Josh’s pov
“are you going to the hospital today?” Joshua asked as he walked into my room.
“of course. I have to be with her until she finally wakes up.” I answered as i wore my black leather jacket.
“i thought the doctor said she was out of danger and that she was going to wake up anytime soon.”
I sighed. “i am likewise confuse. But anyway, we just need to remain calm and hope that she would wake up.” I turned to him. “are you coming with me to the hospital?”
“yeah. I can’t stay alone in this house. Everyone has something doing today.”
“Alright. Let’s go then.”
It’s up to two weeks now and Ashley hasn’t woken up. Sometimes I’m scared, like i mean, what if she doesn’t wake up again? God, i fu-cking miss my princess. I miss her smile, laugh, frown, her voice, her miss her teasing, her glare, i even miss the nickname she gave to me; Mr grumpy or Mr celebrity. I fu-cking miss her.

We finally got into the hospital. We were heading to the IUC, when we mistakenly bump into something. Or someone.
“sorry.” Joshua and i said in unison as we look up to the person. What the fu-ck? It was Jessie. Yeah, Jessie. The girl who caused Joshua and i fight.
“Josh? Joshua?” She called out surprisingly.

“long time, Jessie.” Joshua said drily.
“yeah. How have you guys been?“
“good as you can see.” Joshua answered harshly. He was glaring at her. If look could kill, Jessie would have been on a journey of no return, trust me.
“yeah.” She sighed de-eply. “you still seem mad.” She added as she sipped from her milkshake.
“mad? for what?” Joshua asked acting clueless.
Like seriously, i still don’t und-erstand why i was sitting here, listening to this two conversation. I mean, what’s business do i have here?
“for what happened between Josh and i.” She answered.
Oh, now i know why I’m still seated here.
“look Jessie, that happened in the past. I’m way past it now. okay?”
“then why are you still sounding mad, Joshua. Why? Yeah, i admit i was wrong but you were never right either.”
“what do you mean?”
“did you ask yourself why i broke up with you?” She questioned.
Joshua hesitate for a while. He probably never thought about that.
“because you wanted to be with Josh?” That sounded more like a question than a reply.
She scoffed. “well yeah, that was what i told him. I mean, that was the only excuse i could come up with.” She sighed. “i was mad, Joshua. I was fu-cking mad at you! Do you know why?”
“why?” We both asked. Hey, don’t blame me, I’m curious as well.
“who was Skylar to you?” She asked.
Wait, Skylar? Skylar was Joshua ex girlfriend. They never really get along while they were still dating. But they both manage the relationship because of their reputation and all that but one day, Joshua got fed up of the relationship and decided to do the needful. No big deal. So why was Jessie asking about Skylar? Am i missing something?
“you know exactly who she is, Summer.”
She smiled. “she told you about me, didn’t she?”
“it was an interesting topic, Summer. You have always being a heartbreaker from day one, i should have known.”
“yeah. And that was the reason i broke up with you.” She said.
Joshua had told me about everything Ashley had told him, including the fact that Jessie was Summer.
“what do you mean?”
“i fu-cking saw you, okay? I fu-cking saw you with that bitc-h! She was ki-ssing and hugging you! Why didn’t you stop her? Why didn’t you end the ki-ss? I was furious. Even when i called to ask where you were, you lied. You said you were with a friend.” She sniffed. “i didn’t blame you, No, i don’t blame you. I was paying for my sins.” She smir-ked. “i hurt a friend. Not just a friend, a best friend. For the first time i pas-sthrou-ghthe hell she pa-ssed throu-ghwhen she caught me with her boyfriend. I hated myself.”
“then why? Why did you say all those things to me? Why did you ki-ss me after breaking up with my friend?” I asked.
“i wanted him to feel the pain i went throu-gh. Actually…i…i used you, Josh. And I’m so sorry. I’m sorry.”
I shook my head. “you don’t owe me an apology. Though, you do but there is one person you do owe an apology to.” She stare at me confusingly. “Ashley.”
“wh…wha…what? As…Ashley is here?” I nodded my head yes. “what happened to her? Is she okay?”
“It’s a long story. But you still need to apologize to her.”
“yeah. I do owe her an apology.” She stood up to her feet. “can you take me to her?”
“yeah.”

