ZODIAC CLUB**

“Did you hang out with Felix?” Jerry asked whilst mixing a drink for Rosa.

“Yeah. And I regret it.”

“Why? Did he do something?”

She shook her head.

“Not really. It’s just that…”

“You found out he was engaged.” He completed and she gave him a surprised look.

“You knew?”

Jerry shrugged. “He told me.”

She gasped. “Why didn’t you tell me? I should never have slept with him in the first place.”

“Do you care about those things? He is engaged, so?”

“Don’t be stupid, Kerry. You know how much I hate sleeping with those guys who are already in a relationship. I am not a home wrecker or a relationship destroyer.”

“What? You are a stri-pper, Rosa. Not some kind of a saint. And,” He pointed his index at her. “The name is Jerry, not Kerry.”

She rolled her eyes, scoffing.

“I can’t believe you of all people don’t know the difference between a stri-pper and a call girl.”

“What’s the difference?” He raised a brow.

She glared at him. “Seriously? Are you asking me that?”

“Yes. Because to me, they are both the same thing. Men throw their money at you while you dance se-xily against a poll. And a call girl gets fuc-k ed for money. They are technically the same thing.” He said, sliding the glas-sshot of s£x on the beach drink over to her.

“Don’t say that, Kerry. I am quite pissed with your words. What? A stri-pper is the same thing as a call girl? Are you plainly dumb or acting to be one? What even gave you the right to judge us, huh?”

“I didn’t_”

She cut him off. “Being a stri-pper is completely different from being a call girl. And I am not trying to judge those girls who sell their bodies for money. It’s their life and choices. After all, the money pays their bills and that’s what matters. As for me, I dance every night on that poll for money doesn’t mean by the end of the day I let a random man fuc-k my brains out. I have self-respect and dignity. I know my worth. I don’t hate my work, mind you. I chose to live this kind of life and trust me, it is what kept me to this point. So don’t judge me, bartender.” She grabbed the gla-ss, choked down the whole drink, and went away in anger.

Jerry stared after her in shock until she blended with the crowd, disappearing from his sight.

“Did…did I say something bad?”

RHODES’S MANSION★MEXICO**

Rhodes walked in, looking stressed out.

He stepped inside the bedroom while taking off his necktie but stopped when he saw the scene in front of him.

“Honey, what are you doing?” He asked, watching her fold her clothes into a traveler’s bag.

“Oh, you are back. Welcome.” She grinned but did not stop what she was doing.

“Yeah. Thank you.” He dropped his suitcase on the bed. “Why are you folding in a traveler’s bag? Are you going somewhere?”

“Mm-hmm.” She nodded.

“Where? And why didn’t you tell me? I would love to go on a vacation with you.” He said.

“Well, I’m not going on a vacation.”

He frowned. “What do you mean?”

“I called Felix earlier today. I wanted to know if he had spoken to Diamond and if they are both back to being lovers. But guess what, your crazy daughter is still avoiding her fiance. Who does that?”

Rhodes let out a de-ep breath, shaking his head. “Don’t tell me it is where I think you are going, Elodie.”

“If that place has a letter L and V then it is where you are thinking.”

“I thought you vowed never to_”

“call her.” She cut in. “Yes. And did I break that vow? No. As you can see I’m going over to Las Vegas. There’s a difference between going over there and calling her.”

“You can’t be serious. Why are you so hellbent on marrying Diamond off to Felix?”

“How many times do I have to tell you, hmm? My friends are counting on this wedding. I don’t want to disappoint them.”

“When I told you about Diamond’s sickness, you didn’t go over to Las Vegas to visit her. Even when her life was on the line. But here you are preparing to go there simply because she’s avoiding you speak to Felix. Can you even listen to yourself?”

“Don’t start now, Rhodes. I’m not ready to listen to your judgment, okay? I’m a bad mother, fine. Who cares? I only want what’s best for you, me, and our company.”

“What about Diamond?”

Elodie finished packing her clothes and zipped the bag closed. “She chose her path when she left Mexico. That reminds me, you are going to give me her home address.”

“You are not going to tell her of your ‘visitation’?” He asked.

“I vowed never to call her and I’m going to keep that promise till I die.”

“Elodie.”

“What? That’s true. If Diamond wants my forgiveness then she has to beg for it.”

“Honestly, I see no difference in calling her and going over to visit her.”

“That’s where you get it all wrong. I am not going to Las Vegas to visit that daughter of yours. I want to know why she’s avoiding Felix’s calls. The wedding is in a week for Pete’s sake. I am not going to let that child embarras-sme again. Never.” She cleared her throat, picking up her bag. “Are you going to see me off to the airport or what?”

“I can’t change your mind, can I?”

