★REBUILDING THE FATE★
Immediately Starr got transported, Lotus fell on the ground and broke into uncontrollable tears, letting it all out.
“What are girls like me called?, bi-tch right?, I’m a bi-tch , look how he was crying, I broke him completely and I even broke myself more, I hate myself”
Martin bent beside her and tried to wipe her tears but she shifted back.
“I wanna cry as much as I want, he’ll be unconscious right now so he won’t feel the pains, let me cry” she replied and he withdrew his hand.
Lotus continued her spree of tears and both Martin and Jungkook just watched her pitifully.

KING’S MANSION
Bluey was thrown into his room immediately the guards got home with him.
His door was locked by the chairman himself, his window had been locked automatically too.
“Stay in there till you repent and accept that I’m your father!, you’re getting engaged to Enolla and that’s final!” he said by his door
Bluey started hitting the door violently.
“I just nee-d to check if she’s ok!!, I nee-d to check if she’s fine!!!, Let me out!!!!, Let me out!!!”
Chairman got to the living room and met Lorraine on her knees, looking pathetic.
“If you’re doing that to gain pity then forget it and quit right now, I’ve always stood on my words and there’ll be no exception” he said, sitting in front of her.
“He’s too young to be treated this way, he’s still so young please, just let him go, let him out of that room and I promise to talk to him about the engagement” she begged.
“You should have done that before he ran away from home, now no more chance, not even the slightest one” he replied, covering his face with the newspaper he’s reading.
Lorraine started crying loudly but her tears didn’t bother him , he kept his face in the newspaper.

THE MCDONALD’S MANSION
Davis contacted the cops already since Starr isn’t back yet.
It’s past 10 already and his suspicions is that Starr got kidnapped again like the other time.
He didn’t even meet Judy at home when he came back from work and Judy’s line is off too, confusing him more.
He kept calling the cops, asking them about the progress but it’s the same everytime.
Both mother and son are nowhere to be found.
Davis almost cried when the time clocked 10pm and neither Starr nor Judy has been sp-otted.
He drove himself to the cops station and sat there fearfully and worriedly, waiting for any feedback.
His phone rang and he didn’t bother to check the caller.
He picked, thinking it’s the police.
“How’s the search going?, Any good news?” He asked.
A shrill laughter followed his question and he immediately recognized the voice as Judy’s.
“Judy?, Where have you been?, Do you know how much I’ve searched for you?, the cops are on the lookout already, Are you with Starr?, where are you?” He asked quickly.
“Are you still dumb till now?” Judy replied.
“What….did you just say?”
“Oh you should really be dumb because I played my cards well, Davis McDonald” Judy laughed.
“Judy, stop putting me in the dark” he said, not un-derstanding a thing.
“The company’s account and your personal account has been hacked, thanks to the tips I gave to the hackers, I stole every Fu-cking cash in there, no remnants” she replied.
Davis fell back on the chair in shock.
“Remember our marriage was a contract marriage, you’re the one who’s in love with me, I never loved you Davis, you should feel thankful that I gave you Starr, but maybe you’ll feel sad if I tell you that I ab-orted your baby last week, sad right?, I know” she said.
Davis started shaking badly.
“You have your house and your cars, sell them and start living in a cheaper house, then start running a coffee shop, you’re handsome so you’ll attra-ct many female customers” she continued.
“Judy…” Davis said, his eyes getting red.
“Oh sorry!, You haven’t gotten the intruder alert on your account?, Well…I hired good hackers and you registered my fingerprints too remember?, It was just easy but you’ll soon get the alert, don’t bother to look for me, you’ll never find me, I’m with my dear” she said.
“Why…why did you do this to me” Davis cried , he could feel his heart breaking.
“I’m not done, I tried together with my dear to eliminate Starr but it failed, I have nothing to do with him anyways cos I hate him so much, you’re lucky, he’ll be able to console you…bye idiot” she said and hung up.
A message followed and when Davis checked, it’s a red balance alert on the company account and his personal account.
The phone sli-pped off his hands and he fell from the chair, landing heavily on the ground.
“Mr McDonald!, Mr McDonald!” The cops rushed to him.

