Chapter Eight:

Standing up I open my closet, pack the necessary things I nee-d into my bag before walking downstairs, Livy laying down on the couch slee-ping, I stare at the stone in my hands then back to her, she look so peaceful
Shaking my head I put it back into my pocket then rush out of the house straight to where the money is kept, opening the door I stare at all four of them dividing the money and gold ” where’s my share ” I asked
” what’s the hurry boss ”
” I nee-d it now, immediately ” they all nod their head before handing over my bag money, smiling I rush out of there back home, shove it into my bag then write a letter to raven, breaking up with her
Dropping that on the be-d I run downstairs with the bag, Livy still asleep. Lifting her in my arms she g@sp still asleep, the door bust open showing three men with hvge muscles and a lady with brown hair
Not wasting time I run pas-sing throu-gh the back door, their footsteps are getting close to me gradually ” holy $h!t” why is Livy still asleep but come to think of it, if she wakes she will try st©pping me then try killing me also
Glancing back, they are just five foot behind me, the same wall I pas-s throu-gh the first time I escape from forest is standing there, closing my eyes I pray within me and in no time I pas-s though it, losing a step and falling on the ground
” oh god” Livy hold her head, slowly opening her eyes, gr-abbing the stone I place it on her che-st, her gaze met mine, those eyes have a lot to say. The light emitting from the stone turn red while I break it instantly
Livy fall back unconscious, I didn’t ask Mali for the effect that the stone will have on her, turning back I watch the chaos seekers trying to pas-s throu-gh. I quic-kly gr-ab my bag, throw Livy on my shoulder and run away
Mali mention a villiage called hidden sand, how do I find it, my leg just keep running even if I feel weak down there I know I shouldn’t st©p or else I will die and I dont want to die, no matter what.
I want to live
Looking up I notice its alre-ady late, all the trees swirling, rabbits jumping from one place to another and tricket ma-king silly noise, my gaze land on a cave as I make my way towards there
Dropping my bag I gently place Livy on the ground then head outside, break some wood, head back and make some fire before sitting close to it and robbing my hands. My life has really taken a u turn the moment I step into this forest
Maybe humans are right to say this place holds no good, maybe my foolishness is the reason am in this big mess that I might die anytime from now, maybe if I let the guards get hold of me I should have escape from there and run home to raven instead of being in this predic@m£nt
Maybe my feelings won’t have died for raven so fast and maybe Livy won’t be in my life right now, is not like it will make any difference to me or anything, I just wanted to fv¢k her, maybe if I had known she will throw me in I shouldn’t have returned searching for her
Turning around I stare at a slee-ping Livy, come to think of it she is the cause of all my problems, this little br@t. Why did Mali even say I should take her along, what’s so special about this dark eyes. What’s so special about this kitten anyway
Her hands move to her forehead, she g@sp for air before sitting up slowly, her face fill with confusion, she look round the cave and when her gaze met mine she flin-ch backwards while her hands move to her che-st ” who are you ” she muttered and I had no idea this will happen, She forgot about everything ” where am I” she look around, fear registered in those eyes, what should I say to her to calm her down
” calm down Livy ” I mumble while she title her head to her left and study me ” Livy??? Is that my name ” fv¢k!! Why didn’t Mali tell me she will lose her memory but this is a good thing, the intention of killing me won’t be in her head ” who are…..” Before she could complete her s£ntence footsteps caught my attention, I quic-kly b!ow off the fire, gr-ab my bag, hold Livy hand and hide behind hvge leaves which I had no idea was here
Using my hands I cover her mouth while I pin her to the wall, her cheek getting red. Gradually growing to her whole face and I know she is about to push me back so I did the only thing I can think of, leaning my head towards her ear I muttered ” dont scream am your brother, I won’t hurt you ” she furrow her brows then nod her head
The chaos seekers step into the cave looking around ” the fire is newly made, they were here” a lady muttered ” and it seem like Livy is working with him now, have she by any means fallen for him or something else ”
” Mr grey knows what he is doing, they is nothing to say to change his mind ” a male voice sound ” he blindly trust that br@t but we will change his mind with prove, right after burying that chaos successor with Livy ”
We stand still till their foot sounds were far away, my hands drop from Livy mouth as our gaze met, she keep starring at me like she is trying ha-rd to remember something ” are you really my brother ” she asked and I nod, maybe I should have gone with b©yfri£ndbut that will be weird, dont want her k!ss!ngme
Stepping out of our hiding place Livy pu-ll her hands away from mine ” sorry” she muttered ” I can’t remember you or anything other thing. What happened to me?”
” you….you” I swallow thinking of a lie ” you are cursed ” the words c@m£ out before I could think properly, she look scared ” that’s why we are on this journey, to find the cure” she sit down and hvg her knee to herself
She is still wearing my shi-t, really nee-d to find new clothes for her ” what about our parents ?” Her curious gaze met mine, ma-king my face sad I sit down ” they are dead Livy, they died from an accident ” her mouth form an o shape
Livy am sorry for lieing but this is for your own good, all we nee-d to do now is to find that sand village and hide there for awhile. Maybe you will regain your memory soon