“No.” She blurted out.

“Alright…but isn’t it too late to go to Las Vegas?”

“Night trips are the best.” She replied in a calm tone. “Besides, I am certain I will get there by morning.”

DIEGO’S HOUSE**

“What’s going on?” Diego asked as he approached the maid who was standing in front of the master’s bedroom door aka his and his wife’s bedroom.

She jumped in fright and turned to look at him, having a worried look on her face.

Diego creased his brows. “Is something wrong? What’s happening?”

“It’s your wife, sir.” She said, fearfully.

“What happened to her? Will you start talking and stop keeping me on tension?” He snapped.

“Since she returned home she hasn’t stepped out of the room and I heard her falling and breaking things, afterwards she started crying profusely. She is still crying as we speak.”

Diego leaned his ear towards the door and heard faint whimpers from inside.

“For how long?”

“Six hours ago, sir.”

“Six hours?” His eyes wide-ned. “Has she eaten anything at all?”

“No, sir.”

Diego knocked on the door. “Dear, can you open the door?” There was no answer. “Honey please open the door.” He pleaded.

“She won’t answer.” The maid whispered.

Diego went throu-ghhis briefcase and took out a bunch of keys. He went throu-ghthem and finally found the key to the master’s bedroom. He inse-rted it and twisted it open.

“Babe?” He stepped inside, taking in the condition of the room.

The maid was right, there was broken glas-sshattered on the floor. The bed was turned upside down. The dressing table was lying on the floor. The room was a complete mess.

“What happened in here?” Diego gasped, looking around.

“Sir!” The maid screamed grabbing her boss’s attention.

Diego turned to face the maid and saw her pointing towards the bathroom, the door was a bit open. He peeked throu-ghit and found Layla seated on the floor with her head hanging low as she sobbed.

“LAYLA.” He rushed inside and held her up. “What’s wrong? What happened? Why are you crying?”

She squee-zed her eyes closed, crying nonstop. Her face has turned red and she was even running at a high temperature.

“Please talk to me, what happened?” He had a sad and worried look on his face. She didn’t answer. “Come here,” Diego pulled her into his arms, holding her close to himself.

“Sir, do you need me to do anything?” The maid asked from behind.

“Call the family doctor over immediately.”

“But it’s already late….”

“I don’t care! Just do as I say.” He yelled.

“Okay, sir.” she scrammed out of the room.

Diego picked Layla up in bridal style and took her out of the room. He approached one of the guest rooms and lay her on the bed.

Thirty minutes later, Layla stopped crying but she hasn’t said a word to anybody including her husband.

Diego paced back and forth in the room, glancing in her direction now and then.

The door opened and the maid walked in alongside their family doctor, Mr. Callum.

“Mr. Diego.” The doctor said, shaking hands with the troubled-looking man.

“You are here. Thanks for coming over at such short notice.”

“Anything for you, man. What happened to her?” The doc asked, looking at Layla on the bed.

Diego shrugged. “I don’t know. I returned home to meet this.” He gestured at her.

“Was she like this when you left home this morning?” Callum asked, standing beside the bed.

“No. She was perfectly okay. She was even super excited to go and meet her best friend. I don’t know what happened, man. Seriously.” He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Callum placed his palm over Layla’s forehead. “She seems to be running a fever. Aside from that, she’s fine.”

“So what are you going to do?”

“Sedate her so she can fall asleep. By tomorrow morning, she will be as bright as the sun. Unless something else is troubling her.”

“Hmm.”

“You don’t have to worry, Mr. Diego. Your wife will be fine. I a-ssure you.” He smiled.

“Thank you, Dr. Callum. You don’t know how much this means to me.”

“Are you crazy? Of course, I do. I know how much you love and care about Mrs. Layla. That’s literally why I had to rush down here regardless of how late it is.”

“You can sleep over if you want.” Diego offered.

“And have my beautiful wife worrying? Nah. But thanks for the offer.” He injected a sedative drug into Layla’s system. Gradually, her eyes fluttered close and she fell asleep. “She will be fine.” He rea-ssured.

“I hope so. Thank you, man.” They both did the bro hug. “I really appreciate it.”

“You’re welcome. I should get going on.”

“Yeah. Let me see you off.”

The maid whose presence have been forgotten stood in front of the door, watching them.

Diego stared at her and sighed. “Clear the mess in the master’s bedroom, okay? Your madam and I will be spending the night in here.”

“Okay, sir.”

“You know what, clean the mess by tomorrow morning. I can see how stressed you are and clearly need rest. You can retire for the day.”

“Thank you.” She said excitedly.

“Hmm.” He waved her off and left the room with Callum.

Ca-ssANO’S MANSION

KITCHEN**

Diamond had sweat all over her body as she descended the stairs and went inside the kitchen.