AN HIDEOUT
“Will he p@$$out?” Mr Luther asked after Judy cut the call with Davis.
“Of course, it’d look abnormal if he doesn’t faint, it’s been nineteen Fu-cking years and he’s not aware of my moves, I gave him all the dose tonight so I’m expecting him to slide into coma” she smiled, sleeping on him on the bed.
“Feels good to have you all to myself” he laughed.
“You made a mistake, you have me to yourself and you also have the money” she replied.
“That’s true” he laughed again.
“We’re getting out of this country tommorow anyways, by 10 we’ll be out” he kizzed her.
“I can’t wait” she replied, covering them as he started stri-pping her.

Martin got back home late but he couldn’t find Mrs Luther.
It’s so unusual of her to keep late nights so he dialled her line.
“Martin” she said immediately she picked.
“Where are you?”
“An hospital”
“Why?, Are you ok?” He quickly asked.
“A girl got into an accident down the street and I followed the ambulance to the hospital since I’m very worried” she replied.
“Which hospital?”
She told him the name and he hung up immediately.
He teleported there and made his way to the ward without waiting.
“You’re already here before you made the call?” Mrs Luther asked surprisingly, standing up.
“Maybe” he replied, looking at the girl on the bed, her whole head is bandaged , leaving out only her face.
“She un-derwent surgery, the accident was so rou-ghbut they said she’ll survive since she’s responding fast to treatment” she said, looking at her too.
The feather in Martin’s ne-cklace shone red and his eyes wide-ned.
“Is something wrong?” Mrs Luther asked quickly.
“Where’s the baby you gave birth to, together with me?” He asked fast.
“How did you know I gave birth to two….
“Answer me first!” He snapped.
“She was stolen away from me in the hospital after I gave birth to the two of you, the hospital was raided by thu-gs so….she was taken away, i don’t know if she’s alive or not” she replied gently but in tears.
Martin looked at the girl on the bed again.
He looked at the feather pendant, it kept shinning.
“Fate….can it really be changed even by the deities?, I guess this is how it was fated to be” he said, leaving her in confusion.
“I don’t un-derstand” she said and he pointed at his ne-cklace.
“It’s shinning because she’s the one, we came alive together so I’m connected too, she’s your daughter” he said and Mrs Luther gasped.
“Hold unto her very well, don’t hope on me…. please” Martin said and left the ward.
He left the hospital and when he got out, he bent down quietly.
Lotus was still crying so much when he left her house and with the way things are going, proceeding will be difficult.
Remembering how Starr was crying earlier made him feel bad too.
It’s only now he realized how selfish he has become.

NEXT MORNING
Starr woke up in a strange house and he spranged up when he found himself on a bed.
It’s surely not Lotus’s mansion so he rushed out of the room, only to bump into Rhythm.
“Rhythm?” He said shockingly.
“I suddenly found you in front of this house yesterday, thankfully my parents aren’t around so I was able to take care of you throu-ghout the night, you were even crying in your sleep, why?, How did you get here?” She asked curiously.
“I nee-d to go right now” he replied and started leaving.
“You don’t know your way around this area, I’ll follow you” she suddenly said.
“No I can manage” he replied.
“Starr, you don’t hate me…. right?” She asked.
“Why?”
“You kept calling Lotus’s name when you were crying in your sleep last night, telling her not to leave you, you must love her so much” she replied.
“Yes I do” he said and she smiled sadly.
“I’ve been hating her when I noticed you have a soft sp-ot for her, but my hatred disappeared overnight, I’ve realized I can’t even fit into your heart” she said.
“Why?” He asked again.
“For you to call Lotus’s name throu-ghout your sleep, it’s a crazy connection I know, I realized how evil I’ve become but I’m glad I realized early, I’ll just rectify my mistakes and make up with my friends” she said.
Starr kept standing, looking at her for over three years before leaving the house without saying anything.
Rhythm’s tears fell largely as she bent beside the rails.

