I feel unbalanced on my shoulder joint and I tried resting it but I’m still not feeling ease so I just open my eyes and behold, I’m in another house.
How did I get here?
Or rather, how did we get here?
FLASHBACK
It was a beautiful moment with Jeremy and when I wanted going home, he insisted on ri-ding me home because he’s afraid that I’ll disappear on him again. I laughed and just allowed him to drive. The drive to Annie’s house was interesting cause we wouldn’t st©p telling jokes to each other and been in same car with him is like a death wish cause he kept stealing k!sses from me. Finally we got home. I got down from the car and wave him goodbye.
Just as I was about going into the gate, someone gr-ab me by the hair and pu-ll me to the ground.
“You bit-ch! ” I said getting off the ground. She got the nerve following me here.
“You should have just stayed away from us. From our lives! ” She yelled.
“What are you even talking about?! I was never in your life Florence, you’re in mine and right now you’re intruding my life. Go away! ” I use my two hands to push her and she also falls to the ground but she got up quic-kly and we start pu-lling each other’s hair.
Some men gr-ab us and covered our nose.
END OF FLASHBACK
“How did I get here?! What have you done to me you witch?! ”
She has woken up too.
“Yea. I was actually expecting that. ” I said and I notice that my hands are tied too. Who has kidnapped us?!
“Someb©dy plea-se help me! Someone should take me out of here! “She said screaming.
” Keep your voice down bit-ch! He said as he walks in the room we’re in.
“How dare you kidnap me?! You’re going to rot in hell devil! ” She fired at him.
I was stunned cause I wasn’t expecting that I will be kidnapped by uncle Francisco. We didn’t do anything to him.
“Oh! Sweet little Mirrah! Are you surprise? “He said coming to me. I could not even utter a word. He ca-ress my chin and then climb down the be-d.
” Don’t worry. You’ll go home soon if your parents do as I ask. “He said and began to laugh. He’s scaring me right now.
” I hate you! Florence yell after him.
“I never liked you especially. ” He said and left the room.

I can’t think straight anymore. I’ve searched everywhere possible for the two girls but they’re no where to be found. I tried reaching them too but their phones has been turned off and that was why I went to the police who told me to wait for 24hours before they can declare them missing.
“Im loosing my mind here, Liz. ” I said and stand up from the couch I’m sitting on.
“You can’t stress yourself Hannah. You’re carrying a life inside of you. I hope you know that. ” Liz queried.
“And two lives has gone missing. I am fully aware of that. ” I said walking around.
“I called Mark, so, he should be here any minute from now. ” I hear her say and I face her standing hands akimbo and giving her a stare.
“Don’t give me that look, the guy is sorry. He made a mistake and he’s re-ady to amend. ” She said and I sigh.
“He’s not even my problem right now. ” I said and shortly after he walks in but his pres£nce didn’t change a thing.
“I have to go back to the police maybe they’ll change their mind. “I said walking towards the door.
” They are alre-ady on the lookout for them. “He said and I st©p on my track.
” Shouldn’t you be with them? They’re also your daughters. “I said to him. He was about saying something but I walk out in him.

I press the horn continuously and when the gate open, I drove r0ûghly almost hitting the guy that opened the gate.
I park the car anyhow, open the door and dash out not minding to close back the door.

We all rush out when we heard the horn only to see J, r0ûghly drives in like someone who’s been chased.
It’s been two days and there hasn’t been any news concerning their whereabouts. A man had called requesting for Mr. Hannah or they will never see the girls again but Mr. Mark wouldn’t allow that. He said the police will find them and that’s where our faith lies now.
I feel pity for J, he has been searching for them too and he look really stressed out. When he began talking with Philli-p, tears were streaming down his face and at that moment, I feel like hvgging him but I don’t want him to have wrong impression about me so, I walk back to the living room and climb up the stairs in tears.

“I cannot sit here and do nothing when my daughters lives are in danger! Francisco wants me so, I’m going to him. ”
“That’s suicide Hannah. Let the police do their job. ” Liz said and I faced her in tears.
“The police? Liz, it’s been two days. Two days and my daughters are still in that bastard’s custody. The police are just roaming about. ” I cried and Liz embr@ced me.

