This is Naomi’s room, she was sitting on the reading table, pressing her laptop and at the same time, waiting for her mother to pick her calls.
Her mom finally picked and immediately, scolding started as Naomi had expected.
“Naomi you brat! You’ve gone to a big school and you’ve forgotten that you have a mom!” Tiana, Naomi’s mom started firing at her.
“No mom,I was just busy” Naomi rolled her eyes.
“Oh busy doing what? Making rich friends? Going to parties, sleeping with rich guys or having rich boyfriends, what are you so busy with that you don’t even have time for your own mother??” Tiana wide-ned her eyes.
“Mom you’re-”
“Even Gwen calls her mom almost everyday!” Tiana cut her off.
“Okay don’t bring Gwen into this, it’s..” as Naomi was talking, she saw the door opening and her father stepped in looking tired.
Tiana noticed and looked back, she narrowed her eyes at him.
“You come here!” She called him over.
“Not now Tiana, I’m tired!” Doreen gro-aned.
“You’re tired to see your daughter’s face but you’re not tired to run to work every morning” Tiana frowned.
Doreen ignored her and continued walking.
“Or could it be that you’re married to one of your co-workers and have a secret family together? That’s why you don’t care about your daughter anymore?” Tiana demanded.
Naomi rolled her eyes from where she was sitting and leaned back on the chair.
Doreen sighed and walked over to them but suddenly, Tiana gasped.
“What now?” He was frowning.
“Your shirt, what’s this..” she brou-ght her hands to his shirt, the collar side to trace a li-pstick stain.
“What’s wrong?” He asked.
“Doreen you bastard! You’re cheating on me again!” She yelled and pushed him.
“In 3, 2, 1..” Naomi slowly counted as she inspected her fingers and the next thing she knew, argument between the both of them has started.
“Okay bye mom, dad, it was fun talking to the both of you!” She blew kis-ses before ending the call.
She rolled her eyes and threw her phone one side.
“That’s it?” A voice sounded behind her and she turned back to see Jenis looking at her.
“What?” She asked.
“That’s how your parents argue all the time?” Jenis asked her question clearly.
“Yeah? And what am I supposed to do? Be their councilor and tell them to stop fighting?” Naomi rolled her eyes.
“I mean yeah, that’s why you are their child, you’re meant to stop them from doing things like this but you aren’t even worried” Jenis replied.
“They will be fine” Naomi rolled her eyes again.
“No they won’t, heated arguments like that can lead to separation” Jenis said.
“My parents can never leave eachother, infact they can’t do without themselves, maybe you should speak for your own self” Naomi shook her head and put on her head phones.
Jenis sighed and took her phone before logging into bow for glory.

Someone on a dark thick boot stepped into the school pa-ssage and murmurs started already.
????I can’t believe this!
????Dante is showing up in clas-safter so long!
????He’s looking so hot as usual, he haven’t even changed a bit!
Dante smirked at the comments he was getting from the girls, as it should be but suddenly all of them suddenly ran past him with a huge scream.

Dante slowly turned back to see almost all the girls surrounded Chase who just entered and he frowned de-eply.
“This Lockwood guy again” he muttered.
“Okay okay ladies, I know you all love Chase now he has to be in cla-ss, so please” Jace cleared the road so they could pa-ss.

The girls were still blocking him but they somehow managed to pas-swith force.
“What was that?” Chase asked with a chuckle when they got to cla-ss.
“It’s just a little, welcome to being popular” Xavier smirked and Chase only shook his head.
When he got to his sit, he was surprised to see Dante sitting there.
“Get up” he said.
“Why?” Dante smirked.
“Don’t look for trouble so early in the morning and just gently leave” Chase sighed.
“This was my sit before you resumed here so I’m not standing up” Dante smirked again.
“Seriously no one has ever told you how awkward you look when you smirk?” Chase asked and Dante’s smirk slowly turned to a frown.
“Don’t be a pûssy and just get up” Erica said from where she was seated.
“Hey if you don’t want to get it from us, get your as-sup” Xavier added and Erica rolled her eyes.
Dante looked left and right, everyone was glaring at him, he turned to look at Chase who just crossed his arms under his chest.
“Ganging up on me will do all of you no good” he replied and looked elsewhere.
“Chase don’t stress it, there’s a free chair next to me” Edward called him.
Chase stared at Dante one last time, he had this satisfying smirk on his face and Chase could tell that he must be feeling so happy by now.
He sighed and went to sit beside Edward. Just then Naomi and Gwen stepped in, Gwen went to her sit and Naomi went to the back.
She was shocked when she saw Dante instead of Chase.
“What are you doing here?” She asked angrily.
“Like? What sort of question is that?” Dante smirked.
Naomi just rolled her eyes and went to the front then the lecturer came in and took over.

