.
“Jace-”
“Wanna dance?” They said at the same time.
“Oh sorry, go ahead and say what you want” Jace chuckled.
“Dance! I wanted to say let’s dance” she said immediately.
“Alright” Jace stretched his hands out for her.
She smiled and accepted before he took her to the dance floor.