All what Florence, has been doing is talk and blame me for her misfortunes.
It’s not my fault she chose to pick a fight with me that night.
But, today is different, she’s just leaning by the wall starring at nothing in p@rticular.
“I can’t take this anymore. ” She said weakly. Alre-ady giving up. For these two days, we’ve refused to eat anything coming from that man. He said he’s not going to let Mom deprive him of the right to be with his child.
“Can you untie me? ” I stretch my tied hands to her. She glare at me for a while before moving her mouth to the rope and gradually she untied me. I did same to her quic-kly and we pick up the spoons that’s on the plate of food he had brou-ght and use it to loos£n the nuts on the burglary (I’ll say we’re lucky) one after the other in a rush and when we’re done, we carry the burglary and place it on the be-d gently so it won’t call for any alarm.
“What are you doing? ” She ask me.
“I’m planning an escape for us. You can thank me later. ” I said and sit on the be-d.
“We nee-d a very long rope that can get us down. ” Cause from the window down is very far.
“Let’s tie the curtains. ” Florence said. We tied the curtains together with the be-dsheets to get a long rope and we tie it to the be-d.
“I think this is long enough. ” I said and then c@m£ a foot steps.
“Go on Florence. ” I stretch the curtain rope to her.
“No. We’re leaving here together. “She said as her eyes start tearing up.
“One of us have to go. We can’t let him win Florence, plea-se. ” I said but she refused holding my hands.
“Just listen to me for once plea-se! ” I said and she took the curtain rope and climb down. I peep throu-gh the window and she wave at me in tears.
“What have you done?! ” He push me to the be-d and look down the window and I strongly hope she will escape from him.
He gr-ab me by the arm and lock me in the toilet chaining me to the shower.
“If I don’t find your sister by the time I return, consider yourself dead. ” With that he walk out.
“Dont let him catch you Florence. ” I prayed within me.

I didn’t st©p running cause I know that he’s definitely after me. I ran to the roadside and st©p a cab. It’s night in the night.
“What is a young lady doing out side this late? ” The cab man ask me.
“plea-se, sir, you have to take me to Alki Avenue. ” I said watching my back cause he might appear and gr-ab me.
“That’s in Seattle and it’s a very long ride. I can’t take you there. ” He said.
“Sir, have pity on me. I just escaped from a kidnapper and he has my sister. He’s going to kill her and I’m the only person that knows where he is. I am begging you sir. ” I said crying and still looking behind me. I am really scared right now.
“It’s going to cost you. ” He said and I quic-kly open the back seat and hop in.
“Just drive sir. ” I said and he drove off. Hold on little longer Mirrah, I’ll come back for you.

“We just nee-d to find his location and once that happens, we can move to the next plan. ” The detective said and as I was about dialing Francisco’s number again, I heard a continuous knocking on the gate. I jumped up and walk outside followed by the police…
The gate open as Florence rushes in and straight into my arms.
“What happened? Where is Mirrah? ” I ask her.
“She’s still with that monster. ” She said crying.
“Very good. We can use the information you have to track him down. ” The detective said.
“You’re joking right? Because she’s not getting involved. You’ll locate that bastard without getting her to say anything. ” I said.
“Let me do this. Mirrah is in a grave danger and I promise her that I’ll come back. She saved me and I have to save her too. ” She said in tears and I embr@ce her.
“plea-se, let me save her mom. ” The tears I’ve been trying to fight roll down my cheek freely. I never thought the day will come when Florence will call me MOM.
“Don’t worry, we’ll go back for your sister. ”

The detective suggest that they should use me as bait but of course Mark didn’t buy that idea. He said he’s not taking any chances and that they should think of another way.
Now. They’re saying, they’ll surround the place Francisco is keeping Mirrah and when he comes out, they’ll arrest him and every thing will go back to normal. I wish it’s that simple.
We drove inside the police van to the place Florence directed us to which after we got down.
“Are you sure this is the place? ” I ask Florence.
“Yes mom. Mirrah is inside. ” She replied and as we want to pas-s throu-gh, they prevented us and we decide to stay put and watch them do their thing. Just then we heard a gun sh0t and we squee-ze our way in.
“How dare you bring the police here! ” He pointed the gun towards Florence. He’s holding Mirrah on her hair. Oh my poor child.
“Don’t hurt her I’m begging you. ” I saw Jeremy pleading with him..
“Let my daughter go and you can do whatever you want to do with me. She’s not p@rt of this Francisco. ” I said in tears.

He refuse to heed to all what Mom has been saying.
“Everything begins with me Francisco. This wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t come into the picture. Just let them go and deal with me instead. ” Dad cried and he start to laugh. I hate that laughter.
“You are very correct. This is all your fault… ”
I and Jerrah’s eyes met and he look downwards. I un-derstood the meaning of that so I used my leg to hit in between of his legs and he re-leased my hair.
I ran towards Jerrah and embr@ce him but he pu-ll the trigger and the bullet hit mom who falls to the ground.
As I was running to her, I felt an agonizing pain down my ribs ma-king me to face him and he sh0t at me again, this time on my stomach.
“Jerrah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ” He ran to hold me preventing me from falling.

I ran to her when I saw the man shooting at her again and the bullet hit me instead which cause us both to fall down on the floor. I see him coming closer so I climb unt©p of Jerrah then he shoot at me twice.

During these shooting, the place has turned ablaze. Jeremy has been sh0t thrice, Mirrah, twice, Hannah once and is unconscious and as he points the gun towards Mark and Florence, the police waste bullets on him and he falls down and died.
Mirrah and Jeremy are bleeding from everywhere including their mouths.
“I love you. “Mirrah said stretch her hand to him as he’s lying flat on the ground.
” I love you too. “Jeremy said and took her hands before they both sh0t their eyes.