Chapter Nine :
Livy
” where are we going ” I muttered while starring at him, he just woke up and he is arranging his bag in a swift movement ” is someone after us ” he look at me then nod
” we have to hurry Livy, can’t stay here too long ” he stand to his feet hold my hand then pu-ll me to my feet, that same electric feeling I get when ever he holds my hands c@m£ back to me. pu-lling my hands out of his, he turn his head then furrow his brows
” I…I…I can walk on my own ” avoiding his gaze I walk pas-s him out of the cave, the whole place look strange to me, its like my head is empty ” what’s your name ” I asked him
” Jake ” he rush his words ” now hurry we dont have much time here ” he fasten his steps while I walk behind him, the place is so beautiful, trees swirling around, beautiful bu-tterflies dancing and flying all over the forest and each river we pas-s throu-gh is always sparkling with a hint of white
Missing a step I fall down on my face ” ouch!!!” gro-an ing Jake help me up but when I try walking I fall down once again ” you’re so clumsy ” he lift me up in his arms, my hands ti-ght£ñ around his n£¢k
My gaze move to his face and my heart beat increase, why do he have to be my brother, why am I attra-cted to him. Burying my face in his che-st I inhale his manly scent, what’s wrong with me
” Livy can you stand ” with each word he spoke his che-st rise and fall, my gaze move to his che-st, something black drawn on his b©dy, what’s that ” Livy ” his voice brou-ght me back to my s-en-ses as I nod and he drop me gently
I follow his gaze to where he is looking, a hvge river separated us from land, a river that crocodiles are all over slee-ping ” oh God ” Jake place his hands on hisl-ips telling me not to make any sound
Holding my w@!st I furrow my brows at him ” am going to throw you over to the other side ” he whisper close to my ears while I nod ” in three, two, one” I swallow and the moment he said zero, he throw me away with all his strength
It felt like I was flying on air before my b©dy hit the ground, my back hurt so much, I gr0@ninwardly before gaining myself a little ” Jake? ” I mumble, he stood there starring at me, like he is calculating the distance, if he jump he won’t make it
Looking behind him group of people walking towards his direction, he open his mouth yelling something I couldn’t get ” behind you!!!” I jump up pointing and when he turn, his eyes wi-den
He move back before running with full f0rç£ then jump, he is not going to make it, cl@pping my hands together I pray silently not knowing he will fall on me, s£nding me to the ground with him ” ouch!!!” Yelling he quic-kly got up ” sorry, come. we have to hurry, those people will kill us ” he pu-ll me to my feet, throw me over his shoulder and start running
Are we going to keep running, my stomach grumble loud and my throat feel so dry, am hungry and tired

Glancing back I exhale knowing fully well I have lost them again, I look around the whole place rocks everywhere, this won’t be the sand village will it. Reducing my speed in walking I look at the signboard. Boys and girls holding a bag crossed with red marks, what is that suppose to mean
Walking further into the place, house were starting to appear, who will have thought places like this exist ” Livy are you okay ” dropping her off my shoulder, she look pale ” you are hungry aren’t you ” she nod and I rob her head ” dont worry, we will find food soon ” holding her hand we walk slowly
People stare at us throu-gh their house, the whole street quite, some open their door then li-ck theirl-ips. This place is strange and kind of freaking me out ” Jake??” Livy gaze met mine and I know she is thinking the same thing, she look scared, ever since she lose her memory she has been depending on me and I won’t let anything bad happen to her
squee-zing her hands in mine I smile as we st©p and I knock waiting patiently for them to open the door, the other people in different house look sad and walk back in before the door open showing a woman smiling while holding her baby ” we want water, if you can plea-se offer ” she nod
” come in ” walking inside the house I look around, the place looks amazing ” you’re right in time for lunch, you two look so thin ” an elderly man said walking downstairs ” go and refresh first, the bathroom is by your right then come here for lunch ” they are awfully kind which doesn’t sit well with me
” you people are kind, thank you ” they smile and I take Livy with me into the bathroom, I close the door slowly leaving it open a little to hear whatever they discuss
” are we bathing together??” Livy asked and I nod not really paying attention to her ” siblings do that together?? ” I nod again not sure of what she is saying, the moment I get their image, I watch the woman move to the door lock it and swallow the key
” we can’t eat them now, they are too thin. Have to feed them till tomorrow ” the man muttered and the woman nod agreeing with him
They are going to eat us, these aren’t human, they build this village to lure travelers in, in order to eat ” so that’s what the sign was about” indicating that travelers shouldn’t come here, why didn’t I un-derstand that. How the fv¢k do we get out of here,we also nee-d that meal
” Livy they is…. ” turning around, the shower is alre-ady pouring on her, she stood n-ked, eyes closed while she wash her hair, why the fv¢k is she n-ked. I couldn’t help it, my eyes lower to her tits and my c0ckthrob ha-rd ly ” $h!t ” I gr0@nsoftly, she doesn’t know anything
When she open her eyes, her whole face turn red ” you said is normal so why haven’t you take off your clothes??” Blinking. her words ring in my head, take off my cloth??
My ha-rd c0ckwill scare her off ” I don’t nee-d a bath ” I simply muttered before turning around
