“I will pay you $70M ” Dean repeated but Kaylan ignored him before walking out of the mansion fully
She stood Infront of the mansion and cried bitterly
“Why do I always have bad luck” she cried. “$70M is a hug sum of money and will also go along way for mom’s surgery ”
“What should I do? Mom might die and Molly might end up being a dropout like me,,, What should I do?”
” Your mom has nothing less than 2weeks to live. Think about it kaylan, It’s not as if he’s gonna have s-ex with you” part of her subconscious mind told her
” Isn’t it better for your mom to die a peaceful dead than for you to carry a stranger’s child?” Another part told her
“Argghhh” She screamed in tears before walking out of the compound.
Collins stood at a distance looking at her and that moment he felt pity for her
“She must have been going throu-gha lot” He sigh and walk back into the house
“Your cheeks might feel like hell right now” Collins laughed at Dean as he got into the house
“I thought the deal was $36M why did you say $70M?? Gosh, that girl is crazy but I love her boldness.. Collins kept blabbering non-stop but Dean just looked at him before walking into his room
He couldn’t believe he got slapped by a lady for the first time in his life because he called her a slut.
“Is she any different from the others?” He thought as he laid on his bed

Kaylan boarded a cab home and walk into their small apartment. She looked at their house again and sigh as she walk to the sitting room.
“Molly I’m back” She said sitting on the only couch in the house
“Kaylan” Molly appeared with swollen eyes.
“What’s wrong Molly?” Kaylan asked and she burst into tears again
“What’s wrong Molly?” She asked again fearfully
“Kaylan” molly hug-ged her. “Why is life so unfair? Dad died few years back and now we have no money for mom’s surgery” she cried
” It’s alright,, everything will work out?” Kaylan a-ssured her.
“Where’s mom” Kaylan asked after they disengage from the hug
” She have been sleeping”
“It’s okay, don’t cry anymore” Kaylan cleaned her tears with her thumb
“Did you get the job?” Molly asked
“I’ll get a better job next time” Kaylan for-ced a smile
“You got rejected again right?” Molly asked sadly
“Not really. I was the one who rejected the offer” Kaylan replied
“They were after your body?” Molly asked she nodded.
“Everything will be okay kaylan” She hug-ged her
“Wait, what’s that? Did you hear that sound?” Kaylan narrowed her brow and Molly nodded
“Mom”Kaylan exclaimed and they both ran to the room at once
They met their mom desperately gasping for breath
“Mom?” Tears left Kaylan’s eyes as she sat next to her sitting next to her.
“Kaylan, Mom is dying.. she’s doing this for the second time now” Molly cried
“Get Nina for me ” Kaylan said and Molly ran out immediately with tears rushing down her cheek
“Mom. Pls, don’t do this to us. We have no family, you are our only family. Pls mom you can’t die” Kaylan cried as she stood there, confused. She didn’t know what to do
“Mom pls stay with me. Pls mom” She cried heavily
“Leave the way” Nina said and she immediately pave way for her
Nina gave her some injections that calmed her down.
“Kaylan, I’m sorry to tell you, but your mom can’t live any longer with this petty treatments. I’m just doing this because you’re my friend. A time will come when this drugs won’t work on her anymore” Nina said
“Nina” Kaylan called and burst into tears. Nina immediately engulfed her in a ti-ght hug trying to comfort her
“Everything will be fine kaylan. I can’t stay any longer since I’m taking the evening shift. I will come first thing tomorrow morning” Nina said cleaning her tears
“Hmm” Kaylan nodded and watch her leave
“Till when are we gonna continue like this?” Molly spoke up . ” I’m sick and tired of being like this” She added and left the room
Kaylan sat close to their sleeping mother,
“What should I do mom? What should I really do? Do you wanna make us orphans? ” She sniffed back her tears and stood up
” If your Mom dies, know her blood is in your hands. You had the opportunity to save her but you let it slide” a part of her said
“Molly?” She called going to meet her in the sitting room
“I came to seek your opinion” Sigh and sat close to her
“It’s about the Job offer,,,,, the man wants me to carry his baby” Kaylan said and Molly turned to her with a puzzled look
“How? he wants to marry him you?” Molly asked
“Not really. According to the contract, Its just gonna be an intrauterine pregnancy. He won’t have s-ex with me” Kaylan explained
“So it’s a 9 months contract?” Molly asked and she nodded
” That’s a ha-rd task,,,, but What’s the deal all about? ” Molly asked
“I’ll carry his baby for nine months and he’ll pay me me $70M though the actually pay was $36M” Kaylan explained and Molly’s eyes dilated in shock
“Bloody hell!!” Molly exclaimed. “Thats huge. With that, we can save mom and also buy a bigger apartment Kaylan” she added with a glint of excitement in her eyes
“I rejected the offer” Kaylan said and Molly’s jaw drop at once
What do you mean, you rejected the offer ?” she asked slowly, almost in a whisper but Kaylan kept mute
“What do you mean Kaylan? Will you seat back and watch mom die?” She yelled
” Don’t yell at me young lady” Kaylan cautioned
“Fine!!!, If you aren’t interested, maybe you should just tell him your sister is ready to do the job” Molly said angrily and walked out of the house
“I guess you wanna watch mom die” She heard Molly say and she heave a sigh
“Oh! God, I’m damn confused” Kaylan said checking the time.