Defeat! Defeat!
Lucky gro-aned as she stared at her phone.
“Why do I keep failing this stupid game!” Lucky gro-aned as she walked out of the cla-ssroom.
“I don’t get why you have to stress yourself so much,go to Jace and tell him you like him, I thought you were brave enough” Gwen sighed as she walked beside her.
Lucky suddenly stopped walking and turned to look at Gwen with a serious face.
“I know I might seem so crazy and playful and I know I might look like I really joke a lot but the truth is I really like Jace, I’m not really sure about fairy tales, I’m cute, he’s cute too and we look good together but de-ep down I’m scared to tell him, I’m scared of him turning me down and I’m scared of heartbreak” she said seriously.
“Wow” Gwen muttered and Lucky pressed her li-ps together.
“I’m surprised with the way you talked just now, I can so much relate to what you’re saying but I’ll advise you to only just try, you’ll never know if he likes you or not if you don’t tell him” Gwen touched Lucky’s shoulder as she said softly.
Lucky smiled and nodded.
“Thank you Gwen, you really are an angel, I’ll look forwards to doing this” Lucky said.
“You better” Gwen wrapped her hands around her shoulders.
“I wish to be like you Gwen, you have loving parents that bond really well and put you first and you have a really good best friend, you look like you’re problem free, I just love your flaws, you’re almost perfect” Lucky said and Gwen laughed.
“Just shut up, you know nothing.. let’s go!” She smiled and pulled Lucky away from the school hallway.

It’s already late in the night, everyone should be sleep by now but Gwen was alone in the art studio.
‘I’m not flawless, I’m not close to perfect and I’m not problem free, I’m almost struggling with the same thing as you lucky’ Gwen thought with teary eyes as she kept on painting on the drawing board.
‘I’ve heard about falling in love with this guy you a-ssume to be ‘the one’ but I never thought it would be like this,I never wanted it to be the guy my best friend likes and I still didn’t believe that I’ll get so attracted after he fought for me at the pool’ she thought again and dropped her paint brush down.
She just painted Chase and Naomi, smiling together.
“I’m actually scared, I’m scared of losing our friendship because of me, I’m scared of becoming the bad person in this story and I’m scared of being the cause of your first heartbreak” she muttered and tears sli-pped out of her eyes.
“I’m so sorry Naomi” she shut her eyes tight and began crying.

“There, put it there!” Dante said frustratedly at the two guys that were helping him to carry a big banner.
The banner was set the way he wanted and he smiled.
The banner says he was having this house party on Saturday night.
????Yayye another party!
????I don’t think I might wanna miss this one!
The students that saw it became commenting on it while Dante just smiled proudly.
Chase just entered the school, he stared at the banner and rolled his eyes but Dante suddenly pulled him back.
“You’re invited to my party Saturday night Lockwood” he said.
“Sounds boring, I won’t be there” Chase replied and turned to leave but Dante blocked him again.
“What do you want? All you’ve done since you’ve shown up is to trouble me! Can’t you leave me for now please?” Chase snapped and left.
Dante just scoffed.
When Chase got to the cla-ss, his phone began ringing and the call came from Vic.
He sighed and picked the call, Vic face pooped into his screen and he was eating this time around.
“So how did looking cool went yesterday?” Vic asked after dropping his bread.
“I did look cool but..” Chase trailed off.
“What?”
“I didn’t see her there, she wasn’t watching me” he said.
“Really? Try something again, try to get her really jealous” Vic suggested.
“How?”
“Ion know Chase, there must be pretty girls in school, start hanging out with them in front of her” Vic rolled his eyes and sipped from his coffee.
“I don’t know about that one man, the girls in this school seems crazy, I’m not ready to start what I can’t finish” Chase muttered and noticed a lecturer stepped in.
“We’ll talk later” he said and hung up.
“That handsome dude is your big bro? I only know about you having a baby sis, why didn’t you tell me you have a big brother too?” Jace who was sitting besides Chase, asked.
“When did you even get here?” Chase creased his brows.
“Long enough to hear that you’re trying to impress this girl? Who is that lucky girl by the way?” Jace winked.
“You don’t have to know” Chase muttered.
“Hey guys, is anyone coming for Dante’s party?” Xavier appeared from the other side of Chase.
“I’m not going” Chase replied.
“Don’t be boring” Jace said.
“Seriously! All that guy has done is to try to get into my pan-ts and I don’t share pan-ts Jace, I can be very ugly when I’m really vexed” Chase said in a low and cold voice.
“Woah… The voice is giving off Mafia vibes” Xavier whispered and Jace chuckled.
“One more word at the back and I’m matching all three of you out!” The lecturer warned from the front of the cla-ss.
Xavier rolled his eyes and faced his book along with Chase and Jace.