Starr went back to Lotus’s mansion but he couldn’t see it anymore, he was expecting this anyways since he broke their bond.
He’s only seeing an empty piece of land.
He cried bitterly as he watched, remembering how she broke him last night just because of Martin.
His temperature is so hot right now, he knows he’s not ok at all as he continued crying.
He sighted a sharp stone on the ground and picked it, he was determined to kill himself with it when his phone rang in his pocket.
He got it and saw his dad’s number.
He picked wearily.
“Am I on to Starr McDonald?” A different voice asked.
“Sure” he replied.
“Mr McDonald was admitted since last night and we nee-d you right now at Hankuk University hospital”
“What!, Dad?”

UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Starr arrived and couldn’t even control his tears when he saw how pitiful his dad looked on the bed.
“What’s happening to my dad?, What’s happening?” He cried to the doctor.
“He got heart seizure as a result of shock and we almost lost him” the doctor replied and Starr cried more.
He can’t even pinpoint why all these is happening to him, he can’t say why tears became his hobby since yesterday.
“Where’s mum?, She’s here right?” He asked suddenly.
“Well… Mrs McDonald hasn’t been seen here” the doctor replied.
“What!” Starr replied.
“Starr” Davis’s voice made him rush to him.
“Dad!”
“Judy…. Judy is….” Davis said weakly, his ne-ck veins revealing.
“Mum is what?” Starr asked curiously, inching closer to him.
Davis whispered the secret into his ear silently.
“No….no” Starr said, standing straight.
“It’s impossible, not mum” he said, crying more than before.
“Check my phone, the call record” Davis said and Starr got the phone.
He cl-icked on the record and listened carefully but he hasn’t finished listening when he fell unconscious on the ground.
“Starr!” Davis stood from the bed but he started coughing immediately, holding his che-st.
More doctors poured in and they had to rush father and son to the emergency unit.
Martin couldn’t watch anymore so he left the hospital.
He has been watching since Starr came in.
“Damn this fate of a thing!, Damn the deities!, Damn everyone!, Damn me!” He shouted as he took off the ne-cklace on his ne-ck.
He teleported to Lotus’s mansion and appeared by her door.
He could hear her crying sounds inside and when he went in, her tears filled up the room like water already.
She’s in her mermaid form, drowning in her tears.
“I knew it’ll come to this, you can’t do it, you cruel fate was made for you, it’s your destiny which you have to emBr@ce to be happy, breaking the bond with Starr will cost you your happiness and even if you live, you’ll surely cry throu-ghout your existence” he said.
Lotus kept crying.
“I can’t do this anymore, I can’t, seriously, I don’t care if I’m the second choice, you don’t belong to me” he said.
Lotus looked at him.
He walked to her and placed the ne-cklace on her palm.
“I’ve absorbed my powers from it, it belongs to Starr, go back to him, he’s in serious pains right now, go back” he said.
Lotus started hiccu-ping.
“I’ll remain the prince of seven fires who fell in love with a mermaid he can’t be with” he smiled sadly.
“Martin….” Lotus whispered.
“Starr is waiting, go to him ok?” He said.
Lotus smiled dryly.
“Whatever it takes, I’ll make sure I save you both from the cruel fate, even if it takes my life, I don’t want to lose Starr either” he said.
“The broken bond will be reset once he wears this ne-cklace, complete the bond sealing and await what’ll happen, you belong to him in the first place, you both are soulmates from the start, you’re meant to be together, I’m a nobody but I’ll protect you both, I’ll make sure Starr lives” he said.
He leaned in and kizzed her forehead gently before standing.
He left the room but immediately he got out, he broke into tears.