“It’s 6pm. Should I just go back there?” She asked no one in particular
“Will he even accept me with all what I displayed earlier?” She ruffled her hair as she thought de-eperly
” I can’t pay mom’s surgery bills even if I work for 10yrs straight” She sigh before walking outside
She met Molly crying with her head buried between her knees.
“I’ll take the offer” She said and Molly quickly raised her head to look at her
“Really?” She asked and Kaylan nodded
“I’m sorry kaylan for yelling at you” She said and kaylan smiled sadly
“Its fine, I also can’t bear to lose a mother this time” she said
“I pray the contract is still valid,,, see you soon” Kaylan waved before leaving

“I warned you when you said there weren’t decent girls in the world. Gosh.. I hope she accept the offer.. Collins said and Dean glowered at him
He took some ice pack and placed them on his hurting red cheek
“Do you think she will come back?” Collins asked
“It’s her choice. Who cares…” Dean shrugged
“I hope she does.. gosh I so much like her” Collins said and Dean flic-ked his forehead
“What’s that for?” Collins frown and ma-ssage his forehead… “anyway, Are you sure you’re okay?” He asked
“Why? What do you mean” Dean asked
“The slap-s.. it was really loud and I could tell it was painful”
“It wasn’t.. he lied.. “I was actually expecting it..
” You’re lying” Collins laughed
“Seriously dude, It felt like my cheeks were on fire…. I could hear trumpets sounding in my ears” Dean said and Collins burst into an uncontrollable Laughter
“You wanna loose your job” Dean threatened and he quickly sober up though he kept laughing silently
“Let’s go for a walk then” Collins suggested after a while
“I’ll need to take a bath first” Dean said walking upstairs
” Alright… I will wait here”
~~~ few minutes later~~~
“Sorry for keeping you waiting” Dean apologized as he got downstairs.
“It’s fine as long as we’re going on a date” Collins wink
“Date? with who?” Dean crease a brow
” Yeah date, with me” Collins replied touching his (Dean’s ) face
“fu-ck off” Dean yank his hands hands off. “Meet me outside when you are ready” he added and walked out
“How can you treat your baby this way?” Collins yelled after him
“Baby my bu-tt,,, I’ve told you to stop all this shit. I’m not into men”
“I’m not into men either” Collins replied and turned Dean to himself
” Don’t you think we could be soulmates?” Collins asked pulling his cheeks softly
The gate suddenly open and they immediately tuned to its direction.
“I’m very sorry for interrupting your moment” Kaylan said awkwardly
“Hey kaylan.. it’s not what you think” Collins said releasing Dean’s cheek
“Of course she wouldn’t get it twisted when she’s fully aware I’m into women” Dean stick his hands into his pa-nt pocket before walking to her
“I’m sorry about earlier” She pick on her nails while he just stood staring at her
“Just sorry?” He sm-irked and she inhaled de-eperly
“I’m here for the contract. I’ve made up my mind” she said and Dean’s sm-irk grew bigger
Collins walked closer to him. “Since she’s here for the contract, she needs the money and you need the baby. So it’s a good bargain.. he whispered
Dean cleared his throat. ” I’m still very much angry at you…. but, because we both need help, I will just tolerate you” He said
I’m so gonna frustrate you.. Dean sm-irked
“Are we okay now?” Kaylan asked but he ignored her and got into the mansion
“You might catch a cold if you stay out here for too long” Collins smiled. “Come inside.. he added pulling her into the big mansion
“Thank you Sir”
“What’s with the honorifics? Just call me Collins” he winked and she blus-h heavily
” Are you seriously fli-rting with her right now?” Dean rolled his eyes and Kaylan scoff
“Collins is cute but this di-ckhead is even more cute,,,, but his attitude is a turnoff” kaylan muttered lowly
“What did you say?” Collins asked
“Nothing” she smiled
I wouldn’t be doing this if not for mom. Jeez I can’t believe I’m really doing this” She grumbled mentally
She sat down and flash Dean a pretentious smile
“Cut the pretense” Dean said and she rolled her eyes
“Not as if I’m the only one who’s in need of help,,, You should be happy I agreed to this cause no decent girl will ever accept this” Kaylan said
” The files Collins ” he ignored her
Collins brou-ght the files and gave it to her. She went throu-ghthe files and made to sign it when her eyes caught something on the file
“Wait, I will be staying with you? She shouted
“Yeah, my baby can’t be far from me” he replied and she glared at him before finally signing the docu-ments
“That’s all?” Kaylan asked and Dean nodded
He walked up to her and they both shook hands with a sm-irk displaying on their faces
Collins stood still staring at them and he giggled softly.