Joshua and I were waiting outside of the room for Jessie. She had gone into the IUC room alone, to apologize to Ashley. Only one person was allowed into the room.
“are you going to forgive her?” I asked Joshua.
He shrug. ”i don’t know. I actually cheated on her. Skylar did ki-ss me but i never knew she saw that.” He said as he rub his face with his palms and sighed de-eply.
“yeah. I’m sorry, man.”
“it’s not your fault.” He paused. “Honestly, i still have feelings for Jessie.” I stare at him wide eyes. “i know, funny, right?”
”yeah, man. Hope you know she has a child? And a woman who has a child, definitely has a husband.” I pointed out.
“yeah, i know.” I groa-ned. “you are such a spoiler.”
“sorry, man.” We both chuckled.
The door opened and she walked out of the room with tears on her face. She must have being crying while apologizing to Ashley.
“Is she ever going to forgive me?” She asked us as she kept on crying.
Joshua pulled her into a hug and started comforting her.
The Ashley i know, is not a girl who hold grudge against people. She was a loving and kindhearted girl. So yeah, she was definitely going to forgive Jessie if she was awake.
“mummy?” A little girl called out. Jessie pulled away from Joshua and turned to the little girl. The girl was a carbon copy of her mother but she had the same color of eyes with..Joshua?
“baby.” Jessie lowered herself to the little girl’s level and ki-ssed her on her forehead. “is your grandma doing okay?”
“yes, mummy.” The girl answered. “mummy, you are crying.”
“Am i? Silly me.” Jessie said as she wipe her tears and smiled at the little angel.
The girl glance at Joshua. “who is he, mummy?”
Joshua smiled as he waved his hand to the little girl. “I’m mummy’s friend.”
Jessie stare at him. She must be surprise that he referred her as a friend.
“Hello, I’m Ashley.” The little girl introduced.
Huh? Ashley? Wow, Jessie named her daughter after Ashley. She was really sorry for what she did to Ashley.
”wow. You have a very beautiful name, Ashley.” Joshua said as he smiled to the girl.
Ashley turned to me. “you are?”
I smiled. “Josh.” I said.
She giggled. “i like you. You are so cute. Do you have a girlfriend?” She winked.
Wow, is this cutey flirting with me?
“yeah, Ash.”
She scowled. “who is she? Is she more pretty than i am?” I bent down to her level and ki-ssed her on her cheek and she smiled.
“you are beautiful, angel. And so is she, but…she is more pretty.” I answered with a shrug.
I was expecting her to frown but she rather smiled and ki-ssed me on my cheek. “then she deserve you. I hope to see her before i leave.”
“i will introduce you both to each other, okay?”
She smiled and turned back to her mummy while i stood up to my normal height, so did Jessie.
”i will be with grandma.” As the girl was about to go, Jessie held her by the wrist.
“wait, i will like you to meet with someone.” She took in a de-ep breath. “i can’t keep on hiding the truth from you.” She mumbled. ”Baby,” She knelt down in front of the little angel. “you know you always ask me about your dad,” Ashley nodded her head yes. “well, baby…the time as come for you to meet your daddy.” She paused for a while. “He is your father.” She points at Joshua.
wait, what? Joshua is a father to Ashley? Like I mean, Ashley is Joshua daughter? What the fu-ck?
“what?” Joshua asked.
”before i broke up with you, i discovered i was pregnant with your child. I was going to tell you when i saw you with her…and everything else happened in a flash. After i gave birth to her, i wanted to give you a call to inform you but your number wasn’t going throu-ghso, i left. I left the country with my daughter.” She smiled. “our daughter.” she corrected.
Joshua stare down at Ashley. “I’m a father?”
Okay, i think it’s time i give them some privacy. I quietly left them as i entered the IUC to tell her what just happened.
I hope she would open her eyes one day. I fu-cking miss her. Ashley, please wake up. It’s time to wake up, please open your eyes. please. I miss you.