“Y’all I won’t be in the hostel today, I miss fu-cking” Xavier winked as he left the cla-ss.
“I’m going to talk to Jenis” Jace stood went after Jenis who just left the cla-ssroom.
Chase looked around and settled his gaze on Edward.
“Hey man, wanna walk to clas-stogether?” He asked.
“Nahh, I’m going to eat, join me?” Edward replied.
Chase refused and Edward shrugged before leaving.
Chase began going on his own when he bumped into Naomi.
“Chase, I’ve been looking for you, will I see you in the party Saturday night?” She asked.
“Nah” he shook his head.
“Really? The girls and I are going but since you’re not going then I’m not either” Naomi pouted.
“The girls?” Chase asked, in his thoughts, Gwen must be part of them.
“Yeah but don’t worry..”
“You’ll see me there” Chase cut her off.
“Really?” Naomi narrowed her eyes.
“Hmm.. let’s escort ourselves out of here” he wrapped his hands around her shoulders.
Naomi looked at him and smiled before they left together.

“A party” Vic repeated what Dominic told him.
“Yeah I don’t wanna go there but I heard she would be there” Dominic replied.
They were both of sitting on the couch and talking, Shirley who was busy arranging the dining table only just looked at them and shook her head.
“Okay I see.. this can be even better, you see it’s a party so obviously there’s gonna be lots of..”
Vic was talking but Shirley suddenly walked over.
“There’s no need to stress yourself over things like this, it’s just one simple girl that you like so instead of going throu-ghjungles to show her, why don’t you just try to be direct” she said.
“I’ve tried once but I don’t like the way she treated me” he muttered.
“Like I’m so confused, what has this girl done to make you so interested?” Vic asked with his eyes so narrowed.
Dominic sighed and leaned back on the couch.
“Right from day one, even before I met her in the school, I don’t know I just love her look, her voice, her smile, the way she walks and the way she does everything” he sighed and pressed his li-ps together.
“I don’t really know why her of all people but I just hope it works out between us, I mean it would be so nice to finally be with a girl of my age, someone I’ll be able to cuddle and laugh with everyday just like you and Shirley” he said with a little smile.
“Awwwn, baby pas-sme the tissue” Shirley used her finger tips to wipe the little tears from her eyes.
“You can’t be serious right now” Vic said with an unbelievable look.
Shirley stopped crying and cleared her throat.
“Really that was touching and I really wish things can work out well with that girl but anything can happen and if you end up getting rejected, there’s a huge bowl of ice cream in the fridge” Shirley said.
“Babe!” Vic laughed.
“It’s okay, I’ll be going to my room” Dominic shook his head and stood up then excused himself out.
“You’re so naughty, you’re telling him that and decreasing his hope” Vic poked her cheeks.
“I’m not, I’m just trying to get him prepared, I mean the girl might not be into him the way he is to her and you’re giving him too much hopes up, it can crush him” she replied him.
Vic sighed and rested his head on her shoulders.
“That’s true” he muttered.

Lucky found herself standing in front of Jace’s room.
“Can I still do this, maybe I should just do it tomorrow” she turned back but bumped into Erica, Gwen and Naomi who were angrily crossing their arms and blocking her path.
“Guys…
“There’s no need to chicken out girl, you’ve got this! And I thought we talked about this yesterday” Gwen sighed and rubbed her forehead.
“I know I know but it’s not easy..” Lucky pouted.
“Do you know walking out of here means giving up on him?” Erica suddenly moved forward and asked.
“What do you mean?” Lucky narrowed her eyes as she asked.
“I’m saying I don’t want to hear you talking about Jace ever again” Erica replied.
“Yeah so do it now, go get your man!” Naomi pushed her forward.
“And you too Naomi, I hate all these stupid crushes I’m hearing so go tell Chase you like him right Gwen?” Erica asked.
Gwen heart skipped a beat at first but she nodded immediately.
“Yeah.. yeah” she said.
“Hey don’t look for a way to drag Lucky out of this, I have a special way of confessing to Chase so leave that to me now go Lucky” Naomi pushed Lucky forward again.
Lucky slowly looked back.
“Fingers crossed” Gwen smiled at her and stylishly looked at Naomi.
Lucky bit her li-ps and nodded.
“Here goes nothing” she muttered before knocking on the door…