“It’s gonna be a though game” he smiled

“Here “Collins offered kaylan a gla-ss of vodka. “Let’s celebrate” he added and kaylan let out a ti-ght smile
“I don’t take alcohol” she said and Dean gape at her. Collins wasn’t an exception
“What?” She asked
“It’s just,,,It’s surprising” Collins said and Dean just sat staring at her face
“Do your mom know about this?” Collins asked .
“Not really” She shook her head. ” If she does, she wouldn’t allow me” She added
“Are you an only child?” Collins asked
Dean was starting to get bored with all the question and answer
“I have a younger sister” she replied
“It must be ha-rd on you. I guess it wasn’t easy coming back here for the contract,,, it must have hurt your pride” he said and she nodded slowly
“I can’t watch my mom die” kaylan said and a single tear rolled down her cheek
“Enough of the water works” Dean chipped in, referring to her tears. “You can leave now. I will call you to come over tomorrow when my mom Comes visiting” Dean said
“Your mom?” Kaylan asked, wiping her tears
“Yeah.. his mom threatened to make his company go bankrupt if he doesn’t give her a grandchild” Collins whispered into her ears
“Oh…then we are even, he’s trying to save his company while I’m trying to save my mom” she spoke up
“What’s your full name?” Collins asked sitting close to her
“Kaylan Anderson” She replied while Dean sigh before walking to his room fully
Somehow he was feeling guilty for using her predicament against her. And to think she even accepted the offer only because of her mom was even more bothersome to him
“How is she different from the rest?” Dean wondered as he laid on his bed
“But that doesn’t mean she won’t pay for what she did to me” he muttered lowly
” Gosh, I can’t sleep” he grumbled and left the bed going back to the sitting room
He met both of them ( Collins & Kaylan) talking and laughing.
“Ahem” he cleared his throat trying to get their attention
“I will be on my way then” She said after seeing Dean
“Alright, We will drop you off” Collins said and Dean turn to him with a frown
“We?”
“Yes we” Collins replied walking up to Dean
“It’s fine,,, you don’t need to” Kaylan said as she made her way out
“You heard her, she said it’s fine” Dean replied and sat on the couch
“Don’t be heartless Dean. Don’t forget she’s doing you a huge favor and…
“Fine!! Fine! ” Dean cut him off and starting walking out
“Get in” Dean said when he got to her
“I said it’s fine” Kaylan replied and Dean sigh frustratingly
“Stop being stubborn and just get in” Collins said and opened the door for Kaylan
“It’s getting really dark” he added and kaylan reluctantly entered the car
“Don’t mind his cold attitude, that’s how he behaves most time. But trust me, he is the best guy you will ever want to be with” Collins said and she scoff
” I don’t care about his behavior,,, I’m only doing this for the sake of my family” she muttered inaudibly
“What did you say? ” Collins asked
“Oh! Nothing, was just thinking about my mom” she replied

“We’re here already” she said immediately they got to her house
“Is this your house?” Collins asked looking around.
Dean was just silent throu-ghout
“Yeah, I’m not rich you know” she replied leading the way while Mr grumpy just stayed behind looking at the house
His parking lots was even much bigger than the house. He still wondered why she could decline sleeping with him..
“Aren’t you coming in” Collins asked him
“I’m surprised… I mean, a person who lives here would want to sleep with me for the job” Dean whispered
“You can’t be serious.. I told you we have Decent girls. Even their poor background wouldn’t make them throw themselves at you and She’s a typical example” Collins replied and pulled him into the house
“Kaylan you’re home” Molly walked up to kaylan when two other guys entered too
“Wait.. why do you look familiar?” Molly asked staring at Dean
“Me?” Collins asked and Molly shook her head
“Him” she pointed at Dean
“Me?” Dean pointed at himself
“Yeah…Sir Dean?”Molly gasped
“Are you Sir Dean? The foun-der of D.A toy factory?” She asked and he nodded slightly
” Yeah…
” Omg!!!! She exclaimed and jumped on him, hugging him ti-ght
Dean just stood still, confused
“What’s happening? she knows him?” Kaylan gasp staring at Dean who had a confused expression on