She grabbed a jug of water and poured herself some into a glas-scup.

She felt relieved after spending quality time with herself but she still doesn’t feel so good.

Her fingers didn’t do a good job of satisfying her. They were like Felix’s dic-k and of course, everyone knows how awful that guy is in bed.

Diamond leaned against the counter and took a large gulp of water, letting out a de-ep breath.

How does she gain her boss’s attention? Yes, she wants to sed-uce him until he succu-mbs to her needs but how can she do that when she barely even sees him?

“fuc-k .” She muttered, taking another sip of water with a frown on her face. “Should I just go out there and fuc-k a random man?”

The kitchen door opened, grabbing her attention. Diamond sharply turned around to find her boss standing there with a de-ep scowl on his face.

Did something happen? She wondered.

Her eyes roamed over his body, devouring him shamelessly. He was looking so hot and se-xy as always.

It’s funny how minutes ago she was m*sturbating with the imagination of this man fuc-k ing her aggressively. It’s funny how the images were still lingering in her head at the moment.

Diamond gulped her saliva and bites her lower li-p as her breathing becomes shallow. Wait, was she h*rny again?

What is this Greek god doing to her? Ever since she met him, her senses flew off into space and it doesn’t plan on returning until she succeed in having him on top of her.

Never have she lusted over a man like this. Never had she wanted him a man so badly to the point of always visualizing him fuc-k ing her?

She is a s-ex addict and her friends know that about her. It’s quite a surprise that she hasn’t had s-ex for over a month and hasn’t gone insane from it.

Mikhail walked past her and goes to the refrigerator, he opened it and took out a bottle of water.

“Boss,” Diamond called in a mutter, bowing a little to him.

He ignored her and quietly drank the whole content in the bottle, by the time he finished drinking the water, and emptying the bottle, he crumbled it and threw it into the trash can.

He headed towards the door but stopped and partly turned to look at her.

He had his fist balled. “Always close your fuc-k ing door, there’s a reason why every room is soundproof.” He strolled out of the kitchen afterward.

Diamond’s mouth dropped open, and the glas-scup she was holding almost sli-pped off her fingers.

“Oh, God. He saw me.”

MIKHAIL’S BEDROOM**

“Ahhhhh…Oh yes…fuc-k …uhhhh…” Her mo-ans filled his head, tormenting the sh*t out of him.

Mikhail shut his eyes closed and raised his head, facing the running water directly.

“Oh, fuc-k …yes, boss. Right there…Ahhhh.”

What was she doing to him? Why was she fuc-k ing doing this?

He gro-aned changing the heat of the water to scorching hot water. He didn’t flinch or move away when the hot water hit his skin.

The image of his daughter’s nanny fingering herself was right at the back of his head, refusing to go away no matter how ha-rd he tries to shake it off.

Her twisted face when she reached org*sm, her mo-ans of plea-sure as she fingered herself har-der and fast-er…those memories were doing unimaginable things to him.

Why couldn’t he get her out of his head?

He looked down at himself and saw how arouse he was. Five fuc-k ing good years and he has never felt this way until now.

Since the death of his dear wife, a part of him was buried into the ground along with her body and that includes his s-ex life.

Mikhail bites his lower li-p, gro-aning again, and lowered his head, facing the floor.

“I fuc-k ing have to get that girl out of my house.” He breathed out, balling his fist.

She was affecting him and that scares the hell out of him.

NEXT MORNING

BFF’S APARTMENT**

“Go and check who is at the door.” Ayden said.

Zara scowled at him. “You go and check.”

“I’m…”

“You are not doing anything so don’t even think about lying.” She cut him off, heading towards the door. “I don’t know what always scares you to answer the door.”

“I’m not scared of answering the door. I am only busy.”

“Busy doing what?” She glared at him. “Lying on the fuc-k ing couch?”

”You should get the door, babes. The guest has waited for too long. Who knows it might turn out to be Sean.” He winked.

“I regret telling you about what happened in Sean’s office.”

“Oh, please. Diamond is not here to listen to you aside from me, you should be happy to have me, darling.”

She popped up her two middle fingers at him before unlocking the door and opening it.

“It took you years to get the door. What, are you pregnant or something?” The ‘supposed’ guest said, frowning at the young girl in from of her.

“You…You look familiar.” Zara murmured.

“Where is Diamond?” Elodie asked harshly.

“Diamond…” Zara’s eyes wide-ned immediately. “Oh, fuc-k .”

“Who is it?” Ayden asked from inside.

“Diamond’s mother.” Zara replied not taking her eyes off the woman.

Ayden rushed to the door to see for himself. His eyes went wide as well. “Holy sh*t!”
