The beeping sound of a machine woke me up to realize that I’m actually in an hospital receiving treatments. My memory flashed back to everything that has happened, the shootings. I recalled everything.
But, Jerrah, is he okay?
He took bullets for me.
I tried freeing myself from the wires they tied to my b©dy.
“Don’t even think about it. ” It’s Florence leaning by the door.
“How long have you been standing there?” I ask her.
“I don’t know. I just want to see you open your eyes. ” She said coming closer.
“Florence, don’t. ” I knew she’ll start crying and I was right. She is crying.
“You were sh0t twice Mirrah. I didn’t know what I’ll do if something bad happened to you. I was scared. ” She said in tears.
“I am fine now Florence you don’t have to worry. ” I said and she bent down to hvg me.
“You’re awake. ” I felt ease when I heard her voice but was stunned at noticing her flat Tommy. Did something happen to her baby?
“Jerrah.”
Jeremy is sitting on a wheelchair and a nurse is behind him. She actually wheeled him here. I smile in seeing him. I am glad everyone is okay.
Florence walk closer to them.
“I’ll take it from here. ” Florence said and wheeled him to me. Mom and the nurse left shortly.
“Thank you for staying alive.” He said and k!ssmy both hands.
“We will never be ap@rt again. ” I said and we hvg each other.
“I will leave you two alone. ” Florence said and I dis£ngage from the hvg.
“What about the baby? ” I ask Florence.
“He’s a boy. ” She said before walking out.

After the baby JR was baptized, we took him home and Mark organised a p@rty to my greatest surprise.
The p@rty is still going on but baby JR had to sleep so I took him to his room and place him on his be-d then start humming a song for him so he can sleep.
“Our little prince is so handsome. ” Mark said and round his hand on my n£¢k. I turn facing him.
“I just want you to know that I didn’t give JR my name because you asked me to, I gave JR my name because he’s also my son. ”
I smile in tears.
“I am promising you today Hannah, that I will never st©p loving you and that includes JR. As from today, JR, is my blood, my son. ” He said and k!ssmy forehead.
“Go and sleep, I’ll be the one to sing for my son. ”
I feel like exploding in excitement whenever he mentions MY SON.
“You can’t sing. ” I reminded him.
“But am good at lullaby. ” He wi-nks at me.

“Thanks for coming. ” I said to the guest that were leaving and Lori ran to me.
“You won’t believe what just happened! ” She said leading me to a seat.
“What? ” I ask her and before she could say anything, Florence c@m£ running to me.
“Oh my God Mirrah! Oh my God! ” She also pu-ll out a seat and sits down.
“What’s ma-king you all happy? ” I ask them both.
“You should go first, Lori. ” Florence said. Lori also insisted that Florence should go first.
“The both of you can just talk the same time. ” I said and they smile.
“Tristan ask me to be his girlfriend. ” Florence said.
“I and Felix are now couples. ” Lori also said. I heard them clearly even though they said it the same time. I never saw Florence and Tristan coming. Wow. That’s a good news. And Lori, Lori… Wait.
“Who’s Felix? ” I ask her.
“A new guy in Hilton. He’s very handsome Mirrah. ” She said giggling.
“Congratulations to the two of you. If you’ll excuse me I nee-d to talk to my b©yfri£nd. ” I said and left them. Their excitement, I can’t contend with.

The path around my love story with Jeremy is really rou-gh especially when my dad interfere and I thought I couldn’t do it any longer..
I thought I cannot fight for us and I gave up but he never st©pped. Jeremy pursue me to the very end ma-king sure to get me back no matter the cost.
I guess that’s how it is when you’re so much in love with someone.
“Are you cold? ” He ask me and I nodded my head, he re-moved his coat and made me wear it.
“Are you sure about this? ” I ask him.
“Of course. I feel it when you’re cold and now that you’re warm, I’m okay. “He said and I smile.
We are both taking a walk round the city and he has been acting all sweet.
” Jerrah, I want to ask you this. “He said and I st©pped on my track facing him. He raise his wrist up showing me the br@celet. I can’t believe he has it all this while.
I am very sure he hasn’t taken them off for even a moment.
” What does the letter J mean? I tried figuring it out but I couldn’t. Does it mean Jeremy, Jer or j£rk? “He ask me and I smile.
” It means Jerrah. ”
“Are you serious or you’re just saying it cause it’s our name? ” He ask and I scratch my head.
“Actually, that name was on my mind when made the br@celet. I thought, if you’ll agree to be my friend we’ll just blend our names together but I never thought you’ll be my forever. ” I said and he k!$$£d me on thel-ip.
“Thank you. ” He said ma-king me smile.
He went on one kneee.
“Mirrah Blues, will you marry your j£rk? ” I laughed.
“Can’t believe you’re proposing without a ring. Who does that. ” He said and we both chuckled.
“If you nee-d a ring, we can just go to the mall and get one. ”
“Ah, no. You’re not going to steal a ring on my behalf. ” I said bringing back our first meeting memory and he chased me instead.

Mark told me to leave JR with him because he wants to spend more time with his son. He’s obsessed with JR and if care is not taken, JR will never recognize me as his mother and if that happens, I will blame it all on Mark.
A child is suppose to love his both parents but Mark, is cheating.
I walk into the house to see JR sitting in the middle of toys.
“Honey, you’re back” Mark k!$$£d myl-ips and he made me sit on the couch.
“Your wont believe JR said his first words. He said DADA. ” I roll my eyes, carried my son and made him sit on my l@p.
“JR, say MAMA. ” I said smiling at him.
“Dada.” He said looking at his father who hurriedly carry him away from me before I sp@ñk him.
“I won’t be jealous because I have two girls in the house alre-ady. We’ll see who he will run to when he’s hungry. ” I hissed happily and walk to my room. I never thought we can be this happy and peaceful.

All along I thought I was in love but the truth is, I was just jealous of Mirrah because I thought no one has ever noticed me, I was so blind that I didn’t see Tristan calling me.
My family are at peace, Mirrah and J are engaged and as for me, I’m happy with my b©yfri£ndbecause he loves me unconditionally.
